Absolutely fabulous!
A wonderful experience! I was travelling on my own and caught them at the tail end of lunch. Nothing was a problem and they went out of their way to make the whole experience special for me. Gluten allergy? No problem. I ordered the risotto and he suggested that he could add seafood if I wanted. What came out was nothing short of magnificent. Beautifully arranged and delicious. They suggested a lemon sorbet to finish and that came out in a pretty dish with tiny chopped fruits. Not to mention that you’re dining by the water with views across Maiori in a proper Norman tower! Do yourself a favour, don’t miss this experience when in Maiori!

Location, location, location! The view-omg-tucked away in a 13th century medieval tower, /the only one on the Amalfi Coast with a restaurant, surrounded by an ever-blue sea and sky that seem to be one. Melt in your mouth ricotta ravioli. Service attentive with complimentary limoncello to complete the meal!
Amazing views and delicious food.
The service was exceptional. I don't eat seafood and many dishes have some sort of seafood. The chef made me spaghetti pomodoro and it was so amazing!
Exceptional by the Sea
Dined here on the first night of our vacation. Gorgeous location with stunning views. We sat inside at the cute little nook by the window as opposed to the terrace with everyone else. It was a little hot and with the sun setting and hitting the terrace just so, inside was the better option. We opted for the tasting menu and it was spectacular. Each course was exquisite both taste and presentation wise. Only critique was service…because we were inside and everyone was outside it seemed like we were forgotten sometimes. This is the only reason for 4 stars. I would return in a heartbeat though! And as we exited, fireworks ending the night with a bang!

Extraordinary restaurant is like something out of a movie
We have been to this extraordinary restaurant nearly every year for 23 years - and we cross the world from Australia to do it because there’s nowhere else like it. The experience starts with a walk across a “drawbridge” over the sea into a Norman Castle, like something out of a fantasy. Once seated with one of the best views in the Amalfi coast, the exceptional staff, led by the owner brothers, bring wonderful food, wine and friendliness with a professionalism that tells you you are in the hands of the best. And they will always offer something that exceeds expectations. I’d give 10 stars if I could.

Such an amazing place
We came here for the food tasting for our upcoming wedding, and were blown away by the food. We got to meet the brothers who own and cook in the restaurant, and we were thoroughly spoiled with both the cuisine and the view. Cannot wait to bring our family and friends here - also special thanks to Emiliano for the tour!

Best restaurant on Amalfi coast and beyond
Re-uploaded to edit our delicious dinner & visit in 2017 (took away a private picture). We had asked the hotel staff for some suggestions where to go for a "romantic" dinner just the two of us. Amongst others they suggested Torre Normana. So we booked a table at the Salon/balcony view (a couple of days in advance). We went there with taxi (wouldn't suggest to do that again, 20€ was overpriced for the short drive). Suggestion is to just walk it from Majori center, takes 15min. Waaauw, amazing restaurant, one of the highlights of our holiday! Astonishing view, delicious food, friendly staff and overall wonderful atmosphere. There was even live music (saxophone)! It isn't cheap (for us two it was about 220€), but oh my was it worth it! No wonder they're in the Michelin Guide :-). We were there between 1930hr and 2230hr. Saw the sun and the moon rise, changing scenery but ever so beautiful from the restaurant's view. Delicious food (suggestion to go for their 6 course Divina Costa menu), excellent wine pairing (especially their white wine Attems, *****), friendly and attentive service. My wife asked to pass the 4th course, as to save her appetite for the dessert. They kindly suggested to make it as a take-away box. An extra desert, only given to all the nearby ladies, sneaky tactic, because they were small items in sets of two (strawberry with chocolate, biscuit with Grand Marnier and so on) so the ladies could share if they wanted to :-). Towards the end, the terrace manager (Diego) came to ask if everything was to our satisfaction, to which we could only exclamate truthfully "absolutely"! A limoncello drink on the house, a small fridge magnet as souvenir and our take-away box later we slowly walked back to Minori. An unforgettable experience, absolutely recommendable! Both for romantic dinner and with friends. And to those naggers (especially English-native speakers) complaining they had to wait too long, good service takes time . So be polite, inquire nicely and wait, or go annoy somewhere else. Diego and team, thank you for this wonderful dinner! A la proxima volta!
BEST Restaurant on our 6 week Trip !!
Best restaurant during our 6 week tour of Italy. You need dinner reservations, which we weren't able to get the day of, although we were told 'if you show up at 8;45-9;00 we may be able to seat you'. They did and the wait staff was exceptional !! Food presentation was above top level quality. Waiters all jumped in to helped whenever needed. Food and main course was delicious. After a great dessert (wine list was tremendous), Our waiter INSISTED on driving us in his personal vehicle back down to Maiori as he said 'It's dark and I want you to be safe (we are a touch older!!); he refused to accept a tip, who does that nowadays?? This is a must visit if you are anywhere nearby (they do lunch with same extensive menu).
Great elegant restaurant.
We had dinner at Torre Normanna with our friends and have to say we had a feast. Yes it is expensive but worth every penny. We thought we would starve with the fine cuisine plates but the portions were delicious and generous. After the 4th courses we were ready to leave but the plates were still coming. We had the Tradizioni dei Monti Lattari a seven course meals absolutely delicious.

My fiancé and I had our first dinner as an engaged couple at Torre Normanna! We sat at the Ulysses table and everything was perfect. The chefs menu was 10/10 perfect!! Our waiter was so kind, knowledgeable, and made our experience so special. The castle is over 1000 years old, and was just an incredible experience. Any time we are back in amalfi coast we will come here!

I went here the night I proposed to my girlfriend with a small group of family and friends. From the very beginning you can see that the service here is untouchable by anything in the surrounding area. The staff very was nice and friendly and helped make good suggestions for wine pairings. I had ordered scialatelli pasta with seafood and it was by far the best food I had on our entire trip. The mussels, clams, and shrimp were all cooked to an absolute perfecting and the sauce that the pasta came in you could tell took time. I would definitely say this would be a specialty there! Next time we jump back to the area you will be making reservations here again and we will be trying the chefs multi plate option. Just make sure that everyone in your group wants to do this in advance as they will not do it for only part of the table, has to be all or none. Worth the visit, call or email and get your name on the list!
Real taste of Amalfitan Coast
We have had the opportunity and the honour to celebrate our wedding party at "Torre Normanna Restaurant". It not easy to put into words the level of customer centricity and quality we have experienced. All the journey we have started with them before COVID-19 pandemic impacted has been perfect, we have been followed with the utmost level of dedication and attention to the details. Not to mention the quality and sense of commitment in delivering something unique, from the set up of the location and the food served. If you want to step into an esclusive journey and enjoy an impossibile-to-forget moment, this is the place you are looking for. Thanks Ivano, Daniele, Emiliano and all the kind staff for having giving to us and our guests and real taste of the magnificient Amalfitan Coast.

Let's say Peter has a great morning and decides to take his three friends to Torre Normanna Maiori at 6 PM the same day.

That's where the community-driven bid process comes in.
Peter can place a bid on AppointmentTrader, which serves as a reward for any community member who chooses to work on securing the reservation. AT then notifies experienced users who may be able to help.
Step-by-Step Process
1.) Setting a Reward (Bid)
* AppointmentTrader uses historical data to recommend a reasonable reward amount for securing a reservation - let's say $100.
* Peter really wants to go, so he increases the bid (or reward) to $200.
* At this stage, the reservation does not exist yet.
2.) A Community User Picks Up the Bid
* FluffyStar64, an experienced AT user, has a strong track record of successfully securing reservations and low refund requests, they receive a notification about Peter's bid.
* FluffyStar64 picks up the bid, meaning they will now work on securing the reservation.
* Peter can now talk to FluffyStar64 for any questions Peter may have as FluffyStar64 user fills the bid.
3.) Finding the Reservation
* FluffyStar64 now uses their connections at Torre Normanna Maiori to secure the table.
* If they successfully get the 6 PM table for four, Peter receives a confirmation that the reservation has been secured.
* If FluffyStar64 fails to secure the reservation, the bid is returned to the pool so another user can try.
4.) Payment & Protection
* Once the reservation is secured, FluffyStar64 receives the $200 reward which is credited to FluffyStar64's AT balance, where users manage their own funds and can withdraw via available payout options such as bank transfer, PayPal, or Zelle.
* Peter can now enjoy the dinner with his friends at Torre Normanna Maiori!
* As with all transactions on AT, disputes and no-show fees are handled through the platform's community-driven resolution system. Users with a strong track record are incentivized to fulfill bids successfully, and community members can report issues to maintain trust in the marketplace.
