Raku Las Vegas Reviews from The Last Year
The most exceptional exquisite outstanding restaurant in
The most exceptional exquisite outstanding restaurant in Las Vegas. We have been here twice in the last week and we will probably be coming back at least once a week. The food is outstanding and what made it extra special tonight is our waitress her name was.Narumi and she graded us with the most pleasant smile, beautiful eyes, nice voice just a wonderful presence to show up at your table. She was informing us of the specials and was just the perfect server. We enjoyed her so very much and our experience even more delightful. Congratulations to management for putting together such an incredible restaurant with a staff that will keep you coming back and back.
Clean, good service, but menu items selection went down.
Feel a little bit demanding.

Stepping into the place, you're hit with this vibe that's pretty chill, kinda makes you wanna stay longer than you planned. The service though, that's another story. It felt like ages before we got our food, but let me tell you, once that food hit the table, everything else kinda faded into the background. First up, the Agadashi didn't quite hit the mark for me. It was alright, nothing to write home about. But then, the skewers came out, and it was like a whole new game. Each one was better than the last, cooked to perfection, flavors on point. The tare they use is world class. Now, let's talk about the real MVPs of the night. The Foie Gras bowl, the Ikura bowl, and oh man, the Pork Ear - absolute game changers. The Foie Gras was rich, decadent, everything you want it to be. The Ikura bowl had this burst of flavor with every bite, fresh and just downright delicious. But the Pork Ear, that was something else. Never thought I'd be raving about Pork Ear, but here we are, probably one of the best things I've ever tasted. So yeah, slow service aside, the food's what you're here for, and it does not disappoint. Hands down, some of the best dishes I've had in a while.
Really like the top choice dishes and beef skewers.
Def the must go restaurant in LV. Will visit if we will be in vegas again
Beautiful detailed interior decoration and great services!
Beautiful detailed interior decoration and great services! We tried both Omakase ( $120 and $150) ! Great portion and super tasty! Among Top of my list are Foie Gras and ikura Don !
Highly recommend this place.
Amazing food. Define worth getting out of the strip. Very authentic Japanese. Most of the chefs and staffs are Japanese as well. Service is excellent and ambiance is casual. I try to come here when I'm in Las Vegas.
Purely based on the food, loved the skewers.
In the order that was my fav and some being a close tie, tied the Duck, Beef with wasabi, foie gra, Iberia pork cheek, and yellowtail. Also had the fish of the day (flying fish) and I admit, I took off one star for this. It wasn't what I was expecting and the fish, deep fried, kinda dried out the fish for me or if that's the way it is, then it's personal preference that it's not how I like deep fried fish. However the broth, mushroom and the Japanese rice cake were the highlights that made the dish delicious and flavorful and not heavy. For dessert, the green tea creme brûlée was the better choice that the fluffy cheesecake (a little more tart/sour and mousse texture feeling than expecting). Nonetheless but delicious. If you are a green tea fan, the green tea ice creme on the creme brûlée was lit. Server was really nice, informative and polite. The ambience was pretty quaint.
Outstanding, creative food and serene setting
Outstanding food and lovely, serene ambiance - perfect for a special night out. Don’t miss the blue fin tuna expertly prepared. Also, grilled yellowtail skewers in a delicious marinade, a chicken, egg and onion bowl that was so satisfying, and the amazing Popeye Salad. Our server, Usse , our server was incredibly kind and helpful, making us feel welcome. Loved this place!!
Excellent creative food at Abuyira Raku.

Avoid Vegetarian Omakase
We were so excited to eat at Raku as my husband has eaten there several times and had a wonderful meal. I called ahead to order 2 vegetarian (no fish or seafood) Omakase meals. Our friends who ordered the regular Omakase had delicious meals. For several of the vegetarian courses, we received a grilled piece of onion. Very little food was served for the $240 we were charged. Despite the great serviced and ambiance we were not impressed with the food. We should have ordered off the menu instead of splurging for the Omakase. We left feeling disappointed and hungry. We will not be returning and will strongly encourage our vegetarian friends to dine elsewhere.

This was recommended by our close friend, who highly gave a thumbs up. We were a table of four, and we ended up ordering two tasting menus. The premium and deluxe, there was a difference of about thirty dollars between the two menus. Each tasting came with in-house fresh tofu and sashimi starters. Then progressed to yakitori and foie gras and rice. I can't name all the dishes, but each tasting came with about seven dishes including a fabulous strawberry ice and Japanese creme mousse. The pictures will have to explain it all. The staff and servers were very hospitable and very friendly. We really loved the service time /slot for each sitting, which is two hours. The sake menu is very extensive, but we enjoyed their Asahi on draft. The restaurant itself is small, but quaint. Anyway, if you want to enjoy a great omakase traditional/modern dinner you must try this place! Enjoy.
Did deluxe tasting and servers selection of sake.
We'll worth the $. Great experience
My new favourite Japanese restaurant in Vegas
I ordered the Tasting menu which was $160 and it was totally worth it. I added some umi and green tea ice cream to my meal because I have to and both were excellent. The tasting menu had sashimi, wagyu steak, pork skewers, BBQ mini corn, tofu, a tuna bowl and everything tasted fabulous and was presented with love and care. I met some great people at the sushi bar and the sushi chefs where great to watch. I would recommend this place to anyone who loves Japanese food! ( cooked or cold this place is amazing)
