Great views great food.
We had a hiccup with our reservation, but after a few minutes they sorted it out and sat us. Beautiful views of the city. Expect to be here for 2 hours or more. Pasta was delicious and the wine service was top notch. The deserts is where B roof truly stood apart. The sorbeto with sponge cake was our favorite, but the essence of tiramisu was incredible as well. Highly recommended especially to get a view of the city you can’t get in too many other places.
Shocking management!!
We booked in this bar to have some drinks before dinner and watch the sunset. We ordered our drinks and after a fairly long wait, considering it was not very busy, a lovely waiter arrived with our drinks. We were a group of 5 and after the waiter had put down 2 of the drinks he unfortunately lost control of the tray and it tipped the remaining 3 drinks down my family members' back. She was soaked instantly. The waiter was extremely apologetic, and clearly embarrassed, and was doing everything he could to help as me and this family member quietly rushed to the bathroom to dry off. He rang housekeeping and got us towels and a hairdryer very quickly. Weirdly, the receptionist nor manager did anything to help us, they did not even come over to apologise for the incident, instead they chose to just watch it all unfold in silence. The waiter told us our drinks and dry cleaning bill would be covered by the hotel. Once dried off we returned to the table and a new set of drinks were delivered. After our drinks we got up to leave and as we reached the bar/reception were presented with a bill for some but not all of the drinks we had ordered. We thought this was strange considering we had been told the drinks would be covered, but paid the bill without any fuss. Myself and the family member who had had the drinks poured over her approached the reception desk to ask for an email to send the dry cleaning bill to. We weren't originally going to bother with it but considering we'd paid for drinks we were told would be covered, we decided to ask. The receptionist looked flustered and said she would be back in moment, she returned with the waiter who had unfortunately spilled the drinks. He then gave us his personal phone number and told us to send the dry cleaning bill to him via WhatsApp. We were shocked to say the least. He was the only member of staff that showed any kind of concern for the incident and now he personally was required to pay the bill. I understand that it was him who had accidentally spilt the drinks, but I strongly believe it was the hotels responsibility to resolve the situation and cover the cost. Accidents happen, and the waiter was extremely apologetic, but the lack of care and assistance from any kind of management or other members of staff was absolutely shocking, especially considering that this is an expensive bar and hotel. We left feeling extremely sorry for the waiter and of course did not send him any kind of bill, but feeling outraged about the lack of service and care from the staff. It should not have been the waiters responsibility to pay the dry cleaning bill, nor should we have paid for even some of the drinks. This shows a complete lack of care from management, who seemed more focused on embarrassing the waiter than taking care of guests. For the very high prices and clear lack of customer care, I would not recommend this bar to anyone. The only reason I have only given 2 stars instead of 1 is because of the poor waiter who did everything he could to help us and clearly has to deal with terrible managers!
Outstanding views of Florence!
A lovely rooftop bar with exceptional views of the city! The staff were friendly and our drinks delicious. It took a little while for us to be shown upstairs to our table but the bar had been busy with a large group. Would recommend and return!
Disappointing with weather and low communication
Made a reservation for drinks based on reviews read. The weather was somewhat unpredictable (rainy) so when we arrived they said they had a great table for us inside instead. We obliged but quickly realized it was part of a group of tables behind the restaurant tables and there was a large pillar blocking the only window that had a view to the duomo. We didn’t really understand why we were put there since there were people on the patio where we had booked? In any case - by the time we realized how this wasn’t working out we had already ordered appetizers and drinks. The point of this was to experience the view so it ended up being a disappointment. I’d have preferred a discussion about this switch before we ordered.

We booked the American bar for pre dinner drinks the view amazing we Went for dinner we had the best view in the house absolutely stunning waiting staff very attentive and knowledgeable fab service , excellent menu we went for the steak option and glad we did 3 courses and a glass of wine other option was fish menu watched the sunset beautiful well done highly recommend and would definitely back what a memorable evening thank you your doing a greta job to all reading this review you just go
Roof-top dinner in Florence
We arrived without a reservation to try a rooftop restaurant in Florence. Fortunately, there was a cancellation, and we were able to get a table. The ambiance, service, food, and wine selection were outstanding! Danielle was very professional and provided top-notch service. Thank you so much; we will see you again soon!
Exceptional food with a city view
Excellent cocktails, especially the negroni, service and amazing views. We ate at the hotel restaurant and the food was exceptional as was the view.

We were guest here at the hotel, you need a reservation to have dinner even if they are empty they will ask for a reservation. We weren't able to get in the first night, second night with a reservation we were quickly seated. We had the lamb and tbone course for two which came with dessert and starter. It was very delicious and food coma worthy. Part of our stay we had complimentary breakfast. Breakfast was okay, mainly more on the pastries side that's offered. The view for both breakfast and dinner were amazing

Breathtaking views! We had a beautiful evening on the panoramic terrace at B Roof overlooking Florence and the Duomo. The restaurant is located on the fifth floor of the historic Grand Hotel Baglioni. We arrived a few minutes early and were greeted by friendly waiters. They asked if we wanted to sit inside or outside. I initially hesitated since it had been hot that day. As I floundered in deciding, the waiter instinctively said "follow me, lets go outside." He led us through a courtyard, then up some stairs, and then to the left into another open courtyard. And there it was! The Duomo! My first words were, "Oh my God! It's beautiful!" It is breathtaking. Since we were the first ones to arrive, we were seated at the best table directly overlooking the beautiful city. The "American Bar" experience consists of drinks and individual gourmet pizzas, which are served on the roof top terrace during sunset hours. It was definitely an unforgettable experience. We lingered there for hours, watched the sunset, and marveled at the beauty of Florence, the Duomo, and the Tuscan region off in the distance. Luckily for us, there was a light breeze, which made it that much more pleasant. The food was good, the drinks were well made and the service was excellent! Don't miss this experience if you are in Florence. Reservations can be made online, and your choice of meal can also be selected. Get there a few minutes early to get the best table on the terrace.
Today we decided to have a celebration lunch.
We ended up at B-Roof Restaurant. This place has the most amazing view. Imagine having lunch or dinner overlooking Florence. Imagine having the option of being on a rooftop terrace that's lush and green where you can have the most memorable evening. No need to Imagine just go here. The place is one of the more expensive locations but it's so worth the view and if you are with your family or someone you are in love with then this location will surely seal the deal. This is a reservation only and it's located on the 5th floor of the Grand Hotel Baglioni. This trip I have been nowhere dressed like I generally and when walking in the guys at the desk looked at us funny but we walked in like we owned the place. The elevators are tiny and old and once you arrive on the 5th floor you see a fantastic bar on the left where you sit on couches till they call you as you are in awe of the view. We were then seated and our servers were amazing. We had Ina who was fabulous and loved her. We were loud but she had an amazing time. We also had Andrea who seemed to be a manager there and was fantastic. He had great attention to detail and wine recommendations. Later in the morning, Martina joined the party. The experience we had with these three was second to none. Our lunch was memorable and this has been the best service in Italy so far. The food was at a good price and while choosing a wine o ordered what I thought was a glass of wine for 30 euros then well a bottle came out. I was shocked that for such a fancy location you can get a bottle of wine for 30 to 60 euros. Most of the options were in that range. The food was fantastic and the view made it better. We enjoyed looking at Florence while eating then we went to their terrace and took some photos. The bathrooms were very clean and in comparison to everywhere we have eaten so far in Italy, they have had the cleanest bathrooms. We were a little sad that we were not able to get the chef's tasting menu since it was a dinner option only but when I return to Florence I will be sure to have dinner here and say hi to the amazing staff that made our day absolutely divine.
Completely racist .
If you're brown and especially if you wear a turban avoid these despicable racist jerks at all costs. From the moment we walked in to the hotel the guy on duty gave us a clear once over and said oh well I don't know if they have room for YOU. Mind you the rooftop bar was completely empty. We get up there start waiting and a party of several people more, a completely white other large party, and another couple are seated before anyone bothers with us. When we are finally seated after 20 Minutes when again they seated other parties (who walked in and also had no reservations) while we waited, no one bothers to to come take an order. They have the ability to take the orders of other parties seated near us and others that arrived after us, but we were completely ignored so we just left . These people should be utterly ashamed and be exposed for the absolutely horrid racists they are.
View is amazing.
Great spot for a quick drink after dinner with great drinks and service. Book ahead, well frequented by the tourists and big groups. I can imagine the summer months makes it harder to get in. Worth the effort though.

3.) Finding the Reservation

* If they successfully get the 6 PM table for four, Peter receives a confirmation that the reservation has been secured.
* If FamousStation67 fails to secure the reservation, the bid is returned to the pool so another user can try.
4.) Payment & Protection
