The Sardine Factory Looe Reviews from The Last Year
Nice location, starters were good
Nice location and good use of a building that looks like it was stores for goods that came in on boats. The service was mainly good and friendly except for one staff member who was trying to get bills done (or something) and completely ignored one customer and rushed around as if she was the only one getting stuff done. The starters and oysters were good, salmon ceviche, haddock scotch egg and very good calamari. We had an oyster each from a dish of three. Their own butters are very nice, the bread is a big portion and filling so we only had a small amount. The mains were good on the whole, one fish dish could have been warmer, the crab linguine was good and a dish of mussels in broth was tasty. I understand what other reviewers have meant about the sight of a climbing wall at the back (it leads up from downstairs which is a separate organisation). We went in the evening and downstairs was closed, so if you had a table at the back of the restaurant in the day I’m not sure if you’d suddenly see a climber out the back window?! A very few tables have a river view but most don’t. The decor is pleasant and fitting. Not sure about parking nearby as we walked, it looks limited. We’d definitely return and maybe go for a mix of smaller plates/ starters as we enjoyed them the most.
Tasty, professional,noisy
We enjoyed our food, recreation of a GBM 2024 from the excellent chef here. Service was prompt. Staff helpful, Wine list modest. Room was not very atmospheric and with little muffling was clattery and noisy. Recommended.
It just gets better every visit.
Having first visited when it opened, we have returned several times when in Looe and this trip was no exception. We took friends who had never been before & we were all stunned with the quality of the food. The signature Scotch egg fish is as beautiful as when we first had it & 2 of us opted for what could have been a boring fish & chips. But oh my word! It was the tastiest, best cooked. & juiciest fish I have tasted in a long time. My husband’s burger was magnificent- thick & meaty with plenty of relish & accompaniments. The crab linguine was also pronounced a deliciously delicate flavour. I would have loved to make it to the desserts but sadly had no room. We will be back in July so maybe then ?!
Worth visiting the West Side!!
A simply superb restaurant! In all the years we’ve visited Looe we’ve never been over to the West side and we are glad we did! This is a top quality restaurant with quite simply superb food. I had one of the best starters I’ve had in years ( raw salmon - beautiful ) and my wife had a cod taco which again was superb - mine got the award though. We both had crab linguine for mains which was, frankly, the best crab linguine either of us had ever had - great quantity and a lovely mix of flavours and textures. Superb. We shared a pudding - Sheila’s delight which was not in the same league as the savoury but still lovely soft ice cream. Will be back. Ps the service was brilliant - I rarely tip but I did today.
GBM
We tried the Great British Menu with a couple of friends, of which we could not try the scallops, this made no difference at all the meal was lovely, service was very good, and thanks Ben and Charlie for coming out for a chat, great evening guys 👍
Average
Scotch egg and squid pretty good, fish and chips terrible thick fatty orange batter, fish not good, should be fresh with light crispy batter. came here 12 months previous and we had much better quality meal we loved it. Don’t think we’ll return next year.front of house great people but the main just ruined the evening.
Great meal with a view
Very enjoyable meal in a nice building and lovely setting and view. Very popular so would recommend booking. Service attentive and professional with good food and range on menu.
Popular sea front restaurant which lives up to its reputation.
A really good restaurant which deserves its Bib Gourmand status. It's popular so you definitely should book in advance. It's very good value for money (but not cheap) and the menu reflects local food availability on a daily basis. As well as detailed dishes you can still get fish and chips or a burger if you need to satisfy someone in your group - but I urge you to be more adventurous!
Underwhelmed!
Underwhelmed!! I booked lunch with my mum as a treat. I had mentioned when I booked I’m lactose intolerant. I chose Garlic prawns on toast with prawn head mayonnaise, delicious!! When it arrived it was 5/6 prawns on a large piece of focaccia. It didn’t taste of garlic at all!! I asked the waitress what they had removed for the DFO? The answer was the garlic butter!!! And the prawn head mayo??? Mayo doesn’t have dairy so not sure why that was removed! I did ask if they could fry them in olive oil and garlic! They did that but still no mayo! The staff were great but just a bit disappointed. It seems a shame that the chefs don’t use a bit of initiative! Main was ok, nothing special! I have to be honest, as great as the premises and staff are, we ate at The Coddy Shack ( in Looe) earlier in the week and that was fabulous!!
Cracking lunch
Cracking lunch, starter of mussels and smoked haddock scotch egg, excellent. Mains of mackerel and fish of the day lemon sole, again excellent. Can’t find fault here. Service good, smiles all around.
Front of house could be better
We booked for Ben's great British menu a month ago, we were seated and then unfortunately we were told it wasn't registered through the website, they acknowledged there was a booking problem but did nothing to resolve which created an atmosphere between us and the waitress which wasn't fair, we then decided to make the best of the evening as it was my birthday with no acknowledgement from the restaurant manager that there was a problem with the booking ,we then found out the table next to us also booked the menu but were also let down, who decided to leave. Upon payment we asked to speak to Ben who was more than accommodating and apologetic which could have been resolved with the front of staff at the time All I can say is the food is good but please be accommodating when a mistake is made. When in Looe will return for Ben's food but please organise the front of house
Okay have had better locally
There are some good views of the harbour depending upon where you are seated. The menu is good and reflects local produce. I had the fish and chips. The haddock was slightly undercooked, the batter is quite heavy and the mushy peas are really not good. The service is friendly, but we had to keep asking for things. It needs to be more attentive and receptive. I had to ask for the bill repeatedly. It has a good ambiance. VAT is added to the price of food and drinks, which is rather naughty. So would I go back? Maybe, I’m not sure. If you want excellent fish and chips or seafood- go to the Coddy Shack or the Three Pilchards at Polerro, they are far better in quality and value
From the outside it doesn't look like much but when you
From the outside it doesn't look like much but when you walk in it's huge. There are different rooms and a bar. I loved the big room in the back with the see through ceiling. My kids each got the wagyu steaks which they absolutely loved. I got the seafood pasta which was very tasty and buttery. It came with so much seafood I wasn't able to finish the whole thing. We also got the bons bons with the dry ice. Perfect ending to a really great meal. If I am ever back in Monterey I will definitely be stopping by
Michelin ⭐️
Aa pensioners mg wife and I don’t eat out very often but after watching Great British Menu we decided to splash out. What can I say? From the first course, the amazing Firefly with so many layers of flavour to the scallop starter, which I felt would be overpowered by Indian flavours, I was so wrong! The lamb? We both commented this was what lamb tasted like years ago Even the “simple” Affogato was a revelation. The food and the service were exceptional so why this place doesn’t have a full Michelin star I don’t know.
When can we come back?
Having watched Great British Menu we really wanted to visit The Sardine Factory in our home county of Cornwall. Ben, Charlie and the team are running the 4 course menu showcased on the GBM and wow! I'm so pleased we caught this menu option because it was amazing. Firefly (the vegan starter) was so lovely, the sweetness of the beetroot, the balance of the whipped feta, black garlic ketchup and delicate pastry just got better with every bite. The subsequent courses also delivered superb flavours, the delicate spicing and warming curry flavours surrounding a perfectly cooked scallop was excellent, the lamb rump tasted as all lamb should from this point on, the briam of vegetables, the burnt aubergine puree...... all brilliant. Finally the ice cream, the nod to the Cornish cream tea was a great way to end this meal. Every mouthful delivered and gave us so much enjoyment. The setting is relaxed and a lovely place to be, the team are all really friendly and have a great balance of being attentive and leaving diners to enjoy the meal. Ben also came and spoke with us which was really kind and interesting to discuss the GBM experience. We toyed with the idea of trying to book for the same menu the following day because we would happily of gone through the same 4 courses again and again. Instead, we will be visiting Love and the Sardine Factory again, we will try and organise our next stay from a fleeting visit to a slightly longer stay so we can also try YAMAS, the sister restaurant just across the river. Go and visit the team at the Sardine Factory, you will not be disappointed. Thanks to all the team for a memorable evening, and see you again soon!
At the Lounge, they have Happy Hour specials - pretty good
At the Lounge, they have Happy Hour specials - pretty good deals like $2 oysters! Happy Hour is 5-6pm and 8-9pm
Absolutely lives up to expectation!
Booked for lunch here with friends as part of wife's birthday celebrations and it certainly lived up to the expectations that had been set as a result of Ben appearing on Great British Menu and Charlie on Masterchef. Lovely ambience, airy and chilled. We had a mixture of small plates to share tapas style, each and every dish was a delight, really flavoursome and each plate was empty. Service was excellent from the greeting on arrival to ordering and service itself. We will certainly be back with family and friends!!
Great food and great views!
The Sardine Factory serves delicious food. The service is excellent and the views are marvellous! We’ve been here quite a few times since the SF opened and we’ve always had excellent food.
Outstanding food and service
Just outstanding. We ate here on our first night in Looe and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The service was excellent - our daughter is coeliac and very anxious about contamination, but our host quickly put her at ease and we could very clearly hear the “gluten free..!” order confirmation from the open kitchen. When the food arrived it was excellent - fresh crab linguine with al dente pasta, Cornish mackerel, juicy mussels and a perfectly cooked steak. Combined with great service from a busy but responsive team it made for a wonderful experience - so lovely to meet head chef Charlie in person too! The strongest of recommendations from us - thank you and we’ll be back.
Fire fly
We visited the sardine factory last week for the Great British Menu four course meal. I have to say that it was outstanding from beginning to end. I can see why fire fly won the starter. It even came in the lantern. Ben Palmer is an outstanding and very talented chef. I’m sure that it won’t be the last we see of him on the tv
Jose was such a wonderful server and made our anniversary
Jose was such a wonderful server and made our anniversary dinner special. Super high quality food and old school upscale ambiance. Great across the board!
We had a good experience at The Sardine Factory.
The food was delicious and the our waiter and attendant were very nice and attentive. I will say that I was a little disappointed that the dining room managers were not as attentive. I observed that they would return several times to the same few tables in the area we were seated in, and completely ignore others (ours included). They had the opportunity to make each table feel welcomed and valued but chose not to do so. The standard of service they are typically known for was not extended to all guests during my visit this time.
Absolutely faultless.
Absolutely faultless. Friendly and efficient service, warm ambience, fun decor, totally delicious food and excellent value for money. Cannot recommend this place highly enough - give it a whirl, you won't regret it!
Nestled in the heart of downtown Monterey, Sardine Factory
Nestled in the heart of downtown Monterey, Sardine Factory is a culinary gem that captivates both the palate and the senses. From the moment you step through its doors, you're enveloped in an ambiance of warmth and sophistication, setting the stage for an unforgettable dining experience. Upon arrival, my party and I were greeted by friendly staff who ushered us to our table with utmost hospitality. The restaurant's atrium decor and open lighting created an inviting atmosphere, perfect for a Sunday afternoon meal. As we perused the menu, we were captivated by their Pre Fixe menu each showcasing the chef's mastery of flavors and ingredients. Some in our party opted for the Pre Fixe while I opted for the a la carter as there were some tantalizing apps that I just have to try. We choose three apps, and the one that stood out was their fresh oysters shucked beautifully. Their stuff mushrooms was cooked to perfection, while the artichoke was the groups least favorite. Equally impressive was their bisque, refreshing salad, and their main course--the groups favorite was the succulent rack of lamb, expertly seasoned and cooked to a glorious medium-rare; the bone-in pork chop that was as tender as a beef filet and the least was the Fish Filet with Risotto that was overcooked. Each bite was a revelation, with the meat melting in the mouth and leaving behind a symphony of savory goodness. There were three dessert options that boasted an enticing selection of taste, but it was the carrot cake that stole the show. With a thin layer of cream cheese to balance out the not too sweet filling, it was the perfect conclusion to a memorable meal. Throughout our dining experience, the service remained impeccable, with attentive staff ensuring that our every need was met without intrusion. Their professionalism and dedication to customer satisfaction were evident at every turn ensuring we were treated as VIP guest.
Food good, service fail. Hopefully a one off blip
Second visit here after a wonderful first trip. The location is great in the old factory, views across the harbour. Nice walk along the quayside to arrive, nearly blown away on this rainy lunchtime. We were seated promptly at 12.30 and ordered 2 starters (sashimi salmon, fish tacos) both delicious, 5 mains (2 skate wing, 2 fish pie, children’s fish). The skate wing which I’d not tried before was good, very meaty, lots of it. But wish it could have been hotter, and in less butter. Vegetable sides were also not hot. Fish pies were meaty and enjoyed. Unfortunately after our starter we had to wait 90 mins for our main course. Our waiter hadn’t passed our order through to the kitchen, so we were left waiting for some time. I would have expected our waiter to have been checking on our behalf rather than me having to ask several times where lunch was. Our 2 80+ year old guests (who hadn’t enjoyed starters) were rather hangry at this point. Will come back as good fish restaurants are hard to find, I’ve put this down as a one off.

Last night was our first visit to The Sardine Factory and we were impressed. The ambience was relaxing and intimate. We were seated in the conservatory and the rain had just subsided. Lawrence was our server and was always attentive to our needs. I had the best calamari steak last night. It was prepared to perfection. Our food and drinks were priced fairly and our experience was fabulous. This restaurant is great for a special treat and their wine list literally requires a table of contents. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience last night.

Visiting Monterey and was looking forward to trying The Sardine Factory for the first time. Sorry to say there will not be a return visit. Do not waste your hard earned money on the Wagyu New York Strip which they boast as a 9+ rating and at MP (market price) have had more flavor & tenderness in a ribeye at 1/3 of the cost. There was gristle running all through this steak and no flavor. My wife got the Lobster Tail special which was well worth the price. Hard to walk away happy with the experience with paying $350+ (including tip) for 2 people. Server was very pleasant but the food overall was a let down. Definitely wish we would have returned to the steakhouse on the same block rather than trying The Sardine Factory for the first time.
Underwhelming experience
Expected more, under whelmed by the menu and standard of the food. Sent back first dish as it was cold, fried bread accompanied it was soaked in oil, sent that back. Food lacked seasoning, crab linguine couldn’t taste any crab. Fish was skate wing @£28, so more bones than fish. However the chilli squid starter was nice. Disappointing expensive evening. Won’t be returning.

If you haven't been, it is a must! The food was amazing and so were the drinks. I loved the artichoke soup. The restaurant itself was beautiful. It was also nice to have free parking available on site.
Probably the best restaurant I have been to
Absolutely awesome food, service and wine. We literally enjoyed every mouthful of food. We had a window table that overlooks the harbour and the restaurant is beautifully decorated.
Sublime
Sublime. We’ve eaten at Sat Bains, Fallow and Alchemila (Nottm) and this is absolute stand out above! Loved every mouthful and perfect atmosphere and service. Very impressive.
I would give this place a 4.
3. The ambiance is beautiful. I always request for the glass atrium, but even the inside--some rooms remind me of a royal family dining room. The food is pretty good. I've tried their ribeye that they cook for hours and only comes in medium rare. This was good, but very bloody for medium rare. I had to request for it to get recooked. We felt bad, but it was just so bloody. It was good after it got cooked a bit more! We've had the calamari (this was mediocre, not very fresh tasting) Their desserts are always amazing! We have gotten a cherry jubilee (to die for) and an ice cream bon bon. The bon bons come to your table with dry ice going all over the table, so this one is an EXPERIENCE which i loved !! The most recent time, we came for new year's eve dinner. The Fish Risotto was cooked to perfection, and so were our scallop appetizer. I always try to make my way back whenever I'm in the area.
Jennifer and Gavin, our servers, were absolutely phenomenal.
They were welcoming and so prompt with getting us settled. We also had the pleasure of speaking with Dave, who assisted us with choosing a wine to compliment our meals. The service was impeccable, the food mouthwatering and the ambiance was to die for! We had the most wonderful date night, on our vacation, and we can't wait to come back! Thank you Jennifer, Gavin & Dave! You made our nights complete!

Good was great! The calamari was soft and the risotto was so good! The staff was so nice and made us for comfortable , as it was our first time.
Very delicious and fresh fish.
I used to come here in the 1970's with my mother and little boy. Now he's all grown up and we came here with his family, and it is just as special as I remember it. The outside does not look impressive, but the food and service were excellent.

i have been to the sardine factory multiple times and it's always such a treat! the ambiance is like you stepped into another world outside of monterey; it's so fun! we started out with drinks and apps. the espresso martini was absolutely divine -- HIGHLY recommend. we then got the cheese bread, which never misses and is always consistently delicious! we tried the crab stuffed mushrooms, and while they were delicious, i'm not sure i'd get them again for $30 *womp womp*. the prime rib was cooked to perfection, however, it would've been nice to get a few more veggies :) the linguini and lobster had such wonderful flavor; the combination of veggies and lobster in the tomato cream sauce.. absolute chefs kiss. my only complaint is it was all claw meat, so it was a little fishier than i expected. antonio was our server, and took excellent care of us! an absolute must if you're in town. park in the lot above the restaurant as street parking can be limited in the busier months. also, highly recommend sitting in the bar area and enjoying the live music!
Good but ...
Great food, lovely atmosphere, slightly marred by a forgetful/ neglectful waitress and an additional charge for 2 small slices of GF bread.
Amazing experience from the moment we walked in the door.
The atmosphere was classy & peaceful. Everyone was so kind and attentive. The waiter and sommelier were both very knowledgeable about their menus. We picked a great merlot and ended the night with some espresso & cheesecake. We got engaged after leaving our dinner here so this place will always be special to us!
I don't even know where to begin.
.. the service was amazing. Both our server and our bottle server were very engaging and fun to chat with. I heard about their wine cellar from a friend and asked for a peek... luckily I was given the opportunity to walk through. It's so beautiful and there's so much history! We sat in an atrium sort of area. Probably one of the most beautiful spots in the house. Each room had its own unique vibe. Very very neat! The food itself was incredibly well cooked and tasty. I had a two bone lamb. A colleague had the calamari steak & scallops. Both incredibly well cooked. I would recommend to everyone to check this place out
Top top top Sunday roast dinner.
Amazing Sunday lunch. My favourite meal of the week. Roast beef was perfect and so tasty. Every aspect of our meal was so good. We are from Bristol where we are blessed with fabulous restaurants for Sunday lunch and this is right up there with the very best. The only thing I would change is I would have liked a bigger dish of cauliflower cheese as it was a bit too small for two people. Can’t wait to go back later this month.
Great night
Amazing food , great atmosphere, and service . A gem in looe. Perfect environment,, great choice of nibbles and starters, as well as main courses
The restaurant is quaint and vintage.
Our waiter was great and attentive. Only issue was the incorrect order - apparently there is multiple prime ribs on their menu and you have to be very specific you don't mean ribeye (which is what we received initially). The drinks were fresh and made to perfection. Honestly, glad we said something about the incorrect order because the "prime rib" was seriously exceptional. The oysters were honestly not the most fresh. While the lobster linguini was as amazing! Also tried the World Famous abalone soup, good flavor but underwhelming. Definitely will go back! A must if you are in the area.
Amazing Food
First time back since Covid and it didn’t disappoint Firstly service is excellent Staff are very attentive and helpful Food - To die for Pickles with wine …. Spicy sausage and potato skins Starter. I would recommend the Pilchards. They were amazing Mains. Fish pie and monkfish both superbly cooked Desert. Chocolate brownie Cheese to finish ! I would say the prices are reasonable to high but with food like this it’s worth paying that but extra Highly Recommended
Noticeably Outstanding
A most enjoyable experience on a miserable day. Our impressions on our first ever visit didn’t disappoint a large modern clean dining area with tables well spaced and an visually open kitchen from which a young and clearly enthusiastic team produced impressive food all personal perfected and checked on the day by the engaging Charlie of master chef fame he truly is an impressive and commanding professional and went out of his way to shake hands. He was Supported by a brilliant team both front and back of house. The ambiance was relaxed with pleasant background music and the chatter of others clearly enjoying the food.It isn’t the cheapest but neither should it be for perfection comes at a price. The Resturant is situated on the upper floor conveniently accessible by lift or stairs and directly overlooking the tidal rivers entrance to the sea so interesting views. The numerous toilets are outstanding and well away from diners. We left extremely impressed without any complaints whatsoever and a commitment to return ASP. Would highly recommend and from someone not easily pleased that’s praise indeed.
Fantastic food
A beautiful spot in the harbour. Nicely decorated and good atmosphere. Food and service was outstanding. A really good recommendation from local friends. Will definitely be back!

Fabulous fish.
We have just had a fantastic dinner at this restaurant. Both the food and the service was exceptional. There was a generous portion of monkfish cooked to perfection as the main. We had the potato skins to start with and delicious deserts. Would definitely return!!
The crab linguine was simply superb
The Sardine factory is situated on the West Quay of Looe. It has a casual atmosphere serving both seafood and burgers. The kitchen opens out on to the restaurant so that the diners can see the chefs preparing and plating the food on the pass. My wife and I shared starters of fried truffle potato skins along with a smoked haddock scotch egg. My main was a crab linguine which was simply superb. We finished with an espresso and a Tia Maria. The staff were delightful and very attentive We had a lovely evening and well worth a visit when visiting Looe.
Best Fish Pie in the Country.
Awesome Fish Pie, Mussels so fresh they tried to escape the shells! We came here for lunch on a miserable Saturday. It seemed like Cornwall had closed for the weekend as detours from the rad to Looe seemed to send us via St Ives. However, the ambience the friendliness of the staff, and most importantly, the food was fabulous. From the warm bread, local butter and home-made taramasalata to the delicious chocolate brownie, this was fabulous. Highly recommended... when the roads are switched on again in Cornwall :-)
Great choice
I chose this restaurant based on good reviews and it didn’t disappoint. Delicious food combined with great service. Had a lovely evening and would definitely recommend.

Great Service - amazing dinner!!
Read about the site in NYT and bought a reservation at Mother Wolf in LA 2 days later. Worked great and the food was amazing!!!
Worked perfectly!
Got the reservation (that I couldn't get anywhere else) and was able to entertain a group of friends at the infamous Bern's Steakhouse.
Got into Nobu Malibu
Wonderful! My parents are visiting and we have wanted to go to Nobu Malibu for years. I tried getting a reservation myself but it was next to impossible. So glad I was able to buy a reservation on appointment trader for a decent price!
Very easy
Was very hesitant going into this experience but am glad to say that it worked out very well ! will definitely use appointment trader in the future
Fabulous Lunch
I was veeeeeerry skeptical that this would work, particularly at a restaurant as hard to get into as Nobu Malibu, and it was perfect! We had lunch outside on the patio and it was fabulous!
Great reviewer team
Just wanted to take a second to shout out the reviewer team. Even though they probably review hundreds of listings and bids a day, they still take the time to leave great comments and respond relatively quickly. Thanks!
Incredible
I got a reservation to Don Angie, which I've been trying to book for weeks! I am very happy with this service.
Best platform out there!
Super simple, easy, and fast to secure reservations for hard-to-get restaurants and locations!
This app is life changing
This app has opened my world up to so many wonderful new experiences I would never have the chance to have without access to this awesome app! 10/10!
Worked perfectly
Was a little nervous at first but was pleased to see that the booking went through flawlessly.
Highly recommended.
Success on Short Notice
Was able to snag an indoor table at Don Angie through an absolutely seamless worry-free process.

So glad I came across this app :)
Quick table in Miami
I didn’t have my hopes high as it was a party of 4. In 24 hours I had a carbone reservation available! I was very happy as my family really wanted to come here

perfect
Worked well, got me into a restaurant with no availability
I was skeptical, and I still don't really know how they managed to find this hard-to-find reservation, but it was a win-win from my point of view, and I'll use this service again.
Last minute reservation for Delilah Las Vegas
Got a last minute reservation, dinner for 2 at Delilah Las Vegas: super impressed! The process was simple, transaction seamless. We had an amazing time! Couldn’t be happier! 😍
It works!
Ok at this point I've attended a reservation purchased on AT by a friend and sold a reservation personally. Both worked pretty smoothly, nothing sketchy about it. A few areas for improvement including a way to more directly communicate between buyers and sellers, but the app always seems to be in development. AT customer support is really(!) responsive and helpful too if you have questions!
Money transfer
As a seller, I like the fact i have the ability now to transfer money out of my AT account and into a bank account. Makes getting the money much easier then the process before.
Love this app
Got to go to places otherwise unreachable
Easy Access
Very easy to get into one of the hardest restaurants to reserve in New York.
Whose name will my reservation be under when I arrive at the venue?
It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!

Agreed. Ultimately not addressing this month after month is clearly resulting in a drop in certain venue’s rankings & sales.
Congrats on 3 mil

Need to cancel a bid, not getting a response… how do I do it?
Click on "Take off the Market Option" in your portfolio
Working on your bid?
Your bid has been “matched” with a reservation. From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.
Process after bid is accepted.
Hey @EvocativeFold67, welcome to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.
Where do the Reservations on AppointmentTrader come from?
Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.
What happens if my bid expires unanswered?
Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
