TLDR: incredible food, but women bewareHave been for both dinner and brunch. The food and ambiance are both incredible! Beautiful decor, unique tea and coffees, and incredibly fresh, hearty ingredients. The Kurdish breakfast for two especially is a great deal and so so filling without leaving you feeling gross and bloated. I'd love to come back with all my guests, except....We had a server for brunch that was so blatantly sexist I was shocked. I don't just mean assuming that the man at the table was paying when delivering the bill (though that happened too). I mean throughout the entire service, this server never once spoke to me or even made eye contact with me. It's like I wasn't there. He solely spoke to my (male) companion -- when taking our orders, checking in, bringing food, literally everything was "What would you like, sir? How does everything taste, sir?" Never mind I was the one who actually ordered the food -- he took my order without looking at me. Even as we were leaving, he thanked my companion for coming with a "Have a nice day, sir" and completely ignored me. I have never had such an obviously sexist experience at a restaurant in my life. The fact that I'm still leaving four stars is a testament to how overwhelmingly good the food is even in spite of the service. I might get takeout, but don't think I'll be back in person.
