I came on here to give a shout out to our server who made my experience wonderful. At first we were not noticed and I'm not sure if that was lack of communication but once our server Christine noticed us she was exceptional. She made recommendations and we took them. Let me tell you, spot on with those recommendations of food and drinks. Christine was very friendly and fun. Checking out was a little difficult too. I was told I could pay in front, so I walked to the front and stood there for about 5 minute in front of a few people who didn't acknowledge my presence. Once I saw the host, I asked if I could pay and he got my servers attention who helping another customer and Christine helped me right away. the busboy was great too. I think they just need a better process for checking in and out. Great food and drinks and our server Christine will be the reason we go back.

Great location that is about it for the positive! Tables on patio are so crowded together it's difficult to get in and out. Waiter, Justin, approached us and we ordered iced tea and sprite, a shrimp cocktail appetizer and our entrees. We waited 10 minutes for drinks and finally my wife went and asked the waiter who was just standing there talking if our drinks are coming and she added a glass of wine. He said they were on the way! 5 minutes later or entrees came out and followed by her wine Still no iced tea or sprite. And then a few minutes later, the saddest looking shrimp cocktail arrived. I had mahi mahi which was the thinnest piece of fish I've ever seen and very dried out. My wife had a dry chicken sandwich. My son had the cheeseburger which he said was okay. My son and wife said the french fries were not cooked all the way. The dill pickle was dry, small and shriveled. We ate our lunch, minus the shrimp, it looked sickening. We asked for our check and waited over 10 minutes then asked again. Finally, it came. We saw at least three tables get up and leave after ordering because the wait was so long or the staff never came over to greet them! Not once did anyone ask if we needed anything or asked how our meal was? Way too many other decent places to go in Laguna, don't waste your time or money here!

Food has improved since last visit but the prices have also jumped. Of course you're also paying to eat on the beach. We've been going there for years because of the views but the food was mediocre. I don't know if they have new owners or new chef but the food has improved substantially. Will keep going there since it represents the Laguna laid back scene.
Great place for lunch on the beach
We were in Laguna Beach for a family memorial. Greeters Corner accommodated our large party with ease and were so attentive, caring and friendly. The food and service was very good. The location doesn’t get any better. We so appreciate you guys.

And I heard the host from hell ask one of the servers from hell how much we tipped on our takeout order of only 2 burgers that took FOREVER to come out. They are lucky we tipped at all with their horrible attitudes and shitty food! Burgers were so hard and bland I'm pretty sure they were frozen and heated up in a microwave! How is this horrible place with these horrible people still open? And don't even get me started on the prices! STAY FAR AWAY

In summary, I would rather give up my firstborn than return to this establishment. To put things nicely, the "chicken strips" that we were served looked like they had been cooked in biohazardous waste and garnished with an orange slice for some colorful distraction. For the same amount of money, we would have been able to take a roundtrip extravagant family vacation. For us, the cherry on top was when our negligent waitress demanded an 18% tip - after being a sorry excuse for a server! You could get a partial view of some sand, but at what cost? Please spare yourself the pain and avoid The Greeter's Corner.

Food is amazing. Ambiance is great and the service is excellent… the menu is extensive with lots of options. We would definitely be back.
Brunch at Laguna beach
Delicious breakfast at the terrace while enjoying the sun and view at the beach! Free refills of coffee and water and we even we’re treated with a complimentary dessert by the cheff. Great experience and very friendly staff!

There were 6 of us and everyone was very happy with their food choices. I had the Huevos rancheros with home fries my wife had breakfast burrito. The service was friendly and prompt Definitely will go back loved it

Stopped by the restaurant while in the area made of a big mistake of going in before checking the ratings. Me and my friend just wanted a drink before ordering anything else so we got a smoothie, but the service felt condescending, I don't want to assume but it felt like it was my accent that bothered the old blonde lady who was our waitress, she repeated the note on the menu in a over pronounced way (felt like she didn't know I can read) and her manners were not very friendly. We asked the waitress if we could get no ice or sweetener with the drink and she said it was not possible and "recommended" us to seek service elsewhere, which was simply passive aggressive and long story short we were refused service, I don't want to assume that the reason is racial so I'll just assume they didn't see any value in our dollar. Terrible experience, if u want to feel degraded and unwanted this is the place for it!

Couldn't get worse
Waited 15 minutes before I decided to finally get up and ask a waitress (who passed our table over 10x) if I could please see a menu. None of the servers had any interest whatsoever in helping us. We finally did get a waiter who was unconcerned about our food or needs. The prices were outrageous and the food was pitiful. The owners of Greeters Corner should be ashamed. Never ever go here! Much better is Nicks, Finneys, Carmelitas, Mandarin King (family owned) or an excdllent fine dining restaurant is Selanni's -across from Surf and Sand hotel.
Poor customer service
Surprisingly rude behavior from one staff member ( owner? ) who seemed to be in a huff over a different guest interaction. Unprofessional. She also did not know what was exactly on the menu, she took an order , did not give us the item and simply forgot to tell us that this item was not available. This place can do without her. The food is so so. The fish and chips is good, the omelette less so. Not worth the price.
A one and done - tourist trap
The food was sub-par and the service dismal. Asked up front for water and coffee and extra napkins. Got the coffee only. Took 3 asks to finally get the waters. Had to ask another waitress for the napkins. My crab omelet was crunchy because I could see pieces of the red crab shell inside. The crab itself was not fresh, it was a sickly grey/white color. Only took a couple of bites and didn't finish. The toast was two pieces but only came with one butter packet. The cottage fries were good. My friends order was not correct. Now, all these things could have been addressed with management, but our waitress was absent. When the order was first served my friend did mention that the order was incorrect, her response was "I put it in correctly and that's what came out." Never came back to ask if everything was Ok, would have told her about the inedible omelet. Didn't see her again until she delivered the check. In the meantime the bus boy was the one who poured extra coffee and got us the water. I tipped him instead of the waitress. I have never not tipped at least 10% but not to this vanishing waitress. And their automatic check out gives you three tip options. I pressed the No Tip button. I live in the area, won't go back.
Horrifying
Food was served on a dirty plate with crust along the edge, husband was brought the wrong food (and they tried to insist he take it- "don't you want the pasta?"), then again brought a meal with a hair sitting right on top of it. Couldn't have gotten out of there fast enough.
Overpriced!
Awful place, the waitress was kind but she charged us 44 dollar for two black coffees, two slices of cake and one Coke. When I asked for an explanation she told me this was the normal price. Normal? This is not normal, it is the strangest bill I have ever received. Too high, and I don't like to pay overpriced when it is not worthy. Just don't go and safe your money.

Wonderful! My parents are visiting and we have wanted to go to Nobu Malibu for years. I tried getting a reservation myself but it was next to impossible. So glad I was able to buy a reservation on appointment trader for a decent price!

Fabulous Lunch
I was veeeeeerry skeptical that this would work, particularly at a restaurant as hard to get into as Nobu Malibu, and it was perfect! We had lunch outside on the patio and it was fabulous!

Ok at this point I've attended a reservation purchased on AT by a friend and sold a reservation personally. Both worked pretty smoothly, nothing sketchy about it. A few areas for improvement including a way to more directly communicate between buyers and sellers, but the app always seems to be in development. AT customer support is really(!) responsive and helpful too if you have questions!

As a seller, I like the fact i have the ability now to transfer money out of my AT account and into a bank account. Makes getting the money much easier then the process before.

Whose name will my reservation be under when I arrive at the venue?
It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!

Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.
Where do the Reservations on AppointmentTrader come from?
Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.
What happens if my bid expires unanswered?
Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
