Spicy Miso King is a great one ! Extra Chashu, Egg and side of Chicken Karage elevate it further ! Usually, the wait queue outside the store is long as it is very popular, so arrive on time (as the store opens), but once inside the restaurant - service is ON TIME !

UPDATE: A Ramen Nagi customer representative has reached out and apologized for the worker's behavior as well as notified that the training procedures will be reviewed again with the team. I'm happy to see Ramen Nagi's acknowledgment of the issue and commitment to customer satisfaction.

The line is always like a line at Disneyland, but it's so worth it. My son's favorite food is Ramen and this place exceeded our expectations by far, definitely worth the wait.

What the heck has happened to this place? It blew up, a second location in the Bay Area opened, and even went through minor interior remodeling... and yet somehow this place is unrecognizable in food and service. There used to be bean sprouts and something else at every table. That something else is now gone. A small thing, but it's the small things that count. Also, they may very well say 'take your time' but giving me the tab as I take my first slurp just destroys any hope I had. Disappointed, but hey, nothing lasts forever.

Had to go back to try their different ramen, had the Green King this time. Ramen was good, I think personally I would choose the Spicy ramen instead. Service and environment is nice as always.

The place looks small from the outside, but it's actually pretty big inside. My coworkers and I came here for lunch and didn't wait too long (probably 5-10 minutes). I've been to other locations and really like their chicken karaage; which I'm happy to report taste the same crunchy goodness in this location as the other SoCal locations.... yum! The ramen is also just as good as their SoCal counterparts. So consistency all across the board!
The Ramen here is legit and always consistent.
The Ambiance is clean, open and a friendly environment. With the ramens authentic flavors, fast and easy ordering process , and great customer service, this place is a go to for my husband and I. Unfortunately our favorite employee Clark will be leaving. Clark and the ramen is what brought my husband and I back from our first visit as good customer service is hard to find now and days. Clark knows his food, culture, and is well versed on food suggestions and how it is supposed to be eaten. His customer service is exceptional and we will miss seeing him at Ramen Nagi but he has earned his stripes 100%.

Black King is my favorite, can't find any other ramen place with such innovation like Ramen Nagi.
Line was long 40 minute wait on a weekend.
But the food was served fast. I thought 1 bowl was enough to keep me full. The noodles were very good. I chose squid ink. You could taste the ink but it is very subtle. I added heavy garlic and it exceeded my expectations.Overall I enjoyed!
Tasty ramen.
.. but I'm not sure it is good as it used to be. They make you order on paper before you sit down, but never hand you the menu with other items... I saw the table next to us ordered chicken kaarage, but I didn't know they offered anything besides ramen! This time I got the veggie ramen and it was yummy and has the crispiest potato cake (like hash browns), yum! One thing is the broth is more like a gravy on this one. Their classic ramen is great... I still need to try the red king (spicy). I noticed it was super popular, so I'll have to confirm on that one later.

The lines are always going to be long but definitely worth the wait. I get the veggie king ramen and it does not disappoint! It comes with hash browns that are always crispy and delicious. Staff is always nice and attentive, I would come again

Believe the hype!! I've lived in the Bay all my life and have never had Ramen Nagi and when I tell friends/ family this I instantly get turned heads and incredulous looks: "you've never had Ramen Nagi??!". Came around 7PM on a Tuesday and the wait wasn't bad at all (~40 min) considering we had a larger group of 5. They do a good job of moving the line along and since you can order on the sheet of paper while waiting, as soon as we were seated our orders were taken and food comes out promptly. I ordered the Red King at a spice level 4 which was the perfect level of spice for me, delicious, rich broth with thinly sliced pieces of chashu that were so tender! We also got some plates of karage and gyoza for the table - I don't even normally like karage but these pieces had an almost sweet batter and were huge/ delicious as well. Service was quick and efficient, reminded me of the ramen shops in Japan but we never felt rushed despite the growing line outside. Unfortunately there's no option for takeout but they do provide takeout containers for leftovers. By far the best ramen I've had in the Bay and I'm already looking forward to coming back!

Me and my kids were in NorCal and one of our stops was Palo Alto. My son searched up ramen restaurants in the area and this was highly rated. We drove here and this is in downtown Palo Alto so parking can be tough but luckily as soon as we found the place we got a spot in the street as someone was leaving. We were here on Sunday night around 6:30pm and there was already a long line. While on line one of the servers came out and explained how the menu works and showed us samples of the type of noodles and explained their menu and their award winning broth. As you wait there's 2 outside sections for the line and there's a waiting area inside. I think we waited for about 30+ mins before we were seated (party of 3). What I did notice is that they seat single guests and couples faster so there's guests behind the line that got seated first. We got seated by the corner table and our server marked the form as to where we were seated. They have the table set with some peppered bean sprouts, chopsticks and condiments in the middle. They also provide a pitcher of water. Ordered the Original king thin noodles, medium spicy with egg. My boys ordered the same but picked the different variations. We also had the Karaage which was crispy and flavorful. This dish wasn't on the sheet but the server asked us if we wanted to add that. Food came in quick, Karaage came first and then our ramen followed after with the chashu rice. Not a fan of the rice but definitely a fan of the broth and noodles. For me the level 2 spice was just right - again you can modify your ramen according to your flavor preference but I would try to keep it close to the Chef recommended options. Since I am not from the area I am glad they have this in LA and will definitely try it, I know we attempted one time in Westfield but the line was too long. Good thing is they text you in West LA you don't have to be in line.

BEST RAMEN I EVER HAD!!! This was amazing and I devoured everything. Love how you can personalize your order with the menu they give you and they give it to you before you sit down so the food came out pretty quickly. And we were seated in a good amount of time even due to how packed it was.
The WORST customer service EVER! I hope the manager reads
The WORST customer service EVER! I hope the manager reads this! The host is rude and the server has a bad attitude!
Best ramen I've ever had.
Worth the wait!!! Try Celine goes back relatively quickly. Add extra garlic!!
Ramen Nagi remains our favorite ramen and we have tried
Ramen Nagi remains our favorite ramen and we have tried many of the top ramen places in the Bay Area. The wait time is usually at least 30-45 minutes during the weekend but it's still worth the wait for us. Since we have been customers for years, a couple things stood out from our last few visits. First, the chashu rice now comes with larger chunks of chashu and pickled ginger on the top and we much prefer the old way without the ginger and smaller bits of pork. It won't keep my kids from eating it but we just always end up talking about how we prefer "the old way". And second, the line situation outside is nothing short of a disaster. They need an employee like at Disney World who holds a sign that says "End of the line". I always attempt to explain to new customers where the line starts and point down half a block where 20-30 people are already waiting. But sometimes customers ignore directions from staff and others waiting in the line and they still try to cut into the line closer to the actual restaurant. I don't blame the neighboring restaurants and businesses for not wanting the Nagi line to block their entrances but the line management really needs improvement and more supervision from their staff. A walk up/sign up list perhaps? We still love Ramen Nagi and are never disappointed in the quality of food and flavor when we go. 5 stars for food but should take off a star for the stress involved waiting in line - though it can be quite entertaining when people attempt to cut the line.
Absolutely one of the best ramen houses I've ever
Absolutely one of the best ramen houses I've ever experienced. Long wait, but well worth it. Chicken karaage is delicious.
BEST place for Ramen Bowls! My second visit!
My second time as a Palo Alto visitor! Last was in Jan 2022 and when back this time, with family, had to go again! Wait was shorter this time for lunch! Always a super sign when there is waiting outside right?! Had a spicy version of my pork spare ribs ramen bowl. Next time, may just have slightly thicker noodles though. Despite it being YUGE! I finished it all!!!

Great Service - amazing dinner!!
Read about the site in NYT and bought a reservation at Mother Wolf in LA 2 days later. Worked great and the food was amazing!!!
Worked perfectly!
Got the reservation (that I couldn't get anywhere else) and was able to entertain a group of friends at the infamous Bern's Steakhouse.
Got into Nobu Malibu
Wonderful! My parents are visiting and we have wanted to go to Nobu Malibu for years. I tried getting a reservation myself but it was next to impossible. So glad I was able to buy a reservation on appointment trader for a decent price!
Very easy
Was very hesitant going into this experience but am glad to say that it worked out very well ! will definitely use appointment trader in the future
Fabulous Lunch
I was veeeeeerry skeptical that this would work, particularly at a restaurant as hard to get into as Nobu Malibu, and it was perfect! We had lunch outside on the patio and it was fabulous!
Great reviewer team
Just wanted to take a second to shout out the reviewer team. Even though they probably review hundreds of listings and bids a day, they still take the time to leave great comments and respond relatively quickly. Thanks!
Incredible
I got a reservation to Don Angie, which I've been trying to book for weeks! I am very happy with this service.
Best platform out there!
Super simple, easy, and fast to secure reservations for hard-to-get restaurants and locations!
This app is life changing
This app has opened my world up to so many wonderful new experiences I would never have the chance to have without access to this awesome app! 10/10!
Worked perfectly
Was a little nervous at first but was pleased to see that the booking went through flawlessly.
Highly recommended.

I didn’t have my hopes high as it was a party of 4. In 24 hours I had a carbone reservation available! I was very happy as my family really wanted to come here

perfect
Worked well, got me into a restaurant with no availability
I was skeptical, and I still don't really know how they managed to find this hard-to-find reservation, but it was a win-win from my point of view, and I'll use this service again.
Last minute reservation for Delilah Las Vegas
Got a last minute reservation, dinner for 2 at Delilah Las Vegas: super impressed! The process was simple, transaction seamless. We had an amazing time! Couldn’t be happier! 😍
It works!
Ok at this point I've attended a reservation purchased on AT by a friend and sold a reservation personally. Both worked pretty smoothly, nothing sketchy about it. A few areas for improvement including a way to more directly communicate between buyers and sellers, but the app always seems to be in development. AT customer support is really(!) responsive and helpful too if you have questions!
Money transfer
As a seller, I like the fact i have the ability now to transfer money out of my AT account and into a bank account. Makes getting the money much easier then the process before.
Love this app
Got to go to places otherwise unreachable
Easy Access
Very easy to get into one of the hardest restaurants to reserve in New York.
Whose name will my reservation be under when I arrive at the venue?
It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!

LOL. Thank you The New Yorker.

Transferring reservations is not supported in AT. Why not just use the name in the AT screenshot?
Buyers interested in Bern's Steakhouse: PLEASE READ
Same goes for 4 Charles and I Sodi
Prepaid Reservation Fee
Agreed. Ultimately not addressing this month after month is clearly resulting in a drop in certain venue’s rankings & sales.
Congrats on 3 mil
🍾🍾🍾🍾🍾🍾🧨🧨🧨 now on to 30 mill!
Need to cancel a bid, not getting a response… how do I do it?
Click on "Take off the Market Option" in your portfolio
Working on your bid?
Your bid has been “matched” with a reservation. From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.
Process after bid is accepted.
Hey @EvocativeFold67, welcome to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.
Where do the Reservations on AppointmentTrader come from?
Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.
What happens if my bid expires unanswered?
Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
