Suggestive location, you can have lunch outside under a giant tree! And then… that's it. We draw a merciful veil over the service. The guys at the tables will have some reason to be angry and in a hurry. If you seek their gaze you remain with your hand raised. They bring the rice without giving you the spoon and then three minutes to get it. Portions too small. Mediocre flavours. Treated like criminal
The food is good but the waitress ran after me with the bill shouting down the stairs when I went to the loo. My partner was still at the table. It was most insulting. Service for dessert was slow after this. I would No recommend it as they asked when we would pay again. There are nicer fish restaurants in Bologna.
EXCELLENT FISH AND CLEAN PLACE
Very clean tavern with helpful and welcoming staff. The fish is of excellent quality. Small and delicious clams. Tasty grilled fish skewers. My husband asked for raw fish and the waiter made sure in the kitchen that it was fresh and chilled and it arrived with some fabulous prawns. We had three glasses of decidedly good brut prosecco. We will be back soon. Excellent price quality. It deserves it.
Lots of food in a nice atmosphere.
The ambiance is excellent but the food is a bit of the same. Many fried fish variations. Also keep in mind that you do not order too much. You can easily share the fried fish. It is also not the intention to have a starter and main course. Everything is a main course and no one explains it.

"I was disappointed by my experience at Osteria da Bartolini in Bologna. I cannot deny that the setting is pleasant and the atmosphere welcoming, but unfortunately the quality-price ratio leaves much to be desired. The dishes offered do not justify the prices at all exorbitant prices charged by the restaurant. I found the food to be mediocre, and considering how much I paid, I would have expected much more."I add that living a few hundred meters from the tavern I have tried several times for things to change, but instead they got worse and worse . Given the location, it's a shame to leave that place with a big, bitter smile and an empty wallet.
family dinner
osteria bartolini is always a good place to spend a family evening, nice atmosphere and the fried foods and desserts are always a sure thing, but... two portions of potato croquettes and cod (with an overwhelming pre-eminence of potatoes) for 32 euros seems to me excessive to say the least and I appreciated other first courses on the previously tried menu more than the passatelli with spider crab eaten last night. The impression is that of an increase in costs that is sometimes unjustified (see the potato and perhaps cod croquettes above) and of new proposals that are not always up to the standard of a menu that remains very similar to itself
In short...
Unfortunately this place is still far from the standard of the "Mother House" of Cesenatico whose menu it shares. The fried food, which should be the flagship dish, does not have the same fragrance and in the end the underlying paper is full of grease; the abundance, almost too much, of the portion does not counterbalance the quality and makes it heavy. The desserts were excellent, but the final bill was unbalanced (upwards). Good wines by the glass. Best wishes for improvement.
Don't take that risotto...
The place is beautiful, in an internal raised garden in the shade of a 200-year-old monumental plane tree. Here is the reason for the score. Moving on to the restaurant, the staff is rushed and not very friendly. Very poor menu, with only two first courses. But let's talk about risotto... the most disappointing thing ever. You ask what it is, since the description (fashionable Peppe) does not clarify, and they tell you that it is with fish sauce, you are tempted to take it and... the rice is in a juicy mess where the fish is, it has been cooked and promptly removed until last crumb. Since they are from Rimini, Taiad'lot, or pasta in watered down sauce, seems fashionable to me. They recovered with the fried food, which was very good. Anyway dear.
Lots of scene
Poor and very expensive in proportion to the quality of the fish. In particular the watery sardines. In the hope that it was an unhappy day for the chef, I confirm that the vision of the centenary plane tree consoles and gives hope.
Don't tell the waitress that you didn't like something!
We started with the sardines which turned out to be bland, tasteless and immersed in an unappealing slop. I mentioned the problem to the waitress after she asked me; big mistake from that moment on we were ignored and served with disdain bordering on rudeness.....the rest of the food was passable, the chips were good, the tartare was good and the sorbet was mediocre. Expensive bill for the (low) quality of the food. Experience not to be repeated!

The food was very tasty, price was spot on 50 euro for two people with one drink each, ambiance was amazing. Loved this meal. The service was very straight and to the point. So maybe people here want more friendliness. I thought they did their job. Recommend by the Michelin bib gourmand

Con mia moglie e un nostro amico decidiamo di provare questo ristorante Entriamo alle 19:50. Ordiniamo subito un fritto e tre primi. Il fritto arriva dopo un paio di minuti. E quello sbagliato (ci mancherebbe, può capitare). Il cameriere dopo altri 2 minuti ci porta quello giusto. Alle 8:20 il cameriere ci porta via i piatti. Aspettiamo... 40 minuti dopo, verso le 9:00 il cameriere si scusa dicendo che c'è stato un piccolissimo sovraccarico in cucina ma che i nostri piatti stanno per uscire da li a 2 minuti. (Può capitare.......invece arrivano 20 minuti dopo... dopo aver aspettato quasi un ora. Il cameriere si giustifica dicendo che volevano far uscire tutti (tre) i piatti insieme. Il polpo ordinato da mia moglie non aveva alcun sapore ed era un po' gommoso. Nemmeno le patate avevano alcun sapore. Il mio piatto al ragù bianco di pesce era salatissimo e immangiabile. Ora premetto che non ricordo di aver mandato un piatto indietro negli ultimi 10 anni. Ma sono stato costretto a farlo con entrambi. Il cameriere si è offerto di rifarli ma noi a quel punto avevamo perso l'appetito. Ho chiesto di poter parlare con il manager per poter spiegare la situazione. Il cameriere è tornato dicendo che che il manager era troppo impegnato per poter parlare con noi, ma ci avrebbero offerto i dolci. Noi abbiamo gentilmente declinato. Una volta arrivati alla cassa il manager ci ha fatto la cortesia di presentarsi chiedendo se era andato tutto bene. Ho iniziato a spiegargli cosa non fosse andato bene, e lui in maniera maleducata e canzonatoria ha iniziato a dire che non era vero che avevamo aspettato quasi un ora ma al massimo solo mezz'ora, che era assolutamente impossibile che il polpo non fosse buono e che, a quel punto, certo si "scusava" (in maniera estremamente infastidita) ma che quella situazione in quel ristorante non era MAl capitata (concetto ribadito svariate volte). A quel punto ha sottolineato che, visto che non ci stava facendo pagare i due piatti che abbiamo mandato indietro (bontà sua). non avevamo più niente da dirci. Ho molto rispetto per chi lavora, e avendo molta esperienza nel campo della ristorazione sia in Italia che a New York, capisco bene che una serata può andare storta. Ma in 37 anni non ho mai visto posto gestito in maniera così incompetente, arrogante e disinteressata alla cura del cliente, partendo dal servizio offerto e terminato con la qualità del cibo davvero scadente.

Fabulous Lunch
I was veeeeeerry skeptical that this would work, particularly at a restaurant as hard to get into as Nobu Malibu, and it was perfect! We had lunch outside on the patio and it was fabulous!

Ok at this point I've attended a reservation purchased on AT by a friend and sold a reservation personally. Both worked pretty smoothly, nothing sketchy about it. A few areas for improvement including a way to more directly communicate between buyers and sellers, but the app always seems to be in development. AT customer support is really(!) responsive and helpful too if you have questions!

Whose name will my reservation be under when I arrive at the venue?
It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!

Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.
Where do the Reservations on AppointmentTrader come from?
Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.
What happens if my bid expires unanswered?
Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
