Mandarin Oriental, New York Reviews from The Last Year
Awesome Mandarin Oriental experience
The hotel is situated in one of the best locations in Manhattan with panoramic views over Central Park. The room was spectacular and you can find all the usual MO essentials especially their signature comfy bed. In addition the room is quiet despite being located in the heart of Manhattan. You could see that the hotel is well managed throughout with a clear attention to details. The staff is welcoming and very helpful. Congrats to the new GM and his team and thank you for making our stay very special. We will be back soon 🙏🏼
Exceptional stay, great service and extraordinary lobby
We felt very welcome and had an amazing weekend in your hotel. The staff was helpful and very attentive througout our stay. Your immediate attention and extra service is what seperate a good hotel from an extraordinary one! Thank you and see you again next time.
Favorite NYC hotel
Fantastic! Our favorite hotel in NY. New and big rooms compared to others in city. Beautiful view of Central Park. Service is fantastic. Super friendly staff. Very convenient location right next to park, shopping malls, great restaurants, pharmacy, target, sephora etc. Beautiful and serene lobby and restaurant overlooking park and city. I love that the hotel starts on the 35th floor. Feels more private and never feels crowded or hectic. The restaurant and bar have great food options and drinks. The pool and spa are very nice. Will definitely be back!
Birthday Stay
We stay at MO once a year together and it's always something we look forward to. This year we came for my husband's birthday and they surprised him with a dessert and champagne. Such a beautiful hotel and always a memorable time. We especially enjoyed the pool this time.
On top of the world
Phenomenal and amazing room on the 42nd floor Actually I was in a corner suite it was great in so many ways. There was a living room with a full dining table and amenities and floor to ceiling windows surrounding with views of the Hudson River in all direction. From the bedroom were more amazing views Freon multiple windows and I could see Central Park and the Hudson and great electronic shades so I could lay in bed and open and close. The bathroom was lovely with a window from the tub again views of Central Park. There was a hall way and small bathroom in the hall. Nice art and lovely welcome amenities fruit bowl etc thank you to the guest relations team and especially Andrew for your personal touch
Highly recommend staying at the Mandarin Oriental
My wife and I stayed 4 nights and had the most wonderful experience. The room was amazing with views over the Hudson River downtown. The staff were friendly and provided great advice on restaurants and places to see in and around the mid town area. Thank you so much to Hotel GM Marcel and Director of Guest Relations Andres for hosting us, just amazing!
Perfect family staycation
From check in to check out our stay was luxurious and perfect. Celebrating our daughters birthdays…Everyone made us feel special…Each staff member who greeted us or took care of us during our delicious afternoon tea and to the moment we got our car from valet. Can’t wait to stay here again and use the pool next time! The location was also so convenient with beautiful Central Park and shopping so close. It was definitely our family’s most memorable stay! Thank you
Disappointing experience in all aspects
Mandarin Oriental NY is a very old hotel. The lobby, the hallways, the rooms, all are in need of a pretty major overhaul (think dim lobby and halls, dusty light fixtures and spring mattresses). I realize many NYC hotels are in old buildings but we expected the Mandarin Oriental name to come with some semblance of luxury. Instead, the elevators opened to a 6-person line to check in at the desk with only one overworked receptionist and two empty chairs. When we finally checked in we were (incorrectly) told no upgrades were available, despite there being rooms online at the next tier up. We didn’t mention it initially since we figured the original room would be plenty nice. Also, my wife had been in contact with the concierge for weeks to arrange the room to acknowledge the special occasion we were celebrating. The room was wildly disappointing and no acknowledgment of our occasion was made. When we finally got through to the desk after a 10 minute hold on the phone, we were promised a callback but didn’t get one. So we called again 25 minutes later and they agreed to upgrade us and let us know when the room was ready. They never did, and instead I had to message them constantly until several hours after standard check-in time until they “prepared” the room, which was puzzling. At that point we just decided to cancel the entire booking and go elsewhere. Thankfully they obliged. The next day, the “Director of Rooms” reached out to us to apologize and arrange for a phone call, which was nice of him. When I responded to arrange a call, he ignored my email. A dated hotel is one thing, but we were really surprised and disappointed with the service at a Mandarin Oriental. We ultimately switched over to another hotel at the same price point that was exponentially more new, luxurious, friendly, and properly staffed to salvage our celebratory weekend.
Horrible unprofessional behavior
I am a MO member had a stay in May horrible experience with dishonest front desk agent and an extortionist security guy asking for money to get my luggage back. Be careful everyone! Also hotel over charged. Tried to get in touch with GM Marcel Thoma I’ve been ignored. Be aware everyone be careful
Wonderful stay
If you’re looking for a premium hotel experience near Central Park: this is the place to stay. The views from the park view suites are stunning. In-room dining menu could be improved; other hotels in this category are delivering much tastier/more interesting menus. Service was top-notch: interactions were elegant and refined. This really added to the luxury feeling of our stay. Bedding was very comfortable. Can’t beat the location! Would be thrilled to return next time we are in NYC.
***ALERT EVERYONE*** Be careful of this property Mandarin
***ALERT EVERYONE*** Be careful of this property Mandarin Hotel New York. I was treated disrespectful, made me feel i was a thief, they are still in possession of my luggage's, unless I pay the security manager $600 that's what he whispered in my ears.. I tried to get in touch with the GM Marcel Thoma he ignore my request. While I was waiting for my room to be ready front desk Dominican lady told me I could use the shower and spa and pool at not extra cost lying then they put me in a bathroom threading ne to call the cops because they wanted me to pay $600 for a room never checked in, SCAM SCAM SCAM BE CAREFUL HOTEL STAFF WILL TRY TO INTIMIDATE. I can't believe a hotel with a"high" reputation take advantage of people. Be careful everyone
Good Manhattan choice
Just a great hotel. Not pretentious, but good service & good food. Concierge recommended electric bikes through central Park which was "air conditioning" on a hot day and fun all at the same time. Windows of restaurant look out on lower Central Park - amazing view for cocktails or a meal. Housekeeping was impeccable. Will be back!
Home from home in New York
An excellent hotel and my home from home in New York. I have stayed there several times a year over many years. Concierge and Front Desk are excellent and very helpful. The hotel is scrupulously clean and the rooms are very well serviced and with great views over New York. Quiet and nicely understated . Food is good and healthy
It's just simply the best in NYC. The warmest welcome started from the bell boys who assisted me with the luggage, The reception colleagues were very professional and they briefed me about the hotel facilities upon arrival. The view in the room is awesome, room size is perfect and housekeeping did a great job, very neat and clean. Location wise, there is valet parking available as well as subway station nearby, very convenient in terms of transportation. Breakfast is excellent, you have the try their signature one named starts with “New York …” Special thank you to Mr Marcel, Mr Jeroen, and Mr. Polat, you made my day so memorable. It’s a super amazing stay with Mandarin Oriental New York, I highly recommend it to all travellers.
Perfect for a luxurious stay
We stayed at the Mandarin Oriental for a New York getaway. I was impressed. The location is ideal on top of The Shops at Columbus Circle. The service is excellent and the rooms while on the smaller side were comfortable, clean and well kept. The breakfast is notable and the views of Central Park from the restaurant are stunning.
Wow - what an experience! I was unfamiliar with Mandarin
Wow - what an experience! I was unfamiliar with Mandarin Oriental Lounge before I visited and anytime I've shared that I visited, I've been met with oooh's and aaah's! I imagine it's a lovely stay, but this review is solely for après dinner drinks. Located in the iconic Circle area and overviewing Central Park and the Manhattan skyline, the MO lounge is gorgeously designed with clean, curvy lines and ornamental fabrics and patterns. When we stepped off the elevator, we were immediately ushered in as a party of 5 and immediately seated at a table by the windows. Looking back, I think it was quite late and close to closing, so much thanks to the staff that obliged us. There was ample seating. A few of us ordered wines, another a cocktail, one an Irish coffee, myself a cocktail: Walk in the Park ($26), 5/5 - gin, tonic, botanicals, cucumber, elderflower - this was elegant and delicious, very light, floral, and refreshing thanks to the cucumber! Take a look at my photos for the gorgeous presentation. You are provided with salty, Asian-inspired crunchy snacks such as wasabi peas, and more, complimentary with your drinks. A special thank you to staff - our server informed us there were fireworks visible outside in a separate room, overlooking Central Park. That was so kind of our server and such a nice touch! I believe there was a film event in the Park, hence the fireworks. Thank you Mandarin Oriental! If I return to NYC, I will certainly come back.
The Best Luxury Hotel in New York City
Another spectacular visit to the amazing Mandarin Oriental New York City! I've been a frequent guest since they opened and wouldn't think about staying anywhere else. The moment I arrive I'm greeted and treated like family by the best Doormen in the City. The incomparable Guest Relations Manager, Andres, made sure my visit was one of the best ever. His attention to detail, positive energy, warmth and kindness made my stay very special. The Housekeeping staff, Front Desk personnel and Concierge Desk are without equal! The Reservations Manager, Ethel, alway makes sure my room and special requests are handled beyond my expectations. Before I discovered the Mandarin Oriental, I stayed at all the luxury hotels in New York City but none could even come close to the Mandarin NYC experience. I've been hooked ever since!
Underwhelming
In comparison to Milan and Dubai where I stayed earlier this year, there was no real comparison in all honesty, the overall service and quality in all areas was lacking. Apart from Sam the restaurant manager and one of the fitness centre staff,
Exceptional Service
We spent my husbands birthday at the Mandarin Oriental and we were pleased with the exceptional service. Yarisol, the front office supervisor, greeted us and ensured that we had everything from special accommodations to surprise deserts at every meal. She went above and beyond for us to experience a delightful stay. We received this high quality treatment from each staff person we encountered, which made the experience exceptional. The food was all delicious, from our first drinks, to the scallop dinner, to our in-room dining breakfast. The only reason I give a 9 and not a 10 is because the indoor pool wasn’t what we hoped it would be. Rather than being able to lounge around the pool and take in the views as we swam, the pool was filled with lap swimmers and enclosed in a small area which left little space for us to hang out as we had imagined. It would not have been an ideal pool for families with children or those looking to splash around for fun.
A Pleasant Place of Repose High Above the Din
This is a formal and proper hotel with professional service and super convenient access to Central Park. Because of its large size and high level of occupancy, it doesn’t have the same intimacy of some of the other Mandarin Oriental outposts. But what it lacks in personalized service, it makes up for in pep and polish. For example, despite the more relaxed sartorial standards of summer, the staff here sport full suit and tie uniforms. Even the Harvard Club of New York relaxes its dress code between Memorial and Labor Day, but not the Mandarin Oriental NYC! During my stay, the hotel was bustling with guests disgorged from or embarking on Regent Seven Seas cruises, an investor conference hosted by an Australian private equity firm, couples and larger groups celebrating anniversaries and birthdays, families with small children in tow and one day, inexplicably, the cast from “Moulin Rouge! The Musical” serenading during afternoon tea service. Suffice it to say, there is always a lot going on. Visitors come from all over the world. You’ll hear English and Mandarin in the elevators and hallways, of course, but also Arabic, Russian, Hindi, Dutch, German, Japanese -- you glean the gist: an international clientele. New York remains the epicenter of global finance, and this is also reflected in the hotel’s guests, but skew more financier than finance bro. These are the type of folks that Logan Roy of the show “Succession” would term, “Serious People.” There are also more artistic sorts hauling instruments great and small – I’m not sure I would entrust my Stradivarius to the friendly bell staff either – presumably ready to perform at the Jazz at Lincoln Center downstairs or David Geffen Hall up the street. Although the design and castaneous color palette are showing their two-decade tenure a bit, all public areas and guest rooms are immaculately maintained. Twice-per-day housekeeping is top notch. At under 400 square feet, standard rooms are on the small side for luxury hotels, but among the larger hotel rooms found in The Big Apple. Two people in a standard room is fine, albeit cozy, but more than that would be tight. One standout aspect is the quiet sanctuary the rooms provide. It isn’t so much that the occasional horn or siren doesn’t sound, it’s simply that they are so distant due to the prodigious elevation that they approach the absolute threshold of hearing. Much of the room real estate is allocated to the bathroom which features two doors to allow entrance and egress from each end. Coming from the west coast where we have just (fingers crossed) emerged from a two-decade mega drought, the shower is a point of wanton indulgence. Instead of the customary 1.8 gallon per minute flow-restricted mist in my home shower, the enormous rain shower head extending from the ceiling leverages gravity's pull and tremendous pressure to blast out cascading torrents of water in gallons and gallons of great gargling gushes. Combined with Diptyque Philoskyos bath products that are “a recollection of summer spent in Greece at Mont Pelion through a scented ramble and tribute to the entire fig tree,” the shower experience earns an A+. I’d stay here again for the shower alone. The only other place I’ve experienced that comes even close are the showers found in the Virgin Atlantic Arrivals Lounge at Heathrow. For hair drying aficionados, note that the hotel stocks a mixture of Andis, Conair and Ionic models. If your taste for your blow styling your tresses runs more Dyson or Neuro, you may wish to pack your own. In contrast to the splendid shower is the remarkably poor quality of the single-ply toilet paper. It’s more like what you might find in a rest stop on the New Jersey Turnpike vs. a celebrated hotel. Were the toilet one of the increasingly common whiz bang “smart” variety with integrated bidet and heating, cooling and fan functions, toilet paper quality would be but an afterthought. The toilets here, however, are simply old school porcelain thrones. I can only speculate the plumbing can’t handle the heft of Charmin or Kirkland Signature TP. Curiously, the toilet tissue stocked in the public bathrooms appears to be of superior quality. Go figure. In addition to the long tenure of the décor, there’s similarly long tenure and loyalty in the staff. This must indeed be an excellent place to work. One day, I was chatting with an attendant at the pool on the 36th floor who told me he had started with the hotel in 2007 and had been working at the pool for the last 15 years. What’s more, he noted his colleague staffing the (excellent) fitness center had been doing so for at least 15 years as well! Note: the fitness center hours are 6:00 AM – 8:00 PM Monday – Saturday and 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM Sunday. If you are up with the lark and want to use the facilities earlier, contact the front desk for access. Speaking of the pool, it ranges from 3 feet 6 inches to 4 feet deep, making it fine for vertiginous laps (or splashing about with kids – the hotel has noodles and other fun pool toys for younger guests) but not cannonballing. The home page of the Mandarin Oriental New York website, however, inexplicably features (at least as of this writing) a video clip of a woman diving into the pool betwixt two warnings chiseled into the pool wall that the water is only four feet deep and surrounded by signs and admonishments chiseled into the pool deck of “NO DIVING.” How the marketing department finessed this clip past legal and compliance is beyond me, but I sure hope any guests seeking to reenact this moment of self-actualization are true experts in surface dives or it could end very, very badly. In addition to the frequent “NO DIVING” signs, the fitness center sign in features a funny laminated card with depictions of permitted and forbidden workout attire. But this is not, as you might suspect, to enforce a certain level of modesty and decorum among fitfluencers. No, the center forbids working out in dungarees and flip flops. In all my visits to fitness centers in hotels and elsewhere, I have never seen anyone attempt to work out in blue jeans or slides. When I asked an staffer if this was really an issue, she simply said, “You would be surprised.” The fitness center also has a dry sauna available for guest use, but if you want to use the steam room, you’ll need to book a treatment in the spa. The MO Lounge on the 35th floor is tastefully designed with a boffo billionaire’s view of Central Park. I’m not a fan of the plastic plants, then again, no one is looking at the shrubbery, real or synthetic. The “Short Walk” mocktail is refreshing and selection of wines by the glass impressive. For breakfast, I recommend both the avocado bowl (basically a deconstructed avocado toast) and the shakshuka. But be forewarned: the cast iron caldron holding the delicious dish is heated to an extraordinary temperature. The chefs must store these on open flame or in the broiler until they are ready for use. Even after waiting five minutes, I still burnt the roof of my mouth. Luckily the fresh-squeezed grapefruit juice provided a quantum of solace. One morning, the guests at the table next to mine were joined by two uniformed members of New York’s Finest who were investigating the asportation of their $5,000+ bicycles by two teenagers. A cautionary reminder that even though Gotham has transformed from Fear City to one of the safest big cities in the US, vigilance never goes out of style. Like many things in NYC, being a bit assertive can yield dividends. I didn’t see coffee or tea service in my room, so one day I asked about it, just to make sure the kettle wasn’t tucked in a cabinet or drawer where I hadn’t looked. It wasn’t, but within minutes housekeeping furnished a Nespresso machine and pods along with tea service featuring half a dozen delicious teas that were replenished daily. I would have never received any of it had I not inquired. If you like in-room coffee and/or tea, speak up! If the weather is fair during your stay, be sure to take advantage of the “Bike the City” partnership between the hotel and Unlimited Biking to explore some of the 843 acres of Central Park. You need to be a member of “Fans of M.O.” (you can sign up on the spot) and walk ten minutes to 56 West 56th Street to pick up complimentary bike or e-bike rental. If that’s too much work, they’ll deliver the bikes to you for a hundred bucks. While you may or may not see Suri Cruise or other notable figures jogging among the 42 million people who visit this singular urban oasis each year, you’ll undoubtedly enjoy the 58 miles of winding paths, shade of more than 25,000 magnificent trees and best people watching in all of NYC.
Incredible NYC and Central Park
Our 3 night stay at Mandarin Oriental was flawless. From the comfortable rooms and well appointed bathroom, to the delicious breakfast and tables with Central Park view, it was lovely. You cannot beat the customer service and cordial manner of the staff that makes you feel so welcome. I highly recommend this hotel in NYC.
The location of this hotel is great.
The rooms are comfortable. The staff is awesome. The food is bland and extremely overpriced. The old saying is true here; "don't sleep in a restaurant or eat at a hotel".
For the price of this hotel, they have the rudest night
For the price of this hotel, they have the rudest night staff and doormen. We went to check out the fitness center and an employee approached us asking if we were guests. We said yes and asked what the hours were. Employee "Well, it depends on the season" Us " what are the hours this week" Employee "like I said, it depends on the season" WTF. We are not here to play 50 questions with the staff. Same with the doormen in the evenings. They won't even leave their post to open the doors for anyone or bother to call a cab or let anyone use the complimentary car (obviously sitting right in front of the hotel not being used. We know this because we've taken it before) The resturant staff and morning doormen were very nice though. Our experience here proved the 5star service is not consistent across the different hotel teams.
Great location, beautiful surrounding atmosphere, great
Great location, beautiful surrounding atmosphere, great staff. Most friendly and helpful receptionist and staff ever,
Nice spot to stop by for cocktails and appetizers.
They also have other food items, but that's all we come for. Oh yeah and the views!
Just got home from several days at the Mandarin and I
Just got home from several days at the Mandarin and I didn't want to leave!! The service was exceptional- personalized and attentive. The rooms are all above the 35th floor and have spectacular views of the city. The hotel is on the southwest corner of Central Park.
We came here to the MO lounge for lunch awhile ago.
We had a reservation which is recommended. We got a table by the window. Stunning views of Central Park and the city. Service was good. Food was delicious but small portions. Prices for some of the items were outrageous, you can easily get them elsewhere for way cheaper. I would come here just for the experience and drinks and snacks only. I would skip getting a meal here. Try one of the many other restaurants in the area.
Beautiful and clean (!) hotel.
The views are amazing. Very helpful hotel staff. I had requested one of our rooms to have two twins and got a king instead - still giving them 5 stars because overall was a great experience. Will definitely come back!
Came here for seasonal afternoon tea.
The view is amazing - only the tables that order afternoon tea get the perimeter against the windows! Decent cup of tea ~ English breakfast of course and Earl Grey. Random, but the shape of the teapots is not ergonomic at all, and it's nearly impossible to pour tea with one hand whilst not burning yourself LOL. So it's nice to have someone else pour the tea for you :) Scones - soooo buttery, flaky, and delicious. Top 10 scones I've ever had. I think they rotate the flavors of scones. Today we got the plain and raisin/cranberry(?) which come with Devonshire cream, lemon curd, and strawberry preserves. Even if you're a selective clotted cream girl, try all of the jams! Tea sandwiches - mini lobster roll with caviar was very cute and pretty good, the others were decent! Only the curry sandwich ended up being my least favorite. Desserts - the apple mousse was by far the favorite! The strawberry cheesecake came in second. But the chocolate chocolate was not great - too rich and sticky! Overall, loved the afternoon tea here - will be back! I hear they have a holiday menu updated soon!
The best dirty martini I have ever had! Had the avocado
The best dirty martini I have ever had! Had the avocado bowl for breakfast it was great and the cod for dinner was delish!
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED MO NYC exceeded all expectations I had
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED MO NYC exceeded all expectations I had for my weekend stay. In the past, I always stayed at the Four Seasons MidTown, but, since they were closed, I decided to try MO. I had previously stayed at the MO Miami and that was excellent, so I knew it would be a great choice, but MO NYC outshines the Miami location. I was greeted at the front desk with a warm smile and a welcoming feeling. My room was spacious, EXTREMELY CLEAN, and private. The bathtub added an element of luxury that made this trip OVER THE TOP AMAZING, especially since it was cold and rainy in the city. The room service was PERFECTION! Delicious breakfasts in the morning, and yummy snacks in the afternoon. The final element that made my stay even more amazing was Patricia. She booked a last minute car service to the airport for me. I will absolutely be back over and over anytime I'm visiting the city again!

Great Service - amazing dinner!!
Read about the site in NYT and bought a reservation at Mother Wolf in LA 2 days later. Worked great and the food was amazing!!!
Worked perfectly!
Got the reservation (that I couldn't get anywhere else) and was able to entertain a group of friends at the infamous Bern's Steakhouse.
Got into Nobu Malibu
Wonderful! My parents are visiting and we have wanted to go to Nobu Malibu for years. I tried getting a reservation myself but it was next to impossible. So glad I was able to buy a reservation on appointment trader for a decent price!
Very easy
Was very hesitant going into this experience but am glad to say that it worked out very well ! will definitely use appointment trader in the future
Fabulous Lunch
I was veeeeeerry skeptical that this would work, particularly at a restaurant as hard to get into as Nobu Malibu, and it was perfect! We had lunch outside on the patio and it was fabulous!
Great reviewer team
Just wanted to take a second to shout out the reviewer team. Even though they probably review hundreds of listings and bids a day, they still take the time to leave great comments and respond relatively quickly. Thanks!
Incredible
I got a reservation to Don Angie, which I've been trying to book for weeks! I am very happy with this service.
Best platform out there!
Super simple, easy, and fast to secure reservations for hard-to-get restaurants and locations!
This app is life changing
This app has opened my world up to so many wonderful new experiences I would never have the chance to have without access to this awesome app! 10/10!
Worked perfectly
Was a little nervous at first but was pleased to see that the booking went through flawlessly.
Highly recommended.
Success on Short Notice
Was able to snag an indoor table at Don Angie through an absolutely seamless worry-free process.
Worked perfectly, thank you!
This is a crazy holiday season in NYC and I was very pleasantly surprised to see that AppointmentTrader works! Will be using again!
Worked flawlessly!
Worked so well! I was a bit nervous, but everything went very smoothly. purchased the reservation, and got into the restaurant seamlessly.
Love this app!
So glad I came across this app :)
Quick table in Miami
I didn’t have my hopes high as it was a party of 4. In 24 hours I had a carbone reservation available! I was very happy as my family really wanted to come here
Prime time, great meal
So easy and had a prime time which I can never seem to get on normal res apps. So worth it
Got impossible NYC res
instead of waiting weeks I got my 4 charles reservation instantly
Worked perfectly to get into Carbone. So delighted
perfect
Worked well, got me into a restaurant with no availability
I was skeptical, and I still don't really know how they managed to find this hard-to-find reservation, but it was a win-win from my point of view, and I'll use this service again.
Last minute reservation for Delilah Las Vegas
Got a last minute reservation, dinner for 2 at Delilah Las Vegas: super impressed! The process was simple, transaction seamless. We had an amazing time! Couldn’t be happier! 😍
It works!
Ok at this point I've attended a reservation purchased on AT by a friend and sold a reservation personally. Both worked pretty smoothly, nothing sketchy about it. A few areas for improvement including a way to more directly communicate between buyers and sellers, but the app always seems to be in development. AT customer support is really(!) responsive and helpful too if you have questions!
Money transfer
As a seller, I like the fact i have the ability now to transfer money out of my AT account and into a bank account. Makes getting the money much easier then the process before.
Love this app
Got to go to places otherwise unreachable
Easy Access
Very easy to get into one of the hardest restaurants to reserve in New York.
Payouts Blocked Because of Sell Through Rate
Does anyone know how AT plans to handle cases where a seller is quitting the platform but has a sell through rate <25%? The error message I got said to fill more bids or find other ways to increase the rate.
Is AT really going to block sellers from withdrawing their money? Especially revenue made before the sell through rate was introduced??
Tune into NBC News - Top Story Tonight 7:40p ET
Let’s go. Get more people placing bids!
I will give you 50% of ALL of my PROFITS if you teach me how to make profits?
LOL. Thank you The New Yorker.
Appointment
Transferring reservations is not supported in AT. Why not just use the name in the AT screenshot?
Buyers interested in Bern's Steakhouse: PLEASE READ
Same goes for 4 Charles and I Sodi
Prepaid Reservation Fee
Agreed. Ultimately not addressing this month after month is clearly resulting in a drop in certain venue’s rankings & sales.
Congrats on 3 mil
🍾🍾🍾🍾🍾🍾🧨🧨🧨 now on to 30 mill!
Need to cancel a bid, not getting a response… how do I do it?
Click on "Take off the Market Option" in your portfolio
Working on your bid?
Your bid has been “matched” with a reservation. From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.
Process after bid is accepted.
Hey @EvocativeFold67, welcome to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.
Where do the Reservations on AppointmentTrader come from?
Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.
What happens if my bid expires unanswered?
Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
