Cipriani Las Vegas Reviews
I almost never leave restaurant reviews, but this
I almost never leave restaurant reviews, but this experience was SO FAR from what I anticipated that I cannot keep silent. I CAN say two positive things about this restaurant. The staff were pleasant, and the desserts were good. Beyond that, the experience was simply the WORST "fine dining" experience I've ever endured. To begin with, the ambient noise levels made enjoying the meal impossible. I watched the meter on my Apple Watch hover above 80 dB for almost the entire meal. When we were greeted at our table, the waiter who took our drink orders knew what single malt scotch whiskys were unavailable, but hadn't a clue what WERE, and there was no menu listing to guide him. We were provided a basket of breadsticks, sourdough, and focaccia. The latter was good, but the sourdough was stale. When my spouse asked if she could have a bit more focaccia, she was told they were "out" (this at 630 pm in a city that "never sleeps)." The provided olive oil for dipping was bitter, and there weren't enough bottles for the tables (waiters were constantly asking if they could take ours away). I ordered fusilli alla putanesca; what I was served was fettuccine! The noodles lacked any remnants of "al dente" status. One would think a "fine dining" Italian restaurant would at least know its species of dried semolina and how to prepare it! Beyond that, the red sauce was so undistinguished that it could easily have been sourced from a jar on isle 10 at Whole Foods. In the past two weeks we've had better (MUCH better) dishes at strip mall family restaurants in LV ((Roma and North Italia). My wife ordered a small dinner salad, for which we were charged $20, for something inferior to what we assemble from our refrigerator each night at home. The restaurant didn't waste any of its financial resources on printing its menus. Selections on offer were presented in very small point-size type, making them almost unreadable in the low-light conditions of the restaurant
My husband and I were really excited to try this restaurant
My husband and I were really excited to try this restaurant as we have always heard how good it is in New York but maybe the New York location is better? Typically chain restaurants are pretty consistent so I was disappointed after my experience here. I started with the steak tartare and had the scallops with rice pilaf as my entree. The steak tartare was flavorless and my scallops were overcooked and rubbery. The rice that accompanied my scallops were undercooked. The only things that were actually decent during my dinner there were the virgin peach bellini and the complimentary vanilla meringue cake they provided for my husband's birthday. I would certainly recommend this place for their cake but every other component of our meal was rather lackluster.
Stake Tartare was fantastic.
Great wine list and of course the service was outstanding.
Food was not good.
.. lacked flavor! Needed seasoning and color, food did not look appetizing ! Pizza was great ! Cocktails are served in a shot glass which is not to appealing. Food came at the same, no time for finish appetizers. Would not recommend ... stick with Sinatra's.
Met my bf for drinks after he met with a business client.
I wasn't expecting to really like this because it's in a casino but I'm delighted to say I was wrong. It is in the Wynn after all. I ordered my favorite drink and it was wonderful! My bf convinced me to stay for dinner and I'm glad I did. Although we didn't have a reservation, we managed to get a table in a prime location. My dinner was excellent! As mentioned, I have low expectations for casino restaurants because they are often overpriced and underwhelming. Cipriani was wonderful. Bring lots of cash though because this place is expensive. Excellent date night place.
Great service love the food.
Get the soup and cucumber salads Ambiance is chill. Nice location
Now, I waited some time before leaving a review, I wanted
Now, I waited some time before leaving a review, I wanted to reflect. Was this meal really as bad as I remember it to be? Lo, it was! I am remiss to report that no photographs were taken at this dinner as what happens in Vegas will truly stay in Vegas & I will never waiver from this ultimate truth. Cipriani however, was such a disappointment, that I felt a divine calling to advise my fellow yelpers of the culinary experience that is cipriani. Ambiance was great, I can start there. Gorgeous restaurant from what I could recall, showed up a little drunk from the morning but a pool party is a pool party and my honey let me out the house for one weekend - you bet your bottom dollar i was drinking like a FISH! Usually stalls my libido but the misses was at home. Now, back to cipriani - I ordered quite the array of food. Blue cheese gnocchi, cucumber corn salad, and a margarita pizza! It was one miss after another. The only thing keeping this place from getting a one star review is our waiter. He was attentive and pretended that the food he was serving was actually palatable! All this man needs to do is go a bit further out west and he might just land himself an Oscar! Anyways, nothing special. Book a reservation elsewhere and make sure you show up so you don't walk into this aesthetically pleasing but culinary dump.
This is a tough one for me because I was looking forward to
This is a tough one for me because I was looking forward to eating at the iconic Cipriani for a long time and when I was planning my recent trip to Vegas I knew this had to be in my plans so I booked a dinner reservation well in advance of my trip. On arrival, we were greeted at the door. It was still pretty quiet and we were taken to our table. Immediately we were met by our server- whose energy was noticeably cold. Our drink orders were taken - which btw - mandatory bellini!! Being the inventor of the bellini you HAVE to order this drink- it doesn't disappoint. This was about the time when it was clear that the tone we had sensed was confirmed. Our server was replaced by someone else- who seemed much more friendly, but things began to feel rushed and I suspect this was because they realized we were not intending to order an expensive bottle of champagne or wine for the table. Regardless, we decided to just enjoy our meal and not be bothered by any sense of pretentious attitude. We ordered pasta; a simple spaghetti with rose, and spaghetti with tuna. If I'm being honest my pasta was a little more than al dente, but tasted good. We also ordered a margarita pizza - delicious. For dessert we had the amazing vanilla meringue cake- if you haven't tried this, you just gotta! It's dreamy. Overall, a very expensive meal- but this goes without saying. It's expected and you go for the fantastic meal- not to be concerned about the bill. The thing that disappointed me was the attitude we felt from the serving staff. It kind of soured our excitement and for this reason I probably won't return to Cipriani Las Vegas - but I will go to the New York location when I'm in town.
Food here is always solid.
Had lunch today and service was good. But every time we go, the floors and chairs make the worst noise. Screeching every time someone moves on the floor. The waiters shoes squeak as well and it makes the ambiance not great. Not sure if it's the shine they put on the floors, but it's getting to the point we may not go back. And it's one of our favorite spots. Hopefully someone can do something about it.
Order the gnocchi.
DO NOT order the dark chocolate "gelato." There...I just enhanced your dining experience :) After a wonderful show at the Wynn, we wanted to eat somewhere close by, so we chose Cipriani. The reservations were wide open online, but we still had to wait when we got there. The decor and ambiance were nice, and the gnocchi was very good. It was made with something else besides potatoes, but it had a nice consistency. The pizza was also very good if you like spice. Everything was going well, until dessert. Las Vegas has been heading down in tourism as people feel "ripped off" when they gamble on the strip, with the new payouts on table games. Ordering dessert at Cipriani felt the same way. Of course, the waiter tries to have you order more stuff, but for an Italian restaurant, they should know the difference between gelato and mousse. Their dark chocolate gelato is really a mousse. It tasted okay, but when you are expecting gelato, you don't want to be given a mousse and be told that it is a gelato. Of course, the waiter was not Italian, so... I guess this is the Las Vegas vibe now...leave feeling gypped :(
Good not fabulous
Very nice restaurant, good service Food is average , not up to standard of cipriani They hurry you up to rotate de table They em want to get you out in an hour Ordered a vegetarian spaghetti, salmon tartar and a salad
NOT QUITE UP TO STANDARD
This is an upmarket expensive Italian restaurant. The property is very well fitted out and a pleasure to visit. However there are aspects of our visit which were not great. One of the problems was the staff. The servers were hovering the whole time. Trying to take away plates whilst we were still eating and not really paying attention to us. They seemed just anxious to get us in and out. This is in contrast to what should have been a relaxing evening with good food and expensive wine. They did however get the expensive bit right. The food was well presented and prepared but just not right. I had anchovies which looked as if they were just out of the can, swirling in oil and served without garnish. It usual to have anchovies served with a contrasting citrus taste in Italian cuisine. There was no effort here or perhaps the chef had a limited knowledge. My tuna steak was cooked properly but again came on a bare plate. It would not have taken much to make it look good. It was meant to have been served with heirloom tomatoes but instead I received a bowl of mixed chopped up tomatoes. These points were symptomatic of the meal which should have been great but instead was a disappointment.
A real Italian would be simultaneously embarrassed and disgusted to eat there.
In the past, we had an excellent experience at Cipriani in Vegas. Good food. Experienced team (Dario) that had exceeded expectations. Not this time. Our waiter was disingenuous at best, and treated us like naive patrons there for the namesake only. The heirloom tomato salad was inedible-refrigerated and mealy tomatoes several days past what may have been their prime. The salmon sashimi had sold out, the waiter recommended the tuna tartare, served in a refrigerated lump with nothing to eat it with. Spoonfuls of bland tuna. Perhaps we would have asked them to bring us bread but that too, had been stale and literally like something you would use for bread crumbs...maybe. The branzino was served on its own with a side of broccolini that lacked any seasoning. The pesto tagliatini was a small afterthought served after the fish (not before) and was something that I would expect at say, Olive Garden, not an authentic Italian restaurant. Then we asked for a dessert recommendation, and we were brought an enormous bowl of soft serve ice cream and the meringue cake-both were good but the presentation was food court style for very hungry hippos. The worst part? The waiter told us to tip him in cash because of the new tax law. Overall a very pedestrian experience and I left feeling like I was just another sucker that thought it would be good because of the name. Save yourself a lot of money and go elsewhere where the name is not the only thing you are paying to receive.
Not worth it.
Ugh, I should have taken the advice of other reviewers/Yelpers and steered clear of this place. The food was bland, tasteless, mediocre. Itโs a glorified Olive Garden (OG is probably better) dishes tasted microwaved, just zero flavor. We will pay to eat well, we had Pisces last night (very good) and love Allegro (it was booked up till late, because itโs so good) but when we pay $400+ for two and leave with icky tummies because of hospital tasting food, Iโm actually POโd. The tiny chair and tables on the hard department store floor donโt help. Itโs trying to be something it absolutely is not and thatโs high end. Itโs very commercial, food tastes like itโs all Sysco.
Great service and lovely bday cake
We have been to the original cipriani in Venice Italy which sounds bratty I realize..so a Vegas mall Shop Restaurant cannot compare ..the Cindy Crawford pictures In the restaurant and the Tiffany blue packaging, classy atmosphere and white coat service were all on point. Carpaccio , velvety emulsified balsamic ..even the veal..lovely. I flung the green lobster ravioli to be ok. Not as wonderful As it shouldโve been. Maybe if I had the sun shining over the Venetian water at me or a NYC view it wouldโve tasted better ? There is great dining in Las Vegas -really great..itโs a reason to come..this wasnโt amazing unfortunately. .
Cipriani OK
We were late to the game and decided to take a last minute trip to see the Eagles at the Sphere so did not have a lot of time to plan. Our concierge was able to get us seats at the Cipriani at the last minute and we were excited to get them. The decor is lovely and we liked our waiter who was smiling and efficient but the food is just ok at best. We all tried various items: the carpaccio, artichoke Parmesan salad, calamari, the pasta with bolognese, fishโฆ..all were edible but nothing noteworthyโฆโฆEXCEPT for the vanilla gelato at the end which was delicious! It is a nice setting but decent food.
Unacceptable Behavior from Cipriani Manager
I was at Cipriani when it was nearly empty. As the caretaker of young children, I found Roberto Cavallero, the manager, to be incredibly rude. If he had an issue with our presence, he shouldn't have seated us in the first place. His behavior does not reflect well on Cipriani.

Located in the Wynn.
The restaurant is pretty small and tight. The table was low and uncomfortable especially for my older mother. The food was nothing special with the exception of the tagliardi alla bolognese which was full of flavor! Overall, they left more to be desired.
From the staff, the presentation and the food.
Everything was TOP TIER! My mom and I were closing Vegas for the week and now she can't stop talking about how she wants to go back! A Cipriani is needed in Chicago!

Went there last night, me and my partner ordered pasta with lobster, was the worst pasta of my life. Lobster was bad quality and pasta wasn't cooked all the way. Staff was so so. No one come to check on us in while. Not sure how on the strip the have very bellow average food and personal. For Italian food that's bad
Drooly face.
In all of my dining I'm not sure why I never realized that part of the fun of the ritzy places, is the people watching. I love assuming everyone's stories. But that's not the reason I opened with "drooly face" That, was because of the food here. Kept it light (for me /for Italian) The bread is nice, good balsamic & evoo The buratta, made me wish there were a gigantic sized one I could snow angel in. Or mud wrestle. Soooo good. They do it right And then the gnocchi guirdi? Guardi * ? Was the money shot. Any questions?
Maybe just go to the stylish bar - food not great
The decor and vibe are pleasant and, as the restaurant is located in the upscale shopping area of the Wynn/Encore complex, it's a relatively calm and quiet space. The service is good with that Italian-waiter style. The food, sadly, is a disappointment. Early evening and they already did not have our first two (not seasonal, quite standard) pasta choices. The asparagus risotto was soupy and extremely greasy, could not eat more than a few spoonfuls. Eggplant parmigiana - we've had better from the supermarket freezer section. But whatever you do, don't let them talk you into the meringue. Just go home and spoon yourself 10,000 calories directly from your sugar bowl. I mean, sometimes a dessert is so good that it's worth it. This one is literally just like eating straight out sugar.
Love this place! ROBERTO if you see this you're the fucking
Love this place! ROBERTO if you see this you're the fucking man. Consistently take my clients here for work. Authentic Italian food with fresh flavors. The gnocchi was light and delicate! Cucumber salad out of this fucking world and don't even get me started on the meat sauce or pizza to die for! Be sure to finish off with some of the Italian ice
When I tell you that this is the top 3 Italian restaurants
When I tell you that this is the top 3 Italian restaurants I have been to I truly mean it, this is under places in Italy. Everything about the food and the ambiance and the cocktails is unforgettable! I recommend the eggplant fusilli, and for appetizer I would go with the buratta ! Although, hard to make a reservation, the service was on point! 5/5 stars
Every bite last night was amazing! We have a group of 20
Every bite last night was amazing! We have a group of 20 plus people and we were given a wonderful service.
We had a wonderful meal here last night.
Don't know why this restaurant gets so many negative reviews. The service was welcoming and attentive. All our food was top notch, with generous portions. Artichokes alla Romana, heirloom tomato salad, tagliolini with pesto, and lamb chops. The atmosphere was clubby and relaxing. Highly recommended.
ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS and DEliCIOUS
Grazie mile Ricardo......Muchas Gracias Eduardo...... We had a wonderful dinner with my husband, the service, the food , the atmosphere , we asked for a cosy table, and we had a wonderful one , One word 'JUST PERFECT', thank you so much , we have been many times to Cipriani and we will go back for sure soon.
Service is excellent.
Food delicious I would definitely return. The best I have tried on the west coast.
Good, but far from excellent. Bueno, pero lejos de ser excelente
Pleasant atmosphere, good food, excessively expensive wine list, poor staff attention: one employee seemed like he was new in the job or not happy with his job because he never smiled or made a nice comment to the client. The other worker, a veteran, named Vincenzo, more than 70% of the time he served us the wine (very expensive) spilled several drops outside the glass onto the tablecloth. Regrettable.
Not worth the price
I was looking for a nice dinner. It wasn't bad but it wasn't good. Service was suffocating so many people buzzing around as if they couldn't wait to turn your table. No relaxing meal. Vegas has gotten so expense and this restaurant shares in that category. $21 for a tomato salad that was bland and needed salt. No flavour in the tomotoes at all. Scallops were well cooked and not chewy but the sauce drowned them out, too much lemon and presentation was ok. For what this restaurant charges, I won't be going back, plus I want to relax over dinner not feel like I'm being pushed out the door.
Must Visit in Vegas!
The only thing I can really say about Cipriani at the Wynn is you need to go there. Dinner started with one of the best martinis I have ever had while the kids enjoyed some top notch Virgin Bellinis. The salads we ordered were delicious and the bolognese could have fed a small army. The salmon was equally as large and delicious. And finally, the service was unbelievable. Just go there!
Shocking!!
Absolutely dreadful. Had a special anniversary dinner booked here at 9pm on a Saturday night. Excited as we received comms before hand saying to arrive promptly and a dress code would be in place. We like that, so looking forward to it. Arrived to a car crash. About 30 people outside waiting for tables, and asked to wait at the bar while they got our table ready. No seats as loads waiting there too, so stood for 25 minutes. Asked Maitreโ D what was going on and says we are still working on your table . I had to insist on a wait time to be told โwell over an hour from nowโ. What a shambles and appalling way to run a supposedly high end venue. An embarrassment to the Wynn and Iโd never return here.
Decent experience; Not great
Cipriani is good. But given its location in the Wynn Hotel, surrounded by high end shops, I would have expected much better. No complaints about price, as we are more than willing to pay the high price for a fine experience. But this is not. The restaurant is visually attractive with a clean, somewhat austere, modern design. We arrived precisely at the time of our dinner reservation and were seated immediately at our table. The chairs, though attractive, were uncomfortably low. These would have been ok for a cocktail lounge where one can lean back comfortably, but not at a dinner table. I had the veal piccatine and my wife had the filet. Both were good but nothing that we couldnt get at the neighborhood Italian restaurant near our home. Service was ok. Overall it was a good, but very average dining experience.
So a visit to famous Ciprani in the Wynn Las Vegas never
So a visit to famous Ciprani in the Wynn Las Vegas never disappoints. For a quiet little lunch or full blown dinner it's a little bit of Italy. In fact you'll feel like you're on your own 200 foot yacht. Go live a little. Nautical theme not overdone. Very tasteful down to the content video of the sea in the "powder rooms" details folks - they matter. Everyone is Italian or it seems. I've been to Italy countless times and the friendliness of the people is so great and I find the same here-- always trying to please. It helps to have an accent too! So stopped in for a favorite- the Carpaccio , a simple pizza and a great red wine. What's not to like. The Carpaccio was Devine - just thinly sliced filet mignon with a light sauce dripped over the top. Light horseradish? Can't remember. Oops. I loved it. The pizza had the thin crust of an authentic Naples pizza - loaded with pure mozzarella with basil leaves mostly underneath - a true slightly black crust on edges and you ate teleported to Italy, this is not Pizza Hut. Thankfully. White tablecloth of course servers in "white" aprons giant smiles. Frankly I couldn't ask for more. Go. Enjoy. Mange.
Disappointing Birthday Celebration group of 12
We were celebrating a milestone Birthday and this was a highly anticipated part of our weekend together. None of us had ever dined here but it was highly recommended. There were 6 couples and I understand, we were a big group, but the first waiter we had was trying to press us into ordering apps and entrees that we would all share and practically wanted to argue with us about how we wanted to order appetizers to share and individual entrees. I am not sure, but it appeared we were handed off to another waiter because we did not see him again. As we were being seated, someone was asked if we wanted flat or sparkling water- someone in our party said flat and the water was being poured the minute we sat down. I love water but donโt want to pay $10/bottle and get blindsided when the bill comes. Even once we all had ordered other beverages, one of the servers kept pouring the water and somehow we racked up 12 bottles in 2 hours($120)!!! The appetizers we ordered were good but I do agree with one previous review- the Calamari was salty and very dry. Unimpressed. Our entrees had a very weak visual/sensory presentation. Most of us ordered a pasta dish- almost all of them were barely hotter than room temp. And we all agreed they were under-seasoned. Lacking and flavor other than salt. My husband had the tuna steak-med rare. Apparently they do not sear it- they did cook it on the outside, but it was a grayish color. The inside was nice and red but my husband said he had to salt and pepper it to have some seasoning. My tagliolini was too salty and the cheese on top was dry/crusty barely warmer than room temp. I would say dessert was the highlight, a delicious white vanilla cake with beautiful meringue, toasted perfectly. The restaurant was very loud and crowded. Not a great space for a large group like ours. In general, we were disappointed and will not return or recommend. Sorry I donโt have more positive things to say.
Food was as good as Denny's maybe worse.
What happened to Cipriani?? Unfortunately, nothing was good.
Great service, average food
Weโve visited Cipriani multiple times in different cities and were excited to try out the Vegas restaurant. Sadly, we left disappointed in the quality of the food. The meals were bland and not up to high quality Italian expectations. In addition, the ambiance of the restaurant is lacking. It is located in the middle of the mall, they did very little inside to mask the fact that we were eating in a shopping center. Our one bright spot was the service, we had great service during our meal. If you want authentic Italian, there are better options in Vegas.
Really enjoyed my meal here.
Start with a great margarita pizza and some misto fritto , the misto was just ok and probably would not get again. Then I had the genovese pasta and I am very picky about how it's cooked and this was perfect al dente. We finish with the vanilla meringue cake and it was delicious. Our waiter was great and really took care of us. I would recommend Cipriani for a nice Italian meal.
Located within the shops at the Wynn.
My buddy and I ended up coming here after his shift was over. He recommended to different type of food that they had offered. It was definitely more of an upscale experience. Which I guess is something that you would expect being in the Wynn. Cipriani, has locations worldwide. The food and overall experience was exceptional.
The Bellinis here were so tiny.
Lol. I've never seen a Bellini served in such a short glass. The tuna tartare was very fresh tuna, but I like it more when this dish has a layer of avocado on it. Some people at a nearby table (or the restaurant, I'm not sure) sent my friend and I a complimentary double shot of mezcal and a Tom Collins so it made up for their signature tiny Bellini that tasted like a mock tail-- so we were happy. The pastas were very good! We got the pesto and the rigatoni with veal ragu. The portions were excellent because we had leftovers and I love that. The service here was amazing I will say. The ambience was nice too. For dessert, we got the vanilla meringue cake and it was the BEST thing here imo. Definitely some of the best vanilla cake I've had, and I'd definitely come back here when I'm in Vegas just for that.
Awful.
The restaurant claims they did not receive the order until I called when I saw that it was not going to get delivered until over an hour after I had scheduled for it to be delivered. I placed the order 24 before I needed it, anticipating that the restaurant would be busy. I called and the manager was extremely rude and took no accountability for their mistake. The food that I received was horrible. Tasteless and was obviously thrown together last minute. What a waste of money and time!!! I will never visit this place again.
I read a previous review that said this place should be
I read a previous review that said this place should be embarrassed to be called Italian food, among other terrible reviews, yet I felt the need to try it for myself... I wish I would have trusted my fellow yelpers on this one. I had the Rigatoni Veal Ragu - the pasta tasted like it was from a box & Far too "al dente" The fusilli was limp, like it had been served from a buffet line at an all you can eat truck stop. The final insult was the price. Who lied to this establishment? What makes them think that their plates command the prices? Take it from me & the other dissatisfied patrons in these reviews - eat somewhere else. Anywhere else!
we just came back from a great lunch at cipriani.
very nice service from all employees, tasty food don't miss the vanilla ice cream we would like to visit again. we will highly recommend!!
Always simply amazing the food and service is amazing
Always simply amazing the food and service is amazing always:) ambiance so nice they pay attention to detail for sure
underwhelmed.
Average food and service. Expected a lot more for Las Vegas. I can get this level of food and service at my local restaurants back home. Does not rise to the hype. Ambience was good and white table cloths were a nice touch. Service staff felt like that they wanted to rotate our table and wanted us to leave, even though we were only there a little over an hour. Took 15 minutes before they took our drink order after we were seated.
Ugh!
There were four of us who very much looked forward to our dining experience At this supposedly out of body dining experience. What a huge disappointment! The seared? Sea scallops were swimming in so much caper sauce that I needed a soup soon. My friends penne eggplant pasta was oily and salty. My husbands calf liver was shredded to a point of looking like a Philadelphia cheese steak. The appetizers were a joke. Rubbery calamari and soggy shrimp. Dessert was hideous! The chef insulted the word tiramisu. Instead of raise me up the broke it down!! Disgraceful!!
Gone significantly downhill - Cost cutting rears its ugly head
Visiting Cipriani had previously been a weekly tradition for us - but unfortunately, the restaurant has gone significantly downhill, and isn't worthy of the price. The Cipriani Pizza, once the finest I have ever experienced, has become painfully mediocre. All 4 were overcooked and cold, whilst it is clear they have cut the cost of ingredients significantly - the mozzarella was obviously frozen, and the sauce was tasteless. Definitely not worth the $180 we paid. We also found the service to be very cold, and unwelcoming. A drastic change from our previous experiences. Definitely not worth visiting - there's far better elsewhere.
Never again
Terrible dinner, they should learn what tradition is. They do not know the difference between Italian dishes mixing up ingredients. They serve very expensive wine without using an appropriate wine glass but just a glass for water. Incredible. They justify themselves by saying this is the Cipriani style, but what style is it? Arrogant staff except for a few nice Italians. Never again
Absurd Reservation Policy
They have a $50 per person penalty if you don't cancel a reservation five days in advance. Absurd. Go somewhere else!
