Never again.
Food reminds me of my Elementary school cafeteria back in the day. Too expensive and lousy atmosphere.
Be the first to ReplyPlace is amazing.
Parents live near. Been a staple for years. Great to go and packed exceptional.
Be the first to ReplyThis is one of my top fav pizza places to eat in.
Very cute atmosphere and the staff has always been professional and kind. Highly recommend if you're in the area.
Be the first to ReplyThe service and food were amazing.
The staff also seated my large family even though they were about to close for the day. I honestly did not expect to be welcomed, but everyone was so accommodating. The food was top notch. The staff was so understanding. And if I had no idea, I would have thought we made reservations months in advance. You all treated us like family and you made a customer for life. Words can't express how thankful my family and I are to you all. I can't wait to come back when we are in town again. And I promise it will be well before the last hour. Thanks again!!!

It was somewhat confusing to order as it was cafeteria style, and it indeed made me feel as if I was back in school because I felt rushed and had no chance to really glance at the menu. It was after lunch hours and only one other diner sitting at time. Getting our order took quite a while, even for freshly cooked food. The owner, I would assume, was sitting there and asked if I needed anything when she saw me glancing around for the wait staff. Bread basket brought a few minutes before meal, and it was burned. The food was fine, nothing outstanding, and portions normal. What bothered me and will not have me return is a charge for using a credit card to pay. This would not have been an issue if we had been informed of it. Seems tacky.
Be the first to ReplyI was very happy walking in here.
You could definitely tell they had very good upkeep and really cared about creating an experience for you. Right away it was not very packed and it was quiet which for me is perfect. I knew going in here it was going to be Authentic, which is what I was looking forward to the most and my goodness it did not disappoint! From the beginning with the garlic bread to the cheese bread bruschetta, the appetizers were absolutely on fire! I will recommend if you are planning to have pizza or pasta. Be careful with the appetizers because we made the mistake and absolutely, we're way too full to even have barely any of our actual entrées the staff was very friendly. Unfortunately, they just was a very low shortage of them but that didn't take away from anything and they were still very nice and doing their absolute best. Everything we had was absolutely on fire and completely delicious. I just wish I wouldn't have filled myself up so much on the cheesy bread lol 1000% will be coming back here and enjoying more of their dishes!

Be the first to ReplyHad a great dinner.
After a long week for me, still on a Wednesday, came in and found some good carbs and even a better welcome and service by Aketia and Genaro. It's so nice coming into a local business and finding people who are welcoming and kind with a smile on their face
Be the first to ReplyThe atmosphere was cozy.
The service was great. We ordered the fried lasagna bites and Bruschetta AI Pomodoro as an appetizer my oldest, absolutely loved the fried lasagna bite. My wife and I loved the Buschetta it was different and fun and at the same time you felt like you ate something very fresh and clean. We also ordered meet pizza. The crust was excellent along with the sauce. Really good tasting pizza my youngest devoured it. Overall service was great. All the items we ordered were very tasty. Our family will definitely be coming back to try more things on the menu.

Location/Parking: This restaurant is located off Huebner in the Church Hill Estates shopping center. There are lots of parking in the parking lot. Food/Price: They offer complimentary bread as you glance the menu. We ordered the fried lasagna bites ($15), bruschetta al pomodoro and a meat lover's pizza. Everything we ordered was delicious! We loved the bruschetta al pomodoro the most! It was a generous portion for $8. I would recommend checking them out for lunch to try a variety since they offer a lunch buffet for $12.99. Service: Service was great on a slow Sunday. We were seated within the first five minutes of arrival. Food was hot and served within 15 minutes. Ambiance: The restaurant felt homey with family pictures on the wall. There are ingredients and wine all over the restaurant. Overall, we will be back to try other pizzas and have their delicious bruschetta al pomodoro again.
Be the first to ReplyIf you're craving a good steak, the Ribeye here is the best
If you're craving a good steak, the Ribeye here is the best I've had in the area. Tasted better than any steakhouse Ribeye. I usually like mine plain with salt and pepper but this was served with a glaze and a sort of dripping sauce on the side. I couldn't help dip every bite into the sauce. Steak was juicy and tender in the center with a light crisp on the outside. Delicious!
Be the first to ReplyFirst time visiting since seeing it on IG.
The food was amazing and Marcos service was excellent. The ambiance was so nice and cozy. It's all decorated for Christmas! See photos for food choices. Also not pictured was the kids spaghetti with meatball. Everything was 10/10
Be the first to ReplyGreat Food, Price & servings are plentiful.
.. The servers are attentive & happy to accommodate your requests.
Be the first to ReplyNothing special and too much for bland fair.
Skip this place, there's better Italian in SA
Be the first to ReplyWas amazingly good.
Saw the owner/chef working like a mad man. I got tired just watching him. We tried a Chicago deep dish and a New York style pizza....AMAZING!!! Great service. Very attentive.

i went for the first time today & i loved it!! i got chicken parmesan, my bf got chicken alfredo & we got cheesy garlic bread. the cheesy garlic bread was probably the best! the staff is very friendly. we got there pretty early around 11:50 & we were the only ones there. also not very expensive at all. i'm really happy i tried it
Be the first to ReplyI wanted a pepperoni and spinach calzone.
But the lady said the spinach roll was the same. Unfortunately there was no pepperoni in the roll. My daughter had cheese ravioli. She only ate one. She said it lacked flavor. Overall we were not happy with our meals. Good service, friendly
Be the first to ReplyMy new go to pizza place.
That margarita pizza was one of the best pizzas I've ever had and the service there was great really nice guy at the front.
Be the first to ReplyChicken piccata, Penne vodka and eggplant were delicious.
Highly recommend. The staff was friendly and helpful. Dining room and bathroom were clean. Also the salad with walnuts and berries was super yummy!
Be the first to ReplyI haven't been to that many strictly Italian restaurants
I haven't been to that many strictly Italian restaurants here in San Antonio, but I can say this place was great.I recently heard (by word of mouth and Instagram) of this place and wanted to check it out. This location was not far off from Phil Hardberger Park and we decided to swing by after. Luckily, we got there just before the Friday night dinner rush and were seated right away. The ambiance reminded me of restaurants in Italy, down to the employees eating their meals in the dining area (while they were on break, of course). I did not catch our server's name and didn't think to ask again because I assumed it would be on the receipt. It wasn't and I regret not asking because he was AWESOME. The receipt only says "server: front".I had the shrimp po po, my wife had the spaghetti allo scoglio, and our daughter had a kids spaghetti with meat balls. The food was plated 5/5 for all three of us. As far as my shrimp po po, it came perfectly al dente spaghetti with lemon butter sauce, garlic, and olive oil, which tasted excellent. The shrimp were large, but the batter seemed to have been old, or maybe I waited too long to eat. Either way, I was stuffed and loved my meal, and especially loved our service. He was very attentive, but not to the point where he was intrusive.
Be the first to ReplyThis place has the full potential to get five stars.
However, the only factor blocking me giving them five stars is the fact that they are not equipped to accommodate large parties sufficiently during lunch time. (I specify lunch because, they might be better during dinner, I hear during dinner they take orders at the tables. During lunch they have you come up in a line fashion and put your order in) There was 13 of us ordering for a family birthday dinner. Three of the orders were "missed" and came out way later which out a damper on the celebration especially since one of the late dishes was the birthday girls. They ran out of forks at the front and took a while to refill them. However, the staff was very nice and that definitely earned them the 4 and not 3 star rating. Secondly, the serving sizes are small for the prices. However, you're getting a great quality meal so to me it was worth it. Now for the food: I usually don't care for lobster. However this was cooked to perfection! The tortellini is as outstanding. The BEST thing by far on the menu was the cheesecake, you HAVE to try it. Even if you take it home for later GET IT! Thanks me later. The lunch portions are kind of small. So if you're hungry don't waste money just order the dinner, the quality is great anyway so no big deal. Order an extant meatball or two with the spaghetti it only comes with one.
Be the first to ReplyThe food tasted fine, except I got a touch of food
The food tasted fine, except I got a touch of food poisoning after eating the chicken parmesan. The service was nonexistent, but maybe that was because it was lunchtime? I do know the place was not crowded at all, so it would have been nice to be checked on. Note: this is a cafeteria-style establishment, but someone does bring you your food after you order it. I ordered a to-go spaghetti to take home after my meal. They portioned it as soon as I ordered my meal and left it on the counter (not under a heat source) the entire time I was there.
