Good Experience
Don't know what everyone is complaining about. The waitstaff (Dodger in our case), both front of the room hosts, and the bartender all were very friendly and competent. From some of these other reviews I thought we were in for mediocre, overpriced food with inattentive staff and lousy drinks and joked to my guests, before we arrived, that at least it would be cute and cozy. Prices have gone up at restaurants, across the board. I thought the menu offered a nice selection of dishes and the duck entree and the cavatelli were well received at our table. The oysters were great, though only one option. We went early and it was comfortable and relatively quiet. Enjoy yourself.

I love to leave great reviews. However, it's just not possible for this restaurant. We were in town for thanksgiving holiday and very excited about our reservations. The lighting and ambience are great. The servers were friendly. Yet, the service was actively bad and the food was very mediocre. ( Bread service arrived after our first course and our cocktails arrived after the first course... wine was served after 20 minutes of ordering with empty cocktail glasses). Honestly, I love quirky and quality - but this was just poor- at a very premium price. New York has amazing options.. this is not one of them.

Two of us went and won't be going back. The hostess could not be less interested in showing us to our table and asked one of the servers to take us and he said no, awkward. The service wasn't horrible, it was nonexistent. Had to have repeated asks for anything we needed, never came to check on the meal. $150 plus tip (not big) for two appetizers, two drinks, two entrees, and one side. Food was okay, not special. Seems like some have had a great experience, but it wasn't ours.

Always a favourite before covid, I couldn’t wait to go to Tiny’s again when I was in New York this time. It didn’t disappoint. Great service, awesome food and really nice cocktails. Highly recommend the meatballs and the tater tots! Really great to know this place is still going strong.

While the meal was great and the ambiance was wonderful, my credit card numbers were stolen by the staff at the restaurant and used later at an establishment in the city. I was visiting for the day and this was the only time it was used while in NYC. I called and expressed this to the staff. I was told it would be taken seriously by the staff.
The manager called me back and could not have been more rude. He denied any culpability by his staff and did not offer any goodwill for what had occurred. This is entirely unprofessional. I will never recommend this restaurant after such a response from the manager. There was zero understanding for the situation and this shows they do not care about their customers.
bar atmosphere with cross over dining experience
Very cozy and intimate place but packed with people, if that makes any sense at all. The ambiance is crowded, somewhat noisy, but not too loud that you cannot carry on a conversation. It is probably advisable to check with wait staff regarding on menu items as, pending on what you order, the service can be slow. You will likely more than occupied by all the people around you. Foods are good, just a bit pricy. It is a cross over between bar and a restaurant.

We had a wonderful family reunion brunch at Tiny’s. Cousins, I had not seen for decades, came into the city for our visit. I needed to find something simple, with an easy menu, nothing too precious. I’m the most pretentious individual in our extended family, and I am well aware of my dilettante tendency. Tiny’s was/is perfect for everyone, short or tall.
I began at the bar upstairs, served by Carlos, who started my day out right, making me his version of a Harvey Wallbanger.
Carlos was very welcoming and aided in relieving my nerves. Brunch was served downstairs, Diana was very charming, helping to find a table that would fit our needs. She was well organized, efficient, and fun. Jenna was our friendly and warm server, and gave us great advice. Matzoh Ball soup and the Chicken and Waffles were our favorites, but the hamburgers were wonderful too. It was a perfect meal and a wonderful reunion. Tiny’s helped us renew a family connection after decades of absence. I will always be indebted to Tiny’s and the Bar Upstairs and Carlos, Diana, and Jenna. Thank you.
Delicious cozy meal!
We had a great meal; Salmon with Lentils and chicken with a delicious sauce/broth. We ate downstairs near the fireplace, which was lovely on a cold February night. The tart with Blueberries and a bottle of Pinot Noir topped off a lovely evening!

Good food, decent prices not overly priced and very friendly service
great fireplace on 1st floor if you can snag a table there
Do not book here. Management sells itself to the highest bidder, cancels on diners last minute.
Well in advance I made a booking for 4 people for a celebration dinner at Tiny’s.
Only a day beforehand, I received a e-cancellation notice saying my reservation was canceled, the restaurant was booked for a private event that evening. Incredulous that a restaurant would have so little regard for its customers, I called them asked what the real story was — expecting to hear that someone caught Covid, or something serious had happened to the chef. But no. They got a better offer and simply dumped their reserved customers.
It did not matter to them that this was to have been a special celebration for one of my guests, that I jhad ust flown in from Florida, and another two were arriving from Washington. Nor did they care that it is nearly impossible to get an alternate table at a decent restaurant on a weekend with such short notice. It was simply too late in the game for a service business to so cavalierly ruin other people’s plans. I’ll certainly NEVER return!
Amazing brunch in Tribeca
I had heard about Tiny’s through a few of my classmates, and decided to find out whether or not the place is deserving of its hype. I wasn’t disappointed! The Eggs Benedict was probably one of the best renditions I’ve had at brunch, and the tater tots were out of this world! The outdoor seating is very pleasant, and the indoor dining area is full of charm as well. I’m definitely looking forward to coming back for more brunches!

The service is great. Gerardo spectacular server.
We ordered the burguers $27 plus tax each. Really good. The eggs and pancakes too.
Cold night? cozy wood-burning fireplace in the back
We arrived for lunch today, the place is indeed TINY! Had avocado & salmon toast, a lobster taco special and their homemade tater tots with chives. Food very good, surprisingly good actually for the rickety rustic atmosphere, but go for the good. Good french pinot noir by the glass too
Be the first to ReplyCozy, romantic bar with good food
We went there for an evening drink and the place didn't disappointed at all, despite the fact that it is super tiny - as the name suggests. Actually I'd say it is cozy, charming and romantic. We had the mussels and it was the best we ever had in NY. Good wine list and great service. Off- hours reservations will grant you extra points on open table.

I found this place from a YouTube video of someone who lives in NYC checking it all the small hidden places to have a wonderful cocktail. We were waiting to go elsewhere so we headed in relatively early. Although I saw the wonderful fireplace, I asked if we could go upstairs and they said, “He should be open now”. There was no one up there and he was just setting up the bar. While having a lovely conversation with the bartender, we looked over the drink menu. There are a lot of interesting drinks. I got Kissed by a Rose and it was delicious. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his drinks as well.
This place is all done in hip antique pieces with appropriate mood lighting. This is a wonderful little bar. Yes, the prices are very high but that tends to go with NY and craft cocktails. We were happy to hear that there are no ‘domestic’ beers here. That is a good thing if you are looking for a nice craft cocktail experience. If someone in your party needs a domestic, the bartender is happy to give you suggestions given what they have.
During our second drink, this place started picking up in patrons so we moved along. But this is definitely a place to stop if you are in the area!
