Sophisticated and Fun
We stayed earlier this month for my birthday. The most beautiful hotel in the Disneyland Resort by far. Located directly across the street from Disney's California Adventure with the best views of the theme park and firework display. The property is elegantly designed and furnished. The grounds are meticulously maintained. Our room was spacious and clean. The RISE Rooftop Bar had amazing views of park and city. Flemings Steakhouse was delicious. But the best of all about our stay was the friendly team of employees.

DO NOT PAY EXTRA FOR THE ROOM WITH A VIEW . Its a total bate and switch. Attached are two pictures One is the picture they show on the website the other is what we got.
Be the first to ReplyFabulous stay, they get it right every time !
This hotel is fantastic and it’s the people the make the difference. Ivan at the front desk and William in the lounge are the reasons that I stay here so often. They go above and beyond to make sure that I have everything that I need. They both take customer service to the next level and it’s the reason I am so loyal to Marriott! Well done team keep up the great work ! Bill
Be the first to ReplyHard to fault
We found the service okay but nothing special (like other reviews). However everything else was faultless. The rooms are spacious and immaculate with beautiful toiletries, robes and the beds super comfortable. The lobby and lounge area is super nice and inviting. Walkable to Disneyland (20 mins). One of the best hotel gyms I have used. Definitely recommend.
Be the first to Reply5 Star Resort at Disneyland
This is probably the best hotel resort in the Disneyland area. Once on the the property you feel like you are at a 5 star resort. The pool area, the restaurants, it's all a step above all the other Good Neighbor Hotels. The walk to and from the Westin down S. Disneyland Drive is also very quiet, and safe. The hotel room was amazing were in a suite with a view of Disney California Adventure. The Suite is huge with 1.5 bath, a living room and dining area. The Suite also has a huge separate bedroom, huge bathroom with a large soaking tub, his and her separate closets, and balcony with views of the park. I am so glad we booked this hotel, and this will be our #1 choice for our next yearly Disneyland vacation.
Be the first to ReplyGreat Couples Getaway at the Westin Anaheim Resort
Had a great stay at the Westin Anaheim Resort. Loved the beautiful rooms with a view, wonderful ambiance, delicious food and drinks, and welcoming and gracious staff, especially Shucuri and Dominic. Highly recommend this resort hotel.👍
Be the first to ReplyKen Shrout, Director of Guest Services is a GEM, Hotel is excellent!
I previously wrote a not so flattering 2 star review due to one employee, Penny. I still stand by my opinion that she was rude and dismissive but everyone has a bad day once in a while. Since my review, Ken Shrout, Director of Guest Services called and responded. He did a wonderful job listening, understanding, simply apologizing, and asking us to try them again. He assured me that they valued customer service and will make things better. I believe him and would recommend this hotel due to his wonderful customer service. As stated in my original review, the hotel, restaurant, cleanliness, and location are excellent. My family and I plan to return to The Westin Anaheim Resort the next time we visit Disneyland. Thank you for responding and addressing our concerns. 5 stars for customer service by Ken Shrout
Be the first to ReplyAmazing experience at the Westin Anaheim
I have stayed at the Westin Anaheim 15 times since its opening almost 3 years ago. It's my go to hotel when visiting Disneyland or the OC. William greeted me at the front desk and also in the morning at the Westin Club. Always remembers my name and makes me feel like a special guest! His customer service, as with the entire staff, is always extraordinary!
Be the first to ReplyStill my favorite hotel while at Disney, but the stay wasn't as great.
We love this hotel. This is the 2nd time we've stayed here, and white it's still my hotel of choice, it is starting to show some wear and tear. The deluxe view (we paid extra for) was looking across the hotel at more balconies. Couldn't see the fireworks or the park, so that was disappointing. Also, very noisy being in the front of the hotel. The front desk and housekeeping crew are still awesome!
Be the first to ReplyThanks Louie
Have been to this property over 10 times I think and we still love it. Louie had assisted us at check in, welcomed us back explained the hotel amenities pointed us to the right direction. We had an awesome room, thanks Louie! Absolutely worth staying especially if you are a bonvoy member with marriott. Keep up the good work everywhere in the hotel!

My 9-year old daughter and I traveled to Anaheim for her school spring break at Disneyland. As a business traveler, I stay in many nice/upscale hotels throughout the year. This place is stunning!! Location is excellent... Rooms are spacious... Grounds are well kept... Very clean... ALL staff is exceptional-- from the front desk check in (Cyrus) to the Westin Lounge hosts (William and Evelyn) and cleaning staff too. Professional, helpful and friendly! Highly recommended.
Be the first to ReplyErik in Food Service
Recently visited for a business trip and Erik in food service was AMAZING. Very friendly, professional and attentive to our groups needs. This was representative of all the staff at the Westin, but Erik certainly made the trip a step mabove others.

First time at this property due to the accessibility to Disneyland. Can't say enough good things about the cleanliness and the staff. WIlliam at the lounge took the time to walk us through and get to know us on a personal level which made the experience even better. Between the valet, bell service, and front desk staff we had an overall excellent experience and will definitely be back.
Be the first to ReplyGreat staff!
The overall stay was great. We were in town visiting Disneyland. The location was a roughly 15 to 20 minute walk to Downtown Disney. The room was clean, large, and we had a direct view of California Adventure park! The best part of the stay was the staff, especially William in the concierge lounge. He greeted us by name and with a smile each day. He was a real pleasure!
Be the first to ReplyFantastic Valet + Hotel (Easy Access to Disney Parks too)
Rudy and his valet team are TRULY the best. None of the anxiety about “Valet” happens at all! They are so sweet and accommodating and helpful!! They basisally helped with whatever was needed. This is one of my favorite places to stay ever!
Be the first to ReplyExceptional Stay
Beautiful hotel and exceptional service from everyone we interacted with. A special appreciation for Nilanlia and Alice in the Westin Lounge. Room was modern, very well kept, stylishly designed with nice small touches. Bars and restaurants all great. Will return.
Be the first to ReplyWilliam the great!
I had an issue checking in and William stepped right in and took care of it right away. He even walked me to my room to make sure I wouldn’t have further issues. I had the pleasure of seeing him every morning in the Westin Club. His service was exceptional. He made the challenge of checking in seem meaningless and changed the course of my experience during my stay. I hope to see him when I return for business on my next stay.
Be the first to ReplyBeautiful and extremely well designed
I rarely write hotel reviews but this Westin exceeded my expectations. The rooms are gorgeous, roomy, luxurious and very comfortable. The staff match the excellence of the property. Highly recommend staying here.
Be the first to ReplyMost luxurious option for a Disneyland stay
This was a great hotel to stay at. They honored my Marriott gold status and we got a room with a park view which we all enjoyed. The room is clean, bright and comfortable. We enjoyed the shower and the hot tub by the pool. It’s close to Fleming and Puesto which were good dining options. The chat feature was convenient. My only advice is to bring eye covers if you need a dark room since the light in the hallway mirror stays on. It work like a night light but it was too bright for me. Maintenance came and covers it with tape for us which worked well. Definitely the best choice for a stay at Disneyland. A little farther but only a $10 Uber ride away. We will definitely stay here again if we come back to Disney.
Be the first to ReplyDisappointing
I intended to submit this as a review on Marriot’s website, but never received a request to review my stay so I’m placing it here instead … I don't usually write reviews, but I feel like this hotel deserves one. We just returned from a stay at the Westin Anaheim resort. We usually stay at the Courtyard Anaheim Theme Park Entrance, but decided to try something new with the Westin. Not the best choice. The rate was decent (actually cheaper than the courtyard for this visit) and the hotel was nice, but there were so many problems I will go back to Courtyard or look elsewhere next time. The first issue was check in, we requested an early check in and were told that anytime before noon it was a $75 charge - we checked in at 11. $75 for an extra hour is highway robbery, especially since the room was clean and sitting empty anyway. As a Marriott rewards customer, I have never had an issue with early check in if my room was available, so this was a bad start. Next, the room. Everything was great at first. Nice and clean, beautiful theme park view, good a/c, they even delivered a microwave for us while we were out. But then it was time to try go to sleep... after a long day of traveling and a day at the parks, we were exhausted, but it was so unbelievably loud from all the road noise it was nearly impossible to fall asleep and stay asleep. We had to run sound machines on all 4 of our phones and cover our heads with pillows to drown out the cars and get any sleep. And then there's the little lights - lights everywhere - flashing lights on the smoke detectors, a small light on the mirror that can't be turned off, - and they're all super bright led style lights - if you like it completely dark when you sleep, prepare to get creative covering up little lights. The beds are also not super comfortable, they have a very thick pillow top, that is a little too soft for my liking. The shower was also an issue, not nearly enough water pressure and not user friendly at all. It took forever to figure out how to get the water to come out of the right places and how to get the tub to drain - nobody wants to stand in water while they take a shower. The real kicker is, they send text messages, throughout your stay, asking how things are - this is how I requested the microwave on day 1. However, when asked on day 2 how my stay was going on a scale of 0-10, I gave them a 5 (which was truthfully generous after the awful first night with little to no sleep) - they responded that someone would be in touch with me to address my concerns. Never happened. Not once did anyone reach out after that text. Not surprising that I never received a request to leave a review about my stay. We made do, but it was definitely not up to Marriott standards. Truly disappointing for such a nice looking new hotel. Also, I did submit this review on the questions and concerns Marriott’s website as a concern and the only response I got was, we’ll let our team know your feedback so they can use it as a learning experience.
Be the first to ReplyBest Westin Ever
I have stayed at a lot of Westin’s in many locations, that being said this might be my favorite! The employees were some of the friendliest and most accommodating workers I've encountered in any establishment, especially gladys. They truly made my special needs son’s weekend visit incredible
Be the first to ReplyBest accidental trip ever!
Booked this hotel for our trip to Disneyland. We ended up canceling our trip but forgot to cancel our hotel room and figured we’d make it a fun family overnight. I was hesitant since we only live about 45 minutes away. We all ended up having the best time ever! Our family travels a lot and we stay in lots of hotels. This was by far one of the best hotel experiences we’ve ever had. The hotel itself is just beautiful, but the customer service was top notch. Drew at the front desk was so friendly and welcoming. Our kids (10&11) went nuts when we walked into our room. We had the most amazing view from our balcony. We had originally planned to walk around downtown Disney for dessert but quickly changed our minds and decided to order in room service and enjoy the Disney fireworks from the comfort of our room. Rafael delivered our yummy desserts just in time for the show! Our time here was so relaxing. We’ve also never slept better. The beds were so comfortable and we all slept like babies. I will be recommending this hotel to everyone who will be visiting Anaheim in the future. We will definitely be back again soon!

The Disney hotels could take a lesson from this property in what real, genuine hospitality is. This hotel is truly the best in Anaheim! Every team member I encountered was welcoming, happy and couldn’t do enough to make sure guests were taken care of. Sammie from the concierge team in particular is a rock star. She went above and beyond and was able to get me a very hard to get dining reservation. The rooms also here are great! Stunning design while still being very comfortable and the views cant be beat! I cant wait to return!

The hotel is the cleanest i have seen in all of ca. The highlight of the stay was MR William from the Westin club. He went above and beyond in welcoming us and he remembered my name 3 weeks later when i came back for another stay. Mr William is an asset to this establishment and is the perfect example of how to treat customers.
Be the first to ReplyOur Go To Hotel For Disneyland
The Westin Anaheim Resort is a luxurious retreat from the long days at Disneyland. It’s about a 15 min walk to the monorail station in Downtown Disney. The monorail brings you right into Tomorrowland in Disneyland Park. If we are going to California Adventure Park, we walk up Disneyland Drive and enter through the Grand Californian. The Westin Lounge is top notch. William at the lounge makes you feel very welcomed and I think we keep returning to this hotel just to enjoy his hospitality. He is highly attentive and makes sure we have all we need. He’s definitely one of the highlights of Westin’s concierge service. There is a breakfast and evening hor d’oeuvres (4-6pm). Our family likes to take a break from the park and come back in the afternoon to enjoy a snack before heading back to the park to finish off the night. If you can get a room with a park view, it’s amazing. It took our breathe away the first time we saw it, but it delights us every trip.
