Awful food!
We arrived a little early for our reservation and we're asked to loiter until called for, no waiting area or bar. Our party was called around 10 minutes after our booked time, they seemed to prioritise larger parties and we had heard another family query this with the host. The menu was fairly large and sounded appealing. The food arrived quickly after ordering. The chicken wings were incredibly dry, almost inedible. I couldn't raise any concerns with our server as she didn't bother to check in with us at any point after taking our order except to clear the plates. I had ordered a salad and the ingredients were nice and fresh, but the chef seemed to think they needed a litre of the vinaigrette dressing, again almost inedible. Didn't stick around for dessert. The table next to us actually approached us to strike up s conversation about how bad it was. The only good thing we're the characters, they were really friendly and stopped by every table for a chat
Be the first to ReplyGreat Lunch great atmosphere
The avocado bruschetta is amazing. We had 2 (non-alcoholic) iced-teas and bruschetta and pork belly sliders. We loved the experience (and especially the bruschetta!) . We scheduled to return the following Friday for dinner with our husbands so they could enjoy the atmosphere and experience what we had already seen. I would definitely recommend reserving a table, it made the wait a lot less stressful and we were seated within 10 minutes of our arrival. Thank you
Be the first to ReplyGo for photos but go elsewhere for a milkshake
I went for a milkshake after seeing other people post photos. They are really beautiful. But the quality is awful. The chocolate was inedible (tasted like chocolate from DollarTree), the whipped cream wasn't real cream but a synthetic tasting topping, the ice cream sandwich was poor, and the actual milkshake, while sweet and cold, wasn't creamy. Such a disappointment. You do get to keep the plastic glass but at $18 a pop it is definitely not worth it. Even if they were $5, I’d skip it. Chic-fil-A’s milkshakes are 10x better. Even McD’s are better.
Be the first to ReplyNot bad
Not bad. Ate about 3:30 pm and had the quiche and salad which was good. The venue was pretty cool with a chocolate factory them but not really my interests.
Be the first to ReplyGreat cocktails and food!
I always go to the bar for food and drinks before I start my day at the parks. All the bartenders are amazing and provide such great service. Peyton, Barbie, Austin, Reese, and Jordan. I know I'm missing some others! Jordan made me a drink once that he said would be on the menu for spring. It was delicious and I need that recipe! It should also be on the menu all year round. My vote for the name is Jacques Tai! Don't ever change or tweak that recipe! The food here is also great. Lots of options from pub to fine dining selections. See you all in April!

The outside billboard said soups and salads so we were keen to try as this was our first day after our transatlantic flight and we were trying to adjust to the time difference with a light lunch but nothing prepared us for the morsels we got. I give you margarita flatbread and French onion soup - tomato paste and cheese on saltine crackers $13.95 and the tiniest bowl of soup - $9.95.
Be the first to ReplyFamily Fun, Amazing Affordable food and Friendly staff
Best food on universal property & most reasonably priced. Great staff & fun atmosphere. Our server Mel was awesome. Dessert is a MUST. Even is you split just one!

Booked this months in advance. Was pretty busy at the time and the check in process isn’t much fun but once seated, staff were great, good options were good and milkshakes were awesome. Definitely worth trying at least once.

I was hesitant to book as it does have mixed reviews. We had a 4:45 reservation on a Sunday night and was able to get in within 5 minutes of our time. The atmosphere is very delightful and fun. . We were waited on very quickly. Our server was very attentive and friendly. The food was very good. I had the Ruben which was delicious. My husband had the Cobb salad which was very good. Large portions. Our friends also had very good meals. We did not go for milkshakes as that was not our main objective. Overall, we were very pleased with the food and service. We would go back.

If you are going to see the attraction here then do yourself a favor walk around a bit be in awe of the amazing building but do yourself and your wallet a favor and eat somewhere else. Totally uninspiring when it comes to just about anything on the menu that we all ordered. Just plain drab but I guess if they have a captive audience then this is where you end up, food for the masses. If this place had to stand alone without the attraction it would close in a month. Was at least looking forward to dessert but at $17 for a scoop of ice cream and a sad banana the whipped cream just couldn’t bail this flop of an effort out. My suggestion, hop in an Uber and enjoy one of the many world class restaurants Orlando has to offer. You’ll be rewarded with great service creative and skillfully prepared food worth your time and investment.

Dont bother. We got their milkshakes. What is advertised as an entire piece of cake on top of a milkshake is a load of crap. We got a tiny square stuffed in whip cream to conceal the fact that there was no whole piece of cake there. Under all the whip cream is a jar half full of melted milk and nothing else. We got two of these and they were both the same. Rip off! Also if you are over 6 in your party, dont go. They know that they will automatically get a 20% tip and dont have to work for it so they will ignore you and not even bring you a refill. The food isnt worth the price and the service is awful.
Be the first to ReplySo worth it!
Make a reservation! Totally worth it! We went for lunch and enjoyed everything , especially the service. Our server Benjamin was super attentive and kind. I loved the feeling that you don’t get rushed, you can truly enjoy the experience
Be the first to ReplyThere are much better places
Did it once, and won't go back. It was a pretty boring place once you were seated. I ordered the meatloaf, which was ok. I did enjoy the mashed potatoes and gravy...it has fried onion in it, which was a plus. My husband ordered the steak which was way overdone and cold. He said it was hard to chew. All in all, not a place I'd go to again when there are much better places to eat at in CityWalk.
Be the first to ReplyVery cool
My son and I liked our food. My husband was very disappointed is his. The stream punk theming was very cool. There’s a gift shop area with different treats to buy.
Be the first to ReplySplurge to have the shakes
Our children splurged our last night to have one of the fancy shakes which are more like cake and ice cream. They are quite fancy and are a combo of either cake/cookie, mousse, and ice cream.

Fun theming and gift shop. Food is decent. Smallish portion sizes. Over the top milkshakes and desserts are always fun.
Be the first to ReplyGreat Milk Shakes
Got a really good meal here. The food was good, the service was very good even though we were part of a large party. The dessert menu is fantastic. It is a little pricey, Milk Shakes are $12 or more.
Be the first to ReplyBest to walk on by
We ordered burgers medium and they were all very well done and one was partially burnt. The bun on one was stale. The fries were decent. We also got one of their fancy shakes that most get because they’re so instagrammable. They’re $16 a piece. I would say they’re average. I saw so many on the tables they were cleaning with hardly any consumed. The restaurant itself is interesting and kind of cute with windows overlooking the lake, yet they seated us in a back room. My server was very good. All in all, I would not go back and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.
Be the first to ReplySweet Tooth
We chose Toothsome as our lunch spot during our Universal VIP tour. The place is great! Very thematic with a steampunk vibe.
SERVICE
The service was great. Our waiter was very friendly and recommended items on the menu to give us the best bang for the buck.
FOOD
We tried a miniscule portion of the whole menu so we’re not super qualified to give an exhaustive review here, but what we did have was very good. The french onion soup, the flat bread, crepes.
What we didn’t have were the specialty milkshakes. These are enormous shakes in large mason jars topped off with pieces of cake. These are basically like 3000 calorie beasts and one is enough to satiate multiple people. It’s damn near illegal how big they are. I assume they are good since a lot of people ordered them while we were there.
CHARACTERS
There are even workers in full on steampunk costumes walking around and interacting with guests which is a lot of fun.
CONCLUSION
I would recommend you stop by for lunch because the food, service and characters give this place a good vibe.
Not worth the hype
First issue was reservations. We arrived at 6pm for our 6:15 reservations. The women could not find them in her system. I showed her the several emails and txt I received about confirming. She stated 3rd party apps sometimes give them issues. I cannot help that the apps they use to book apps do not work. I went up about 15 mins later asking how much longer, she stated they are running 20 mins behind. I hear the person behind her state to another guest that she is still working through the 6:30 reservations. I pointed out that I had 6:15 which she ignored. Go up another 10 mins later sane answer. Then I go to the other person who stated she was working through the reservations. And asked about where we were. She gave me the same answer, then I showed once again all my confirmation and she stated the other person did not tell me that. They stand one whole foot apart from each other. 15 mins later site down. Asked to see a manager. Explained what happened, he was great. Got us bread right away and stated our food will be expedited so we don’t lose any more time in the park. When I sat down I felt something sharp hit my had. Ignored it. The I looked at my hand. I was bleeding. Waiter was right there and saw my hand. I asking for a band aid while I go to the bathroom to see what happened. Thank god it was not bad. Come out if bathroom everyone is standing waiting on a new table. Wait another another 7 mins. Once again we move to another table. First aid comes fill out firms get band aid. Manager comes over to tell me he found a broken marble and cleaned it up for next guest. Which they did. I watched them. He tells me he is going to get out food out as soon he can. Long story short we don’t eat until 8:00. Mind you reservations were at 6:15. Waitress asked us to put dessert order in early since they are behind. We do and that still does not come out for another 1/2 hour. I got the apple pie with ice cream. What I could eat was good, but ice cream was melted by the time it was out in front of me. Summary: the person checking in - thumbs down, manager and wait staff thumbs up. Kitchen and cleaning staff thumbs down. Food - not worth the money. While food was ok, but I will give the chocolate bread a big thumbs up. The kitchen needs to get their act together this is the busy season and they will be behind. If they cannot handle the crowds due to short staff then don’t fill up the restaurant. Overall just skip this one
Be the first to ReplyExcellent food, service and atmosphere
We booked a reservation ahead of time-strongly encouraged as people were being turned away when we got there. We went May 6, 2022. Very busy, That did not hinder service or food. We were seated within 5 min of check in. We ordered the chocolate bread (AWESOME-never thought I would like chocolate with bread) Beef shortrib (WOW-fork tender, flavorful and great cheddar grits) and the Chicken bourguinon (tender, blast of flavor). Also, we chose to get the shakes at the end of the meal for dessert and then walked back to hotel with them-good idea! Key lime and Choc X5. Awesome!
Be the first to ReplyFun but long waits for food
Had 7:15 reservation, got seated around 7:35, fun environment and lots of chocolate choices, good dinner choices but took long time to get appetizers and long time to get food, we didn’t get out till close to 10. Clean restaurant and bathroom
Be the first to ReplyAmazing experience
I went here with my family and we tried to get a seat and they were on a 3 week waiting list so we waited for the bar and we got 4 seats and our bartender was amazing! I had a bacon burger and it was the best burger I had ever had!
Be the first to ReplyWaited forever for 2 desserts.
It took over an hour to get 1 shake and 1 sundae. We had reservations at 9:30 and it was 11:00 by the time we were done there. I understand the place is popular and busy, but that amount of time for 2 desserts was not worth it.
Be the first to ReplyFood was better than the shake
I went there for the shake menu and we liked the food better than the shake, 2 of ours came out melted. No I didn't tell the waiter we were there 2 hours and waiting any longer wasn't an option. To be fair the kids shakes were good and still cold. Had reservations and still had to wait, the waiter was top notch the host was a bit rude, but he was mobbed with people so I understand.
