A special destination and a very special team of professionals
The St. Regis Europa is one of the best managed, superbly staffed, and well-appointed properties in this part of the world. The team worked together to make our stay very special and the follow-up by management was second to none. Our room was spectacular, the service attentive and the staff some of the most caring and professional we have ever encountered. We have nothing but thanks for them as they helped us, once again, create wonderful memories of our visit to Venice!
Be the first to ReplyAbsolutely stunning!!
What a fabulous hotel!!! Originally the Grand Hotel Britannia dating to 1895, the inaugural year of the Venice Biennale, it is made up of 5 connecting palazzi. The most recent renovation was in 2022. Everything about this hotel is stunning, from the grand Murano chandelier in the lobby, to the artwork throughout the hotel. Even though it has 130 guestrooms and 39 suites, it has a very intimate feeling. This begins with checking in at the reception and later, throughout our stay, being referred to by name by many of the people working here. As a Marriott Ambassador Elite member, we were very fortunate to have our rooms upgraded with Suite Night Awards to 2 incredible suites facing directly onto the Grand Canal. Gio's served a bountiful breakfast buffet. We also often enjoyed its terrace in the afternoon or late evening for a drink and small bites. The views were captivating causing hours to fly by. The Arts Bar was also a cozy delight in the evening, especially since we were there during Venice Cocktail Week and Venice Fashion Week. My husband used the gym and had a massage at the spa while we were there. He spoke highly about both. My son and I were transported by the hotel to the island of Murano to tour the Berengo Studio. It was definitely worth the trip! The location was an easy walk to Piazza San Marco, and the Ponte di Rialto as well as shopping along the Calle Larga XXII Marzo and Salizada S. Moise. We organized our transportation with Blitz Exclusive through the hotel. We did not have much luggage, so frankly this wasn't necessary. In the future, we will just go to the Water Taxi area on the ground floor of the airport and arrange our own. They are the same taxis that Blitz uses. As a wine lover, I have to say I will always treasure the memory of participating in The Sabrage Ritual. Thank you to Marc and Giusepe! We are looking forward to returning to the St. Regis Venice this upcoming December to experience the holidays in this magical city. I hope to see many of the friends we made there!
Be the first to ReplyExcellent Hotel in a Great Location
My view of this hotel may be colored by the fact that it was our first visit to Venice--which we loved--and we had a room with a stunning panoramic view of the grand canal. But the hotel offers more than a gorgeous setting--the staff is generally excellent. The bar staff was especially outstanding, as was housekeeping. With one exception, the concierge staff was helpful and pleasant to deal with. The location of the hotel cannot be beat--close to everything, but tucked away on a side street. We are already planning a return to Venice and the St. Regis is where we will stay.

From exiting the train station to our water taxi was a great experience to the hotel. The check in lady Andi was very friendly and professional along with Fabio, the bellman and our concierge Giorgio he made sure everything was perfect for our 2 night stay was very helpful with any questions we had for him. The rooms were stocked with everything you needed from your head to your toes and the beds were extremely comfortable.
Be the first to ReplyBest hotel in Venice
Probably the best hotel in Venice right now. It's an island and most of the hotels are smaller and get a lot of traffic. The location is ideal - close to everything with the restaurant and boat launch right on the canal. Rooms are well appointed and comfortable, food and service are excellent morning, noon, and night. My only small complaint is that the concierge desk is so jaded that they can barely tolerate guests, so perhaps try to hide the obvious disdain for the guests or get into another line of work. Still a small point and I'll return.

From the moment we stepped into the St. Regis Venice, we were treated to top-notch service and hospitality. The location was stunning, with picturesque views of Veniceโs canals. The property is luxurious with unique decor. Our room was perfect, and we were touched by the thoughtful anniversary surpriseโa bottle of Prosecco and balloons. Breakfast was delicious, with a wonderful view just like our balcony. A shoutout to Davide for the warm welcome at check-in. Thank you, St. Regis Venice, for an unforgettable experience. Weโll definitely be back!
Be the first to ReplyOld world charm in the best Venice location.
I felt like royalty getting off the boat at the St. Regis dock and entering the most upscale hotel. We were offered drinks while waiting to check in, and lovely Roberta helped us obtain an upgrade as loyal Bonvoy members and the partial canal room with a view of the Grand Canal was breathtaking. We were pleased to receive complimentary breakfast as well for our one night stay - which was decadent in a room overlooking the Grand Canal. The rooms were perfection, with the a shower that can only be described as the prettiest and best I have ever used. There are so many amenities in the room, and Aqua de Parma products. Mariacristina was assigned as our butler, she is just the sweetest woman and helpful with all our needs. This hotel is located in the best shopping area and location in Venice. It has old world charm with funky and unique artwork all over, which was fun to see. I absolutely loved our stay here and will highly recommend it to my friends and future travelers to Venice.

The experience at St. Regis Venice is nothing short of magical. The staff are the best that I have ever encountered and every detail was perfectly orchestrated. From arriving, to check in, the concierge, the Gio bar staff and through to departure, each person not only made us feel special but went out of their way to make our time in Venice amazing. We will most definitely be back and highly recommended staying in this beautiful hotel.

Super beautiful hotel right on the Grand Canal, very conveniently located with a 4 minute walk to St. Mark Square. Employees are all very kind and helpful. Food was good. Had breakfast and dinner. Rooms are nicely decorated and the bed was very comfortable. Great hotel!
Be the first to ReplyLuxury and location in Venice
Wasn't sure which of the luxury hotels to pick on this trip but were very very happy with the St Regis. The location was perfect - a few minutes from St. Marks Square but super quiet and secluded. The view of the Grand Canal at breakfast is so special. The staff were beyond helpful with everything - arranging transport, restaurant reservations, etc. The rooms were very elegant and brand new. The butler service was fast with any and all requests. Very happy with our choice and can't imagine staying anywhere else in Venice. It was a splurge but worth it.
Be the first to ReplyClose to Perfection -- Excellent and Luxurious Stay
Stayed here for five nights as a Bonvoy Titanium to celebrate a 60th birthday in the family. Applied SNAs and was confirmed pre-arrival into a St Regis suite. We were accommodated upon arrival in a Grand Canal suite as the originally intended St Regis (Masquerade) suite was not yet available at our time of arrival. We were warmly welcomed by Andi who was an exceptional ambassador for this property. We appreciated the gesture of a complimentary afternoon tea presentation while waiting for the room (offer remained even after the further Grand Canal suite upgrade) even though we did not take the hotel up on their offer. The room was expansive and comfortable, though the placement of the bathtub in the bedroom instead of bathroom was odd. However, we did appreciate the built out that the St Regis has done while preserving the original structures of the traditional building so we understand the balance. The concierge team was professional and able to secure dining reservations prior to our arrival and also visits to factories on Murano during our stay. We enjoyed walking around Venice by exiting into the San Marco backstreets from the hotel though the area is under construction. We enjoyed breakfast and dinner at Gio's, and appreciated the coffee from the butler service which we requested for in the evening. The St Regis has some way to go before attaining a flawless and consistent top-tier stay. Breakfast service was rather spotty, particularly the lack of water refills. Housekeeping was friendly and prompt but there were some observable lapses, including an unattended cup on a shelf in a common corridor for two days and stains on sheets. Notwithstanding this, food was high quality and service was good, so we remained happy guests and felt well taken care of. We thought this stay represented excellent value for our points redemption, though my hope is when we return on cash rates, the St Regis can bridge the gap from excellence to perfection.
Be the first to ReplyBeautiful property and location paired with incompetent management and terrible service and attitude.
Property is beautiful, location is incredible, etcโฆ HOWEVER, hotel management and service was the worst weโve ever experienced at any St Regis (weโve stayed at probably 6-8 properties around the world). There was a total lack of coordination between check in and the butler service, and ongoing incompetent butler service throughout our first 24 hours. We booked the second highest level room. When we checked in they tried to stick us in a room smaller than any St Regis anywhere weโve ever stayed. We asked the check in person to fix it. This took over an hour, but they finally gave us a room which matched what we paid for and was shown in the Bonvoy App. They acted like theyโd done us a favor, which was annoying ($2,000/night room!!). 24 hours later still no coordination and nothing proactive from the butler service. Our room wasnโt cleaned, etcโฆ. After 3+ conversations with the front deck, manager on duty, etc they offered us dinner and 1,000 points (which is NOTHING on Bonvoy). We are in this beautiful city and property and theyโve done nothing but piss us off every step of the way. So incredibly disappointing for a St Regis property (much less any hotel anywhere).

Arriving at our hotel from Naples, we received an upgrade to the Grand Canal View Suite - a 1 Bedroom Suite with a great Grand Canal view, and acknowledgment of Ambassador status. Property has its own luxury style. Exquisite. Ate a late dinner at the hotel restaurant - food was very good. No rush to order or to leave. Nice breakfast spread. Coffee service delivered to your room quickly and at any time of day or night. We were there for the opening weekend of Carnival. What a wonderful location to stroll over to St. Mark's Square and participate in the atmosphere! The view from our room were breathtaking. We saw the evening parade from the comfort of our room and woke to a beautiful sunrise. Is Ambassador status worth it? I would say yes.

The hotel looked very newly refurbished. Iโm not far from Saint Maria. Our room was in block number three on the sixth floor. The room was spacious, but unfortunately did not have a good view. But we hardly stayed in the room. The size of the room was comfortable. The only issue was that the washroom had only one sink. The shower was the highlight in the toilet. I will definitely stay in the same hotel in the future.
Be the first to ReplyFantastic Staff
The St. Regis is a delight. Each staff member with whom we interacted was helpful and kind. In particular, Iโd like to point out Ludmilla, from housekeeping. She worked around our timing, customizing our preferences for the room and then chased me down as I entered a water taxi to return medicine inadvertently left behind in the room while packing up. In addition, each concierge did a fantastic job in making the logistics run smoothly for our group. They sourced a fantastic guide, Corinne, who gave us an engaging, personalized tour despite challenges posed by the chaos of Carnivale. They arranged transport and suggested activities. Itโs a lovely property, but the staff is what makes it truly special.

We had an amazing long weekend in Venice. Staying in St. Regis was the best decision ever. Location is very convenient, all people working here are very friendly and knowledgeable. The concierge desk arranged great trip for us to the islands Murano and Burano, including very good recommendations for shops and restaurant. The bartenders are very kind and explained us many important details about Venice and itโs history. Our room had beautiful view at Canal grande and was very cosy. And not to forget: the piano man at Gioโs restaurant! Just fantastic. We will for sure come back, hopefully soon.

I recently had the opportunity to stay at the St Regis Venice Hotel and I want to say that it was a wonderful experience. The hotel is in a great location, close to most attractive places in Venice, and offers exceptional amenities. We were lucky to stay in a suite with view on the Grand Canal: it was absolutely wonderful, with great comfort, modern and sophisticated touches. The staff was exceptionally helpful and attentive, and I didn't really encounter any problems during my stay. I highly recommend the St Regis Venice Hotel to any traveler looking for a chic and luxurious place to spend time in Venice.

One of the best hotels I have ever stayed at in my life. Thanks to the St Regis Venice for everything during our stay. A beautiful hotel, decorated with great style. The suite we occupied was very comfortable with a fantastic view. The staff go out of their way to make your stay as enjoyable as possible! Breakfast and restaurant was great with a view of the Grand Canal. One of the best part was the possibility to travel by water taxi to their private dock with direct access to the hotel from the canal. It felt like something out of a movie. In resume everything was absolutely perfect. I would definitely recommend this place!
Be the first to ReplyA true luxury hotel is hard to find these days
In my experience, after the Pandemic hotels have strruggled to gain their standards back and deliver a truly great stay. In the collective imagination, Venice is a mysterious, surreal city full of incredible Luxury, where all drinks are served in beautiful glasses and coffee is a ritual. This is absolutely true at St Regis Venice. A cold glass of Rose, Brut Prosecco or water is offered at check-in, which is a comfortable desk. Cookies from Burano and candy were always available as well. The rooms are very well appointed with modern and beautiful furniture and artworks. Our suite had a wonderful large tub, a very good shower, and Aqua di Parma amenities with their heavenly Orange smell. Ferrerari Maximus Blanc de Blancs was waiting for us, perfectly chilled upon our arrival. Every night Housekeeping did a turn down service, alligning the slippers next to the bed and left a treat for us, changing it every day. From cookies, nougat candy, panetonne, all delicacies made at Christmas time, all delicious and carefully selected. Breakfast has a truly spectacular view facing Santa Maria de la Sallute. The waitstaff is super professional, re-folding your napkin every time you get up to the buffet, and suggesting beverage tastings based on your food selections. The buffet is top notch but the cooked dishes also very, very good. Thank you all at St Regis Venice for your hard work to keep luxury alive.
