The Plough Inn Faversham Reviews from The Last Year
Excellent pub lunch
Sunday lunch with friends, on a fine spring day, although warm we decided to eat inside, good food and service would definitely recommend
Dinner for two on point 👌
Great country pub , steeped in history set on the Kentish downs. Excellent fresh well presented food the menu suits all , must admit it’s not your typical pub menu it’s better, but still offering a superb choice to suit all. We noticed everything is locally sourced where possible. Tonight we experienced excellent customer service, great food , in a little country pub ,what more could we want for. P.s the rhubarb and custard tart with rhubarb ice cream so so good . We wil be back.
Delicious food with amazing accomadation. Would highly recommend.
We stayed in the amazing accomodation for valentines. Everything you needed was thought of. It was very comfortable , clean and we didn’t want to go home. Hosts were extremely Helpful. We had the set valentines menu in the pub, the food was delicious. Would highly recommend.
Midweek Birthday Lunch
We went for lunch on a Tuesday to end my 30th birthday weekend and had been recommended by our Airbnb. The food was 10/10 - could not fault it, so delicious! It’s a cosy, casual pub vibe but the quality of the food and menu was amazing. Service was also fantastic. It was a bit quiet but I think that’s to be expected on a late afternoon on a random Tuesday. Just wish we lived closer to be able to try more of the menu sooner!
Excellent lunch.
Without doubt the best pub lunch I’ve had in a long while. On the recommendation of the friendly waitress I went for soft shell crab followed by the sea bream and a bottle of the Chilean Chardonnay. All cooked to perfection and the service was relaxed, un rushed and professional. Thank you, we thoroughly enjoyed it and will certainly be back soon.
Beautiful country pub!
Very cosy, well decorated, bright, clean country pub. Lovely log fire and a nice view. Lots of gin to choose from too. Unfortunately this was a flying visit but I will definitely be back! Sausage and mash was stunning and my friend enjoyed his fish and chips too. Can’t wait to bring my parents here
Five Star Pies
National Pie Week and a truly amazing pie! At the age of 78 I can state that ai have eaten many a pie in many a pub.The Plough’s brisket and kidney pie was the most exquisite pie creation I have tasted. Very good service by excellent friendly and knowledgeable staff.
A lovely stay
We booked last minute for bed and breakfast and had our dinner there too. The rooms are lovely, well thought out with everything we needed. Our meal was delicious with good portions and a very friendly team. The absolute triumph was the breakfast delivered to our room in the morning which was amazing. Piping hot cooked breakfast and hot coffee. It was really dog friendly and the pup had a great time.
A gem in Kent.
This is my fourth stay at the Plough. The rooms/suits are fantastic. Lovely bed linen and superbly appointed. The food is exceptional. Some good standard pub food but the gems are on the specials board. Also recommended for Sunday lunch. The service is first class and the staff very friendly. In all ways absolutely first class.
Pub with wonderful views over the countryside
Everything was great! Accommodation was first class, furnished to a high spec and very comfortable. Staff were brilliant, food was excellent and Maddie and Marianne went above and beyond to make us feel welcome.

I have some reservations coming up tomorrow that have gotten lots of views but haven’t sold yet. I haven’t made a sale yet since I just joined this week. I keep lowering the price, but am worried they won’t sell. How long did it take you to sell your first reservations? And did you have success being reimbursed by AT for no-show or cancellation fees? Just looking for a little reassurance. Thanks!

You should probably cancel prior to the cancellation date per the cancellation policy. I would imagine you would only get reimbursed for a sold listing if you happen to be charged?

My first sale took about a week. But as the other commenter said stay ontop of your cancellation windows. There’s no reimbursement for those so make sure you cancel in time then just try again.
