This speakeasy behind the pink door provided all the vibes! Great ambience even with live music playing, you're able to have a conversation with your party. Service team, on point! Super friendly and accommodating. We ordered a few dishes: Arancini - great crispy outside, melting cheese on the inside over this sauce with a little kick. Linguine alle vongole - loaded with a bunch of clams, cooked with panchetta. Frankly I thought this dish was a bit dry for my liking. I like to sop up a little of pasta sauce with bread. But there wasn't even a drop. I felt the panchette was overpowering and I couldn't really taste the clam flavor in the pasta. Sicilian fennel orange salad - big fan, I was happy the salad came after the linguine. Solid simple salad as orange and fennel are great together. Ordered the flourless chocolate cake with earl grey ice cream. Loved the ice cream flavor, wished it was colder as the chocolate cake was too warm. I would come back to maybe try other dishes.. or bring a date..

Omg, i got the lasagna and it was like that moment at the end of ratatouille when the critic finally caves. The view, what a view to have by the port next to pikes place. Lucky to make it as a walk-in the servers more then happy to sit me and cater to any question i threw. Oh and if you love bread be careful!! Me and my guests had 3 orders of the house bread and olive oil; just wowed. Need i say anymore, worth the time, and definitely a recommendation anytime you come to Seattle.

Find the pink door down the alley! As you enter, you have to walk down the stairs to the dining area. FYI to anyone who needs accessible entrances. Not sure if there's an elevator. Got the Prosciutto and Burrata appetizer which was amazing- how can you go wrong with rustic toasted bread with prosciutto and burrata?! Then for entree I got the Lasagna Pink Door, which is popular item, but honestly too heavy for me alone to eat. Definitely share this because there isn't any other texture to it than the lasagna and sauce. It was very soft and melts in your mouth though.

I've been wanting to go to the pink door for years now, and I finally got to go this past weekend (!!). The experience was all I hoped for with live jazz music from local artists, delicious food and great friendly service. The waitress greeted us warmly and immediately asked if we had any food allergies or dietary restrictions which I appreciated. We ordered the prosciutto and burrata appetizer, complementary bread, rigatoni with meatballs, and the bolognese. The food was delicious. My partner thought the bolognese was the best he's ever had before! Sadly, I only got a picture of the appetizer. We thought the cost of food and the quantity was reasonably priced; each pasta dish being under $30. We were seated in the back area with views of the water but it can be a little loud. Reservations can only be made exactly 1-month in advance so I recommend setting a reminder to book online as soon as reservations open up. Date night or a special occasion, this place is on the top of my list for Italian restaurants. I can't wait to come back and try other dishes.
Be the first to ReplyPretty standard Italian food with great atmosphere.
Worth checking out if you're in the area

The Pink Door has delicious food and great service! Even though there wasn't any reservations, Taylor was able to get us at a table. The vibe of the restaurant was great and the performance was really good too. Our server, Stephanie, provided excellent service and was on top of everything. Additionally the food was really good. All the dishes we got and the dessert were delicious and very flavorful. During our stay in Seattle, this was the best restaurant we went to!
Be the first to ReplyWent to the pink door on an afternoon.
Luckily skipped the afternoon rush by picking the reservation time as 11.45pm. Being a vegetarian it did have a couple of options. We were seated right next to the window overlooking the water. The service was not particularly exceptional but satisfactory. We ordered the lasagna pink door which I must say was quite flavorful. Also, ordered the grilled cheese with tomato soup which was disappointing. The tomato soup especially was something out of a tomato can. Surprisingly, the Tuscan fries with fried herbs was good. Although too much quantity for a side dish. The flash fried sage and garlic added a wonderful taste.
Be the first to Replythe food was basic, no flavor.
I asked for a glass of water, but they gave me wine. My hubby asked for the manage, but they kicked us out.
Be the first to ReplyThe pasta here is always made to perfection.
The quality of the pasta is better than most places in the area so you are paying for quality food here. The service is kind and fast. The ambiance is pretty. This restaurant has a great view of the pier and nice outside seating. This is a great place for a nice spring or summer date night. Watching sunsets while eating pasta here is a nice experience in Seattle.
Be the first to ReplyAwesome meal, great servers, friendly and accommodating.
Not easy to find but worth the look. Our flight had been delayed and so we had to change our dinner reservation from 7:15 to 9:00. I emailed through Open Table and had a response (midair mind you) within ten minutes. We also had a Tarot reading with Kince before dinner. He was friendly and knowledgeable. Great fun! Our dinner was fantastic: Long rib (must try for meat eaters), Salmon and the "mushroom" pasta dish and ate family style. Everyone was happy! There wasn't a bit of disappointment. We will be back! Highly recommend.
Be the first to ReplyThe food and the ambience really made the night special.

I've been wanting to come here for awhile to see what the hype was about. Was finally able to get a reservation and bring my girlfriend here for our anniversary. We came 30 mins early and they were able to accommodate us for seating. Waiting service was decent. As soon as you walk in it, it isn't what you expect coming from an alley. It's nice intimate place dim lighting. The view is incredible get to over look the city a little. Food was good, my girlfriend really enjoyed the bolognese. I had the cioppino and it was nice and hot. Their old fashion was smooth!

Got reservations for Thursday night dinner a month in advance.Ordered a few cocktails that were beautifully crafted.Bread served with olive oil - chef's kiss. That was some good bread and olive oil.Food:Penn Cove Mussels & Clams ($27) - Fresh mussels and clams with a yummy slice of grilled garlic bread.Winter Risotto ($28) - Incredibly tender duck confit with crispy skin sitting on top of an extremely rich, creamy butternut squash risotto. Loved the crunchy hazelnuts on top too. Portions are great. Impeccable quality. Prices are very reasonable. Staff is amazing. The interior is absolutely impeccable. My one nit is it's extremely loud since it's so crowded, so make sure you go with someone who talks LOUD, lol. There was live music on a Thursday night and I have heard there are burlesque shows sometimes.

I have always heard about The Pink Door and I finally decided to try this restaurant out. If you have never seen a picture of this place, it might be a bit hard to find. It's in an alley way and it's literally a pink door that you go to. But once you go in, the ambiance of the restaurant is amazing, especially at night. The room is a bit dimmed to show off the beautiful lights that they implemented throughout the restaurant. There's also nice decorations and art scattered throughout the place. If you made reservations, you'll get the better table and will likely be seated near the window where you can see the pier. I recommend going here for a romantic date. The service here was good. Our servers was pleasant and helpful. They were patient and answered any of our questions with good attitudes. The place can be a busy, so you might have to wait on them. I got the clams/oyster pasta and I was totally surprised and amazed. I have never had clams with pasta, but these things went well together! It also included some bacon in it which was a nice touch. I would say that towards the end of the meal, the food was getting saltier. Overall, I enjoyed my meal and would get it again.

My family and I recently visited The Pink Door and had an incredible dining experience. We ordered two dishes, the Squid Ink Tonnarelli and the Lasagna Pink Door, and both were outstanding. The Squid Ink Tonnarelli was perfectly cooked and had a deliciously unique flavor. The pasta was infused with squid ink, which gave it a slightly briny taste that complemented the breadcrumbs in the dish. The Lasagna Pink Door was equally impressive. It was layered with rich, Bolognese sauce and creamy, making every bite melt in my mouth. We also ordered the Brussels sprouts side dish, which was a standout in its own right. The sprouts were roasted to perfection with a slightly crispy exterior, and the addition of bacon and balsamic vinegar added a wonderful depth of flavor. It was the perfect side dish to accompany our mains. To accompany our meal, we ordered the It Feels Right cocktail and The Pink Door mocktail, both of which were delicious and complemented our dishes perfectly. The It Feels Right cocktail was a refreshing blend of spirits and fruit juices, while The Pink Door mocktail was light and refreshing, making them the perfect complement to our rich and flavorful dishes. The atmosphere of the restaurant was charming and cozy, with the decor adding to the ambiance. Service was impeccable too - our server was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. Overall, I highly recommend The Pink Door for a special dining experience. The food is exceptional, and the atmosphere is perfect for a romantic date or a night out with friends.

Excellent food, just don't bother trying to get a reservation. It used to be easy before they went to an online only system. They force you to pounce at exactly midnight when tables are released for the next month and even being proactive will only give you the dreaded 4:00 or 10:00 seating. Tickets to Taylor Swift would be easier to get. Always rated as one of the toughest tables to get in the city and it doesn't have to be this way.

This place is AMAZING! So happy we took the time to find it. Food was delish. Service was amazing, so much to look at and see. It made my trip to Seattle.
Be the first to ReplyPhenomenal food and fantastic service.
Quality all around. Highly recommend and highly recommend making a reservation. As a walk-in at 6:30 on a Thursday night, I had a two-hour wait and they stopped taking walk-ins by the time I reached the door. So glad I waited on this one.

Made a reservation for this place well in advance, and brought a group of friends here on a Friday night. I had heard a lot about this place, and was excited to be finally trying it. It's located in Post Alley, and definitely a little hard to find since it's just one door (that's not so pink lol). We were seated on the very end of the restaurant, right next to the windows. Although it was dark outside, you could see the lights on the pier. We got a round of drinks and some entrees. They had some lovely non-alcoholic mocktails, although I can't find them on the menu anymore.- Lasagna Pink Door: this sounds strange when you see it on the menu, but the flavors were delicious! Everything goes really well together, and is very unique. - Pesto Pasta: This was an ordinary pesto pasta, and fell a bit flat compared to the lasagna pink door.Overall, the experience was what I expected - ambient, with yummy food, and good company. I would definitely come here again, maybe for a date night or more intimate occasion.

I walked in with a party of 3 without a reservation on a Tuesday evening around 6 pm. We lucked out with seating at a round booth that was reserved for individuals who never showed up. The other patrons were mostly dressed up but there were others like myself in casual clothing too. There were hourly acrobatic performances on Tuesdays which were not announced but we happened to come across one in the lounge area on our way out. The performer does not allow pictures or videos of their performance but it was really neat to experience in person. The food was amazing and there was a great view of the puget sound at sunset. I had the lasagna pink door which was a great vegetarian option with layers of flavor. My sister had the winter risotto which was perfectly cooked and had great contrast textures with butternut squash and hazelnuts. My friend ordered the arancini rice balls appetizer which came with a dipping sauce that was very flavorful and reminded us all of an adult version of grilled cheese with tomato soup. There is quite a variety of drinks to choose from also. We enjoyed an amaretto sour and a non alcoholic Italian soda. Most of the wines, however were sold by the bottle with fewer options by the glass. The ambiance is adorable inside and unassuming from the outside in post alley. The service was very quick and had attentive staff.
