I felt fancy having brunch here.
This restaurant is classy, and their staff make you feel like family. They have a great menu and food. Highlights were the lobster Benedict, chicken and waffles, and the French toast. It will be on my list to go again.
Be the first to ReplyEverything began great.
We received our food in record time. As I was enjoying my French Toast, I found a hair underneath it and sorry I couldn't eat it. My Mom didn't like her frittata was it had too much cheese for her taste. Our server didn't really pay much attention to our table. We had a credit for the restaurant and we didn't even use it. I was pretty disappointed.
Be the first to ReplyFood and drinks were absolutely phenomenal.
Sat at the bar, it was a slow night but it took forever to get service all night. Other than that it was great! Definitely will come back for dinner

Outstanding service from Adan and Raph provided attentive service! The coffee is on point and served hot. I enjoyed eggs scrambled to perfection and good value for the price. Lovely atmosphere for dining.

An exquisite meal - every bite was delicious. We had the duck broth to start as well as fried chicken and sweetbreads (which the manager allowed us to order from the pre-fixed menu - we love sweetbreads and these were gorgeously prepared.) the duck broth was perfect - balanced and light but so flavorful. We chose the beef rib with roots and shoots for two as our entree and it was delicious - perfectly cooked and seasoned. The ambiance was perfect after spending a day in crowded museums. The service was excellent, friendly, genuine and accommodating. Highly recommend and will be back.

Service was fantastic-- the birthday cake was so cute! The ambiance is great-- super good to take photos since the lighting is super good. The eggs Benedict however... was not great. The buns were a bit too stiff/overcooked and the bacon was way too hard.
Be the first to ReplyClassic brunch spot with classic brunch food.
Restaurant has cute seating, lots of light, and feels very pretty and fresh!

Everyone was so accommodating. Thank you to Artzi, for making our brunch so fun!
Be the first to ReplyThe interior was beautiful.
Our server was very kind and the lattes were excellent. A great choice for on the go or casual dining.

My favorite brunch spot in DC! The food is excellent and the service is even better. Staff here are very attentive, and will check in with you often to make sure you have everything you need. I also loved the aesthetic of this place. I've stayed at the DuPont Hotel many times, so it's always a treat to visit.
Be the first to ReplyFood: omelette and Virginia ham Benedict.
Tastes super clean super simple. Eggs were cooked perfectly in both entrees. A little pricey but would still go back for a really nice breakfast. Good presentation. Service: attentive and professional. Ambiance: Very classy very chic. Clean and nice large windows. Waiters in proper attire. Feels upscale.

Service was excellent and our food was delicious! Is a great little breakfast and brunch spot and is very convenient if you're staying at the DuPont!
Be the first to ReplyWent for restaurant week but they were out of the dessert
Went for restaurant week but they were out of the dessert we wanted so ended up getting the regular menu. Overall, it was good but wouldn't go back because of the prices. Expect $100+ per person for one app and one appetizer... it was good! I like the booths - comfy seats and great location, but overpriced. The bread with the whipped butter was SO good. The best salad was tasty. The ribeye was yummy (especially with that butter sauce). The bucatini was the only food that was underwhelming. Service was great.

I went here for my first date ever with my now boyfriend and I must say it was the best first date I'd ever been on (and not just because I fell in love). So for anyone wondering if they should have a first date here, if you want the best date ever, ABSOLUTELY do it. I'll start with the ambiance. It was so intimate and extremely aesthetically pleasing as a restaurant. It is quiet inside, there's candles on each table, and you are far apart from other parties. As for the service, well that was the best part and the reason I'll be returning for my anniversary as much as possible. Our server was Duane Stowes and let me tell you, he is the most personable and mood-bolstering server I've had at any restaurant. He offered help on the menu, constantly checked in on us, and made the first date awkwardness completely nonexistent. He really made the date more fun and that wasn't even his job so request Duane. Not to mention, he's extremely talented in his music and has a great personality. For the food, everything was cooked to perfection. All in all, cannot say enough great things about the Pembroke.
Be the first to ReplyThe Pembroke is one of the best 5 stars restaurants in D.
C. located at the DuPont Circle Hotel. Very clean and charming. Service is absolutely top notch, and the food is delicious and consistent. Great beautiful bar. Definitely recommend.

The service was excellent- both the assistant manager and our server were so friendly, kind, and accommodating. For our appetizer, we got the burrata. It was delicious and the balsamic dressing was on the sweeter side, less vinegary. I tried the bucatini- it was a little too salty for me and the noodles seemed a little soggy but the lobster pieces were yummy. I wouldn't get it again though. The filet mignon was delicious but a little overcooked. The potatoes were nice and crispy. I also tried the daydreaming drink. It wasn't what I expected, especially compared to what the drink looks like. I thought it'd be sweeter. It wasn't my favorite. Overall, this is a nice place for dinner. The low lights set the mood.
Be the first to ReplyI had a great breakfast here.
The eggs were good and I was surprised by how delicious the potato rosti was. I also liked my mimosa. The waiter was friendly and the restaurant itself is beautiful and airy. I would definitely want to come back to have dinner here.
Be the first to ReplyAmbience is great, 4.
5 stars. Service was fine. I had the Avocado Toast. However the food was mediocre to ok and I had the worst iced coffee here that I've ever had. They could have been having an off morning, and I'd try again. But at this price point I'd want to see dramatic improvement.
Be the first to ReplyGreat location, very mediocre food.
I had the Crab Benedict, which was OK, but not great, but not even "good" either, and ordered the truffle fries which was an additional $15 so 45 total for a meal I would not come back and get again. The fries were better than my overdone Benedict though. If you're just looking for ambiance, this is a great vibe, and great location, but if you're looking for good food, I would go somewhere else, and not even consider this place. None of my friends loved their meals. I wouldn't go back but thought ambience was good.
Be the first to ReplyThe food here is consistently good.
Tuna tartar is great (could use a little drizzle of some type of soy based sauce) but still excellent. The Burata is excellent the eggplant accompaniment is to die for. Crab cake is delicious. Can't go wrong with any of the specials. The GM is personable and friendly. Must thank Victor for the hospitality. One of the best waiters I've had. So far I've been here 3 times in 3 months so that speaks volumes. Also the decor is lovely! Makes for a good date night or girls night out.
Be the first to ReplyThe perfect spot for a beautiful breakfast or brunch.
The waiter Michel is so attentive and diligent. I cannot recommend this place enough, especially if you are looking to have a boutique style, amazing breakfast!

My husband and I recently went to the Dupont Circle Hotel for an event and arrived early to have a glass of wine at The Pembroke. We were so impressed with the menu and the ambience that we made reservations for dinner after the event. Dinner was truly fabulous! With our first tastes, my husband and I knew we were having more than a memorable meal but a true dining experience! Leo, the bartender is a true master. My husband and I are big fans of Manhattans and Leo has the artistic touch. Victor our server was wonderfully engaging as well, both making us feel as though - even on a busy dining night - we were the only two people they was assisting that evening. My husband and I return to the DMV about every four weeks and we already know that we are returning to The Pembroke. Thank you so much!

I came here for brunch on a Sunday and didn't know the restaurant was located in a hotel. The restaurant is decorated beautifully and has a lot of natural lighting. The staff were so nice and offered water while we waited for our table to be ready. We ordered the French toast with scrambled eggs and pancakes with bacon and fried eggs.My friend enjoyed her French toast, but it was mushy on the inside so I didn't care for it. Her scrambled eggs were so fluffy and tasted really good. The Pembroke pancakes are amazing. Best pancakes I've had in a restaurant. The bacon was a little too crispy and a bit hard to enjoy, but overall we were pleased with our food.I will absolutely come back, esp since the prices are very reasonable.

We liked this place! Great decor, good service!! We need to come back some day when we have more time to appreciate all the ambiance. We just went for a breakfast before an event. We were seated and served quickly which was what we needed- due to the washing ton heat!!We took the no- frills approach. Can't wait to try again for lunch or dinner!!

My friend wanted to come here and I was skeptical it would be just another rip off hotel bar. It's definitely very expensive but the quality is really excellent. The environment is also really nice. All of the cocktails are $18 but they are large and very well-made and strong. I have cavatelli with mushrooms and it was delicious and surprisingly large! I really enjoyed it and did not leave hungry. I would recommend this place for an upscale activity or a special occasion.
