Nice spot, I love the ability to order from multiple options. Shay's Kitchen had very good options. The turkey leg skin was tough but the meat was tender. It takes a steak knife to cut it. The fried eggs were ok, tasted like other food items in the crust. Island Kitchen was nice, hot and fresh. The Jerk pork meat was fatty but seasoned nice.

So we came in no reservations however it wasn't packed or to full. It took a few minutes to get seated. Several minutes to get serviced. And asking of 3 different individuals to get silverware. Okay so the food, fried deviled eggs are 4/10, fried chicken is crispy but definitely not seasoned 4/10, beef Pattie's were a hit 10/10. The curry chicken 7.5/10. The truffle fries are good but for 9 bucks eh. Ambiance is loud, it is classy, the bathroom definitely needed cleaning.

We stood at the front for a while and i eventually asked the bar tender if there was a hostess. The bar tender stated that there was a hostess but she was unsure where she was at at the moment. When we did interact with the Hostess she was not very friendly at all, she seemed agitated. she did not greet anyone and seemed aggravated when asked about the wait time. We ended up finding seats at the bar. I think the bar tenders name was Patience. And she indeed had that because people were running her ragged lol. I ordered the Italian from Normas - it was delicious. I wanted the fried plantain with pikliz from SK Fusion but they ran out. So i settled on the conch fritters but the batter was terribly dry. They also ran out of simple syrup. So my French 75 wasn't as tasty. The noise level wasn't too crazy, not too rowdy but also not extremely quiet. Just right.

This place has everything for literally every one's cravings. It's a big hall with seating and they bring one big menu with all the different restaurants offerings. You can also reserve the upstairs for private party/dinning. Food is pretty good. The hall itself is beautiful.

Service is horrible, food took forever, and is extremely overpriced. They also charged a brunch event service charge on the bill without any notice or mention anywhere on the menu or by staff. I ordered chicken tenders and truffle parm fries, which was the most expensive chicken tenders I've ever had in my life at $20. The fries were coated in Parmesan but had no truffle taste. Will not be going back.

So many wonderful food options. Nice atmosphere. Got there at 7:20. We asked for Rose, told they were out, asked for Pinot Gris, out of that, asked for flavored vodka, out of that, ok just regular vodka is fine and also ordered a cocktail they were not out of. Tried to make it easier on them. 10min went by, would u like to order, said no, will wait on drinks. 10 min later, was told bar is backed up, we still opted to wait hoping that would push them. Another, yes another 10 min goes by and still no drinks. We had enough, and walked out after 33 min with no drinks or water. Was it crazy busy ? No. Was there 2-3 people working the bar? Yes. And the menus were disgustingly dirty, gross. Why wouldn't you have your staff clean these daily or on the spot in these times?? Also some restaurants (2) depicted on their site was closed /out of business. I see why they got out of Dodge.

The service was poor, the waiter took over 20 mins to do small simple tasks like grabbing a Togo box or even refilling our water. Our oxtail brunch meal was VERY salty. They're down 2-3 kitchens and hasn't updated the menu online. Ever since they have become popular everything has just gone down.
Be the first to ReplyWe came here for a friend 45th birthday dinner party.
The reason we chose this restaurant is because it had many different styles of restaurants to choose from such as Mexican, Italian cuisine, Island, American, Vegan and Soul Food. You must make reservations if you're having a big group however if you want a 2 seater table then you could possibly get a table quickly. You can have the delight of eating outside with the beautiful lighting and scenery as well. Inside they do have an open bar but with the seasonal weather there is a bar outside as well. I wanted a little bit of all restaurants to try out the texture and seasons of the food. The peas and rice were nice and fluffy however it was the first item to come out and I was actually a few bites away when I received the rest of my food. Now the ribs were a nice size, tender and juicy however I will choose to have the special sauce on the side instead of being placed on the ribs. Now the macaroni and cheese was made with the smoked taste, Gouda cheese was absolutely delicious. My concerns were the corn muffins they were hard, dry and not what I was expecting from the Shay's Soul Food. Overall with the assistance of attending such a large group of 25 and the delicious food I give them a 10!

The food that was available was very good and the service was good. Just wish the online menus were accurate to what was available. Several of the stalls were closed permanently.
Be the first to ReplyThe concept and decor of this place is great.
There's a few different restaurants/menu options and you can order via the waitress from any of them. However due to possibly being short staffed the service was incredibly slow. It took a while for someone to even come greet our table. I was hoping the dish I ordered would make up for it. I ordered Pat's fish & grits with a creole sauce however I felt it was bland and not what I was expecting. My husband ordered a chicken dish which looked better to me, the sweet potato fries were drizzled in honey and I enjoyed bites of it! I dont think I would return but there is tons of great potential here. Not sure if brunch is better, or if it was just an off night.

It is a great concept with four different kitchens and a bar; there are plenty of options to choose from, which can be a little overwhelming. I didn't like the physical menus. I'm unsure if it is the material, but they felt dirty and greasy. The food was below average; it's a food truck in a fancier venue. We tried a few things: the pizza was ok, the pasta was very simple, and the chicken curry was mainly "chicken bones curry." The trio dips were tasty. Service started slow but got better. The prices are a bit high for the quality of the food. On the bright side, the venue is pretty, and the atmosphere is very inviting.
Be the first to ReplyMediocre food for an extremely high price.
Service is terrible, it's almost like they continue making you wait longer and longer for the food so that you can continue to order overpriced drinks
Be the first to ReplyWent here after work with coworkers.
It's a table hall with food service. They are using outdated menus, as half of the restaurants that are on the original menu are no longer serving food there (started with 8 now there's 4). Theres a cocktail menu, but no beer/wine menu . Three of the cocktails of about 7 or 8 were not available, but when I went to the bar to ask for something similar to one of them they literally just made the cocktail on the menu. A lot of the staff were just wandering around doing nothing and we had to go flag down people to help us. We were eventually asked a little rudely if anyone had mentioned to us that the table we were at was being used for another reservation. We said no (it was hard enough to get a server to talk to us when we wanted them to) and the guy said, "well yeah, that's why they reset and cleaned the other side of it. The party is waiting for their table." So we were basically kicked out of where we were sitting and still drinking because no one told us that we needed to move from the table that we had reserved. The food was alright. The price the most baffling thing. It was obscenely expensive. That drink? Yeah, it cost me $18 for basically an espresso martini. Chicken wings were $15-20 for 5 wings. I know inflation is a thing but those prices are ridiculous. I'll go to the Kelly's outside if I'm walking in the neighborhood but I never need to experience that mediocre place again.
Be the first to ReplyThe concept of this place is interesting.
Multiple "restaurants" on a single menu seems like a great idea, but their servers don't always know what's available and what's been 86ed. I've had multiple times where they were out of what I ordered and then I had to trawl through the menu to find an alternative. The food is equally inconsistent. I've ordered the same item a few times and had it be delicious or inedible, depending on the day. Their bar offerings are great, and the bartenders know their trade, so they've kept me from giving up entirely.

I love the idea of an upscale food hall, and The Hall was unique in that you don't have to walk up to each vendor, you can order from any restaurant all while sitting at your table! I loved the vibes of this place, the decor was fun and unique, and I loved the fancy chandeliers. I started off with a fruity cocktail and it was amazing! But it seems like their drinks are on the weaker side with less alcohol and more juice. The food was okay here, it was a little disappointing because half the vendors weren't even available to order from, and the Indian restaurant had completely closed even though the website still lists them on the menu (they were one of the main reasons we came). We started off with the Mac and cheese bites and they were pretty good, could've been cheesier and more flavorful though. We also got the Jamaican beef patties and they were so good! Definitely my favorite dish of the night. We also got the margarita pizza which was good but whenever you grabbed a slice the cheese would just fall off. We also got the chicken shawarma and fries which were also pretty good. Overall I think it's a nice concept since you get to try multiple cuisines at once, but they could improve the quality of the food to make it truly more of an upscale dining experience.

Attended a private event in their upstairs area and it was absolutely beautiful even despite the weather. Bar service was slow but it was a busy night so I expected that I guess. The drinks I had were PERFECTION and worth the wait. I really would have liked to try the food but I would have needed to book a table in advance. I certainly would have had I known.
Be the first to ReplyMy overall assessment is.
..decent food, horrible service. I do not need to return. My friend and I walked in at around 4:15. We did not have reservations, but the hostess "squeezed us in" among the countless empty tables and chairs. Yes these tables may have been reserved, but there were many, many still open tables when we left at around 6:00. We started feeling unwelcome and it didn't end there. We told the hostess that we had never been there before and she gave use the menus and walked on her way. We waited and waited for someone to come and greet us. Eventually, we flagged someone running food and asked if we needed to walk up to the kitchen to order because we weren't sure at this point. He said he would send someone over. And we waited some more. We asked a server from the table near us (who was helping a couple that arrived after us) and he sighed as he told us we were not in his section but he would take our order. He seemed very bothered by the fact that we asked to be helped, but we had a show to get to and we had been sitting down for about 30 minutes at this point. We ordered the items off of the menu we were given, only to be told that only menu items from 5 of the 9 kitchens were available. This should have been shared when we sat down..or better yet, the menu should be updated. Our server didn't know what drink options were at the bar or what kinds of cocktails could be made. He said there was not a drink menu, but he was supposed to memorize the drinks, but he couldn't tell us what drinks they had. Maybe he was new there. Maybe he was having a bad day. All I know if that this was quite possibly the worst service I have ever received at a restaurant. We ordered eggplant tostones and the fried deviled eggs. Both apps were good, but not so delicious that it would be worth this experience again.
Be the first to ReplyThis is a hidden gem in Orlando.
We travel to Orlando once a year for the last 15 years. I am so glad we found this place. We went on a Sunday evening about seven. It was crowded but Tony made sure that we had a wonderful seat, a great view, and it made a lasting impression. Thank you Tony. This is an elevated food hall with a different concept. There are multiple restaurants under one roof. Unlike most food halls, you are seated at a table and given a menu with eight restaurants on it. We ordered from three of them. The food was so delicious that we forgot to take pictures of all of it. We did take pictures of the appetizers which were hush puppies with jalapeño and cheese and Jamaican beef patty's. Two of us had the scallops and shrimp for an entrée and the other person had the Rasta pasta. We had a toddler with us and she had noodles with red sauce. She loved it as well. Everything was delicious, the ambience was great, and the environment is beautiful but not stuffy. The outdoor space has green turf, a large screen for sports viewing and comfortable chairs. From top to bottom it's just a beautiful place. The crowd included everyone: families, singles, groups celebrating, seniors and young people. It is a place that appeals to all.We have to give a shout out to our server, who goes by the name of Cross. He was great guiding us along the path of a new experience. Everyone that we encountered, starting with Tony at the reception desk was absolutely professional and engaging. We will definitely return!
Be the first to ReplyExcellent concept well executed.
The Hall is a beautiful space inside and out that serves as home to eight separate chef owned restaurants. Very eclectic mix. You can order from any or all of them at any meal as well as from the bar; the Hall sorts it pint in one bill.I sat outside on a beautiful St. Patrick's Day afternoon. The bar outside is long, covered and comfortable. I had the special drink for St. Patty's Day, a concoction the mixologist called "Up in the Heathers." Delicious. I had a caprese chicken sandwich with pesto - delicious. I could have had pizza or chicken and waffles or steak or sushi or.... So many excellent choices. Then I stepped across the courtyard to Kelly's Homemade Ice Cream for dessert and Foxtail Coffee to round out the afternoon's.The setting is incomparable on Virginia and Orange Avenues. It sits in the shadow of The Yard housing complex. There is a turf field courtyard with big beautiful couch seating and giant TVs. I can go on and on. Love this place!
Be the first to ReplyI really, really wanted to love this place because it
I really, really wanted to love this place because it honestly has so much potential. I appreciate the concept and I admire the fact that their menu offers something for everyone. Whether you're in the mood for Indian, Asian, Italian, Caribbean, Mexican and more, you're bound to find something you'll enjoy. What I tried from their extensive menu, for the most part, was tasty. However, I found most of it to be extremely overpriced. Favorite : Truffle bruschetta. Great flavor, fresh and just the right amount of truffle. Least favorite: Beef tartar. It just missed the mark, the flavors didn't mesh well together and it was underwhelming. The food all came out at different times but that was to be expected as there are multiple kitchens, so as long as you keep that in mind, it's not a horrible inconvenience. My main issue here lies with the bar. Upon entering, my boyfriend approached the bar immediately and ordered he & I cocktails prior to our party being lead to our table. Not long after we were seated, however, my boyfriend was stuck at the bar waiting for our drinks to be made for at least 10-15 mins before he was able to sit down and join us. Had it been packed this would be more understandable, but it was practically dead on a Thursday evening. When he finally made his way over, I noticed his glass and wondered what he was drinking. When he stated it was an old fashioned, I thought it was peculiar because I had never seen one served in a wine glass before. Whatever, not a huge deal. Once our party finished dinner, we made our way out to the "yard" area where the outdoor bar was located and decided to continue the evening there. It soon became apparent why the old fashioned was served in a wine glass: The bartender didn't know what an old fashioned was and had to Google how to make it (I have no clue if this was the same bartender who made my boyfriend's drink earlier, but we all found it odd that this very common drink apparently was not common here). There was 1 bartender for the outdoor bar, it took a very long time to get drinks and she seemed very overwhelmed despite the fact that it wasn't busy. Like I've stated at the beginning, this place genuinely has potential and if management focused on the areas that needed attention, it could really become an Orlando staple. I know I'm not alone in my critiques since I've read previous reviews and unfortunately, the issues I've mentioned have been mentioned before. With that being said, I'm hoping that they'll recognize their obstacles soon and begin to address & fix them.
Be the first to ReplyFirst time at the Hall.
Parking was a bit of a challenge but we found a spot with 2 hour parking. The ambience is contemporary and there is a electric vibe due to the open setting and loud music. There are 8 different restaurants to choose from and the service is quick. We ordered 4 dishes and 4 beers and the total came to $105 which included tip. Two of the dishes were suppose to be small plates but seemed pretty large to me. Our server was really friendly. We will come here again.

But the tastes of the food are below average. We ordered 5 different items.I only like the ox tail, and it's only 3 stars out of 5.The burrito is TERRIBLE !!!!

Ended up here to drop my sister some items for her vendor event. Parking is tough if you don't use the garage. But went with my brother and daughter and the look is pleasant, tents and great music from soca to r&b and reggaeton. Personally for us we had a great server, Novie with her blind highlights, she was bartender and server. We had the crab cake, firecracker shrimp and mixed chicken and pork belly bao buns. Crab cake was delicious, cooked wonderfully crisp and seasoned outside the crab was very moist and tasty. The firecracker shrimp was as expected, a nice sweet chilil sauce without it being a mess. The bai buns were plated incorrectly so eating them was messy but the pork was super tender and melted in my mouth. The chicken was crisp with its sauce complimenting it well. Sadly I couldn't give a 5 star as some bartender server, Tim was a bit rude to my parents and nearly ruined their meal with his attitude. Fortunately Novie saved the day with her great attitude.

Service was ok. The busser was working super hard and was super friendly. Food was excellent. We got the truffle bruschetta and meatballs to start. Both were really good. We got pizza and Mac and Cheese which were good also. I got the steak with truffle risotto and that was a real win. Very flavorful. Drinks were very nice. I will most definitely be coming back soon and frequently.
