Sunday Lunch. Not good enough.
Sunday lunch.Drinks, good, starters good, mains not hot, sent back, new mains arrived, no cutlery! Desert not too bad. Not a fan of all veg on the plate, like to have it separate and have what I want. Overpriced for what we had. Wonโt rush back.
Be the first to ReplyFantastic Sunday Roast
We recently booked a table for the Ebrington Arms Sunday Roast. The setting was beautiful - relatively close to Chipping Campden where we stayed, in a characterful stone property. I had the beef roast while my wife had the pork. The food was spot on - along with the meat, great roasted spuds, fresh greens, carrots, Yorkshire pudding, dressing, parsnip, and lashings of gravy. We also shared a cauliflower cheese (very good as well), although we hardly needed it as the portions were quite plentiful. Service was courteous and professional. While we didnโt book a room, we very much might do so on our next trip as everything was done so well. If you are looking for a quintessential British Sunday Roast, I would highly recommend the Ebrington Arms.

Amazing food and service. We live in the Cotswolds and have a large selection of great places to eat. The Ebrington Arms is by far the best pub and restaurant out of all of them. Stunning menu, fab bar snacks. We had squid and duck, beetroot with goats cheese and cod with an amazing new dessert with banana bread. This place never lets us down have eaten here regularly. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff, it is super clean and portions are perfect size. Love this place โค๏ธ
Be the first to ReplyA thoroughly delicious and relaxing lunch.
Fourteen of us had lunch here to celebrate my fathers 85th birthday. Before we even arrived Grace was very accommodating and communicated brilliantly via email. The food was delicious and service was fab. A thoroughly relaxing lunch and we will be back!

Fantastic place to stay. Rooms are well thought out and beautifully decorated. Food was amazing. Evening meal was an explosion off flavours going off all at once. Breakfast was just as good. Bar great selection off ales and wines. Basically an amazing stay. Will definitely be going back
Be the first to ReplyThe great village pub distilled in a bottle
All a village pub should be. Cosy, quirky, welcoming and comfortable. Had a lovely meal and overnight stay in one of the little rooms above the bar. Staff were friendly and helpful, food and drink was delicious. Lovely breakfast too in the morning served by the chef himself! Felt revived after breaking off from a long journey. Thoroughly recommend.
Be the first to ReplyDelicious.. could be a tiny bit more generous on the portions..
Went there for Sunday lunch. I've eaten here a few times, so I feel I am in a good position to write a review. The pub is very warm and cosy looking, and the staff on all occasions were attentive but not overbearing.. The pub itself is in a small picturesque village with some lovely walks nearby.. The Sunday lunch is really tasty - delicious roast potatoes and the meat is really high quality. On earlier visits the veg was slightly lacking, but on this last visit there was a good selection of veg, and you can order cauliflower cheese, at extra cost. The price point is tricky.. ยฃ22 for a roast, I would expect cauliflower cheese to be included.. The meat portion was 3 slices, but the slices were quite narrow and my third slice was very small, so I did feel a little short-changed on the beef portion.. But the taste was divine, all very high quality.. I just think, for true value for money.. as it is an expensive Sunday roast, I would want a little bit more veg and beef... Just saying! I am probably on the greedy side, but the beef is star of the show on any roast, so I was yearning for a bit more..!! We also ordered more gravy as that was a bit lacking too.. Overall very good, and I will always come back here as the quality is second to none.. !

I took my partner to the gorgeous village of Ebrington so I could propose. It is our favourite place in the UK and the Ebrington Arms our favourite pub. The team - led by General Manager Matt - were absolutely fantastic and made us feel very special throughout. The food was to die for. We had the fish and chips along with a myriad of snacks and starters... and we will absolutely be returning at the next opportunity! We went twice in two days...
Be the first to ReplyVery noisy bedroom number 4
Everything was as might be expected of a country pub except for one thing. We stayed in room number 4 and there was a loud continuous noise all night. When we mentioned it to the staff in the morning, we were told that there are two boilers in the roof over room which gurgled continuously and very much disrupted our sleep. Apparently it has been like that for a long time and about time that the owners did something about it. I will never stay there again in room number 4 or any other room near it.
Be the first to ReplyA great lunch
Delightful surroundings and pleasant attentive staff. Delicately gin smoked trout with rocket, sliced fennel and a remoulade,The flavours complemented each other. Some stimulating padron peppers! Flavoursome vegetable burgers and a beautifully cooked sole on the bone with kale and seaweed. Sensible size portions so left feeling pleasantly full. Well worth a visit.
Be the first to ReplyExcellent lunch
Lunch for 4 . Pre booked a table. Friendly staff. Food was prepared nicely and very good quality. The place has plenty of character. We will certainly return. Be advised new ample car park at the rear , look for signs to the right of the building.

Be the first to ReplyMarvellous Find!
Our weekend stay in the Cotswolds at the Ebrington Arms was fabulous. The staff were amazing and couldnโt do more to help! The bar and dining areas were beautifully rustic and atmospheric - a complete buzz around the place. The bar and catering staff were excellent and the menu, while simple, were divine. The accommodation was pleasantly surprising for a โroomโ over a pub! There is also a lovely garden to enjoy in warmer months. Canโt wait to re-visit! Marvellous find!

We spent three nights at The Ebrington Arms and it was wonderful in every way! Comfortable bed, awesome breakfast, very welcoming pub and great location. Wonderful staff! I look forward to visiting you again!
Be the first to ReplyGreat food but shame about the bedroom
We stayed for 2 nights here, just as the snow hit England. Our room was chilly, and we had to turn the radiator up to get some heat into the room. There were 2 lovely leather armchairs in the room, by an old fire (not working) but the lighting in the room was so bad you could not sit in them to read. The linings of the curtains hung below them and the wind was whistling through the windows - so generally not very cosy. The bathroom was lethal. There was a small step up to the bath, loo and shower, but the loo and shower were just on the edge of the step so it was hard to get out of the shower without falling. The shower head was fixed in the middle of the ceiling and could not be angled at all, so it was inevitable that you would get your hair wet. And there was no hairdryer provided. Our bed was not made after the first night there, but the towels were changed (unnecessary for a 2 night stay) but not the bath mats. I had used these to cover 3 large nail heads which were sticking out of a wooden panel just in front of the loo. However, the food was fabulous, and we really enjoyed our 2 dinners and 2 breakfasts there. The staff were also very charming and friendly. I feel the owners need to spend a bit of money upgrading the bedrooms and bathrooms and making them safe.
Be the first to ReplyLovely old pub.
Very good room in lovely old pub. Attractive decor and spotlessly clean. Excellent breakfast and supper served by friendly, helpful staff. Ideal for exploring the Cotswolds. I would thoroughly recommend The Ebrington arms.
Be the first to ReplySuper!
We absolutely loved our stay at the Ebrington Arms! The food and wine is top notch, the staff are excellent, the rooms are lovely and the breakfast was just right. We will definitely be back! It was exactly what I had in mind for a cosy January weekend in the Cotswolds.
Be the first to ReplyA welcome return
A return after 8 years didnt disappoint. This time we stayed for 2 nights whereas 8 yrs ago it was just a place to eat and drink whilst we stayed in the area. So, the good points are that all the staff were lovely, the room, all the food and the location were great. Only one negative point was that the eating area in the evening and especially at breakfast was not quite warm enough. Even the locals sat in their coats. Saying that we do understand heating a very old stone pub in cold January can be both difficult and very costly. Our room was perfectly ok mind. Would we stay again ? You bet we would !
Be the first to ReplyLovely pub in the Cotswolds
Stayed two nights in the Ebrington Arms. The room was very good and the staff extremely helpful. Breakfast was very good and dinner good pub food. An enjoyable relaxing stay not far from Chipping Campden.
Be the first to ReplyIncredible food in a lovely Cotswold setting
We came in on Sunday for our first time (newish to the area) and were blown away. Super attentive and lovely staff. Great beers on time and wine selection. I had easily the best vegetarian roast I have had since we moved to the area. The roast dinners are incredible and its the first time I've never had to ask for extra gravy anywhere! Just yummy and generous portions. Puddings also insane! Cant wait to come back!!
Be the first to ReplyFabulous!
I visited the pub for a meal and decided to book in later in the year to stay over. So glad we did - lovely one night stay. The staff could not have been more helpful and pub had a great atmosphere with cosy fires. Both bedrooms that we had were stylish with Cotswold charm. Our evening meal was very good and the breakfast had a great selection for everyone. We would all recommend the Ebrington Arms without hesitation.
Be the first to ReplyCost pub/restaurant
Lovely cosy pub in the very attractive village of Ebrington. We had a large table for lunch and a great waitress. Very helpful and the food was good. Lots of choice but very meat heavy I would say, but great if you wanted to try something new eg pheasant or venison etc. my steak was โokโ and beware it comes with gravy. And a lot of veg, you donโt really need to order extra. Allows dogs too which is a massive bonus.
Be the first to ReplyPerfect Pub & Top Chef
Itโs our second time here and both were wonderful. Recently being diagnosed with Crohns I struggle when eating out and it fills me with dread. The waitress at Ebrington Arms was so helpful and the chef adapted my whole meal to suit my intolerances, it was not only very helpful but so delicious, Iโm so grateful to the chef for putting me at ease and making the best meal Iโve had since my diagnosis.

So great to be back in our stomping ground. Had a lovely time away but thereโs nothing likr hunkering down in your local on a blustery night with a pint. Staff are always helpful and friendly making you feel welcome and looked after xo
Be the first to ReplyTerrible Food
Worst lunch we've had in ages. The Ebrington Arms used to do great food. First visit today for lunch in a while and what a huge change for the worse. The menu sounds appetising but the quality of the food we had was terrible. I ordered the burger, it was a dry lump of under seasoned meat with a meager amount of some sauce that did nothing for it. The chips were an attempt at double fried but were hard and chewy tasting more of old oil from the frier. There were five of us and all our dishes were of similar quality, The tartar sauce served with the fish and chips had huge inedible chunks of raw onion in. Few photos below. Avoid this place if you want decent food.
