Trying indian foods.
Our visit to Tasty Indian Bistro was an absolute treat! The food was incredibly delicious, each dish bursting with authentic Indian flavors that transported us. Though there was a slight delay in serving, the attentive staff ensured we were comfortable. The cozy ambiance added to the overall charm of the evening. I highly recommend it for anyone craving a delightful Indian dining experience with friends!
Be the first to ReplyVery good ambiance and tasty dishes
Tasty Indian Bistro offers very good ambiance and tasty dishes. The menu has a large variety to include traditional as well as modern fusions. The service was very good too. Our server perfectly arranged shading in the window and temperature to make a comfortable. They offer attractive discounted combos for lunch.

Finally got to try this place after hearing good things from friends. It did not disappoint. We didn't have a reservation and it was a busy Saturday, but were early enough to get seated for a 90 minute window. For us that night, it was plenty of time. The food was excellent. The Malai Chicken Tikka was so tender and well, Tasty! Pakora's some of the best I've had and a large serving. Service was excellent. Our server was attentive, manager came over at one point and quickly checked everything was fine. Place was very busy and lively. Such a great mix of people. I definitely recommend a visit.
Be the first to ReplyTasty is really tasty
We had our lunch while returning to Seattle. As is its name Tasty, food is really tasty. Ambiance good but interior slight darker. Spice level as desired. We tried Panner, malai kofta, makhni daal. Naan were crispy. Service quick. Staff very courteous, well behaved, charming. We also got packed dinner. Will come again.
Be the first to ReplyAbsolutely fabulous food . So well appointed but sadly I couldn’t see or hear my wife!!
I must say the food was absolutely amazing and the decor was to die for. The only slight problem was that it had very low levels of light and I had to compete with the multiple TVs and the music to the detriment of conversation with my wife. It was also very rushed but don’t let this put you off. Great for young people. Tremendous venue.
Be the first to ReplyWorst Indian restaurant
Was really looking forward to visiting this restaurant to celebrate my friends bday It was a disappoint rite as we entered foid was average music was too loud and service was totally rushed . We were told that there's a 2 hr limit the whole evening was a absolutely ruined. However there server was good all the other staff unfriendly Will definitely not be recommending this place to anyone
Be the first to ReplyAwesome food and ambience
This restaurant is great for a tasty meal and drinks!! It simply has the best and authentic Indian food in Vancouver. The Kadi, yellow dal and the paneer appetizer were just out of this world. Saheb, our server, was very courteous and knowledgeable. He took good care of us and had a great recommendation on choice of Bourbon whisky. Highly recommend this place!

Great tasting food, staff very helpful explaining menu, good service and location in Yaletown, very popular, booking required.
Be the first to ReplyGreat date night dinner
We had a wonderful experience dining at this restaurant . I read the reviews and someone else suggested it we met chatting in Yaletown . We had an outside covered table with a nice candle dinner We ordered 1 order of Naan bread and rice 1 vindaloo 1 lemon chicken curry 1 beer and 1 red wine each . (The red wine was delicious , Graffigna Malbec) They both had a good heat and were delicious, We had leftovers to bring back The supervisor came to our table to ask how we were enjoying our food. This was a nice touch as many restaurants do not do this customer service. The Korean waitress in training was lovely.
Be the first to ReplyA wonderful Indian restaurant.
The food was great. and the portions were appropriate. I had the butter chicken and garlic naan bread. My friend had the saag paneer as well as vegetable samosas. Both of our meals were perfectly prepared and absolutely delicious. The restaurant atmosphere was lovely and spacious. The wait staff were friendly, helpful and professional.
Be the first to ReplyThe Masala Chai and Desserts are terrible
It's a shame that such as wonderful restaurant serves such terrible desserts that don't taste authentic. The masala chai is never consistent. It is different depending on who makes it and it is lacking in chai flavor and is very watery. I think the management ought to improve it.
Be the first to ReplyStained napkin, food stuck to silverware
The meal started with a food stained napkin and silverware with food stuck to it put down at our table for my mother at the start of the meal. Some of the food was indeed tasty e.g. the tandoori prawns, the rest decent. The service was very slow. At the end I got so exasperated waiting to pat the bill that I just got up holding the check to pay it at the host desk (then I was intercepted). The noise level was far too high and made it difficult to talk or be heard. Initially we were crammed into a tiny table despite my mother obviously walking in with a cane and needing a bit of extra room to maneuver. I asked for a roomier table and the staff kindly obliged, but a bit of social awareness from the outset would have been nice. I wanted to take my mum for a special meal during our brief stay in Vancouver, but this visit left a bad taste in our mouth.
Be the first to ReplyGood food, OK service
Made a reservation for the patio, which was cancelled 1 minute after time. A little disappointing considering there were tables available, and we were stuck in the line because of a slow host / hostess. Food was delicious, but service can improve. A bit expensive but paying for location.
Be the first to ReplyTasty with great spice levels.
This was a great find. The host was very welcoming and accommodating. The menu had all the classic Indian dishes, however they all seemed slightly elevated in presentation and taste. We had Veggie Samosas, Garlic Naan, Vegetable biryani, Coconut Shrimp curry and chili paneer. All the dishes were excellent and our server, who was also the bartender was great.
Be the first to ReplyGood food. Loud chaotic music.
We loved the food. However the social evening was ruined because of very loud music. You couldn't even workout the type of music. It was just loud and chaotic. A soft indian music, like sitar, tabla or Bollywood songs would have been appreciated and allowed socialising.

Too 5 Best Indian restaurants that I have experienced. Will definitely return, I recommend that you make reservations. You cannot go wrong with anything that you order. Our Uber driver recommended it because his mother is from India, and she prefers this place over any others.

Trendy restaurant. Very loud music played and no Indian lagers on tap! If you are wanting to go somewhere different with a buzz then go here but if you want something to replicate your local Indian restaurant/takeaway then go elsewhere. Confused about ordering drinks
Be the first to ReplyFantastic Food and Service
Wonderful waiter. Great concierges. We came late and ordered just plain saag, lamb korma and chicken tikka masala. Terrific. One in our party said they would just order the saag and a garlic naan and not share because it was so good! All the dishes were great. Great naan too! Thinking of going there again the before we leave town.
Be the first to ReplyThe best Indian Food. Ever.
We went for my husband’s birthday and we are SO glad we did. The hostess, the servers, the entire staff were superb. Then, the food!! It was authentic Indian food served in a classy, fabulous fashion. The 4 of us were surprised in the best way. Just spectacular. Thank you to the wonderful staff for being fun and sweet and giving us great recommendations.
Be the first to ReplyDesserts and Masala chai need improvement
I'm a regular customer at your restaurant and some of your lovely staff members know me. My business advisor who I normally come with loves your food. However, I have a serious issue with your desserts and masala chai. I don't mean to cause offence, but they are awful. I didn't like your ras malai because it tastes artificial or floral. I have lived in India. Ras malai normally has rose water, pistachios and sometimes saffron. Yours doesn't taste like it does. It tastes artificial. I felt like throwing up after eating your carrot halwa. It doesn't taste like carrot halwa at all. There is way too much ghee in it and it tastes terribly oily and fatty. Iwill never order dessert here again. Your Masala chai doesn't have enough masala spice flavor. The purpose of my offering you constructive criticism is to help you improve your sales. I'm not trying to hurt you at all. If I didn't care about you, I wouldn't waste my time leaving this review.
Be the first to ReplyWill come back :)
Very good food, excellent service- our waitress was very helpful and offered perfect recommendations! Will come again :)
Only downside - huge TVs everywhere, unfortunately seems to be the standard for Canada and US
$500 HBD Dinner
Just spend $500 for HBD and order hbd desert and they charged by full price for it , I get pandemic but when ppl spent that kind of coin , you should make good relations , I’m just saying , I’m Punjabi I would embarrassed if I owned this establishment.

Immaculate decor, wide range of tasty Indian delicacies and most importantly, extremely warm and hospitable staff. I would especially like to Thank Mr. Aman and Mr. Pankaj for taking such good care of us. Will surely recommend others as well as visit again.

Excellent Indian Cuisine
The experience was excellent and the food exceptional. The staff attentive and the manager very interested in what a couple from the UK thought of their food. Highly recommend this restaurant that is value for money and would suggest booking a table in advance to avoid disappointment.

For people who have not eaten here, I truly recommend this location. I have been here at least 4 times but has been satisfied .
