DON'T ORDER THE FAJITAS - very disappointing
Our first time here celebrating my mother's birthday. Three of us had burgers which were good, but my mom got the steak fajitas. Literally, there were eight VERY THIN slices of beef and tons of peppers, mushrooms and onions. There was no cheese, sour cream or guacamole served and the 4 flour tortillas were each 4 inches round. Worst fajitas ever. The waitress was nice and spoke to the manager about it. The waitress apparently was told to tell us, that the meat is portioned and it was the correct amount. Not impressed. Good service from our server.

Yummy! We did not try any food but came for the sweets! We shared an Oreo Sundae..and it was amazing! At the table next to us, a group of ladies had a birthday and the staff brought out a huge Shake..with a slice of chocolate birthday cake on top! Loaded to the top with whip cream and sang to her! Very cute! Pricey but enough to share!

Rudest hostess staff I have met in a long time. Thankfully our waitress made up for their bad behavior. The only time they smiled or acknowledged a guest was when people left and they thanked them for coming. Understandable there was no line at this restaurant on a Saturday night at a casino. The pair turned off everyone who greeted them. Totally ruined the vibe for my daughterโs birthday celebration.
Be the first to ReplyAhhh ..another restaurant...went downhill......
Milkshakes were great but food was so so.. overcooked sliders...greasy small portion of fries. And service was awful...waited and waited after seated for a waitress. Drinks finally ordered. But waited and waited for them.....disappointed In food. .once it arrived.. overcooked..greasy... rolls were yuck.. grilled cheese had cheese not even melted.. waitress never came to table to ask how everything was. She needs some training...and restaurant was not even 1/2 full...disappointing to say the least...

Terrible, over priced food and sub- par service. I guess I could see why kids like it, but even then it seems overkill. Why, oh why, do they not have any decent restaurants at Foxwoods?

I went to Sugar Factory on Dec 16. 12:15 It was early and not crowded i didn't have a reservation. I asked to be seated, after an eyeroll from the hostess and ignored by who i learned later was the manager, we were brought to a table... and left to die for the next 2 hours of my life. There were multiple large parties that sat after us, so my husband and I tried to immediately place our order. A couple burgers and a regular run of the mill chocolate milkshake. After 50 mins my husband brought to my attention that my milkshake hadn't even come out yet. While we watched all the 10 top tables get multiple rounds of drinks from the bar, multiple food delivered, the fancy shakes. We were lied to and told the kitchen dropped all the slips and asked what we ordered at that time. After begging for the milkshake 4 more times, it was eventually brought to me. After another 40 minutes our food was finally brought out to us and guess what IT WAS WRONG. We told our waitress we didn't want that food that we didn't order. At this point now it's 1:45 i haven't eaten all day, the food is wrong, i could literally cry. We were told that we would be given some boxes to pack up the food. Why do i want food that i couldn't even sit there and eat because it was wrong. I had to walk to another restaurant at Foxwoods and start the process of getting something to eat all over. I only had 3 hours to spend at Foxwood's that day. I didn't think it would be taken up by having to restaurant hop. My husband finally spoke with the manager and all she had to say was ok thank you for letting me know. Really, super professional there. Glad she could take the time out of staring at her phone to make sure that guests were happy. That woman is the face of a restaurant and looked as unprofessional as they come. Right down to the double septum piercing. Not a great look for a such an overpriced restaurant. This experience will stop me from EVER going to this establishment again, no matter the location. Save your money and get treated better anywhere else at Foxwoods.

I have genuinely never had a worse experience at a restaraunt, especially one thatโs supposed to be very popular and nation-wide. For starters, they brought us fries instead of our loaded fries we ordered, fine mistakes happen I get it. Then after ordering our milkshakes with no other food ordered and 2 other tables in the whole restaraunt, we wait 30 minutes for our milkshakes. Our waitor told us he was grabbing our shakes, but within that time the 2 tables who came in and ordered AFTER US, received their shakes before we did, and it was at least another 10 minutes after the waitor telling us they are coming. When our desserts finally came, they forgot to put in the crรจme brรปlรฉe we ordered. To offer us compensation for our wasted time the manager offered to โtake care of itโ for us. Very kind of him due to our frustrations, until we saw that $3 off of each $20 milkshake was taken off, a total of $6 was considered โtaking care of usโ. Needless to say we will absolutely never be back and hope you take this into consideration before spending an arm and a leg for below average food and customer service.

We took our twin daughters here for their 21st birthday. Everything exceeded my expectations! The service was great - we did not feel rushed at all. We ordered a specialty goblet, and the server asked if I wanted to film it before he poured it in the glass - which had a great dry ice effect. It was also delicious! I ordered the flaming hot cheetos burger, which was the best burger I've ever had! The onion rings I got with it were also very good. We also got the fried oreo insane milkshake, which was equally delicious! I would definitely come back here again - especially for a special occasion. The food and drinks not only looked great, but tasted equally good.

Always wanted to go here. Came for dessert only . Service was excellent. Was fun to look around at all the different drinks/desserts that people were getting.

I am always disappointed with my meal at Sugar Factory. I ordered a short stack of pancakes and they were pre baked. They were not even lukewarm when they were served to me. I sent them back. I requested butter and syrup. I didnโt get the butter. If I had gotten the butter it would not have melted. The scrambled eggs were ok. The hash browns were cold, oily and spicy. It makes me wonder if there are any chefs in the kitchen or just employees reheating pre cooked food. I cannot recommend this restaurant and I will not be returning
Be the first to ReplyService was terrible, rushed us through our meal, refused to split the check
5 of us had a reservation for a business lunch/get together at 11:30am. I arrived a few minutes early and, after waiting for the hostess (who never unacknowledged my presence) to finish her phone conversation, checked in. although there were no more than 4 customers in the restaurant at the time, I was told I needed to wait until all 5 were there before she would seat us. A short time later, 3 others from my group arrived. It appeared the 5th was running late as it was 11:30. I returned to the hostess and requested we be seated. She looked as if this was an unreasonable request, and reluctantly brought us to our table. Throughout our lunch, I noticed her glaring over in our direction several times. This could have been coincidence, but there was no one sitting at any of the tables behind us. Our server appeared a minute later and asked for our drink orders. She didn't seem to be in a good mood either. The 5th member of our group arrived a little late and joined us at the table. When we ordered our food, one in our group asked for a meal to go and what was the easiest way to go about that. Our server took the order and told her just to let her know when to put it in. That opportunity never occurred. The server seemed in a hurry to move our meal along, clearing plates, bringing boxes for leftovers, and never once asking if we wanted another round of drinks. I actually asked her if there was a time limit to our lunch. Much to her dismay, we asked for the dessert menu. That's what we got. ONE menu. For 5 of us. We ordered one item and split it between us. Now, I will say, the food really was decent. The portions were good sized and tasted good. Dessert was very good as well. Then came the check, AND the take out meal. The server took it upon herself to have the kitchen prepare it, rather than asking if it should be put in. We weren't asked if we wanted anything else or if we were ready for the check. We weren't asked if the bill needed to be done any particular way, it was just placed on the table as if our time was up and we needed to vacate asap. Since this was a work lunch, we requested the alcoholic beverages be on their own check. We were told no. After we questioned why, someone else came to the table and told us, in a similar tone, no, they do not split checks. At all. I've never heard of such a thing. It's not that difficult. I don't know what's up at this restaurant, but it seemed evident that everyone but the kitchen staff was miserable. They hurried us through our meal and drove us out. 5 women meeting for lunch in a restaurant at 1/4 capacity on a Thursday. As we walked out, the hostess was on the phone. My coworker made a comment that she saw no notice anywhere about a policy about splitting bills. The hostess covered the receiver on the phone and said, "it says it online when you make the reservation." Meanwhile, an older couple was waiting for the hostess to get off the phone (still). I leaned over to them and told them the service was horrible. The couple then asked if I could recommend someplace else, and I certainly did. They walked away in the direction of the place next door I told them about. The hostess then quickly hung up the phone, gave me a nasty look and went to complain to her other grouchy work friends. It's too bad. We had been looking forward to a fun, relaxed lunch at a restaurant we'd been wanting to try. Definitely won't be going back

We had a wonderful experience. The ambiance is great. The food is good and plentiful. Service was very good. Overall, this is a restaurant you will want to experience.

Ordered dessert to go. Thankfully. While standing there waiting to pay there it was painfully loud and ridiculously crowded with people standing over those seated at the tables. The food was delicous

Our adult children have been here and spoken well of it, so we were looking forward to trying it for the first time. I remember it being very busy when it opened, but we were able to secure a reservation less than a day ahead. They had our reservation and we were seated promptly. The server was friendly and the drink and meal were served promptly. - We tried one of their fancy cold brew drinks (with the whipped cream, waffle, etc.). It was basically milk with whipped cream and a waffle on top. You couldn't taste coffee or the salted caramel. - The Eggs Benedict was an underwhelming, overpriced entree. The muffins were undercooked, two small pieces of asparagus, a fast-food hash brown on top, and then the eggs (cooked correctly) and sauce. - The crepes were a little under-cooked and not filled very well. Just nothing special and not a large portion. To the restaurant's credit, they comp'ed us the meal. We hadn't asked for or expected that. We simply asked for the check and told the server the truth when asked how our meal was. We were expecting something special and received something less than average in terms of quality and portion, and not all all worth the asking price. I understand prices have increased, but we have had much better meals at comparable or lower prices.

Awesome place for late night dessert after a show. We got 2 deserts to split. HUGE. Cheesecake we never even touched (took home). Ice cream sundae we ate half of (maybe less). Very delicious. Would go again. Also -- very clean bathrooms!

Fun vibe to get you in the party mood. The drinks are INSANE! And so fun to watch them be made. Friendly bar staff!

I had high hopes for this place and was terribly disappointed. I had the steak sandwich and it was good. The drinks were nothing special. The service was terrible. And the place was disgustingly dirty. It was incredibly loud and you couldnโt hear anyone at the table talk. The state of the bathroom was embarrassing! Each stall was worse than the one before.

I did not expect the food to be so good, but my meal was great. I had a burger with mac & cheese and was very happy. I also had a drink bigger than my head, so that definitely made me happy!

Restaurant was empty, the hostess was talking to a friend and ignored us standing in-line, instead of acknowledging that she would be with us. She continued to talk with her friend. After the conversation she continued to look through her menuโs the looked up to ask how many. After we told her 2 she asked us to wait as she went through empty restaurant (5 tables had people ) to see where we could sit. After seated, we waited an unusually long period of time before we were acknowledged. After that , service and food were great, hostess should be trained to acknowledge people, even if they canโt assist them immediately

I am so upset, the manger Shavon, was rude dam their called me a liar, poor customer service and rude. We left.these birthday reservations were planned or over a month. Myself as well as the rest of the party didn't feel comfortable. Waitress and the manger were both rude and have to be best friends We wanted 30 mints for our 3:00 pm reservation. I asked for Cooperate office and she gave me the restaurant number I will never visit this location again. I'm filing a complaint as well.
