Worst premium Steakhouse experience in years! Don’t throw your money away, go next door to the Edison instead!
Ordered a Prime Rib for $69 and received two 1/4" thick pieces of fatty grizzle layered on top of each other. Absolutely disgusted, received nothing in the way of consideration from the restaurant manager on duty, other than him saying that corporate is in transition to change the type of cut. We spent $215 for one glass of wine for each of us, at $20 eaxh and a side of potatoes was $19 which had a spicy jalapeño topping that wasn't noted on the menu. I had far better Prine Rib for 1/3 of the price at fine dining establishments. This place can't hold a candle to steak places like Ruth Chris or Capital Grill. Don't waste your money!!

It's been a minute.... I felt the need to write about this one. Wow... Don't really know how to tell you this, but, this place is highly overpriced for a wanna be club atmosphere steakhouse. We went with friends (3 couples) and we could not hear the server or ourselves because the music was so damn loud. We are having dinner at a premium and I can't hear my friend from the other side of the table. Totally totally asinine. I ordered the fish and chips... $66 Fish was cold. Did I complain about it... No. Why would I? By the time the server came back to check on us 5 minutes had already passed. Of course... The service, for the price being charged, should be impeccable. If someone had checked on us in a timely manner, two minutes or one or two bites into the dish I might have sent it back. Anyway..... Super OVER priced and certainly not worth a return. Sorry.
Be the first to ReplyA disappointing visit to STK Orlando Disney Springs
Visited STK Orlando Disney Springs. This was not to expectation. Inside this restaurant the settings were lavish and the staff polite and welcoming. We were seated at the rear of the restaurant. It’s quite cool in there so bring an extra jersey or dress a little warmer. My wife ordered the fish and chips and I ordered the 10 oz filet steak and truffle fries. The chips and fries were the same but for the truffle seasoning. For my starter I had a corn pudding and for dessert I had the apple pie. Let me tell you what I did enjoy in the meal, the apple pie. The rest was average at best and whilst I do realise this is only an opinion and our perception I still struggle to see the high standard compared to value. My wife’s fish and chips was bland and the fish wasn’t the flaky white fillet finish I would expect for this price. The steak was an ok standard, the truffle fries were overwhelmed with garlic. This was simply disappointing from our experience point of view. I have to say value was overall poor.
Be the first to ReplyDon't waste your time and money. Better places in Disney Springs.
Horrible experience spent $365.00 on an hour wait for main course and a waiter who can't handle multiple tables. Check #1399 & #2709 with Natali upstairs by the bar. I tried to do the private email review about your experience instead of a public review but received no response... seems like they really don't care about their customers experience. Save your money and go somewhere better Council Oaks, Maggiano's, The Boathouse etc... not worth the money or experience.
Be the first to ReplyAvoid this place it was awful : (
I am sorry to say the food was completely awful. It was our first and last visit. I don't usually leave reviews but it was that bad. We got apps at happy hour. The popcorn chicken was absolutely disgusting. It literally appeared to be the trash pieces left over from day before. It was scraps of poor pieces of meat in completely random shapes of all sizes. The meatballs were so dry it was hard to eat. I didn't finish it was so dry. And the beef tartar uhm . . where was it hiding. You got three nachos with a few specks. You couldn't see or taste it. It was by far one of the worst food experiences we have ever had. There are too many great places to spend money at STK.
Be the first to ReplyGreat place !
We decided last minute to come here on our last night in Disney Springs. It wasn’t that busy surprisingly but sat inside and the service was very good. The food is great but far from cheap, a meal for 2 with couple drinks was over 400 dollars but enjoyed it still.

Terrible service! The food was good, not great. The hostess and servers are terrible. I couldn’t believe this was a high end steakhouse. I would not return here if the meal was free.

Ok, being a resident of Florida for 30 years I don’t go to tourist spots, but I will be going back to stk. Gonzo you were amazing, you made me feel like I was eating at your house. Bradley, Joey, Eric, Sean and all the team members i missed thank you so much. The ambiance of the place is spectacular. The lamb chops were so perfect and tender. The ribeye was seasoned perfectly and cooked to the perfect temp. Now I usually sit at the bar, but with such great servers I will be conflicted on my next visit. You have one over customers for life! Thank you thank you thank you, when I speak of STK I will speak of the excellent service and amazing food. What a memorable night.

Tried this restaurant as we liked the look of the menu. Starters were ok but was very disappointed with mains. Both of us ordered rib eye steak to be medium. Mine was just about medium but my partners was more towards rare and had blood still running from it. I would guess it hadn’t been rested enough. But the worst thing was that everything was so heavily salted that it ruined the taste. It was not just the steaks but the sides as well. This ruined the taste of everything. The bill came to over $400 for two starters, two mains and two glasses of wine and might have been just about ok if the food had been alright but was really overpriced for what it was. I will not be going back and would not recommend this restaurant to anyone else.

Staff & atmosphere no existent . My partner and I arrived a few minutes late for our reservation - due to an issue with parking , when we arrived I apologised and advised of my name, the host who checked us in appeared ( I can only explain as) dead inside. She pointed to the desk behind her and told us (not ask) walk in, we then had to relay the same information to the next desk- how pointless! We were guided to our table - weather was beautiful this day, however it was extremely hot and the sun was directly on the table we were issued, I asked if we could move to the one next to ours as it was shaded, the (let’s call her) second host seemed annoyed by our request and made us walk back to desk 2 to change the table. At this point, it would have made sense to seat us at the shaded table and she could have made the changes for us, so we were walked around like lost sheep…. I’ll keep the rest brief Food was ok, but not worth the prices - way over priced in my opinion. Plus food choices not available and it was only 5pm - waiter had no clue The ambience is none existent - some guy singing so loud you couldn’t talk to one another until he had a break - what a joke. Waiters everywhere but nowhere to be seen to offer drinks and assistance when needed. They also only seemed to be able to help if they were your assigned waiter/waitress…. They also had no personality and their vibe seemed agitated and not wanting to be there. Please DON’T bother with this restaurant- go to the fish and chips around the corner - cheaper and staff super helpful. STK management if reading this, get yourself down the this restaurant and see for yourself- I guess sadly in a nutshell the name STK sells the product and they don’t need to push for quality and appearances as for every 5 negative reviews the next lot of holiday makers are passing through!

Okay, here’s the deal… if a restaurant is going out of the way to ask about food allergies, then I’m expecting some sort of follow up with the wait staff, cooks, etc. Nope. Nothing. We stopped in for happy hour and were immediately asked about food allergies. We said yes, our daughter has a tree nut and gluten allergy. No problem. We were seated several minutes later and repeated same allergies to our first waiter. He said he would relay that information to the executive chef. We had waiter #2 bring our food and luckily I asked if the items we ordered were gluten and tree nut free. He said no. All 3 things had been breaded in flour or contained a flour tortilla. We then had to order the steak and frites so our daughter had something to eat. We had a 3rd waiter come back to clear plates and ask if we wanted anything else. We ordered another steak and frites for our daughter. This is all happy hour food, so use your imagination on how small these food items could possibly be. The food was actually good for being so mini sized. We were seated in the sun. I used my left hand to shield the sun, my daughter had to face away from my husband to avoid the sun in her eyes. A nice couple seated near us offered to drag a big umbrella over, but it would have been too complicated. I finally asked a passing waitress if we could get our check as we had not seen waiters #1-3 in a while. She came back with our check within a few minutes. As I was paying, someone else came to refill our water glasses. A little too late at that point. Beyond disappointed with this place. Would definitely NOT recommend this restaurant.
Be the first to ReplyLoud, poor food and over priced.
When we were seated we were told that STK was a fine dining experience. The initial impressions weren’t that of a fine dining experience as there was loud music playing and the noise of other diners made it feel more like a diner. The food came out 45 minutes after ordering and had an overpowering taste of salt and pepper. The fillet steak was cooked how I asked for however when all you taste is salt it was horrid. Potatoes also just tasted of too much salt. All in all for the cost it was very disappointing. I’ve had better meals at the Cheesecake Factory.
Be the first to ReplyLobster made me sick as a dog.
I NEVER get physically sick from food but this place did it. I knew the lobster was not sweet like it should have been but it didn’t taste bad. The steak was wonderful. I was not back at my resort very long when it decided it did not & was not going to stay in my stomach. For a meal with no sides, just steak & lobster with no sides for $100 I truly expected better. I won’t be back.
Be the first to ReplyWhat a joke!
We went for happy hour and paid an enormous amount $60Cdn for one drink and 3 appetizers. The appetizers were pathetic - we nearly laughed at the waitress- she had described the steak frites appetizer with bernaise sauce like as if it would be a reasonable portion - it was a joke - two fries underneath the smallest piece of meat you’ve ever seen. We won’t be back - what a stupid thing for a restaurant to do - rip us off and think we’ll be back for a meal another time? I don’t think so.
Be the first to ReplyOverpriced. Overrated.
Do NOT waste your money or time here. I will say, the environment was fun and lively, but that’s about the only compliment I have. I Was very optimistic after reading reviews.. however was NOT the case. My husbands steak had little to no pink, almost well done after he ordered it medium. I ordered the Lobster linguine & the waiter informed me it had a Cajun spice to it, and after I went to change my order he informed me the staff could hold the Cajun spice blend no issue. It was served to me with the Cajun blend. Water was refilled once during the meal after leaving us with empty glasses until after our meal was delivered. Almost $200 and an absolute waste.
Be the first to ReplySTK is an awful place don’t go! Stay away and run fast!
This was a a terrible experience! The waiters were rude, obnoxious, and arrogant! We asked the manager to intervene and he did nothing! Awful Awful and massively expensive for no reason.
Be the first to ReplyGreat Food & Atmosphere
We ate at about 14 restaurants during our stay at Disney World Orlando, and this one is at the top of our list. If you like steak, it's a must-try. The service was great and the food even better! If you order the meat and add a side, keep in mind the side is a pretty large portion and could even feed 2 people. So depending on the size of steak for example, when you add a side, it can be a pretty substantial meal. The do not have a kids menu, but they have options as appetizers that would work (we got the Lil' Brgs (2 steak burger sliders) and that was perfect for our 5 year old. Plus, they could share one of the sides with you. This place has to be on your list when visiting!
Be the first to ReplyHappy hour!
Second time we have stopped by here in the afternoon for their happy hour. Smallish selection but both wines we had were good, and everything we had from the happy hour food menu (small tapas style plates) fun and delicious. A wonderful spot to sit outside and people watch, or inside is lovely as well. Excellent service.
Be the first to ReplyNot great!
This restaurant is the absolute worst restaurant we have been to on Disney property. We came here for lunch on a Wednesday afternoon. For starters the service is horrible. The girls at the front desk to check you in have absolutely no personality whatsoever. There was no greeting, no introduction, nothing. Not one smile. We finally get sat and she tried to put us at a hightop without asking if we would like a regular table first. We now had to wait another 10 mins. Once we sat, we waited another 7 to 10 mins for our server to come over and take our drink order. 20 mins later after we called over a manager, we were able to finally get water and a drink! Our server disappeared and suddenly was behind the bar taking orders and making drinks. We were forgotten altogether. Now he finally comes back after 15 mins or so and we order our food. 2 burgers and it literally took 45 mins to get our meals. Definitely disappointed in this place. We were not the only ones complaining. The manager was useless and unfortunately it reflects on the staff! The food was just OK. It's a shame that our first visit will be our last. For the prices we definitely expected better.
Be the first to ReplyPlease Read - it’ll explain the negative reviews
Ok - so there are MANY very poor reviews. I think I can help others avoid this. 1. This is on Disney premesis and there can be major delays depending on when you get there. This is the same for most park restaurants 2. This place isn’t cheap - and honestly if it’s more than you’re on for table spending I don’t think you’ll be impressed. 3. Their steaks are dry aged. This makes them far more $ and unique. Mostly high end steak houses provide dry aged steaks. The flavor is “funky” and not for everyone. If you don’t like the flavor of the steak that is why. That said - if you DO like dry aged steaks their steaks have a strong dry aged flavor, are cooked well and are are a great consistency. The dips are great as is presentation. I had Brussels sprouts and corn sides and they were both top notch. Service was great and the desserts were good. I recommend cookie and ice cream or chocolate cake. So - if you’re willing to be patient, pay a fair bit and like dry aged steaks I think STK will be a very enjoyable experience for you. If you don’t like (or don’t know if you like) dry aged steaks and it’s a stretch at these prices probably look elsewhere. For the record I love steak but personally don’t like dry aged. I’ve had it at 4 top rated restaurants and I greatly prefer “normal” steak or wet aged.

Had the worst experience ever here. Yes my names Karen lol but I am not normally one to complain. Went here as a special occasion for my mums 60th - shocking experience. The waiter was rude (normally top class service in America!) … felt everything was an issue. I asked for my fillet steak medium -rare (same as everyone else in my party) .. out it came but was overdone a lot. Took ages to get attention and normally I would just eat it but not when in paying 80 dollars for the steak alone. Finally got attention and the waiter was so rude about it. Eventually brought new steak out for me (everyone else in my party had finished eating) … and all my sides that were on my plate had gone. After all issues they added 20% service charge to our bill. Very expensive meal with a terrible experience.
Be the first to ReplyWaited and waited and waited.
Simply put…..awful. We didn’t get past the lazy so-called staff without being looked up and down. We waited for 30mins past our reservation time to be seated and in the end gave up. When we went to cancel as we had other plans we had to meet, the staff member looked down on us and then rolled her eyes at us. Truly and awful experience that I will certainly not be recommending this restaurant to anyone and actively telling them how poor the initial service was.

Not too bad. Make reservations it gets busy fast. No children’s menu but they have items that will satisfy them. The calamari was good, salmon and steak were good. Service was top notch. Tried the watermelon martini but was not impressed for $21. I would highly recommend!!
Be the first to ReplyOverpriced and Underwhelming!
This place was a real disappointment. Poor service…. Waitress kept disappearing. Never asked us if we were enjoying our meal or if everything was to our satisfaction. Dropped off the check and she was gone. Took forever to get our drink orders and meal. Prices were exorbitant. No sides accompanied the entree…. Everything was a la carte. Go somewhere else. This place doesn’t know how to treat a customer. Needless to say our tip reflected our lack of service.
Be the first to ReplyFood So Good I didn't Mind the Cost!
We were a table of four with reservations. Let me start off by saying that we have not had a dinner that was this delicious in a very long time.
Philip was our server and he was absolutely excellent - very personably, helpful and attentive. Any special requests were no problem for him.
Cocktails are going to cost you about $21 each, but they were well-made.
We had the Calamari and Blue Iceberg lettuce wedge for appetizers and both were excellent. We've never had a lettuce wedge that was a good as this one. Calamari can be a hit or miss at a restaurant, but this was definitely a hit!
Two of us had the Sea Bass and two of us had the 10oz Filet. The Filets were perfectly cooked and just melted in your mouth. The best I've had in a very long time. The Sea Bass was absolutely amazing - so very tasty! It was a little bit small, but the taste made up for it. My wife goes for the Chilean Sea Bass whenever it's available and she said this was the best she ever had. We had sides of Brussel Sprouts, Mushrooms, and Yukon Mashed Potatoes - all at $18 each and all excellent.
The bill for the four of us, including gratuity was $630.00, so be prepared for a costly dinner. However, I really don't mind paying top dollar for a dinner that was this good. After paying the bill we still had smiles on our faces. It's THAT good!
We'll be back.
