Friendly staff, good ambiance, delicious seafood! My only "complaint" was that our food wasn't coursed, as requested. We wanted to start with oysters, then soup, then the two entrees for third course. Everything was brought out at once and we barely had any room on our table to eat comfortably.

Stopped here for a quick bite and to take a break from walking. I sat in the outside area, adjoining the sidewalk from which it was separated by a clear plastic curtain (cuts down the noise - and I suppose keeps passers-by from stealing your food!) I ordered an oyster sampler, side of red rice, and a drink. 6 oysters (roasted, not raw), 2 of each kind: garlic parmesan, Rockerfeller, and Casino. Very good and the oysters were on the large side. Not cheap though ($24) My only complaint is they were served with Lance crackers rather than bread which would be better to get the last of the juices. The rice: tomatoey and strongly flavored with smoked andouille. Just slightly overcooked. A little slow in coming; they "were just making up a new batch." The house-branded hot sauce was good on the rice. Drink: Thunderpunch: a frozen rum-based concoction with pineapple and cranberry juices and yellow Red Bull. (Red Bull? What, am I a twenty-something?) Perfect frozen consistency, completely smooth, grain-free, and very easy to get brain freeze from. Not a "craft cocktail" by any means but I enjoyed it very much. Just one star off perfection for the delay on the rice and slight overcooking, the saltine crackers, and the disposable plastic drink cup. I'd certainly consider getting a full meal here.

Be the first to ReplyYOU SHOULD BE SORRY CHARLIE.
.. you left me with a heart attack bill and my stomach unsatisfied. My meal left much to be desired.
Be the first to ReplyHappy hour house oysters was totally worth it.
Came back back the next night with a party of 7 and took almost 2.5 hours to get a table. Shrimp po boy was good but could have used more shrimp. Shrimp and grits were ok. The shrimp were excellent but the grits has no seasoning. I will say this -- every other city and restaurant in the world needs to adopt the payment system that the majority of Savannah restaurants use. It was efficient and easy to split the bill.

Started on 1st floor with she crab soup - excellent! Moved to 2nd level tiki bar with tequila mule and loaded crab fries - can't even begin to use enough adjectives to descibe this menu item. Line up in the rain for this - it's insane

Upon arriving, we were a bit intimidated by the crowd on the first floor. Felt like we may have to wait forever and it was a bit loud for my taste (I actually like to talk to my husband)..... lol.... But then we discovered they have a rooftop lounge! Up we went to see if it was too cold for us Floridians or too packed - it was perfect!!! Aubrey was our server and we told her we were starving and wanted one of everything! She was great! The food was fast, fresh and fantastic! The cherry on top was the sour raspberry ale - gotta find some of these back home! We will definitely visit again when we come through Savannah!

Amazing food! We split the roasted oysters trio, hush puppies, and crab cakes. All were delicious! Highly recommend stopping in for some good food.

Great service especially with our group of 7. Yummy cocktails and good beer selection. Loved the oysters.
Be the first to ReplyGreat food, great service and the ambiance is appealing.
I have never experienced Shrimp and grits the way they prepare them but I could not stop eating them...they were delicious with almost a gumbo twist. Excellent! The oysters were amazing and the bartenders were fast and super friendly and attentive. We had a blast here!! Highly recommend!!!

Emily was a delight and gave wonderful service! The crab stew was okay, but the blue crab fettuccine was a hit. Looking for a laid back bar environment this definitely the place to go. There are also two other floors of bar vibes.

Bartender was personable and very nice! Oysters were delicious, but very expensive. Pain killer drinks were delicious and in very pretty cups! The bar was spacious and just overall fun to be at. Hush puppies with pimento cheese and butter were a little dry, but still good! We would return the Next time we're in Savannah!
Be the first to ReplyFish-House Punch is a winner every time we visit.
Couple that with the Best-ever Happy Hour deals featuring fresh oysters from local waters, and other delectables. Biggest DEAL? Fresh oysters $1 each 4-6p M-Th. UM...

Be the first to ReplyStopped for quick lunch.
Server was very nice and attentive. Ordered raw oysters and they were good but not great. Gumbo was so so. Crab claws not our typical, flavor was very mild, felt almost frozen. May stop again if in a rush and on budget.
Be the first to ReplyFood is ok.
Service is less than ok. Bathrooms are nasty. Oysters are less than ok. Just an honest review. Fun atmosphere for drinks.

First and Foremost I want to start by saying our server was incredible--- the food however was NOT great. The seared Grouper at $30 a meal was horrible- No flavor and Super Dry, the Blue Crab Cakes taste like they were frozen out of a box, The Gumbo had no flavor- it Taste like something that came out of a can, the Oysters were ok but it's sort of hard to mess oysters up-- all in all- we will never go back there to eat- and if you have facilities they are absolutely disgusting- SUPER GROSS.

Tried a few items here - low country boil and a shrimp po boy. Low country boil was good, but got repetitive and could have had a little more of a kick to it. Shrimp on the po boy were tasty, but the shrimp to bread ratio was off and wound up leaving a portion of the bread on the plate. A friend got a creamy pasta dish that they said was great. Nice covered outdoor seating.

Had a dozen house oysters. Shrimp cocktail. And what the hell is boiled peanuts? I will tell you what boiled peanuts are delicious. Definitely recommend.

Best shrimp and grits we had on our trip to savannah! Oysters were also solid! If you're looking for a solid dish of shrimp and grits, this is your place!
Be the first to ReplyStopped in for oysters and a cocktail.
The bloody Mary was not good. It had a very sour taste and it might have had a drop of vodka...maybe. The oysters were good. Definitely go for the oysters.
Be the first to ReplyRaw Oysters were fine.
Grilled was good. Oysters on po-boy we're small and too much breading. Shrimp and grits were very good.
