Si.ba.ki Bunkyo City Reviews from The Last Year
A store where a friend of mine works
It was a very cold day, with snow forecast for Tokyo that day. Went to lunch with my beloved I-san and friends. We had been saying for a while that we should go to the workplace of our mutual acquaintance D-san, and finally we decided to go for lunch. I had asked I-san to make a reservation, he said he reserved the omakase course. It was right next to Myogadani Station. The restaurant has a casual feel and is lovely! Starting with the amuse bouche, the appetizer, fish dish, meat dish, dessert, and bread, everything was delicious. The amuse bouche was oyster-flavored flan. It had a gentle taste with the flavor of oysters, and I liked the smoked yellowtail appetizer the best. The fish dish had an orange sauce, which was refreshing. I can't eat wild boar, so I had beef instead. The red wine sauce was absolutely delicious. I want to come back soon.

I have some reservations coming up tomorrow that have gotten lots of views but haven’t sold yet. I haven’t made a sale yet since I just joined this week. I keep lowering the price, but am worried they won’t sell. How long did it take you to sell your first reservations? And did you have success being reimbursed by AT for no-show or cancellation fees? Just looking for a little reassurance. Thanks!

You should probably cancel prior to the cancellation date per the cancellation policy. I would imagine you would only get reimbursed for a sold listing if you happen to be charged?

My first sale took about a week. But as the other commenter said stay ontop of your cancellation windows. There’s no reimbursement for those so make sure you cancel in time then just try again.
