Service was non existent.
Which is ok if it's reflected in the price. You help yourself to $8.00 beers and write down on a blackboard how much you drank. I ordered fish dip because they were out of the majority of the items on the menu. Which was surprising since nobody was there. The dip came in a bowl the size of a coffee cup and cost $18.00. The dip was extremely salty and over spiced. I was starving but couldn't finish it. Summary two beers and bad dip $30.00 before tip. They did have a very good band. I should have known better because the place was empty on a Saturday night. Advice...drop the prices and make twice the money.

Shore to Door is a fabulous find in Coconut Grove where you can come as you are, get the freshest seafood in town and enjoy the friendly, casual atmosphere. The special treat is the live music on Saturday afternoons!
Be the first to ReplyThe quality of food was okay.
. but the portion is small. I got a fried yellowtail snapper and some fish bites which costed over $50, and didn't fill me up.

Came here after seeing it on social media and let's just say I won't be going back. For 2 small conch salads and let me emphasize on the small size. Let's just say imagine a kids ice cream scope. A small fish dip And two beers I paid $67 plus tip. I won't say the taste was terrible but it's not the Bahamas. I think the prices are not appropriate for the type of food and environment.
Be the first to ReplyThis is the best fresh seafood place I've been to in Miami.
They only cook what they caught that week. The wahoo biters are out of this world!

Amazing local spot with great fish fries and other fresh fish to choose from. Ambiance is Florida Keys chill. Grab a beer, have some fish and just relax. Love this place a lot.

Unexpected location, fresh seafood , friendly service on a old Florida authentic atmosphere.Keep your own tap of drinks on a chalkboard. In the mood for lobster or fresh stone crabs just preorder
Be the first to ReplyReally enjoyed the laid back Keys vibe, decor, etc.
They have a cooler where you can help yourself to beers and water and keep track of what you've taken on a chalkboard. Love that! The food was good but a bit pricey for what you get and prices aren't shown when ordering. We shared a whole snapper, smoked fish dip, and about 4 domestic beers and a water. Paid $94 for that. The fish was cooked well but lacked a bit of flavor and was served with plantain chips and pickled veggies. I'd seen in other photos that it came with rice but none was served that day. Overall I'm glad I experienced it but not sure I'd go back.
Be the first to ReplyLoved this place! Extremely welcoming staff and band.
It was very fun! Take in the crowd, music, drinks and food. Had the smoked fish dip - A++.
Be the first to ReplyWe went on a Sunday, as we are from CG.
What a dissapointment! Whole fish was small and expensive, conch salad almost a sample. We felt a rip-off! Absolutely dissapointed! Never again! Avoid this scam

I can't say much as the day I stopped by the only thing available was enough stone crab for 2...lucky us?! Still haven't decided. Regardless, the crab was fresh and delicious & the mustard sauce was perfection. Interestingly enough we weren't offered beverages, which was weird. We decided that we think the store was actually closed but that the door was open the person working was cleaning wanted cross ventilation and we weren't turned away because we had mentioned calling the week prior to see when they were open.I'm not going to be critical, I will be back to try an actual meal give a fair review!

The food was fine and the atmosphere is funky but this is a place where you go with the understanding that you will be paying dearly for both. We will be back in about a year because, given the cost, that is all I can justify to myself to spend on food that was fresh but just okay. By the way they do not post the prices so ask before you order...you may be surprised regarding the cost.
Be the first to ReplyFirst let me say I was really late to the party : the Shore
First let me say I was really late to the party : the Shore to Door party! ย Living in CG for almost two years and no one has told my about this place (clearly I need new friends!). So tonight My husband and I stopped in to pick up some fish at the market. Little did I know this place was also a restaurant & has live music on the weekends! We decided on key west shrimp and some yellow snapper. I was cooking at home so we had to pass on chance to hang out and pretend we were cool drinking beer & music on a Sunday night but we will be back for that!Getting back to the fish, when I got home I stuck the fish in the fridge and a couple hours later I took it out to prepare. First when I opened the bag I was like huh ? I could smell nothing except the sea. This was the absolute freshest fish I have purchased in a long time! I did a cilantro garlic marinade and my husband grilled it. Both the snapper & shrimp were beyond excellent. This place (& the area it resides ) is a very old area of the Grove with lots of history. No one is going to valet you car. You will have to park it on own , but I promise it's worth it .
Be the first to ReplyA chill environment.
Its like a beach bar without the beach ย . Supper fresh fish and conch salad
Be the first to ReplyAfter a much anticipated visit, we ended up disappointed.
On the plus side, the ambiance is neat, and the fish was fresh and local. However, the price was outrageous for what we ordered and the flavor of the food was ok. For two orders of wahoo bites (although the portion was at least decent, this is an appetizer), two orders of fish dip and two beers, our bill was $85 ($95 with tip)! Note to self, always ask the price up front if its not listed.
Be the first to ReplyAmazing experience here.
Was spotless for a fish market and didn't smell fishy. What a perfect and inviting location nestled in coconut grove. Owner was very kind and even showed me how to filet the fish. Highly recommend. Going soon for that infamous fish dip!
Be the first to ReplyBeyond amazing quality of fresh seafood without the glamor.
The atmosphere is like being in a remote island with fresh seafood dishes like fish dip, sashimi, ceviche, and other great recipes. There's music and great food in a super relaxed backyard
Be the first to ReplyFresh delicious outstanding.
ย Thank you Indira and crew. ย A needed venue ย don't miss this delightful place.

This is one of the coolest, most unique places I've been and have yelp to thank for appearing when I searched for seafood markets. ย You know those types of small, hidden tropical beach shack type restaurants which serve up whatever came out of the ocean that day, well this is just like that but tucked away in Miami. ย The owner and staff are just as cool like if they're operating it on some small island rather than a big city.I walked in and just asked for whatever they suggested and they offered up some snapper fried with a couple sides, sounded perfect to me and check my photo to see how delicious it looked and was! ย The back patio was great to eat at, they had some big fans going, big umbrellas to get shade and some Manu Chao on the radio. ย Can't wait to come back and I hope it never changes!
Be the first to ReplyNot really a seafood person so just wanted a snack.
Got the seafood dip and chips it was very good. To be honest not what I expected to see when I went inside but everyone was especially friendly. Would definitely return.
