Great time
It was my partner and I’s first time in PB and we had a wonderful time! Our server Vanessa recommended such great food and was so sweet and welcoming to helping us with our incredibly picky pallets. So nice when you see authentic Italians working in an Italian restaurant.
Be the first to ReplyWe enjoyed it
A pleasant experience in a new upscale shopping area. Yes the prices are a lot but it’s Palm beach where the people (and car) watching is part of the fun. The attention and food both excellent. The hostess gave us a time when she could accommodate and that’s exactly when we sat down.

Big Bucks, no Whammies !!! Every appitizer starts with a 3. But you know that going in. All there locations are situated in zip codes which can handle these prices. Most customers aren't foodies. The mission is to be seen there and at a cocktail party tell your friends you take sandwiches home weelkly for the guys who clean your pool. Still with the exception of the lobster roll we enjoyed our meal. At $57 its an outrage. I would encourage any tic tocker or anyone who post videos to shoot a video of the lobster roll. If I knew how to make a video I would seperate the roll the filler and the lobster meat. The public would view and share the video a million times. I promise that whoever makes the video will be an isntant success ,
Be the first to ReplyTerrible service. Elitist Attitude and Average Food.
Terrible service. Elitist Attitude and Average Food. The sommelier is absolutely pretentious and made us feel so unwelcome. I will spare the details.

Kind of depressing. Half-empty dining room. Tired seeming staff. Wine list is a joke of BS. Food is not Italian but fake gastro chic. Clientele to be avoided, no-manners bling.

Ok the place has a great palm beach vibe. The staff is attentive and nice. The sunflower bread was excellent and the desserts all looked terrific. However the chicken sandwich and fries was not even as good as chick filet to be honest. The burger was ordinary and the fries did not taste fresh cut and fried. They were decent but I suspect they are frozen. The prices are nose bleed expensive for extremely ordinary food. I will not return ever.

I've had many nice meals here but lately the food has gone downhill. The soup special, potato leek was flavorless with crunchy potatoes and no visible leeks. The conchigli alla aragosta had only a few tiny bits of seafood. I'll be sticking with Renato's and Trevini for Italian food in the future.
Be the first to ReplyA Wonderful Birthday luncheon!
Wonderful Birthday lunch! This was my fourth time here in 5 weeks bringing friends or family for lunch. This Birthday lunch was wonderful and that is why this is a favorite place of mine to eat. We were greeted by Alicia, a manager who makes every quest feel welcomed! The other managers there were also warm and friendly. Our meal was so delicious! All courses starting with the Pizza appetizer to Gelato and birthday cake for dessert were outstanding! Our main courses of Pasta selections were excellent of which mine was served with crab meat. The atmosphere is lovely, and our server was very kind and helpful. The food is so great here, but the friendly managers, hostesses and servers make this restaurant special and 5 star in every way!
Be the first to ReplyBelow average yet overpriced dinner, but exceptional desserts
Stacey and I have the simplest advice for anyone reading these words. Do not eat a meal here. You’ll find the food to be, at best average and, at worst, well below average. However, notwithstanding the poor quality and often worse preparation of the food, I promise you that they will not hesitate to charge 5-star restaurant prices for their 3-star bill of fare. Pass on the food! Instead… Strategy: Eat dinner somewhere else - at one of hundreds of restaurants in the Palm Beaches that are far better than this place - then return for dessert. Their gelato is rich, creamy, and delicious. The pastries, cakes, tarts, etc. are sublime. Kudos to their wonderful and talented pastry chefs! Do enjoy! See, Stacey and I have saved you from a disappointing meal, however we’ve pointed you in the direction of a magnificent dessert experience. You are most welcome!

This place is going downhill. When Vincent ain't working, the place is chaotic. Not the same service and quality
Be the first to ReplyVery elegant Italian-themed restaurant in middle of Palm Beach shopping district
Sant Ambroeus is a very elegant Italian-themed restaurant in middle of Palm Beach shopping district. Prices can be steep, but the food & service was good. I had the chicken panini followed by the mixed fruit gelato, both of which were good. This restaurant is close to the Henry Flagler Museum, so combining them is a nice afternoon excursion.
Be the first to ReplyOutrageous customer service and prices
Planned breakfast with my wife and 4 mo old poppy poodle. Tried call3 times a couple days in advance, no answer, no call back Made reservations on resy, upon arrival only available in door, extremely unpleasant receptionist and overall very disappointing. Dinned many times in NYC, expensive but well worth it, here very different story Strongly not recommend Alex
Be the first to ReplyGROSS STAFF
Today I went to go get Gelato & coffee with my family. As a waited I witnessed the most disgusting things ever at a Restaurant and was shocked to see this at a high end restaurant like this. A man that serves the Gelato and handles various other tasks, takes his hand with no gloves and touches the cake to move it center of plate and licks his fingers if that was not gross enough he takes a knife cuts another piece of cake and than licks the knife!!! He than puts the knife in the water with the gelato scoopers. It grossed me out and I went to the manager to cancel my order and get my money back. She was trying to tell me that I didn't see him do that and making it almost like I was trying to get a free Gelato. WOULD NEVER GO BACK! If I can see staff doing that with no regard of me watching, I can just imagine what goes on in the kitchen that you cannot see! That person should be fired for that unsanitary and gross behavior
Be the first to ReplyFor the rich and famous ....
A busy place on a Friday lunch in January. Location is nice in Palm Beach and the outdoor seating is pleasant. The quality of the food is OK but nothing to write home about. Obviously the prices of the items on the menu are just a selection process not to have the regular people show-up. Appetizers start at $30 just to give you an idea. Service was fine and friendly. It's a fashion show to watch ladies with fancy dresses at lunch time...but then...it is Palm Beach !
Be the first to ReplyBest brunch w the best people watching there is.
The food is fab, but what is really worth noting is the people watching in this place. Hands down the best. Even better than the Breakers. It is definitely where you go if you want to be seen or if you want to sit back, enjoy the meal, sip on an aperol spritz while enjoying your surroundings. Go ahead! Promise you won’t regret it.
Be the first to ReplyWonderful date night and dinner!
What a wonderful dinner and date night! Having just returned from Italy, we wanted to relive the magical meals we had there. Sant Ambroeus did just that for us. We sat outside and had excellent service. The food was delicious. We couldn't decide between 3 deserts and chose two. Our amazing waiter didnt want us to miss out and brought us the 3rd to share! The night was so lovely, the food was so good, and we can't wait to return.
Be the first to ReplyThe palm beach experience
If you want to experience palm beach vibe with its fancy, vain and expensive taste, that’s the place to be. Sitting area inside and outside is quite nice. Although it can be pricy, food was good. Service was also friendly and excellent. Will definitely come back when in Palm Beach
Be the first to ReplyLet down by poor service and greeters
We popped in this morning for coffee and breakfast as we have done several times in the past. However, today there was no greeter and no staff around to help. We then waited outside for ten minutes as we wanted a table outdoors. Being out of season they were very quiet so we thought as there were several empty tables and it was only 10am they’d be able to accommodate us. Eventually after asking three servers who told us just to wait! We found the right person, who told us all those tables were busy but we could sit inside! Terrible service! No friendly greeting, very snobby staff and clearly empty tables they wouldn’t seat us at so we left and will not go back again!
Be the first to ReplyOver priced for just ok food
over priced/lackluster food....just ok lots of money for small pasta plates....$38.00 for glass of champagne....veal and mushrooms with truffles....underwhelming
Be the first to ReplyDo not make the mistake of thinking that you are dining in a fine restaurant just because you are paying for one!
Tiny overpriced portions of mediocre food served by an uninformed and crude waitstaff. Frozen French fries served as though they were serving actual hand cut fries. Heck, McDonalds are far superior! The audacity to up-charge $2.00 for a slice of onion and $9.00 for 1/2 of an avocado. You ask for city water and they “accidentally” bring a bottle ov over pry flat water then they demand that you pay for it. Come for the desserts. They’re excellent. Everything else, pass, run, get away. Just take a $100 bill out of your wallet, burn it, then go somewhere for a decent meal.
Be the first to ReplyA Has-Been, Tired, Mismanaged Venue with terrible service
We came, we sat at our table. We waited 10 minutes. They told us there was no service in the pastry shop, go to the bar. We went to the bar, took a table. Waited 15 minutes. No service. Waiters passing to and fro all the while. We decided to get some pastry to go while we waited. They are out of pastry (biccolori, fan cookes and and looked like everything else was out of stock too.)
We spent $10,000 at this restaurant last seasonr. Wont be back. They have been wiped out by Covid or a management change. All new faces, nobody knows what is going on. They need a new manager.
Stuck us on the Wine
We went to Sant Ambroeus in Palm Beach for a special Sunday evening Christmas Celebration with friends. We found the Service not on par for a higher end dining experience. We had a Cocktail in the Bar prior to dinner and the pricing while a bit on the pricey side was within expectations and that is fine. When we ordered a Pinot Noir for dinner the server gave us a $37/$38 dollar per glass and not the $23 Pinot Nero which was on the menu without mentioning the difference in price. I totally understand a bit higher pricing level for drinks, however, the move from a $23 dollar to $37 dollar per glass seems inappropriate by most standards. When we brought it to her attention after we had paid for our dinner, she was not empathetic and said the higher priced (by the way not spectacular) glass was served. The economy is strong and paying for great service, food and drinks can command premium pricing, however, I may be old fashion, but when you pay a big price it should be very nice. Unfortunately our experience on this occasion was one of mediocracy and the server was on par with a mid-priced chain restaurant. I'm certain they can do better than this. Maybe my expectations are just too high.
Be the first to ReplySant Ambroeus lost its soul
We were very much looking forward to a real Italian meal...
We haven been here regularly every year in November since the opening.
What a disappointment!
Fritto misto with just about some shrimps and calamari rings in a batter hard and thick like fortune cookies ! Just awful... nobody finished the plate.
Pasta cacio e pepe sticky and glued together and the Paillard di Vitello was as tough as a leather sole.
When expanding, quality control becomes a challenge.
Right now, the food served in Palm Beach does not live up to the standards of the house.
Back to the source !
Slow and annoying
We set at bar and received the most condescending service ever,
Never again, so many good places with caring and smiling employees
A Special Birthday luncheon!
This is such a wonderful place for lunch, brunch or dinner! I love coming here for the great food, service and beautiful interiors. Such a pretty place both inside and outside for family gatherings and celebrating special occasions like our Anniversary and Birthdays! This is the 4 th. Birthday party I have given here this year and it was just great! David our server took good care of us! Each course was delicious and he had a candle lit on the Key Lime Tart for the Birthday gal who was honored today. The Gelato here is as good as being in Italy! The best in the USA! Alyssia, a manager always makes us feel welcome and goes out of her way to make our guests feel at home, too. She is delightful and one reason we eat here often. Veal is excellent here alone or with pasta in a delicious sauce. Each soup, salad and main course has been excellent that I have tried, but save room for dessert as they are fabulous here!! This location is much larger than The South Hampton location we have enjoyed summers. Both serve the same great food, but this is the most beautiful of their locations and a huge asset to Palm Beach.
