table location spoiled it for me
we were a group of 5, beautiful weather were told outdoor was full which was clear, indoors was ok, but the took us down / basement level, a very good sized dining area beautifully set , but we were given a table in a cove , literally we were alone, no one is down, but they insisted we sat aside in the cave , dimmed lighting we had a good lunch the food was great, sushi, sashimi, fillet .. all was exceptionally good service was amazing its just the table location, and the basement was all the time empty bathrooms very clean
Be the first to ReplyA decent place with a weird service
The service was a bit confused and because of the interns serving sometimes awkward. Wine by glass wasn’t as good as it should be for that kind of restaurant. Food was good and nicely served. Overall a positive experience, but not overly pleasing
Be the first to ReplyAWFUL FOOD
Awful is exact word to explain this restaurant,Servise was rather bad with inexperienced staff trying to coop but worse than that the quality of the food was really terrible it was so bad that in the middle of our meal we decided to ask for the cheque which was wrong paid and left our waitress was apologetic and she realised everything apart from the Sake was Bad

Bad management, dirty menus, poor lounge interior design and very low quality of food. Also very overpriced.
Be the first to ReplyToday I became a fan of Japanese food
Even though not being a fan of Japanese food I decided to give Sachi a go today as the Roof Garden was fully booked. From start to finish it was wonderful, great service and food. We went with the suggestions of our waitress and each dish fresh and super tasty. You have to have the aubergine... actually you have to give everything a try. Definitely recommend it and will be back. Thank you.

Very nice meal we have been there before for dinner but decided to go for lunch this time. Had a very nice helpful waitress and a charming young French man name of Adrian, The food was excellent sashimi yellowtail and trout was sublime. Would maybe like a little more choice of dishes but we would still definitely return

15-10-2022 Japanese cuisine has to be one of my favourites. Sachi tries its best to add flair to simple dishes (e.g., their aubergine dish comes to mind). My experience was poor due to the service - food would come out as and when they were ready, so don't expect any organisation. We waited nearly 30 mins for vegetable tempura. Service was good, except for one of the managers. A young Frenchman who has no right to be in the service industry with his awful attitude. The night was saved when the floor manager gave us a full refund and apologised for his attitude. Lovely decor, a perfect mix of Japanese and Scandinavian design. Prices were reasonable considering location and quality of food. Value - 3.7/5 Service - 2.5/5 Decor - 4.8/5 Recommend - 1/5 From my plate to yours, YabbaDabbaFood
Be the first to ReplyExcellent food although somewhat limited menu
Elegant setting. Great selection of Shochu and Whiskies. Only had nigiri and maki so can't comment on the rest of the food but sushi was sublime. The service, although friendly, needs some work in terms of paying a bit more attention in terms of refills of wasabi, soya sauce, and drinks.

Brilliant Japanese restaurant. The sushi was extremely fresh and the chicken was superb. The service was exceptional, all extremely polite and friendly. Will 100% be going back and has to be up there with one of the best Japanese restaurants in London!
Be the first to ReplyJapanese food at its best!
Being a Japanese food lover and having visited the land of the rising sun, this is hands down the best Japanese restaurant in London! The venue is stunning and occupies the cellar of Pantechnicon, a unique place where boutique shopping and exquisite Nordic food meets Japanese culture. Sachi is brilliant in every sense, lovely atmosphere, friendly & professional staff and the food took me on a quick trip back to Japan. We were a group of six so we had the chance to order most of the menu, all of the dishes excellent but without a doubt, the highlights were the Wagyu A4 and Tuna Toro, a few of the most remarkable Japanese ingredients. What a fantastic dinner to celebrate Japanese culture & cuisine - thank you!

Exquisite Japanese restaurant. Tables are wide apart. The sashimi was exceptionally fresh and the marinated toro was amazing. Service was very professional. Desserts are also great. Definitely one of the best Japanese restaurants in town.
Be the first to ReplyHats off to the chef!
I have no words to describe my experience here.
We sat at the sushi bar which was great as I could see the chef preparing my food. He was amazing and super attentive when we asked him for recommendations. Unfortunately, I didn't catch his name (East European I believe) but all my compliments to him cos he prepared the best sushi I have eaten in a very long time.
Fresh and tasty!!!
On the bad side, service wasn't up to my standards but I guess that's what you get these days...
This is the only Japanese restaurant in London you need to visit!
This is the best Japanese restaurant I been to in years! Simplicity juxtaposed with warmth in its interior, yet in line with Japanese design. Great acoustics. The background music was in sync with the ambience. The food is out of this world! Responsibly sourced ingredients and prepared with unbelievable care and attention. The flavours were balanced and not over-the-top. This is fine dining without the pretentiousness and inflated prices. The menu has a great variety and caters to food allergies. The cherry on the cake was the professionality of the service. Everyone was extremely friendly and down-to-earth. I’ll definitely will be coming back. Congratulations to Chris the executive chef and his wonderful team.
Be the first to ReplyThe best!
I just enjoyed dinner at Sachi. It is the best Japanese cuisine I enjoyed outside Japan in recent years. The sashimi (raw fish and prawns) was very fresh. The sushi brought back my fond memories of fish market (Tsukiji) in Tokyo. The service was impeccable with very friendly staff. The cost is definitely above average. However, it is value for money, given the high quality of ingredients. It would be a perfect spot for special occasion.
Be the first to ReplyBeyond perfect
Everything about our evening was exceptional - the food was perfect in every respect, the service was attentive, and the ambience could not be bettered (we were seated in one of the gorgeous booths, which I would highly recommend).

Exceptional service and food. They went above and beyond to cater to allergies as well. We sat in the vaulted area which was so so perfect for groups and special occasions.
Be the first to ReplyCan’t reccomend have highly enough!
Went to Satchi for the first time the other night and had an amazing time!!! The food was incredible and it was honestly the best japanese food i’ve ever tried
The service was brilliant and the place is stunning!
Can’t wait to come back !!
Once was enough
The service is chaotic, the portions are tiny and the taste is just ok.
This was a disappointing experience especially as we had wanted to go for a while.
I didn’t have the sushi but the beef was just ok and the salad was nice but very small.
The complementary dessert is a nice touch.
Spent £60 (a salad, tiny bowl of rice and beef) and left still hungry.
Japanese Delight in Style
A Japanese cuisine delight. I took 3 of my (teenage) children for a night out. They chose Japanese, and they wanted to taste the offerings at Sachi - Pantechnicon. What a great choice that was. Top foods. Superb sashimi. Outstanding pork ribs . Delicious miso soup. Sirloin out of this world. Desert to ask for more. Not the mention the pleasant, attentive and down to earth staff. They even showed us the kitchen where we saw how it all happens in the back before the food arrives at the table. Thank you Pantechnicon! You will see us back soon.
Be the first to ReplyLovely place, nice friendly service, reasonably good food and value
Came for dinner, the receptionist was friendly and helpful-a nice welcome, the restaurant staff were vey nice and knowledgeable, the room is very nice and the alcoves in particular special (could use more ventilation), the food was good, the portions on the small side, reasonably good Japanese but not great Japanese, desert was complimentary which is a nice touch but gluten free option (fruits instead), it is ok value maybe expensive for what you get. It is new, I am confident on my next visit it will be 5 stars, we had a lovely evening-thank you.
