beautiful and authentic and I loved the food
Sabor is beautiful and authentic and I loved the food but didn't love the quite aggressive upselling of everything we ordered. It spoilt the experience a bit to be honest but the food really is excellent so if you are prepared for the service style hopefully you'll enjoy your visit a bit more!

This place is small but the food packs a punch full of wonderful flavors. I had the pulpo (octopus) and the quarter of the Suckling Pig. The pulpo was incredibly tender, probably the most tender octopus I've ever had (including from destinations such as Japan and Donostia / San Sebastian). While the suckling pig had a very crispy skin and succulent meat, perfect for sharing. The quarter pig should feed about 2-3 adults. The food was a bit pricy but you should try it at least once because the food is very much worth it. I'd highly recommend reservations for this place as it is limited seating and space.
Be the first to ReplyDelicious food but insufficient space to sit comfortably expensive
The food is delicious and superior to most tapas and the restaurant clearly had a very strong reputation. In a fairly busy pre Easter period our party of three were placed in a tiny corner area literally eating off a narrow shelf not a table nowhere near big enough and the experience felt rushed and uncomfortable. The portions are incredibly small and when sharing with tapas as everyone does you come away still hungry . Admittedly we walked straight up without booking but three very small shared courses each and one shared bottle of wine was just over £100 not the special occasion that the place promises if you don’t have a comfortable space.
Be the first to ReplyOne of the best restaurants in London
One of the best restaurants in London. The food was exceptional and the staff was super friendly and helpful with the menu. The atmosphere was very nice and warm. It would be better if you made an reservation before your visit cause there are not a lot of tables but there is a chance that you might find something without one.
Be the first to ReplyA must! Highly recommended because of food and service
Service was excellent beginning with the host who was able to find us a spot really quick and then Laura and Jose Luis made our night unforgettable!!! Their service and dedication are above everything. Food is amazing, great cocktails as well
Be the first to ReplyStill my favourite restaurant in London!
Been coming here for a couple years and the attention each member of staff give to customers makes you feel you're among friends just like in the first time I came here. It still has the best rice I've ever had and on top of that I get to see the chefs cooking in front of me, which for someone who loves cooking like myself is a big bonus. I want to single out Pedro at the reception and Nicole who was serving us that night for the outstanding service, you can see they enjoy providing a great service and for a Michelin-star restaurant where sometimes being nice is a bit forced, this is truly a gem for me at all levels. Nicole was so kind to go and get me a glass of another wine at the end of service for me to taste and order the next time. Love you guys, will keep coming back!

Be the first to ReplyPerfect experience, delicious dishes
Incredible experience, seeing the preparation of the dishes in front of us. All dishes were perfect, service was excellent. Surprising, as a Michelin restaurant should be.
Be the first to ReplyBest spanish food in London!
Thank you to Luz and her team for having us on New Year's Eve. The food was spectacular and we really thought we travelled to Spain for one evening, classic dishes include croquetas, pulpo and roasted suckling pig. Service was on point with excellent recommendations on wine and food! Keep it up and hi to Nieves

What a fabulous job the team are doing at Sabor! The food and service were excellent and the quality of the ingredients superb. The waiting staff were attentive and knew their menu, translating and able to describe the dishes in detail. Such interesting dishes all cooked to perfection. The ambiance was lively and fun. Full marks….,
Be the first to Replyjust as good
We came with some friends again, as we loved the last time, and this time was just as good as last time, but I must say the waiter last time was just better. when we came last time we were offered bread this time no bread was offered I guess is up to the waiter not sure how it works. anyway we had a great experience
Be the first to ReplyA really special evening
Four of us came to El Asador for dinner last Friday and had a wonderful meal with phenomenally good service, I'm not a fan of fishy things so my companions devoured the prawn croquettes and some fried monkfish thing which they said was deliciously light and tasty. There was some good-hearted squabbling about who would get the last bit. I was busy demolishing a fabulous tortilla and some tasty bread. Next came the suckling pig - we had half a pig plus three sides between four, and it was perfect. Delicious potatoes, something else I can't remember and an absolutely knockout leek or spring onion dish with a rich sauce. If you are thinking about going, go. Don't worry about what to have because it's all fantastic. The staff love to talk to you about the food and their enthusiasm shines through. An unforgettable evening for all the right reasons.
Be the first to ReplyA must visit! Superb
This place is a must visit in London! The food was impeccable. Everything was 10/10, I recommend the sea bass, monkfish, peppers, omlette, potatoes, seafood rice. The flavours are to die for. Service also excellent!
Be the first to ReplyOne year later, still top notch at every level
First of all, you have to bear in mind that it doesn't accept reservations at the counter, so we came prepared to wait. At first, it seemed that even with patience, we couldn't get a seat that night, however, after Pedro, the very polite and understanding host, told us that he couldn't guarantee us a table and asked to come back 45min later, we managed to get a seat (mostly due to others' impatience). The food, from the starters to the mains, was delivered on time and very tasty, but being our 2nd time here, we knew that the star of the show was the black rice, so we asked for it to be served last. Have to say, that although the surprise factor from the 1st time I tasted is gone, the feeling I have when eating it is still the same. As for the wine, we tried to get it last time but it was sold out, however, the alternative one we picked by recommendation of the waitress was just as good. Something I can definitely tell, is if you stay until the end of the service, you can feel that despite many hours of work, all the staff still have a smile to share and are in the mood to be playful with each other, it shows they like what they do. This is something I don't see many times even in many top restaurants, where people are understandably tired but it ends up taking a toll on the attention given to the client and a smile isn't common. All in all, everything is still there for me so I'll happily be coming back.
Be the first to ReplyTotally NOT worthy of its 1 Star Michelin rating
I will start with a positive, as you truly lived upto the standard for a Michelin Star restaurant regarding the food, its was simply devine. Sadly this is where it ends. The entire meal was ruined by the service and the manner in which it went downhill. I will explain below how the evening went and felt it was appropriate to share with you, as its not what we expect from a 1 star establishment. We were seated approx 15 mins late @ 7.45pm (not a real issue) as we were offered a drink on the ground floor. After been seated, we are welcomed by the waitress and water brought. Around 8pm the manager came over and proceed to take our order, which was surprising, as no attempt was made to explain the menu (the journey) as described on your website), no one ask if we had any allergies ( which is totally unacceptable) and no advice on possible wine choices. After the order was taken, the kitchen proceeded to bring our the starters in rapid succession. This is fine but once again, no wine order was taken, despite asking again. Also, having the waitress hoovering over us waiting to take plates away whilst eating was not a pleasant experience or acceptable. The speed at which the orders came out surprised us and we began to feel rush and completely ruined our ability to enjoy the food and experience. Within 10 mins all our starter plates had been removed, despite not finish. The kitchen then proceeded to bring out our two main courses in quickly ( Pig and Steak) but still no wine order taken (asked again). At this point we had been seat for approx 35 mins, and 20 mins after order was taken. When I spoke to the waiter, i explained this this feel rushed. He proceeded to say that the policy is, as food is ready by the kitchen, its delivered to the table + the mains take approx 45 mins from order - to table. Clearly this was not true. We also still had not had our wine order taken, dispite having asked several times. I explained that when seated, we should have been advised or asked if we want our food out this quickly. The experince of been rushed appeared to be isolated to our table only, as the couple next to us ( who were on the tasting menu experience) had each course brought out individually ( which is normal) but no rushing, so no course overlapped. When the wine was finally ordered and arrived, we had almost finish our main courses, which is completely unacceptable and again ruined the experience. At the point i ask to speak to the manager, to share our experience and inform him one of our sides still haven't arrived ( the creaming mash) so asked for it to be cancelled. The manager proceed to offer the dish at no cost ( not really the point), as we had almost finish our main meal. When one pays over £180 for just the main courses, we expect better. The manager acknowledged the poor experience but failed to rectify the situation. I don't expect to pay over £500 for a meal at a well established 1 star venue to have our entire meal finish within 1 hr (when we had 2 hrs allocated). Overall, the experience was not worthy of its Michelin Star rating and very disappointing, having dine in many Michelin Star establishments over the years. It appears they are more interested in getting as many people through their doors than offering you a journey through Spain with the food etc

We had a fantastic meal. The service topped it off. Juan went above and beyond. Food was very tasty. Big shout out to the dessert which was similar to a panna cotta with nuts and truffle honey. We will certainly be coming back 🤩
Be the first to ReplyWonderful, underrated, worth every penny
This restaurant is wonderful and it’s by far one of the best. I’ve visited in London for some time. We were lucky enough to grab a walk in table on a Saturday. We selected five dishes which came out to the table one after another. I will admit the restaurant was quite busy which meant service was a little slow however, it is understandable given the number of walking customers they have. Every dish was wonderful and I have absolutely no complaints. The octopus was fresh. The steak was cooked beautifully. The sangria was the best I have had in a long time as I find it so difficult to find good Sangria in London. I recommend wholly ! 4 drinks, 5 dishes and 1 dessert was £165 Reasonable considering their Michelin rating !
Be the first to ReplyAmazing food!! Incredible service !!
We had the most delicious lunch at Sabor today, everything was so good especially the croquettes & the suckling pig. The service was also incredible, we were looked after by Jeraldine & Juan who were both really friendly & knowledgable, recommending different dishes & wine! We will definitely be back!
Be the first to ReplyAwesome Spanish food in London
This restaurant is wonderful. Extraordinary Spanish food, also with a very good cava of wines from different regions of Spain. The atmosphere and the quality of the food will make any visit a wonderful experience. I have gone a couple of times and will not hesitate to go again when I return to London. Both the tapas menu at the bar and the food menu at the more formal part of the restaurant have wonderful options. Piquillo and Payoyo croquetas were insane! Really delicious! And the rest of the menu as well!
Be the first to ReplyAmazing Spanish Experience
I have wanted to visit Sabor for ages after seeing it and it’s owner on masterchef, and a great lunch with old friends. Wonderful food, passionate and knowledgeable staff. I had high expectations and they were exceeded, already booked diner in July. Everything from the menus and specials was a delight , and even a suggestion for cava with my pineapple sorbet.
Be the first to ReplyAbsolutely Delightful Spanish Tapas Bar
My wife and I stubbled upon this restaurant and I must say it was delightful, the staff very friendly even though we had to wait quite sometime to be seated due to the popularity and that it was the day of the Jubilee in London it was well worth waiting for, the small bar area made the time pass and the staff kept us informed, the food was exceptional very tasty the portions were ideal to share and to be able to watch your food being cooked was very pleasurable combined with the knowledgeable staff made the whole experience one to remember and tell our friends about. We will definitely be back soon.
Be the first to ReplyThe crispiest and most juicy pork ever…
Tucked behind London’s central tourist area in Piccadilly, Sabor is a hidden gem to find! The waiting staff were extremely welcoming and spoke us through everything we needed to know with the menu. After some fab recommendations we chose a couple of the small dishes, including the ox tail sandwich which was a personal favourite for us both. Also their famous 1/2 a piglet they serve is something else, they manage to make the outer skin so crispy yet the pork underneath is so juicy and succulent. All the staff made our experience so special and this coupled with the amazing food is why this has been one of our most enjoyable fine dining experiences yet!
