Good variety of menu options
Had dinner here at the Hayes Valley location on a Sunday evening. There was a line to order food (order at counter first), but a table opened up right after we ordered, so there was no wait for a table. My sister and I shared the salad, roasted cauliflower, rice, and half a chicken. The cauliflower had a red beet tahini sauce on it that was eye catching. The salad was very good and the chicken and dipping sauces were tasty. Rice was very flavorful. Reasonable prices.

Let's face it, dining in SF can be expensive. If you want a delicious high quality meal, go to RT. We went to the Broderick location. It is casual, you order at the counter, but the whole
chicken ($19), green salad, roasted cauliflower and seared broccoli were really excellent. If I lived nearby, I could see myself coming in all the time.
Good stuff, but the best items are vegan
This is RT Rotisserie's second location. I've tried ALL the sandwiches and some of the vegetable options.
The first time I was here, the guy behind the counter said his "personal favorite" sandwich was the cauilflower sandwich. I thought, "Sure ..." So I tried every other sandwich first.
The chicken sandwiches were good; I kind of hoped they'd be amazing, but they were in the good range. The pork belly sandwich ... well, I tried it since it was on the menu and I was curious. If you like pork belly, this sandwich may be for you.
Then I tried the lamb. This was, finally, a step above. The pita bread was perfect; the sandwich was overflowing; all of the items in the sandwich blended very nicely.
So I tried the cauliflower. And ... it was the best of the lot.
There's a great cabbage salad with nuts that I like; also, you can order a whole baked cauliflower with red beet-tahini dressing that is very satisfying. The broccoli was ... for me ... only okay. Haven't tried the Brussel sprouts yet ...
Still, it's curious that at a rotisserie, I'll actually like the vegan options better ...
Fries LOOK very good!
