In a word, elegance.
In two, absolute delight. A warm and inviting dining room, refined and peaceful. Brunch for two. Champagne was provided, and my martini was perfect. Service was beyond expectations, and there was no rush whatsoever; we were able to enjoy a spectacular brunch together without interruption, all the while having a phenomenal server check on us to ensure we were satisfied. Satisfied is too small a word. This was bliss. Highly recommend taking the time to enjoy brunch at the Ritz; you will NOT regret it at all!

Brought the Mom here for Afternoon Tea, while we were in Europe for our Mom-daughter vacay. Quite the experience and so much fun! Servers were beyond nice and helpful. Sandwiches, pastries and teas were so delicious omg! If you're ever visiting Paris, definitely go for Afternoon Tea at the Ritz; very much worth it! Bon anniversaire!
Be the first to ReplyHighly recommend afternoon tea at The Ritz.
Beautiful surroundings, lovely staff and the sweets they served were as pretty as they were tasty. It was a dream afternoon.
Be the first to ReplyI went for afternoon tea, but I didn't stay in the hotel.
Staff was very nice the entire time, my only gripe is that my table didn't get much attention after a while. We waited quite a while to get the check, we actually had to wave someone down who wasn't our waiter. Other than that, the tea and snacks were very good.

Sadly the Ritz restaurant has become another "burn 'em n churn 'em", outgrowing it reputation with pomposity and mediocrity. Stopping for lunch on Bastille Day (not overly busy), we were advised there were no patio tables available, reportedly reserved. Five were empty - at the conclusion of lunch three were still available. No mention was ever made of even trying to accommodate our request. The food was equally disappointing - one would expect a simple croque monsieur could be properly prepared by this establishment with an ego the size of Place Vendome. But no, the crust was so tough I could have used a chain saw to cut it. Waiter's solution was suggesting a steak knife. Unbelievable! The burn 'em n churn 'em list can now add this once revered icon to its list.

** Review for the afternoon experience ** The Ritz is one of the highest-rated afternoon tea places in Paris and we were so excited to try it! You get to choose between a few rooms on the reservations page and we chose the Proust room, which has a fancy maroon vibe. Unlike English afternoon teas, we learned that the French style is sweets only, and their tea set consists of mainly buttery, chocolatey, and creamy French pastries. We also paid a little bit extra for an additional Chef's handmade pastry. The pastries on their own were incredible! You can definitely taste the craftsmanships and they used high quality ingredients too! Service was great too and they were always available whenever we needed something. I'm only giving it 3 stars due to the lack of variety in the afternoon pastries. Despite the amazing taste, the flavours and textures do get very repetitive. I wish they could add some cakes or more refreshing desserts to balance it out and also give the tea set more colour (it's looking very brown) I would say it's more worth it to just buy individual pastries to try instead of getting the whole afternoon tea set and not end up being able to finish everything

Let me start off by saying we only came here to grab a drink at the bar and to walk through a little bit before our dinner somewhere else. That being said, wow!! This is a beautiful hotel and the staff is top notch. The drinks were fantastic (and not too outrageously priced, all things considered). If you have a chance to check this spot out, you definitely should.
Be the first to Replyi love the location and the service are excellent.
be sure to have breakfast there. I love the Japanese breakfast offer. so clean and yummy.
Be the first to ReplyThe property is not in the family of Marriot Hotel.
It is stand alone property by it self. Rooms are small but great. Lunch and Breakfast are well thought. I enjoy everything and also accessible to everything.
Be the first to ReplyBeyond any expectation I had for a 5 star hotel.
You are sure to not be disappointed! Our flight into Paris was delayed a day so we decided to stay an extra day at the end of our trip and were lucky enough to stumble across the Ritz Paris. From the moment we stepped into the private little Mercedes bus they sent for us to be picked up from our VRBO to the drop off at the airport I was taken back by how much attention to detail was all around us. I've never had a driver tell me the estimated time of arrival and then announce "one minute to arrival sir" as we whizzed around the streets of Paris making a few stops before we reached the hotel. Once in the hotel we were taken back on how over the top everything was. About 5 minutes after the concierge took us to our room I get a knock on the door and it's two maids ready to unpack everything for us. I told them no thank you but was thinking after a long day of travel how nice would it be to have all your clothes hung up and garments tucked into your drawers for you! The room was breath taking with multiple balconies and view I wasn't expecting. From the heated bathroom floors and bench seats in the rooms to the 3 sided mirrored wardrobe area I, my wife and kids thought we were in heaven. Every room has a bathtub with golden swan hardware. You won't find your typical light switches in this hotel. Ornate gold hardware throughout the hotel common areas and in the rooms was nothing like I've ever seen before. Heated chaise lounge chairs around the indoor pool. I jumped into the pool and walla there's music under the water. That's right... you can hear a soft jazz type music under the water but above the water you don't. The woodwork and furniture throughout this place will make your jaw drop. The food in the atrium restaurant was inline with the rest of the place and I mean quality and price lol. Sunday morning they had a live piano player playing some Christmas music as the staff put up a massive 30' + Christmas tree. It was really a sight to see! The ritz Paris is everything you can imagine for a luxury hotel and some stuff you just can't imagine until you see it. My wife went for a walk and said she saw a staff member from from the hotel walking a guests dog several blocks from the hotel with an umbrella over the dog as it was raining. I think I've seen this in a movie once... maybe. I must say when I do return to Paris this would be my #1.
Be the first to ReplyWe stayed in a Grand Deluxe Room for 7 nights.
The hotel is in an amazing location and there is something special about entering this hotel. The best part of the stay were some of the staff, many were kind, authentic, welcoming but not all. For me, this hotel is New Money loud. Lots of labels with a hint of arrogance. Our room was lovely and the bathroom was amazing as were the amenities. The King bed was old though and the nightly treats were inconsistent. We also had a German cockroach in our room which while not a big deal for us given the age of the hotel, a little odd. In my opinion, for the money, I prefer George V. Its a more Old Money vibe and far more welcoming and warm because that person in a laid back pair of shorts and t-shirt could be worth a billion dollars so its far less arrogant if that makes sense. I also found their staff a lot more proactive and consistent. A night or two at the Ritz to say you did it and a drink at the Bar Hemingway is a must but for a real length of time, somewhere else.

The view and service were amazing. We went in June, so not hot outside but with lovely flower blossoms.

The most beautiful, spectacular, breathtakingly-ornate hotel I've ever had the pleasure of staying at! We had a two night stay booked here and HAD to extend our stay here because we loved it so much!I'd have a great time just hanging out at the hotel and enjoying the amenities (including the stunning pool) and taking in the decor and colors (Chandeliers everywhere)! The florals, especially the display at the entrance! Oh my! We enjoyed breakfast at L'Espandon - the food and service was excellent. We tried out both bars in the hotel. The Ritz Bar was great and upscale. Bar Hemingway outdid all of our expectations; it felt historically preserved, trendy, and the drinks were memorable. The rooms were gorgeous. We had a view of the Eiffel Towel from the balcony. Heated bathroom floors and shower bench. Gold decor. I couldn't stop admiring the sink!! The faucet was a good swan and the knobs had crystal accents! The prime location! This hotel is surrounded by high end shops! Get ready to treat yourself!I hope to be back soon!!!
Be the first to ReplyThis review is strictly for the afternoon tea.
Beware it's all sweet no savory so be ready for that...we were not. We even skipped lunch thinking we would have the usual savory finger sandwiches. Beautiful tea room beautiful hotel. A bit over priced but it's the Ritz. If you can't pay don't play.
Be the first to ReplyWorld famous.
And even the French are intimidated by the grandness and beauty of this place. It was pure luxury. The last place Princess Di was seen alive. You can feel her presence. And we quite literally saw Emma Watson who was also staying there. It's not cheap - but it's beautiful. And they pick you up right at the airplane door to take you to the hotel. Highly highly recommend.
