Fresh, quick, yummy poke spot.
Functions similarly to cava where you can build your own bowl or pick a signature bowl. You can order online for pickup to beat the lunch rush.

This is actually the best poke I've ever had in my entire life like you can make your own and it taste so fucking gooddd
Be the first to ReplyHits the spot every single time.
Their food is always fresh and has never disappointed. The price is good for the amount and quality of food you're getting.

Not good at all or like I guess that's unfair but the rice was kinda stale and the fish felt like there was no flavor
Be the first to ReplyOrdered brown/black rice with grilled shrimp.
Why did I think the shrimp were going to be grilled fresh and then put on the rice? The grilled shrimp are laying around in a metal basket and the placed on top of the rice. The restaurant provides cold water with lemon... which is nice.

Today I fought high winds and snow to go to Red Poke, ordered my usual create your own bowl I love tuna sushi so I ordered that along with spring greens and various crunchies, the tuna tasted very fishy, and had a lot of tendon, you know how you order something and you wonder if its you....you're not trusting your instincts, well I ordered garlic, got corn instead? Went home and experienced severe diarrhea this is the second time in 2 days first time I thought maybe it was something else I had eaten, now I'm convinced that they are using either old fish or that it's not properly refrigerated, this makes me sad as I love sushi...but i have to face the facts, and be realistic...I simply can't eat their tuna.Feel nauseous as well.Tomorrow Christmas Day Ray is going to be open until 4pm.The winds are going to be 40 miles per hour, very dangerous for your employees and delivery people, yes you will make alot of money but sometimes one needs to put people before profit

Although the service was confusing and several things about our order were screwed up, leaving one party without their food for at least 20 minutes after the others were served, the food was really good.
Be the first to ReplyRed Poke is basically all you can ask for from a poke spot.
It offers a fusion of classic Hawaiian poke with Korean and Japanese flavors, so if you're in the mood for a classic poke, they've got you covered, and if you're looking for something more unique, they've got that too. And all of their ingredients are delicious. You can build your own poke bowl for around $13 (which is what I did) and there is a lot of customization that you can do. To make things easy, you can order by marking down on an erasable menu with the markers they provide and just hand that to them to create your bowl. I got my bowl with a cold japchae noodle base, raw ahi tuna, grilled bulgogi beef, seaweed, a bunch of other veggies/crunch added in, and sesame aioli sauce. The japchae noodles were really tasty and went well with the creamy sesame aioli sauce, the ahi tuna tasted fresh, and there was lots of yummy bulgogi beef. The staff are friendly and the service speed is quick. The interior is clean with some typical poke place decor and some complementary water while you await your order. There are a few seats inside the place, but it is mainly a take-away place. If you are in the area and interested in getting some poke, I would highly recommend Red Poke.
Be the first to ReplyQuick, clean, friendly and delicious.
Great for a quick affordable meal! Cute dining area too

Food tasted good and the service was great! It was nice and quiet when we went. I ordered a build your own bowl with salmon and shrimp. The order process is great. They give you a laminated menu and a dry erase marker and you select what you want and hand them the menu. We didn't have to wait long for our order. The cashier was very friendly and brought our order right to us. Great place! I'll definitely be going back and recommending it to anyone who is looking for good poke.

Really fresh seafood + great selection of cooked options if you're not feeling raw that day (very rare to see a place do well at both ends of the cooked and raw spectrum!)Reasonably priced, a DIY large protein bowl ends up around $19. I got the Ray's salmon too and that was delicious teriyaki flavoring.

If you want great poke in NYC with fresh and delicate fish, this is the place! Stumbled across this place on accident (just walked by and it looked delicious). I got the signature salmon bowl and my friend got the Gangnam bowl. The simplicity of the bowl and the pre-set toppings went so well together and were so balanced. The shoyu sauce highlighted the freshness of the fish without being too much! One of the best poke places I've ever had! Will definitely be returning next time I am in NYC.
Be the first to ReplyGot takeout from Red Poke for 8 people.
They assembled the poke quickly like within 10 minutes. However, they messed up 3 poke bowls with sauce not mixed in as instructed or gave the wrong sauce. Seoul bowl and Gangnam bowl - I love that this poke place has bulgolgi and spicy pork. I didn't have those but they look really delicious with the runny fried egg Build your own poke bowl - i tried to build my own poke bowl and it wasn't that great, maybe because I didn't choose the right ingredients to go together. Toppings - they gave me way too much red onions. The avocado add-on was $2 which is a bit expensive. Base - I love that they have rice greens and sweet potato noodles. The sweet potato noodles was delicious and they gave a lot for a medium bowl. Bao and dumplings - really yummy appetizers and I appreciate them having smaller items on the menu for those who don't want the full poke bowl.

Im going to give Red Poke one star because they have cut down on the protein they are putting in the food,i m talking 2 raw tuna sushi and 2 whole schrimp,so in essence your paying 13.00 for abowl on rice with a few veggies, yes the food is fresh, and yes we all want to be healthy but they are really taking advantage on the customers and depending on whose working they dont sanitize the tables, its time for me to look for another place.
Be the first to ReplyI loveee red poke but I don't love this location.
the toppings and ingredients every time I order are either stale or hard. Definitely order from the 53rd and 8th location, much better
Be the first to ReplyI really like to grab the bowls here for lunch.
Quick simple healthy is the best way to describe it. Not the highest grade for sashimi but not bad! Hits the spot for the price.
Be the first to ReplySo it was 3:45pm and I realized I didn't eat anything.
So I was looking for a fast casual place and saw Red Poke. They are a different kind of poke place as they offer a lot of Korean cooked options for protein In your bowl.I still went for the traditional raw salmon and tuna. And they give you this cute reusable menu with dry erase markers to order. The bowl tasted very fresh, the staff was courteous, the place was clean and the price was right (13.99). Thanks for solving my craving

Wanted to give this place a try being that a co worker of mine rants about it all the time. Walking in, first impression Super Clean. Not too friendly tho. No "hello". No "welcome". Was handed a menu to write my desired contents for my bowl. Had the quinoa (which was very sticky and bunched together) with chicken and shrimp. All the condiments were appetizing. Just not that satisfied with the whole experience and totally not worth the $15 and change it cost. Not horrible but not at all what my co worker gives it credit for. He obviously doesn't get out much!! Lol

Great menu system where you can mark on paper what you want and take your time without pressure, tasty food with lots of options including quinoa which is rare for poke bowls, and most importantly very good price!
