Fantastic!
A great tasty dining experience in this Indian restaurant. Real Indian dishes, super tasty and refined. Friendly service and delicious wines. You can get there from the center of Dublin easily by train from Conolly station. Recommended!

Another amazing meal at Rasam. Food was exceptional and service was top class. I am looking forward to going back. I highly recommend the Jhinga Prawns
Be the first to ReplyDisappointing Experienxe
Having read the reviews we were really looking forward to trying this restaurant. While the food itself was alright, the service was extremely poor. We seated in a corner towards the back of the restaurant and it was like we were forgotten about, partly I would imagine due to a large table of guests being in the restaurant. My wife's Chicken Tikka starter was not pleasant. I had pork which was very nice. My wife's prawn mango curry for main tasted gorgeous but the prawns were rubbery. I had the Butter chicken which was gorgeous amd I couldn't fault it. Overall the food was alright but the service was not good enough for a restaurant with the accolades it has received. Pouring your own wine and forgotten drinks as part of orders is simply sloppy. Unfortunately, given the experience we had, we will not be returning which is disappointing given how much good we heard about this restaurant.

The dining experience at Rasam was absolutely exquisite. The atmosphere was elegant, the service was impeccable, and the food was a divine symphony of flavours. From the first bite to the last, each dish was a masterpiece. I highly recommend Rasam Restaurant to anyone seeking a truly outstanding culinary adventure.
Be the first to Reply'FAB' evening
Another lovely evening. My guest described it as 'FAB'. We started with the chatpata pork and the duck roll - both beautifully presented. Duck has a bit of a bite...wonderful. The awadhi lamb curry was a firm favourite and, of course, the Mango Prawn always delights. Friendly, knowledgeable service. This is a busy restaurant but the tables are far enough apart to allow private conversation. Two sittings, which usually gives plenty of time to enjoy. If you have special requirements, let them know beforehand. They have been very accommodating to my guests in the past. Thanks, as always.
Be the first to ReplyIntolerance and no adherence
So so disappointed I booked this restaurant 4 weeks ago We were staying locally from Wicklow And had read and heard great review On booking I advised the restaurant that my partner had a severe intolerance to Rapeseed Oil (confirmed 3 times before our dining experience) On arrival last night the Manager was very very polite ,however advised they forgot about the intolerance and advised My partner that she could only eat 2 things off the menu.Prawns starter and prawn mains both coconut!(no choice) Please please take guidance from any allergen and or intolerance when advised,or call the person to inform that you cannot support at this time. We would have been happier to go elsewhere to ensure more menu availability
Be the first to ReplyAn absolute must visit, do not think twice you won’t get a better meal
You will not get a better meal in Ireland. The Rasam has been a firm family favourite of ours for years and our go to for any occasion from birthdays to a mid week treat to a Saturday night out. The food is nothing short of exceptional, a real treat every single time no matter how often you go. You cannot fault any item on the menu, the flavours are incredible and the quality of the ingredients are top class. (The lamb shank in particular is melt in the mouth) The variety in the menu will be sure to have something to excite everyone. They are also excellent at dealing with any allergies, they are very knowledgeable and accommodating. You can’t describe the Rasam without mentioning the exceptional service also, it is a most welcoming environment with the team regularly going above and beyond to make customers feel welcome and appreciated. The restaurant environment and setting also is so special and you feel like you’re experiencing a real treat, you could linger and chat for ages in the wonderful surrounds. An absolute must visit restaurant. You won’t regret it!
Be the first to ReplyExceptional experience
Exceptional tastes and textures combined with a warm welcome, professional, friendly service and a lively atmosphere make Rasam the perfect dining experience. Having ordered a different wine we were recommended a terrific Riesling to complement the flavours and we were delighted with the choice. This attention to detail really makes Rasam stand out from the crowd. Enjoy.

We recently made a trip to dunlaoghaire Co. Dublin just so we could go to one of our favourite Indian restaurants. We were so happy we did! The food as always was excellent the service was also great. We will travel again soon from wexford to glasthule so we can enjoy this great restaurant. Spotlessly clean and great ambiance.
Be the first to ReplyGreat Indian
Staff were friendly. Seating well spaced out with clear dividers. Impressive air filtration system. Menu is extensive, with loads of vegetarian options. Extensive wine list also. Could do with a couple more options if you want wine by the glass, but the wine we did choose was very nice. Service was great. Definitely one of the best Indians I've had. Very big portions, so unfortunately we couldn't sample desert. Didn't think it was overly expensive for what we got. Would definitely return when next in the area.
Be the first to ReplyThe best Indian restaurant in Dublin
Our favourite restaurant in Dublin. The ambience, the lovely kind, attentive staff and the wonderful food makes us want to come back. All of our special occasions, Christmas Eve lunches, birthdays, graduations are celebrated in Rasam. The Vegetarian Thali is phenomenal and highly recommended.
Be the first to ReplyWonderful food, impeccable service and lovely ambience. Top restaurant!
We were looking for somewhere special to celebrate our daughters birthday and we were not disappointed with this wonderful restaurant!. It was doubtless the best Indian food we have had locally and the service we got was second to none. Fantastic! Our head waiter went to great lengths to explain each dish on the menu making sure we chose the right dish and we really appreciated that. Overall a brilliant evening and look forward to returning in the future.

Minute you walk in the door it felt right, Service was brilliant and what a restaurant. Everything from starters to main course for fab. Trio of chicken and scallops to start. Main course beetroot chicken and mango prawn and the sauces where full of taste.

Excellent ambient, service, presentation of the dishes and the food!. I will be back when I am back to Dublin.

We had a delicious meal at this restaurant. The vegetable thali was tongue ticklingly tasty! The flavours of the different curries were just superb. Although I don't know the names of these curries there was one which I need to mention. It had a veggie meatball and was covered in the most delicious butter sauce I have ever tasted! In fact, when I completed the owner - a few minutes later he gave me a complementary portion to take away. The waiting staff were super and attentive and the restaurant was beautifully designed. A fantastic restaurant!

Insanely delicious food… attentive and caring waitstaff. If you want some authentic Indian food with depths of flavour, you’ve come to the right spot
Be the first to ReplyAn Indian Rhapsody!
Our 90km round trip from Kildare for a birthday celebration was certainly worth it!
Rasam is authentic and daring using real Indian spices and ingredients to create a delightful experience.
From Old Delhi Butter Chicken to Guntur Kodi Kura , you can experience flavours of the North and the South of India.
Unusual spices like Stone Flower and fresh (yes fresh!) curry leaves authenticate the food.
Great friendly service with tables laid out so you are not literally rubbing shoulders with complete strangers, and subdued lighting make for a relaxing dining experience.
Thanks to all at Rasam for a memorable evening in the depths of January.
We will return to savour the many other appetising choices.
BEST INDIAN IN IRELAND
We have tried several Indian restaurants around the world but none surpasses this one. The food is delicious. excellent selection for all and good for vegan and vegetarian too.

Had a lovely quiet dinner here, very relaxed atmosphere. Staff fantastic. Our waiter was Lovro from Croatia, he was just so friendly snd polite, I had to ask his name for this review to applaud him. This restaurant has the best and most delicious garlic Naan bread I’ve ever tasted. Better than any Pizza. I’d recommend the Thali here, wonderful. Thank you for a safe and pleasant experience.

I recently went for dinner to Rasam with my wife and son for a special occasion. We had never been before but I had seen so many good reviews I was looking forward to the experience.
The staff are very friendly and there is a nice atmosphere.
For starters my wife and I had the tasting plate which was very nice. My son had the prawns which he also really enjoyed.
For desert myself and my son had the malai kulfi which was also very nice.
Unfortunately the mains let things down. Myself and my son had the
dum pukht gosht which Rasam advertise as their signature dish. We ordered two rice and some peshwari naan bread which were very nice, the trouble was the main dish itself. The sauce had absolutely no flavor and therefore the food tasted very bland.
My wife had the beetroot chicken which she also found very average.
I have heard so many fantastic things about this restaurant I was very disappointed with the mains.
The prices are good for a restaurant in this part of town so perhaps this is part of the attraction but for me could do a lot better.
Saturday night out
Food was good but chicken tough. Make sure and book a nice table as most were reserved and we were out at a table in a busy area. They also treat their customers differently such as locals, take their coats and engage with them. Over €100 for two of us, pricy night out. Don’t know if I would go back.
Be the first to ReplyMAMMA MIA, What a Meal !!!!!
I live in Italy, just south of Rome, but when in Ireland, RASAM has become an INGAGEMENT that HAS TO FIND ROOM, no matter the AGENDA. After about 5 years, I consider myself a "Family Member" where together with my wife, seek our rations of culinary passion at each visit. Excellent cuisine, warm, spicy and fragrant Indian specilities are served at their peak of perfection. Staff incredibly efficient, kind, friendly and competent, explain all dishes and ingredients with great care. Their Wine Cellaris very well furnished and able to satisfy the most demanding of connoisseurs. Some may object on the cost of a meal and being of SCOTTISH origin, I can understand, but in total SINCERITY, I have NEVER LEFT RASAM, without blessing every last cent, for them having UPGRADED a normal day into SOMETHING VERY SPECIAL. DO TRY THIS RESTAURANT. YOU WILL THANK ME !!!
Be the first to ReplyAwesome is an understatement
Amazingly authentic Indian food.. exactly how it should be! Don’t go by recommendations to another popular restaurant in the neighbourhood, because this usb where you’ve gotta be!!
