Ordered a veggie ramen super spicy and in return got a water flavored chilly powder. Wouldn't recommend even if you're living on the strip. Take a Uber and go some place decent if you're spending that kinda money

Best little ramen place ever!! It's like Japan where it's pretty hidden and tiny, we love the ambiance! The staff is always Uber friendly and the Ramen is delicious!! We got the specialty which is Ramen with chasu, chicken karage, beef and gyoza. We love going here and we always leave super full!!
Be the first to ReplyThe ramen here is average to below average.
Nearly $100 for a family of four with the mandatory 17% tip. At least they didn't force us to tip on the tax as well (like many restaurants these days). Very disappointing given the glowing reviews. I feel like the positive reviews might be from out of towners who don't have access to a lot of ramen restaurants.

This is the worst ramen I've ever tasted, but the service was incredible! The eggs were hard boiled two days ago, the chicken was microwaved frozen chunks, and the pork belly was...something. The broth of the miso and tonkotsu were both...not tasty. The service was amazing though.
Be the first to ReplyFried chicken w/ spicy Kontotsu soup is the bomb.
This is in a little alley near the Grand Bazaar Shops. Reminds me of some of the excellent ramen shops in Japan in venue. Completely recommend this place.
Be the first to ReplyOur go to for ramen when we're in Vegas.
Staff are wonderful, very friendly and make you feel at home. The ramen is very good with the noodles cooked perfectly every time and the broth is not too thick or too salty. It's in the Grand Bazaar shops just in front of the Horseshoe. I've seen it can get quite crowded but each time we've gone we've been able to walk in and be seated.

If you are looking for a real Ramen, this is not for you! I should have known when I saw the hard boiled egg picture on Yelp. Mistake coming here. Very disappointing. Broth was not rich at all. The egg was hard boiled which not right at all. That is Pure lazy. And the pork belly was nasty too. Pure fat and it was not grilled which it should. The friend chicken was okay. But they gave me a slice of lemon which is impossible to squeeze. so I asked for a piece of lemon that I can squeeze, the waitress gave me half of the lemon but wanted to charge me $1.89 for it on my bill for a piece of lemon! Nope I refuse. Either she takes that off, or I pay no tips. Anyways I would walk a little bit further to try momofuku next time. At least the egg on the ramen looks right there.

My daughter and I had a sudden craving for ramen while visiting Vegas and I'm so glad we found this place! This is a classic example of those "hole-in-the-wall" places being the best places! This place is small. Maybe 10-12 tables? We got there at 4PM on a Friday and it was us and 2 other tables. By the time we left at 4:45, there was a wait! We each had spicy miso ramen. I had mine with pork belly, chicken, and gyoza. My daughter had hers with chicken. The broth was very flavorful, the portions were generous and the prices were very reasonable especially for being in Vegas! The service was friendly, fast, and there were 3 people working together as a team. We are in Vegas for only 3 days and have many plans as we are here for a volleyball tournament but we are already trying to figure out if we can squeeze in one more meal here before we leave! If you love ramen like we do, try this place!

Good food cool little spot near ballys and Paris staff was super nice a little expensive but would definitely come back here again
Be the first to ReplyIf you're looking for reasonably priced Japanese-style food
If you're looking for reasonably priced Japanese-style food on the strip this is the go-to spot. First of all, this is one of the best curries I've ever had. So much flavor and the perfect ratio of meat, rice, and curry. My husband had the Beef Donburi and thoroughly enjoyed it. The spot is small but the service and food delivery were quick. It was rainy on the day we went so it wasn't packed and was the perfect cold day meal. We heard several to-go orders being placed while we were there. I would definitely come back on my next trip.

We always see this place being pretty busy but never tried until now. We went in and there was no line. There were two tables in the back open. These were tables big enough for 4 people and it was just us two. So the waiter told us to put our name on the waitlist and go wait outside. A group of 4 came and they were seated. Like what? I mean I would understand if there was a line, but there was no line. That was kind of messed up. Whatever, we waited 10mins and got seated. I ordered the Chasu Ramen Tonkotsu with spicy, which is extra $$. The broth was ok, flavor was not strong, a bit on the salty side. The chasu was very thin and small. Additionally it wasn't even spicy at all. Would I return? Probably not.

I walked in and ordered take out and was told it would be out in 5 minutes. It took 25 minutes which was really disappointing because I was misinformed. I ordered the fried pork curry and for the price, it was a good value for Vegas. A quick walk from the Horseshoe where I was staying
Be the first to ReplyI love this place and visit almost every Vegas trip.
But friends, we gotta talk about your eggs. They're hard boiled here. A good ramen egg should be jammy! 6.5 minutes boiled, no more, no less. Everything else here is great, including the food, staff, and atmosphere, but please, on behalf of all ramen lovers, fix the eggs
Be the first to ReplyThe wait is long! But the food is amazing.
It worth the wait. Cozy ambiance and friendly staff
Be the first to ReplyOne of the best ramen that I've had.
It was delicious. Staff were friendly. It's a cozy environment. I really enjoyed it
Be the first to ReplyHad the Yokozuna ramen.
Didn't expect the chicken kaarage and gyoza to be placed in the broth but it was interesting. Reasonable prices for Vegas, especially an eatery on the strip. Simple ambience. Small restaurant. Convenient if you don't want to drive and you're staying nearby. Lines can get long so come early for lunch or dinner. It was interesting watching people sitting in nearby tables order, and asking for broth recommendations; not knowing the difference in taste between miso, tonkotsu, shoyu, or shio broth. If you're a newbie with ramen, always go with chashu ramen and the tonkotsu (pork) broth as your first choice unless you don't eat pork. This is a recommendation for any ramen shop you are trying for the first time. Tonkotsu broth should always be your first choice unless the ramen shop offers black garlic oil as one of their choices, which this one doesn't.
Be the first to ReplyThe Grand Bazaar Shops are next to the Horseshoe.
It has so many stores and eateries. We spoke to locals and tourists and they all said this place was legit. Indeed it was delicious for being on the strip. We got here 30mins after they opened and got a table immediately. The dining room is narrow. By the time we left, there was a line. Tonkotsu is their most popular but I went w shoyu pork belly chashu ramen with spice level 6. Also got karaage fried chicken curry with spice on the side. Both dishes were good. The chicken was a bit tough for me. Crispy outside but tough to the bite. The curry was fragrant and flavorful.
Be the first to ReplyThis place was good.
The ramen was good. Very small inside, we waited 1 hour to be sat but was overall worth it.

Got the spicy miso ramen with beef, it was delicious and plenty of noodles to satisfy a whole day's worth of hunger. And the Karage fried chicken was probably one of the best I've had.
Be the first to ReplyI was surprised when I saw it has pretty high rating but
I was surprised when I saw it has pretty high rating but compared to typical ramen in LA, this is much worse. Decided to eat here because it's close to my hotel butwas completely disappointed by the signature tonkutsu ramen (it's called tokozuna or something along this line). The soup was very watery. They hided a lot of cabbage under the noodles so there were not a lot of noodles although the bowl was large. It didn't fill my stomach. For the price and quality, this is expensive. The only good things were the gyoza and karaage chicken (2pcs each). Service was good too!
Be the first to ReplyOrdered the Spicy Tonkatsu with pork.
They do use msg and yes the pork broth was delicious. The portion size of the two pieces of pork was very much on the small side, along with half an egg, a few pieces of cabbage, spinach, sliced carrots and lots of noodles.
Be the first to ReplyDelicious little Ramen spot.
Great service and the good was really good. Definitely recommend
Be the first to ReplyService was friendly and prompt.
Ramen was just alright (not surprised for food on the strip). Seemed like the noodles were a bit stiff and old. Overall flavor was pretty mild. Reasonably priced for strip food. Considering all the other options available, will probably try another restaurant before coming back here again.
Be the first to ReplyTired of boring burgers, chicken, pizza on the strip?
Tired of boring burgers, chicken, pizza on the strip? Ramen-Ya is a pretty authentic window into Japan. Now that I typed that, it sounds corny or staged, but it is actually true. We wanted something lighter, healthier and quick and did not want to walk way off the strip or catch an Uber. Ramen-Ya came up in a search (you know where) and figured we would try it. I have been to Japan half a dozen times on vacay and business (not trying to brag - just give perspective). I LOVE Japanese food. Ramen-Ya is very much like a small fast ramen / Udon place you would find in Japan. The service was super fast, I mean like lightning. Food was great, and the prices reasonable. Like a couple other foods, I typically get the same thing at places like this if they have it - Oyakuodon. It is a rice bowl thing with sautéed chicken, onions and egg and a really savory light sauce (ie. not drowning the rice) picture below. I like ramen, and curries, but if a place has Oyakuodon, I get it. Ramen-Ya nailed it (not that it is that hard to make probably) so I was really happy. My wife got a curry rice, shrimp and broccoli bowl and she loved it (looked a bit too "saucy" for me). The restaurant also had Sapporo Dark which is one of our favorite Japanese beers. Lastly - as we were leaving the restaurant my wife saw a photo a sumo wrestling match on the wall and the guy that greeted us that works there said it was him 20yrs ago. Pretty cool!!Super place, we will go back. Back again, Awesome!!!
Be the first to ReplyTwo stars because it is edible and the server was nice.
If you like traditional Ramen, run do not walk away from this place. Over boiled non soy sauce eggs. Iceberg letter bagged salad and spinach as the veggies. Cooked carrots shreds. The meat was not seared. The eggs were cold. I think they used butter. Chicken broth for the broth. Thank God I was hungry. 2 bowls of ramen and a beer cost me $57
