Good restaurant with Italian cuisine.
Good location on 57th. Menu with good proposals served well. Professional service. Correct quality-price ratio.
Be the first to ReplyExcellent food, highly in demand. We enjoyed it!
It was a nice treat to have dinner here by my colleagues while attending a podiatry conference at Marriott Marquis NYC. The place was packed on Friday night with business and birthday parties. The food was great. Italian sausage with caramelized onions as an appetizer was amazing. Dover sole was great and the steak as well. The place is quite expensive, just bear in mind. Location wise it’s great too. Since it is just a couple of blocks away from central park south. Truffled pasta, shrimp cocktail, and deserts were all great.
Be the first to ReplyWorth the wait
By the wait Im not talking about the time it took to be seated. I'm talking about how long i've wanted to eat at this restaurant and it has been at least Five years since I first saw a video of the chicken parm pizza. We waited at the bar while they were getting our table ready. One, the bartender was beyond nice and let us try some of the brews and wines that they make. And truly some of the best drinks i've ever had. But let's get on to the main event the chicken parm pizza. It was beyond worth the wait. Absolutely delicious, perfectly seasoned, cook to perfection. The presentation was fantastic. I have nothing but positive things to say about this. I highly highly recommend you go and try the chicken parm pizza and bring a friend too because you won't be able to finish it alone.
Be the first to ReplyThe place is great, but the service let it down
The place is great, but the service let it down, in particular the waiter (I can't remember his name, he was Colombian). We turned up for our table at 4.30pm, but had to wait over half an hour at the bar while our table was ready. There was no apology. During the meal there were 3-4 people coming to our table for different things, and it didn't feel like great rapport with any one particular. We ate our dinner fairly quickly, then enjoyed the last of our wine before we were going to have a cocktail. The waiter asked again if we wanted our cocktail when we still had wine left. Then he came again and asked if we could have our cocktail at the bar because he wanted to turn the table around. So basically he was kicking us out of our table after we spent $300 on a dinner. We settled the bill and tipped 12.5% (30$) which I thought was fair for the mediocre service we got, but this was clearly not what the waiter was expecting and he made it known by saying a short goodbye and walking off. This was on Christmas Day so he could have said 'Happy Christmas' or in fact anything at all other than just 'bye', after I had just spent $300 on some on some bread and pasta. This attitude ruined the service for me, and to top it off, there were absolutely no seats left at the bar, so they expected us to finish our meal, then go have our cocktails standing up at the bar. I would expect better at a place where if you're not careful your bill will easily exceed $500.
Be the first to ReplyVery disappointed, poor service, loud and overpriced…
Was really looking forward to this meal so we booked well in advance, a table for 7pm as we had a show to get to at 9. Five of us, we arrived on time, seated around ten minutes later and then waited…waited, and waited! 40 mins to place an order. Appreciate it was busy but we were forgotten! Finally ordered wine and it was then lost and not topped up, when I located my ice bucket and topped it up myself I was told off by the waiter who finally reappeared. Poor service meant we didn’t have time for starters or puddings, meals were absolutely average, over priced and not great quality. Restaurant is incredibly loud and dark, really not sure it’s worth the effort… there are so many other restaurants to choose from!!
Be the first to ReplyBuzzy Fun, Great Eats
Big, buzzy and festive dining room, alcove off to the side for larger parties, crazy bar scene a draw for young professionals. Exceptionally efficient and personable service. Great menu...known for their chick parm pizza for 2, huge portion. We opted for branzino and an amazing cacio e pepe with soooo many fresh black truffle slices, finished with the pistachio gelato and cherries. Fun drinks menu, extensive wine list. Pricey and worth it. Pours on wine by the glass were a bit light in our opinion. Excellent location steps from Carnagie Hall and Central park. Accomodating ADA but its a tight fit. Good for kids.
Be the first to ReplyOverpriced
Great service but the prices were simply outrageous. My pesto and sausage pasta was no better the what I make with the same supplies one can buy at Costco. My wife’s pasta dish was undercooked and doughy. The $90 pizza tastes no better then those served at Pizza Hut.
Be the first to ReplyFooled by social media - pizza chicken parm. No bueno.
We went solely for the over-hyped chicken parm pizza, I have to rate this a 2. It was too dry, and bland, bland, bland. Highly overrated. This restaurant is know for the steak, I should have ordered the FUSILLI AL MANZO (Filet Mignon Ragu, Chili Breadcrumbs, Basil) Our appetizer was fantastic- BEEFSTEAK TOMATO & STRACCIATELLA. And the Sicilian Chardonnay was perfect.

Great Italian food. Lovely cosy buzzy atmosphere. Really enjoyed it. Our waiter was very experienced and had lots of knowledge about the menu.

Excellent food. Loved Cacio with truffle oil - unique. Recognized my special occasion of anniversary celebration from Open Table reservation!! Would highly recommed.
Be the first to ReplyAmazing experience!
Loved every bit of our experience here. food was amazing, atmosphere was great, service was exceptional, and the bathroom was stunning!! Thoroughly enjoyed the Corn Crème Brûlée - it was a hit!! Meals were fresh.
Be the first to ReplyThe only restaurant I would highlight in New York after one week of dine-and-wine around the city
What a surprise! I am not a fan of Italian food but must say they really made me reconsider if I have not bring Lucy with my choices in the past….pizza excellent, truffle pasta mind blowing, penne with Raghu super yummy…not to forget the hamachi and the Brussels sprouts with soja sauce. All and all, top recommended
Be the first to ReplyThe chicken parm is the main event here
This place always satisfies. You can pick steakhouse options (this is part of the Smith and Wollensky restaurant group), Dover sole, fresh seafood or go to the Italian part - pasta and chicken parm. The chicken parm is the specialty here - served with honey with chilies and arugula to top it off. It’s pounded thin and cut up like a pizza. The order serves two, but really I think several people can split it. It is very good and almost obligatory if you’re going in. Nice space and service. I’ll keep coming back.
Be the first to ReplyGreat location, good food, nice staff
Had solo lunch on a Sunday afternoon. Really enjoyed the food and what was recommended by the staff. Very good menu. Nice staff. Great location. One caveat maybe for dinner there are more options. I felt the lunch menu was a bit limited for an Italian, if you are visiting with children for example. Otherwise very please with everything, stunning bathrooms btw ))

Went to quality Italian after NYC Marathon. It was busy but we were seated quickly. Server was great. We found out that they were giving a bottle of wine to marathon finishers (the table next to us told us-the staff did not). My companion had finished the marathon but was not wearing his medal. Despite photos and online proof , the manager refused to give us a bottle of wine. We could have just borrowed a medal from someone else but we didn’t bother. It wasn’t the waiters fault. I can’t imagine this made a difference to the manager either but he chose to be a jerk. Unfortunately it ruined the dinner for us and I will not be going back.
Be the first to ReplyReally good find
Excellent find on avenue of the Americas.... really great food. Fabulous roman salad with chicken and great meatballs. Wine and gelato topped it all off. Excellent waiter, friendly and attentive.
Be the first to ReplySuperb dining experience
First night of our vacation in the big apple and what a way to begin our week long stay. We were promptly seated and our server , Gary was personable, knowledgeable, helpful, professional and very funny. We started out with the focaccia with the home made ricotta, never had anything like it before, absolutely outstanding, we continue with fresh oyster which also were outstanding. Of course we ordered Martinis, excellent,in glasses the size of an Olympic swimming pool. We ordered the spicy lobster rigatoni: delish. The sommelier suggested a delish Italian wine, unfortunately I dont remember the names of either the sommelier or the wine. A great evening. If you are looking for a fantastic dining experience in New York City go no farther. This it. Highly recommended.

Excellent food and service, classy but casual setting. The chicken parmesan appetizer is world class -- must try it!
Be the first to ReplyThe name says it all
Every part of this meal was top-notch. The octopus was divine, and I loved the lobster scampi toast as well. Very innovative and equal parts delicious. The dessert was the star of the show — strawberry rhubarb crostata with basil ice cream. I was skeptical at first but found the flavors paired wonderfully!
Be the first to ReplyIt is Quality Italian!
We took a large group for a pre-theater meal and had a very good experience. The food was very good with the table side pasta preparations stealing the show for us. The homemade ricotta appetizer also deserves a shout out. The veal parm is very unusual (somehow served like a pizza but doesn't have a crust?) and I still don't understand it but it was tasty to me but off putting for my husband. We were warned that even though it says it serves two, it is really much bigger than that. The waiter and sommelier were both great and very helpful. We made our show timing with no issues.

Quality Italian is a really great feature that lies just south of Central Park. The place is really busy so booking recommended. Food is excellent!

Well presented amazing Italian foods! By the way, they do not serve pizza. Staff were so friendly and welcoming. The ambiance is awesome.

Came to New York with my son to see Lion King and have dinner. Quality Italian was our restaurant of choice and what an amazing choice it was ! Royce was our server and he made great entree suggestions that weee amazing. Home made pasta was out of this world. He was so attentive even when it came to desert suggestions. We had a s’mores desert and a Good Humor version of strawberry shortcake. And a chocolate martini to die for! Thank you Royce for such a good desert! Manager Luis was top notch- he was so attentive to all of his customers! He secured us a table in the lounge for some after dinner drinks that were amazing Jay made the perfect Lemon Drop and put the cherry on our experience! Can’t wait till we return !

My wife and I went to Quality Italian on the recommendation of a friend. We could not have been more pleased. Highly recommend the green olives stuffed with gorgonzola cheese, wrapped with Prosciutto, bread crumbs and flash fried. We had the Paccheri Amatriciana and Pesto Mafaldine and enjoyed both. If you get a chance ask for Norbert, you won't be disappointed.
