Pokémon Cafe Osaka Reviews from The Last Year
Real disappointment, no real pokemon experience, just some hanging toys but kids are not suppose to touch them.
Pure disappointment!! The food served was cold. Tiny portion for the price. There was indoor play area or pokemon toys to touch or play. The kids are suppose to sit and eat and after 90 mins leave. There was no real pokemon experience. 3 Television screens for Kids on wall. Each person visiting including a kid (also 2 years old) must order something. NOT WORTH THE VISIT AND TIME. Rather visit a pet cafe (cat cafe).
Walk in accepted
Like everyone, I tried to book as soon as the dates were released but the website kept crashing and I wasn’t able to make a reservation. However, when we visited the Pokemon center next to it, I just popped by the cafe to have a look and to my surprise, they list out all the time slots and there were availability mid afternoon. So we went there for an afternoon tea and it was pretty good. Gengar came to entertain half way and although it was all in Japanese, it was entertaining nevertheless. For those who couldn’t manage to book, don’t despair as they accept walk in!

Prepaid Reservation Fee

When you sell a reservation that has a prepaid fee AT takes a commission on that fee. This doesn’t really make sense because it’s an expense the seller incurs not part of the profit that is shared.
For example:
Carbone NYC fee to book table for 2 is $108.88
If you sell it for $200 on AT you get $140 from them.
Your net profit is $31 and AT collects $60 in fees.
It would make more sense not to charge commission on the upfront fee as this creates a disincentive and results in higher costs for buyers.

Agreed. Ultimately not addressing this month after month is clearly resulting in a drop in certain venue’s rankings & sales.
