I've been vegan for around 8 years now, and this restaurant was so underwhelming and disappointing when it comes to what vegan food has to offer. The pros: great ambiance and service. There was an adorable cat that greeted us on the outside patio (or should I say catio). I included a picture of him :). For the dishes, we got the Flora Artisanal Cheese Plate, Maitake Mushroom, the Black Sheep Lamb Kabobs, and the Banana Cream Pie. They really skimped out on the cheese plate. We ran out of crackers in the first couple of bites. The spicy paprika cheese and the truffle cheese were good. The other ones forgettable and grainy in texture. The entrées were more like salads. The "kebabs" were not on sticks but plopped onto some lettuce leaves. The "yogurt" tasted like coconut whipped cream. It needed garlic and onion seasoning to taste like raita. The lamb itself did taste good. The best recreation I've had so far, but I was hungry an hour later. The mushroom dish needed more salt and seasoning as well. The Banana Cream Pie was strangely salty and drowned in flour (I thought it was powdered sugar at first, but no) so it coated every bite. Would not recommend. We also sampled the non-alcoholic wine The Fizz since the other one was out of stock and it tasted like straight-up apple cider vinegar. The bill came out to around $140 with tip. We wanted a bougie experience but this just felt like a scam.
