Okay - too pricey
Service was excellent, food was average at best. Not worth the money it cost. Great location but parking was a pain.

This gal has NEVER eaten Chinese food in her life!!! I have a nut allergy so never wanted any part of it. My brother wanted to go here the night before his Ironman. I figured i would just be sitting there not able to eat anything. My mom found something on their website which explained they can accommodate people with nut allergies. I called this establishment and they connected me to the manager who was VERY nice and explained they can print out a menu with options and that they cook this in a very safe environment. So I was thrilled! Upon arrival I told our waiter who was wonderful about it, got my menu for me, and helped offer some suggestions. I know nothing about this cuisine. My brother opted for Mongolian beef and my boyfriend had shrimp and lobster fried rice. Both liked their meals. I decided on the lo mein noodles with chicken. O M G. Delicious! I left an empty plate and just absolutely loved it. What a nice surprise! So, if you or a loved one has peanut allergy and you’ve opted away from Chinese your whole life, know that this place can accommodate you and you too can experience a cuisine so many people love!!

The service was fantastic and the food was very good. We sat on the patio to enjoy the weather so I didn't get a feel for the interior atmosphere. Would definitely return.

We arrived at the ASU Gammage early to park the car. We took a stroll to PF Chang’s only a few blocks away. We did not think about reservations as it was early. There was a 10 wait and we opted to sit at the bar. Service was pleasant and quick. We decided on Spicy Shrimp lettuce wraps and chicken lettuce wraps. Our orders arrived looking tasty and nicely arranged. Ample lettuce was given on the plate. The shrimp wraps are a bit spicy and have a good kick to them. The chicken wraps have a smoky flavor to them. There is sauce with both to add to the wrap. We both enjoyed our meals. If you drive there is only street and lot parking. There is quite a bit of building going on downtown with many streets coned off or closed. Allow time to find a parking space.

We were staying in Scottsdale but we thought of driving out to Tempe to have dinner. We picked P.F.Chang's based on our experience at the restaurants in Seattle & Las Vegas. This restaurant seemed to be located in heart of Tempe. We are not familiar with Tempe besides It was night time ( 9:15 pm) when we got there so hard to tell. Parking around the restaurant is challenging. One has to park the car at one of the many parking garages within walking distance. Upon arrival we were greeted with a smile and seated at our booth overlloking the glass enclosed kitchen area by Gillian ( one of the Asst. Operating Partners). Our server (JP) promptly came to assist us with beverages to start. We ordered Chang's Coconut Cooler and a draft Huss Scottsdale Blonde. For dinner we order the Dynamite Lettuce Wrap & the Family Platter of KungPao Chicken to share between the two of us ( it can feed more then just two, trust me). The meals did not disappoint us, and we had a some really good conversations with Gillian and JP. The good food and great service made it a very pleasant and enjoyable experience for us.

Wanted to try a different item from the menu. Went with walnut shrimp and fried rice. Simply delicious. Delivery order so I can't comment on staff or the facility.
Be the first to ReplyGreat happy hour
I came here with my wife and another couple while walking in the area. They had happy hour 3-6 pm which is nice as the have selected plates for great price. The food was good. Our sever was nice too. The place was empty at 3 pm not sure why. I think it was very hot and the area full of bars and ppl getting ready for football game. Overall this place was good
Be the first to ReplyThe terra-cotta man ate my Lobster!
We had a gift card so we came in on a Saturday for dinner. A very nice bar and dining room, highlighted by a beautiful Chinese mural and a realistic looking Terra-cotta warrior statue. My wife order fried rice with chicken and I had surf and turf. My wife said her food was tasty. My surf and turf included pieces of fillet mignon, shrimp and lobster. It was good, however the fillet had some gristly pieces. There was generous shrimp but no lobster pieces. I told the server and she said she heard this from other quests. She apologized and said the lobster was incorporated in the lobster. Not sure what that means but I tasted no lobster. She was really nice and great server. The service was also very good. The bar drinks were pricey. ($11 for a Bombay martini.) The dinner prices are also in the expensive range. $29 for Chilean sea bass???? We did bring home leftover food. We will try another Chinese restaurant next time.
Be the first to ReplyDisappointing flavors
We've been to several PF Chang's, but were underwhelmed here. Atmosphere was nice, with artwork echoing modern Chinese style but including reference to the local Sun Devils. My wife's Buddha's feast (a meal she's enjoyed at other locations) was bland and tasteless. On the other hand I enjoyed the Singapore pepper chicken
