Highly recommended!!!!
The hotel's location is strategic because it is very close to the station and the historic center of Bolzano. My room was very clean and, despite facing the street, it was well insulated and very quiet. The restaurant's cuisine is excellent and very refined, not to mention the breakfast, with a very rich buffet and an abundant offering for both those who like sweets and those who prefer savory foods. I also recommend taking an aperitif at the hotel bar, where you can breathe a particular atmosphere... from other times....
Be the first to ReplyNice room with a broken TV that couldn't be repaired
We had a beautiful room that had been recently renovated. The beds were also great. However, the TV didn't work and there was no prospect of it being repaired. The service employee we called said that they would have to hack the wall open again to replace the defective WiFi cable. However, another room that was offered only had a bathtub, which wasn't an option because of my recent back surgery. So the stay was slightly spoiled because the hotel didn't offer any other concessions. The breakfast was wonderful. The food service was also really very good.

hotel lives up to its name, friendly and knowledgeable staff, fantastic and unique bar. excellent restaurant but could improve in the offering of dishes. something a little more sophisticated without neglecting quality. Breakfast with a wide choice of products. It's definitely worth it
Be the first to ReplyVery pleasant stay
A venerable hotel, a little dusty, but a very pleasant stay, perfect location. Service impeccable, breakfast plentiful and delicious, Contamino restaurant worthy of a star. We were even allowed to check in early in the morning because the room was free, thank you very much for that.
Be the first to ReplyHunt for the coffee cup!
Incident happened at the hotel bar. I would like to point out the incompetence of a waiter whose name I don't know, but I remember his appearance well: he wore a black shirt and was thin and very tall. Well, I was drinking a coffee in complete relaxation, when suddenly I saw an arm snatching my cup from the table at lightning speed, without giving me time to intervene to say that it wasn't empty. But the fact doesn't end here. My husband called the waiter back, specifying that I had not finished consuming the coffee. Then the waiter went looking for my cup, without apologizing, and brought me back one that wasn't mine, as it had an empty sugar sachet "I don't use sugar!", I exclaimed. No apologies from him. After rummaging in the sink and among the trays, he returned with my cup and put it on the table: something not worthy of a place considered prestigious. Faced with my indignation, he asked if he should make my coffee again. By now patience and relaxation had disappeared, so I rejected his proposal, which had come to an end, demonstrating terrible service and unacceptable behavior.

The old town of Bolzano is characterized by its crooked old town. Not so with the Parkhotel Laurin: what a joy to stay in this clearly structured and well-run hotel with a sumptuous breakfast. Each room is personalized with pictures of the impressive painting collection of over 200 works. A book on display at the reception summarizes these in a beautifully laid out manner and confirms the impression of being in a place with subtlety.
Be the first to ReplyI'll never set foot there again
I will never set foot in a hotel again where I pay 180 euros per night for a room located above the party hall, without any sound insulation, with relative bombardment of terrible music at high volume until midnight, when instead I would have liked to rest and dedicate myself to things more interesting and relaxing

Exceptional, everything perfect. Beautiful room, organized down to the smallest detail, very clean and tidy, excellent location a few steps from Bolzano station and right in the centre, courteous, helpful and very kind staff. Everything really perfect. Wonderful experience.
Be the first to ReplyHistoric hotel, great location
The Parkhotel Laurin is a very short walk from the train station. It’s an old hotel which comes with some good and some not as good. The room was surprisingly large with a nice view. The room had a bed (two twins pushed together), couch, table, and desk and chair. I’m not a fan of carpet and this was fully carpeted. There are not many plugs available on the room and the plugs don’t seem to be the standard European plug. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was good sized but the door opens somewhat into the toilet. The shower is a high tub with the half glass wall. Good water pressure. The hotel is right by a Christmas market and a short walk to many restaurants and shopping. Also a short walk to the river. The team at the hotel was nice and tried to help with the strange limit on devices on their Wi-Fi. First time I’ve run into a device limit and not ideal. The bar was festive and quite popular. The breakfast (included) was quite good. Delicious yogurt and fruit options. And a tasty cappuccino.
Be the first to ReplyThe Ultimate Relax for New Year' Eve...
A bit superfluous as I write a 5* review every year😅 Every bit of this organisation excels, from roomcleaning to restaurant, reception and ofcourse the Laurin bar. We see many familiar faces amongst personell every year. Very pleasant, becoming a New Year' tradition.

This was our third visit in the last couple of years and it remains faded and in need of an update. Lots of marks on hallway walls and a number in our room. Carpets particularly either need deep cleaning or replacement. We found the quality of the breakfast has also deteriorated since our last visit. The hotel has a great location a short walk from the train station and the bar is quite lovely and worth a visit on its own, but the rest of it is rather tired. Time for a new hotel choice in Bolzano.
Be the first to ReplyUnderwhelming overall
First off, make sure you book the correct number of guests. I accidentally put down one, which resulted in a pretty big upgrade on check-in. Anyway, my fault. The room was large, but worn out. The carpet is actually borderline disgusting. It's in bad need of replacement. Everything is a bit worn, though the bathroom was OK and relatively clean. Bed, not particularly comfortable. Location is walkable to the old city, which is good, and the parking lot is adequate, if not slightly tight. Was most disappointed in the age and condition of room for such a pricey stay. Definitely in need of some renovation.
Be the first to ReplyNice hotel, good location.
We were on a tour in Northern Italy and stayed in this interesting town and this very pleasant hotel. The hotel is in a good central location. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The breakfast buffet has lots of delicious, fresh options. The rooms are clean and comfortable with good storage space.
Be the first to ReplyFantastic Hotel
We had a 2night stop over here to explore this beautiful town, the hotel is amazing from you walk through the doors, staff very pleasant and helpful the rooms were of a good size( we had the standard room) and spotless, we breakfast out in the front of the hotel in the sunshine rear of hotel has nice gardens an outdoor bar and restaurant and a nice pool didn't really want leave but giving the chance we will return..
Be the first to ReplyElegant, charming and quaint hotel
This well-maintained hotel is absolutely charming! The rooms are spacious and immaculately clean. A bit old fashioned in a classy, elegant, and beautiful way. The mature, lush garden is a piece of paradise and offers respite especially if one is traveling for work. The staff are all nice and very helpful.
Be the first to ReplyCouldn't have picked a better place
I give this hotel and its staff the highest possible rating in all categories. My husband and I stayed for 2 nights initially, in July 2022. The location is ideal--a short, tree-lined block from the train station. The property itself is elegant. The rooms are immaculate, with marble baths, large windows which open, excellent views and comfortable beds. (This became very important because of my unique circumstance described below.) The breakfast, included in the price of the room, was a sumptuous buffet of breads, pastries, sliced meats, poached eggs, yogurt, cheeses, fresh fruit and muesli. If one desires something not on the buffet such as scrambled eggs, the kitchen will serve it up in minutes. Room service delivers food on time and in ample quantities, beautifully presented. The price is very reasonable for the location, amenities and service. But the best feature of the Hotel is the staff. We came to Bolzano to participate in a hiking tour of the Dolomites. I became ill the day after our arrival, and the day we were to check out for the hiking tour. I tested positive for Covid and therefore was required to isolate for at least 7 days. (In Italy, one must isolate until they test negative.) This was the height of the summer season and rooms were scarce. Without prior notice to the staff, and with no reservation, they graciously allowed me to stay in our third floor hotel room for an additional 6 nights. They even gave my husband (who was asymptomatic and Covid negative) a separate room for the night, as he made plans to return to the US. The staff was outstanding during the rest of my stay. As I was unable to leave my room or have any in-person contact, I was completely dependent on the hotel staff. I could not have scripted a better response to every request I made of the staff, whether food, trash bags, fresh towels/sheets, etc. Before leaving, my husband thanked one of the young desk clerks for being so pleasant and attentive. Her response, in near perfect English, captured the essence of my experience. "Covid will touch all of us", she said. "We are treating your wife like we would want to be treated." This could represent the best application of the "Golden Rule" that I have encountered. I strongly suggest you stay at the Park Hotel Laurin while in Bolzano. I hope to return one day myself, to enjoy the Hotel and the wonderful people of that city.

The staff was lovely especially the maids and the waitstaff. The air conditioning was virtually non existent and even tho it was an exceptionally warm time we were told that the AC could not go below 23 degrees which made the Room quite hot Everything was clean. But the hotel rooms looked a little worn out

if you look for a brilliant stay in a blooming green landscape inmidst vinyards, castles and snow-coverd mountain tops, try Bozen/Bolzano in may. Hotel Laurin, right next to the railway station, offers the perfect fin-de-sciecle ambiente for grandious holiday with style. great breakfast, pleasant garden with pool, opulent bar and restaurant. you will want to come again! Hotel was incredible. Friendly staff always available to help. The food was great. The pastries were to die for. Close to everything. The concierge arranged everything for us. Rooms were pretty big. Never wanted to leave!
Be the first to ReplyWonderful hotel, great location
We stayed over Christmas and enjoyed every moment. Our room was wonderful and even had a walk in closet, what an incredible feature to offer! Staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed a hearty breakfast each morning and the coffee is superb. We had booked in to have Christmas dinner at the hotel and it did not disappoint. The menu was fantastic and the staff offered impeccable service. Location of the hotel is perfect to enjoy the beautiful town of Bolzano.
Be the first to ReplyA real international 4star hotel
I got there around 9pm after a long day of work and about 3hrs driving.
They gave me a better room (larger, with a great view) for free and a complimentary drink at the hotel bar.
The bar, open until 1.00 am is cozy, classy, but not too formal.
They have a good selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks (and an amazing Keller version of Forst beer), and snacks available until they close, including sandwiches, desserts, etc.
You can make a dinner out of those.
Perhaps because I was alone, and it was Sunday night, but the price was incredibly low for the offer.
Beautiful
A great hotel in a great location. It is built in the style of the Centenary period, very well maintained and tastefully renovated rooms. The service - especially in the restaurant at breakfast - was a perfect imitation of the atmosphere of the period.
