Wonderful time here.
The steak tartare was delightful and they had a nice wine selection. Was nice sitting outside for people watching with the heaters on.

Stopped by here for a drink and a few appetizers for lunch with a friend. I tried the French onion soup and appetizer ravioli, both delicious and flavorful. The service was also great, even though it was quite busy. Definitely want to return for their dinner menu.
Be the first to ReplyI love parc.
It's popular for a reason. I prefer to not stress about grabbing a table or making a reservation here, but love a good Tuesday evening or Sunday at the bar, ordering a cocktail at the bar, getting the French onion soup, or dessert. They have some of the best and most knowledgeable bartenders in the city who are always happy to make recommendations. I also love the open air, old and grand French ambience. Definitely a Philly staple!

My favorite restaurant in the city for years because they are consistent . It's easy to wow for awhile but PARC is ALWAYS good .. all the time any meal!! The bread basket is the best anywhere. Favorites are: French Onion Soup ... Warm Shrimp Salad .. Steak Frites .. Profiteroles. Favorite cocktail the Romarin. At the top of the game for years!!
Be the first to ReplyGreat food, good service.
Reservation was easy on a weekend. Parking is near by. Servers were very friendly.
Be the first to ReplyParc is always exceptional - service, food, atmosphere.
I've been to each meal/seating and it's difficult to pick which is best. If you can get a table, don't miss this spot. Also, love sitting out on the sidewalk in the warm weather.
Be the first to ReplyService was friendly, attentive, and quick.
The tables are a little close together, but otherwise the ambience is great. We went for dinner and ordered the beef bourguignon and cheese omelet. Or food came out very quickly and was delicious. They also do scan to pay on their checks, so you can pay on your phone rather than wait for your server. More restaurants should offer this option!
Be the first to ReplyExcellent dining experience as well as great service.
The food was exquisite and the ambiance reminds one of the tales of the Great Gatsby.
Be the first to ReplyWent to Parc recently for a work dinner.
Having only been for brunch in the past (which I am a big fan of), I was eager to try the dinner menu. Overall I was pleasantly surprised by how great the food was. Our server was attentive and knew the menu very well. Parc always provides a basket of bread before the meal. I love bread, but it seemed to be an excessive amount of bread prior to ordering the meal. My group started the meal with the Tuna carpaccio, mushroom tart, and escargot. All of these starters were good, but would not call them particularly unique. The star of my meal was the Trout. It was cooked to perfection and covered in butter, lemon and toasted almonds. The toasted almonds soaked in the butter sauce were UNREAL! Overall I had a very good meal. It was a bit rich (i.e butter forward) for my usual taste, but the vibes were high and the food was delicious. My major issue is the high prices for most of these dishes, but that is why I like brunch at Parc a bit better (great food for more reasonable prices).

As to my previous comment the issue has been addressed and taken care of. The chicken kiev was well worth the wait. It's delicious!
Be the first to ReplyA little bit of a long wait at lunchtime but not bad.
Food was great and very nice unique menu. Waiter was super friendly and the prices are reasonable.

The ambiance of Parc is simply stunning, with its elegant décor and charming outdoor seating area. However, I have to admit that I found the food to be a bit overpriced. While the quality was certainly good, I couldn't help but feel like I was paying more than I should have for the dishes that were served.Additionally, I was a bit disappointed with the service at Parc. While the staff was certainly friendly and welcoming, I didn't feel like I was receiving the level of service that one would expect from a fine dining establishment. I found myself waiting a bit longer than I would have liked for my food to arrive, and there were a few instances where my server seemed a bit distracted and not fully attentive to my needs.Overall, while Parc certainly has its charms, I have to say that my experience was just okay. While I enjoyed the food, I felt that it was a bit overpriced, and the service could have been more attentive.
Be the first to ReplyAbove average French spot.
Solid location and upbeat crowd. Jury is still out on some of the bar staff. Overall recommend for boozy snacking. Cheers! -R

Be the first to ReplyMaking my way through Starr's portfolio and was
Making my way through Starr's portfolio and was particularly excited to try Parc for brunch on a Saturday morning in March. A signature Philadelphia dining experience for good reason, this brasserie boasts delightfully curated menus for any time of day. It's beautifully decorated and delivers the kind of "organized chaos" atmosphere that makes dining out feel like a full body experience, which I always love. Serve staff is the heart of this restaurant and didn't miss a beat throughout my 90 minutes, giving great suggestions and dutifully trying to upsell me on the coffee bar. I salute you!Our server steered me towards the egg white omelette which wasn't even on my radar and turned out to be exactly what I was craving. Light but substantial, especially given the pile of potates' it came with. This is a ratatouille dish complimented by rich goat cheese that I WISH I could have finished. Absolutely lived up to the hype! Started with the escargot as well and will say that dish + bread basket = a pure, delightful, indulgent start to any meal.I look forward to many future Parc trips in my future: warm summer days sipping wine on the sidewalk, celebratory meals with friends, middle of the day drinks at the bar, and of course the occasional brunch...where I forego all of my cares and let the serve staff upsell me on a fancy latte. Lucky to know you, Parc. Stay cute.

Be the first to Replytl;dr between delectable dishes and stellar service, this
tl;dr between delectable dishes and stellar service, this bougie bistro is one of the few Rittenhouse restaurants truly well worth its hypeParc needs no introduction. One of Philadelphia's most recognizable restaurants, this Parisan-inspired brasserie is unsurprisingly also one of the city's most popular. I've dined at Parc a handful of times over my near-decade in Philly -- early bird weekday breakfast, people-watching over summer brunch, outdoors lunch during peak pandemic. But I've yet to check one item off my Philly bucket list: Parc's dinner service. After scheduling and rescheduling our meal a handful of times, I finally nabbed a much sought-after reservation for an indoor dinner.Smack dab at the East side of Rittenhouse Square, Parc invites diners to people-watch from woven seats and marble tables at arguably the most bougie street-ery in the city. But the interior is no slouch. The expansive space feels twice the size due to the many panes of glass and metal mirrors, and it remains comfortably roomy despite fitting countless standalone tables, half-booths, and a full bar. During the daytime, sunlight pours in through the ceiling-high wrap-around windows, while dropdown lighting fixtures and candles cast a warm hue in the evening. Parc nails the bistro-esque details, from the intricate tile floors and walls, to the ruby-red upholstery, to the tastefully worn oak finishes. The restaurant bustles with waitstaff chopping bread loaves and acrobatically balancing food and drink between tables. The room echoes with chatter and instrumental jazz, but conversation never feels like a challenge. We arrived right on time for our dinner reservation and checked in at the foyer. We were directed toward a second host desk indoors, and, immediately, I was hit with the aroma of freshly baked bread. As we settled into our table, a basket of that same bread hit the table. The 3 varieties -- French baguette, sourdough, and whole grain with walnuts and cranberries --each sported a crisp crust and pillowy center. We kicked off our meal with the Onion Soup Gratinee, the Mushroom Tart, and the Beet Salad. Among these, the clear winner was the French onion soup. The ceramic bowl was filled to the brim, with melty Comte cheese pouring over the top. The uber-rich broth was swimming with saturated croutons and caramelized onions, perfect to pair with our bread basket. My partner's favorite dish was the tart. The earthy filling was heavy on mushroom and truffle notes, served warm (but not hot) within a chewy pastry. Lastly, living up to its name, the beet salad was beet-forward and slightly sweet, highlighted by the addition of hazelnuts. For the main course, we opted for the Steak Tartare, the Beef Bourguignon, and a side of Pommes Frites. The hockey puck-sized disk of tartare was appropriately herby and topped with a freshly cracked quail egg. Served beside lightly dressed greens and a few slices of French bread, it was pleasant, if not somewhat forgettable compared to our other standout dishes. The beef bourguignon was the tastiest dish of the night, featuring melt-in-your-mouth meat and a mouthwateringly rich red wine sauce. I especially loved the fleetingly few, bacon-like lardon chunks. Finally, the fries, served with ketchup and mayo, reminded me most vividly of McDonald's (in the best possible way).Service was impeccable throughout the night. We immediately felt welcomed and never felt rushed. Our all-star waiter even surprised us with a few orange cookies to celebrate our special occasion. The bill totaled a bit more than $150 total (after tax and tip). Parc's reputation and popularity no doubt speak for themselves, but I'm happy to report that our dinner experience was an all-around hit well worth the nearly 10-year wait.
Be the first to ReplyIt is a difficult place to get seats.
If it's just you or two of you, you can try to see if bar seats are open but have a back up plan. Your best bet is making reservations online--it's a Steven Starr restaurant so you can go on OpenTable. Food here is good and consistent--it's the food consistency, good service, and location (I'll explain later) that wins this place 5 stars. My favorite dish is an appetizer--their ricotta ravioli. I'm typically a meat in my ravioli kind of person but these are so delicious I've had them as my entree with any one of their salads. But you cannot go wrong with their raw seafood, onion soup, deviled eggs, escargots, chicken liver parfait, or steak frites. The scene indoors feels like a large, bustling, well-run bistro and getting the outside two-tops that face Rittenhouse park is particularly fun since there's great people-watching in that area, but you've got to make reservations to get those seats. I love sipping on their sparkling rose, eating any of their fruits de mer and just watching people walking by and in the park. Great way to slow down and relax.
Be the first to Replyalways love my time here.
takes you away from real life and into a Parisian fairtale. the food is always amazing. i love the escargot and carpaccio. the warm shrimp salad is also a favorite. the drinks are always on point and the service is great. i love the view of rittenhouse square and on a nice sunny day you can even sit with your fur baby outside. i always recommend this place to anyone visiting from out of town.
Be the first to ReplyGreat place to have a dinner.
I ordered beef tartar twice. So yummy. Friendly and professional service. I did not make any reservations but they find a space for my family. Such a great restaurant
Be the first to ReplyThe Best French restaurant in the area.
Very busy, requires reservations at least 2 weeks in advance especially for Friday. French Onion soup is delicious and oysters are amazing! Highly recommend to try but do a reservation in advance. The line without reservations is crazy and number of people are like a crowd because of their popularity.
