Stale and tasteless food
We wanted to give this restaurant a try hoping we'd have some yummy Japanese food. The hibachi steak was so tasteless and smelled stale that I still find it unbelievable they served it to customers without any concern. The scallops were stale too. Only the two shrimps we ate were fresh, The noodles were store bought spagetti. The waitresses didn't know much about the menu or menu items, they kept saying they just started working there thus bringing us the wrong sushi platter. We will never go there again,

This is a hidden gem in the heart of Yorktown. It is hard to find but you can’t get better sushi or hibachi anywhere else. I highly recommend this Asian bistro.

A Japanese dish made of small portions of sticky white rice flavored with vinegar, usually wrapped in seaweed and filled or topped with fish, vegetables or meat.

I came with my 92 year old mom and she loved everything. Most fresh and delicious. I had the sushi and she had salmon and mixed vegetables. we loved everything.

Love this place. Great service and value. Food is fresh and fun. Everything I've ordered has been great. Usually not crowded so it's a great date place.

Decent Japanese restaurant, nothing special. Family has been to quite a few hibachi restaurants and unfortunately this location doesn't entertain in the preparation of the food as well as others to the point this location is 10 minutes from our residence where we travel an additional 20 minutes to another similar type restaurant. Food is average so if you're looking to eat and also get entertained I would look at a different location.

We were feeling like sushi so we headed to Yorktown and found our old favorite, Empire Hunan was closed. So we went to Okinawa located in back of the Triangle Shopping Center. I've been there twice before, once when it was new and another time a year or two later. Okinawa arrived in town years ago and has become somewhat shabby. Few patrons were present at 4:30 pm on a Sunday which is not unusual. Only half of the long sushi bar cooler was being used and not much was in it, not a good sign. The Maki rolls were modest and the salmon was mediocre, not buttery and rich like we're used to at other restaurants. I had the Chirashi sushi which was good, but the rice wasn't fresh and it had less fish than I'm used to. Overall, I wasn't impressed enough to return. Sorry Okinawa, you've lost me for good.

Ive seen good and bad reviews but ive never had a bad experience here. Food has always been fresh. Either Hibachi or booth seating.

We had hibachi. The food was all good but they barely gave any lo mein and not enough rice. On top of that, the fried rice was extra money. For over $30 a plate, we expect to be full. Also, our chef was boring. Put absolutely no show on while the other chefs seemed like they were having a blast. Too bad. This place had potential. We spent over $250 but left hungry.

I've been there dozens of times and never regretted it. Their Chinese food is excellent but I particularly enjoy the Japanese food and the Vietnamese choices. All excellent! The place is quite large and I've never had to wait. (It can feel quite cavernous when there aren't many people there.) I've never had their hibatchi, but the people in the hibatchi room always sound like they're having a great time.
