Okinawa Sushi Hibachi Restaurant Yorktown Heights Reviews from The Last Year
Been ordering out and dining in from this restaurant for
Been ordering out and dining in from this restaurant for quite a while. The sashimi is the best deal around. Usually order salmon, tuna and yellowtail. We have ordered from other places in the Katonah area and found Okinawa to have better pricing and sized pieces compared to all other places. Had sashimi at other places that was so thin you can see through it. You actually feel that you're getting what you should and not getting ripped off. This mom and pop restaurant is the place to go. The wait staff has been nothing short of perfect and completely accommodating in every way. The restaurant is very clean and quite comfortable. Tables and chairs are spread out nicely, not packed together.

Not a pleaser, but I might be factoring in my weariness for this type of cuisine. Best part of this restaurant was the nice and friendly young man who engaged us several times during the meal. As for food and service, Okinawa falls short. The skimpy undersized salad came out ladened with ice particles, indicating it's lengthy shelf life in the freezer. Steak tasted old and flavorless, while Julie's chicken was just average. Sauce servings were minimal and unimpressive. Since we were in the area, we decided to give this place a try, but we are unlikely to become repeat customers.
Okinawa on a Sunday night.
... Good food but no waiters or waitresses. We were given plates and silverware to pass out and our appetizers came out... seconds later our main courses came out. There was no room on the table so we told "the guy" to hold the main course. It's a good thing they have an excellent sushi maker and a good good cook. Not sure I'll ever go back. It was very uncomfortable.

Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.

My reservation expired but I did not get a credit and I see no way to cancel. How do I the funds back as a credit?

I have a similar question, it seems like when money is refunded it doesnt go immediately what is the process of this since its essentially a debit card and not a credit card
