EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE
I sat at the counter and the sushi chef was excellent. He made me about 10 or more special dishes which were both beautiful in appearance and outstanding in flavor.
Be the first to ReplyVery very good and very very very very expensive.
Very very good and very very very very expensive. Nobu is a beautiful restaurant located in a beautiful hotel - Hotel Crescent Court - in Dallas. TIP - you can self park underground for a cheaper price than the valet because you will need your money to pay your bill for dinner. We loved our meal - we had fried rice with spicy salmon (not spicy at all), Brussel sprouts, sea bass with spicy jalapeno (not spicy) - which were all delicious. The lychee martini is delicious too. Next time, I want to visit and try the sushi. I have a better idea of the food portions and prices.
Be the first to ReplyThe 8 course Omakase was a treat
Yesterday, I decided to stop by Nobu Dallas for the first time. I wanted a delicious wagyu steak and have been attempting to try Nobu in Las Vegas but never make it. I sat at the bar and decided to do the 8 course tasting menu since wagyu was included. It was simply divine. The first four courses was cold. I decided to have the lychee martini with those. The 5-7 courses were hot and I had a glass of wine with those and the final dessert course , I had a glass of ice wine. It was nearly 2 hours and they tell you to expect two hours for service. The gentleman at the bar was delightful. After a few weeks of travel, I deserved this. Hands down the best sushi I’ve ever had and the best wagyu beef. Worth every penny!

Be the first to ReplyAmazing service is the difference
The service in the Dallas location is amazing. Our long time server Jose Cutz is amazing. We always get a personalized experience with Jose. He is one of the main reasons we go to Nobu Dallas as much we we do!!!
Be the first to ReplyGreat birthday experience!
Went to Nobu Dallas on 9/30/22 for my birthday dinner- absolutely amazing! I read all the reviews and seemed like it was a mixed bag, but I wanted to be very open. The restaurant is in the Crescent Court Hotel in Uptown Dallas. You can valet for $15 or validate self parking for up to three hours. Enter the hotel and the restaurant is to the right. The restroom is down a flight of stairs by the wine room though. Everyone was very nice, service was so attentive, and our waiter was personable and very knowledgeable. He suggested to get 3 cold dishes and 3 hot dishes, then to order more if we would like. Here is what we ordered: 3 cold dishes: these are smaller portions, 6 bites. -Yellowtail jalapeño: a Tiktok recommendation, and for good reason! So so fresh and just melt in your mouth! -Crispy Rice with spicy tuna: rice was so crisp and the spicy tuna was so smooth and a perfect compliment to the rice. -And we didn't know what other cold dish to pick, so our waiter recommended a salmon dish...the freshest and best salmon I've had (3rd picture). Hot dishes: these portions were big, and between 3 people it was 3-4 slices. -Rock shrimp tempura: literally a lot of food-super fresh shrimp pieces with a delicious tangy sauce and a perfectly balanced salad underneath. -Scallops with jalapeño: my least favorite, but the scallops were perfect. It was served with brussel sprouts in the jalapeño sauce. As someone who doesn't like brussel sprouts, these were very tasty. This was our waiters recommendation. -Beef Toban: this was another recommendation from our waiter. The beef was medium rare, perfectly cooked, and loved the sauce. The beef was a nice change with all the seafood. I then ordered two pieces of sushi because I love sushi, and let our waiter pick. He recommend a scallop and I believe a yellowtail sushi piece. Melt in your mouth, so fresh, delicious. Drinks: -ordered a lycée martini: not my favorite, very strong, didn't care for. -Exclusive Sake Flight: best sake I've had. The three different sakes were so uniquely different, so smooth, and my favorite was the TK 40. Desert: -Miso Cappuccino: ordered this because of reviews. It was just meh to me personally, but my dad loved it! Smooth, sweet, good coffee taste with a crunch cookie layer. -Buttermilk doughnuts: this was my favorite. Doughnuts were light and cinnamon-y, with a great maple syrup/caramel sauce. -since it was my birthday they brought out a little desert sampler with a candle. It had a pumpkin spice macaroon (10/10), a dark chocolate piece (5/10), and a milk chocolate cookie piece (9/10). All in all, I had a great time and had some amazing food. I think the hot dish portions were a good size, and I think ordering 3 cold and 3 hot like suggested is a good amount of food. We even took some leftovers home. I think during and after Covid they had a rough time, but I didn't see any of what the negative reviews noted when I went. Ambience is great, waiter was incredible, and I would recommend for a great high end dining experience.
Be the first to ReplyPerfunctory attention marred good food .
Perfunctory attention . I want to reiterate that service was not rude but it felt like I was at at Chipotle Mexican grill as opposed to Nobu . Seating in a corner facing kitchen didn’t help .

Food was delicious! The buttermilk donuts are divine!! The ambiance was nice but the server was not very attentive
Be the first to ReplyWonderfull display of culinary art and flavor.
Extraordinary freshness, my wife and I have dined in Tokyo, and never would we have thought that we would have another experience like our time there. For a brief evening we were able to go back in time and relive some of the wonderfully delicious delights of the sushi across the ocean. We will be back. It would be even better if more people could afford this experience.
Be the first to ReplyExcellent Dinner Experience
We were there for our Anniversary. We both had the Omakase which is the 8 course chef’s tasting menu. Each dish was beautifully plated and presented. The flavors were amazing. As each dish was presented the staff explained what each item was. It is not a cheap meal but it is definitely worth the price.
Be the first to ReplyA unique experience.
We did the $200 dollar chef special, 8 course plus desert discovery experience. Yes it is expensive, but it was well worth it. Each dish was superb, except for the soup that was too common. However 7 out of 8 courses were absolutely superb. The desert was also unique and delicious. Japanese cuisine is not renown for its deserts, but Nobu really surprised us with a delicious end of a wonderful meal.
Be the first to ReplyPoor service and the food has declined from our multiple previous visits to dallas Nobu
Not sure it is worth it anymore. Used to be my favorite place. I’ll skip it the next time I’m in Dallas.
Be the first to ReplyA very welcomed treat in Dallas
A welcomed treat during a long business trip. The happy hour menu was a great bonus and the staff was very friendly.
Be the first to ReplyNobu Dallas Disappointing for Third & Final time in last 3 years.
Nobu is not the world class experience we normally expect, the last 3 times we have been to Nobu over the last 3 years. Obviously we understand that there are staffing challenges because of Covid. The number of tables have been reduced. The staff has been reduced. We waited 45 minutes for our drinks and first course to be delivered. Don’t take reservations past 9:15pm if you are not going to wait on people until 10pm, and have last call at 10:30pm. If you are running late, that doesn’t mean you get to close early. You have to stay late. Train your staff in this manner and they will speed up the tempo when their time is threatened.
The food was lackluster, and boring. We always get the premium chef’s tasting. We waited 45 minutes for the first course, and the 3/4th courses were served on top of each other. The sushi was warm where it should have been cold. That’s ALWAYS weird to me. I watched as several sushi plates were set up on the counter for over 20 minutes. I’m sure it’s fine, and nothing happens to the sushi other than the temp and texture change, but it doesn’t taste as good. The sauces were not seasoned, just bland liquids poured around some pretty accents. There was nothing “WOW” about our experience.
There is apparently no longer a dress code either which made the ambiance more like a hotel restaurant and not a world class 5 star dining experience.
We have celebrated several anniversaries and birthdays with Nobu Dallas over the last 8 years, but unfortunately this will be our last. Our funds our limited for $500 dinners, so we will go where we know we will have a great experience in the future, and it’s not Nobu anymore. :(
An experience worth remembering
Definitely an experience. We let our server make a menu for us coz Omakase was getting delayed. She did a great job and we were served 8 courses, each with its own taste and we loved each dish. Expensive but worth it as it was our anniversary celebration. Will be back soon for some celebration.
Be the first to ReplyNobu Did Not Disappoint!
This was our first time to visit any Nobu restaurant and we were very happy with our experience! The service was excellent and the food was delicious. The next time we are in Dallas, we will definitely be going back to Nobu!
Be the first to ReplyBirthday dinner at nobu
Dinner was delicious, the ambiance was amazing, the service was fast and attentive, but you have to go down 3 flights of stairs to go to the restroom.
Be the first to ReplyWonderful!
Okay yes, it is very expensive (our meal, with tip, was almost $700 for 4 people) BUT.... it was amazing! Our waitress was wonderful, the food was exceptional (although I could eat an entire meal of those spicy edamame along with lychee martinis), service great. I ordered the sea bass and asked for it to be very well cooked (most places would cringe at that request) but it came out done to perfection! Going back next week!
