I went here for a birthday dinner and had such an incredible time. Their plates are meant to be shared family style so I recommend going with a large group and splitting a few dishes. We ordered the traditional dip selection, myth chips, and the smoked aubergine. The myth tips are a must - with very crispy zucchini! The interior is also very cozy with candle lit lighting.

Title: Disappointing Birthday Celebration We recently booked this restaurant for a friend's birthday celebration, and unfortunately, it turned out to be a terrible experience that we won't forget. Despite mentioning the occasion in the reservation, the service was chaotic with 3-4 individuals constantly hovering around our table. Within 30 minutes of receiving our food, the staff repeatedly interrupted, asking if we were done and wanting to clear the table, even though we still had full plates. When we inquired, they explained our table was booked for a limited time, which is understandable, but the constant rush left a negative impression. An hour and a half into our meal, we had to remind them about the birthday celebration, requesting dessert with a candle. Unfortunately, they forgot twice, and by the time they brought it, they insisted on moving us to a makeshift "bar" near the water station. We were left standing for dessert as they urgently needed our table back. Despite expressing our dissatisfaction to the manager, who apologized and promised a gift card, no such compensation was received. Overall, it was a truly disappointing experience, and we have decided never to return.
Be the first to ReplyWe had an amazing experience at Myth.
The food and beverages were amazing. Food very timely and so fresh. The food had that amazing Greek / Mediterranean Flair. The highlight of the evening was our server Adonis - he was informative, friendly , and loved his job!! A huge shout out to wonderful Must when in Toronto ! #TorontoMichelinworthy

Myth is a beautiful restaurant serving meze platters, seafood, and flaming Greek cheese. The restaurant is decked out floor to ceiling with accents from Greece, evoking those same coastal lounge vibes. While the restaurant and the patrons can seem a tad pretentious, the food is good and the atmosphere is fancy.

Myth's mezze platter ($35) consists of a collection of dishes, and I love that it showcases some lesser-known dips. Of course, there's the popular hummus, which was thick and filling, but the mezze also featured a silky smooth taramasalata that has an umami saltiness to it from the cured roe. Warning to vegetarians, if I hadn't been told there was fish in the dip, I would have never known. The roe adds a brininess to the dip without any fishiness. If you enjoy feta, try the tirokafteri dip that uses the cheese as the base but has a hit of peppers that creates an unexpected spiciness. It goes great with the soft warm pita or smeared onto the crudite given it had such a flavourful salty kick. While a bit cheesy (pun intended), the cheer of "opa!" before setting the ouzo on fire is what makes saganaki ($22) such a staple. The kefalograviera cheese was oh so gooey, salty, and lightened with just a hint of lemon. I just wished there was more than one piece of toasted bread to go with it. It's not everyday you find raw fish at a Greek restaurant. Myth uses slices of yellowtail hamachi in the magiatiko ($28) adorned with an olive tapenade that was too overpowering. If anything, the dollop of creamy taramasalata (the same fish roe dip featured in the mezze) was more than salty enough. Still, it was beautifully plated and a great light starter. The arancini was good... less creamy than an Italian version, but also didn't leave me feeling as full. It was smartly paired with a feta mousse, which added a touch of sauciness to the risotto but didn't detract from the crunchy crust. Surprisingly, I really enjoyed the beetroot carpaccio, so much so that I'd prefer it to the beef counterpart. The sweet thinly slice beets were enhanced with tangy yogurt and a yellow beet mousse. Because there were so many creamy ingredients, the roasted pecans worked nicely to add a contrasting texture. Sadly, the dish isn't on their regular menu, which really should be included as it's a hit. This is a long review, visit Gastro World for the rest.

Looking for a unique Greek eat? A bit more upscale at King St, Myth serves sharing platters at this gorgeous new location. The food was amazing, I'm normally not a fan of Greek food but I thought everything was seasoned and tasted so good. The drinks did not disappoint. Someone at the table ordered a specialty cocktail and it came with a cute fortune! The area and the food itself are very photo worthy. The service was great and the waiters were very helpful when it came to recommendations on the menu. Although the plates are meant to be shared, it can get very pricey! At the time of going, two skewers were $25! They also only take one form of payment. It was a nice experience but I'm not too sure I can justify the price for some dishes that I think the proportions are too small for a group. Perhaps if you go with less people it will make it more worth.
Be the first to ReplyThis place is alllllll about the ambiance.
You walk in and get confused thinking you made a reservation for a spa appointment from the smell at the entrance to the super cool and relaxing decor. I would emulate my home after this place! Very trendy for the "influencers" to take some cute pics, and the food is really good. We ordered two off the menu bowls of tzatziki because we can eat it by the spoonful. The zucchini chips were my favorite and my filet mignon kabobs we're also great, but definitely not worth $50. Eek! The staff all dressed in the same short, tank top dress and it was very chic/cute. Their service was a nice pace and the ladies were sweet. I would come back again, for sure.

at first it was hard to find I literally circled the block twice before I was able to actually find the building but once I got inside it was just beautiful ! The ambience of the restaurant was just amazing I love how they had the music playing it didn't have any lyrics but it was just like a calm soothing vibe the lights were them and it was just nice Overall ! I sat at the bar and they took my coat for me and went to go hang it up. the bartender was super nice to me she gave me some recommendations being that I am American and explain what some of the items were ! Food came out fairly fast and it was so delicious I would definitely recommend this to my friends and family and I would go back again especially for the infamous hallway

Such a pricey place so be prepared to break the bank when you come here, but can honestly say it was worth it. It felt like you were going into a restaurant in Mykonos, the atmosphere was so romantic and fun. The tiger shrimps and octopus were my favourite menu items. I'm Mediterranean so I know good sea food and Myth is *chefs kiss.* Also order the santorini sunset cocktail it was phenomenal.

Long story short:Delicious, fresh and expensive, but in my opinion, worth it! The food was prepared well and staff were kind and attentive, caught only a slight snag with their poor scheduling/overbooking.Long story ...long:I've been here twice. Both times, it was delicious, but expensive. The first time I went with friends, the highlight was the scallop risotto (which is no longer an item on the menu), but it was the best scallops I have ever had on King Street. The second time, I went with my family. We made reservations for 4 on a Tuesday evening. We arrived slightly early, so we understood when they told us to wait either at the bar or outside. We opted for outside since 4 people waiting at the bar is a bit awkward, and waited for our reservation time. After checking in, we were told again that our table wasn't ready. We ended up waiting more than 30 minutes past our reservation time on a special celebratory night, among other patrons who also had to wait. The hosts did their best, but couldn't provide clarity as to how long we had to wait. When we finally got our booth (a large one at that), the manager was hospitable and accommodating and brought us mezes and flaming saganaki free of charge. A big thank you to him for handling it well, definitely rectified the situation, softening our hangry hearts. I'm hoping this overbooking is a one-off problem. The food was great and fresh! We ordered the grilled octopus, horiatiki salad to share, grilled sea bass, chicken souvlaki, and slow-cooked lamb shoulder. The waitress also offered to de-bone the fish. She was so skilled and quick! It was great to watch. The decor and ambiance is lovely, with dim, golden lighting. The staff are kind and attentive. Our waters never ran out.We ended our night happy and full. I do recommend a visit!

We had some great hopes for this place, the ambiance was fine until they turned down most of the lights. Service was good but the food totally lacked. The appetizers were good but we ordered the Tomahawk as well as the chicken and both failed. For 1000k that we spent I would never go back again.

Myth is a gorgeous restaurant, I loved the design! We had a last minute reservation and were seated at the bar, which was fine. We started with ordering drinks, we asked a first bartender for suggestions but he couldn't get what my friend wanted so we asked another one and bingo! She was happy with her drink, me not so much.We ordered a few items from the menu and honestly, it was ok, but not as good/flavoured as what I expected it to be. I really wanted to love this place, especially since I'm the one who suggested it, service and vibe were great but the food, which is the most important thing to me, wasn't that great. 3,5/5
Be the first to ReplyI'll save you the trip.
I speak for anyone that is Greek and knows anything about Greek vibe, this gave me Egyptian vibes more-so Greek. Also, it felt like I was in a pyramid with the consistent lighting of brown... Not to mention, it was so dark I didn't really see what I was eating. Only based on texture you'd find out you were eating fried calamari. I should've listened to my family/friends when they said they were sick afterward. Maybe their sensitive stomachs couldn't digest well that day, but no. To no failure, I was sick as well. Not only me, but my partner. I've never been sick eating Greek food, let alone mediterranean in general. Oh, and to top it off, the food is priced the same as most 5-Star fine dining restaurants. Also, is it Greek if I have to ask for tzatziki? Literally 4 dishes and no tzatziki. Name me one person who eats fried kalamari with some sort-of garlic sauce, AT A GREEK RESTAURANT. Nothing on the pork pita, nothing with the chicken skewer. the waitress was nice enough to give us a nice fat portion to make-up for the lack of tzatziki.Anyways, there was no heist decision to compensate us or make it better. I'll be disputing this with Visa. 2 stars for friendly service and because they actually greet you in Greek. (The only Greek thing about this place). 2/5
Be the first to ReplyWay too loud.
Not even for a good time, there is a time and place for that amount of dB.Food is ridiculously good; nonetheless, the mostly negative review stays. A restaurant, however posh, cannot be this loud.

Although my visit was not for a full meal I have nothing to say but good things. The cocktails were wonderful, the appetizers delicious and I swear the Greek fries were the best I ever had.The bartender was pleasant and engaging and despite not ordering dinner I was treated as a valued patron

I didn't have high expectations of this spot as seldom do from this neighborhood. Most places are see and be seen Instagram etc. Spots with mediocre food and more about the ambiance. The space is designed with social media in mind with stunning interior and plenty of insta worthh moments. We had booked the patio area and even that was ear piercing loud they opened up the shades. I can't imagine how loud it gets inside. Here is a play by play of the foodDips trio decent. I enjoyed the pepper version.Myth fries were a hit as pipping hot and not greasyOctopus gorgeous to look at though I would have preferred more of a char to elevate it a bitMains I didn't try the lamb but was well likedChicken souvlaki was a generous portion and done very well. Nice chunks of chicken seasoned be well and not over cooked. RecommendedLobster pasta was my main. I enjoyed it though not sure it's a Greek dish. Good nonethelessThey are priced on the higher side. The cocktail that I didn't try was more of a gimmick. Good spot for Greek food if you want to splurge

I read so many mixed reviews on this restaurant but really wanted to come to experience the beautiful venue. If your looking to be entertained, they have an incredible violinist that plays for the patrons. The music is super loud... more like a club vibe than restaurant. The Meze dips were trash. The beef carpaccio wasn't good either. The main was even worse...I was hoping the chicken souvlaki would save the evening but it was cold and bland. The lemon potatoes are literally whole baby potatoes with no flavour or seasoning! For the price of their dishes, it blows my mind how terrible the food actually was! The best item on their menu, and the only reason I'd come back would be for their espresso martini.. which was so delicious! And their baklava. It has the perfect amount of sweetness and is so so good! Id give 5 stars for those 2 items and that would be it.

The ambience is immaculate! It feels like you're transported to a beach club overseas. The food is on the pricier side, but everything was tasty. You can't ever go wrong with saganaki, the rack of lamb was cooked to a perfect medium rare as requested, feta fries were crispy, salad was pretty standard for a Greek salad with tomato, thin slivers of cucumber & feta, and the tomahawk was juicy but over cooked on the ends. I wouldn't recommend the seafood linguine.. it tasted like an ordinary seafood linguine, nothing special and for $46 save your money. For the price point, it is definitely over priced for what it is. I wouldn't go back frequently but maybe for a special occasion. They had great music and good vibes. Friendly waitress.

I got invited to Myth for a birthday dinner- my friend found the restaurant on tiktok and decided to give it a try. Here's a quick summary of my personal experience from Myth: * Our reservation was at 5pm- when we went in, the restaurant was fairly empty, only two or three other tables* We were provided with QR codes for the food and drink menus* The washrooms were located in the basement of the restaurant, and for what it was worth, the decor and cleanliness was a 10/10!Potential Pros: * Very good meat quality- I ordered lamb for the first time, and Myth succeeded in giving me a good experience :)* Very aesthetically pleasing- the dark lighting and wall features make for great photos! Even the washroom is visually pleasingPotential Cons:* Although the lighting i was meant to be aesthetically pleasing, it made it much harder to actually see what we were eating, and we had trouble reading our paycheques* Tip is automatically included (20%)

The ambience and decor was phenomenal so I can see why this restaurant is worth the IG hype. Me and my friends got the Kalamari Mixto, Spanakopita, and the Flaming Saganaki. The Flaming Saganaki was super delicious, the portions were great and loved the food presentations. I believe the food is overpriced for what it's worth but the servers were professional and helpful.
