My family has dined at Vista at Arrowhead many times over the past few years. Last night was the last time I will dine there. Our party of 4 arrived at 5:55 for a 5:45 p.m. reservation. We were told that since we were more than 5 minutes late we would not be seated on the patio because the table was needed at 7:30. We assured the hostess we would be finished by 7:30 and not linger. We also suggested they tell people about the 5 minute late policy at the time of the reservation.We quickly ordered and our food was delivered promptly. The food is usually good but last night the lobster was overcooked and tough and difficult to cut. Another person ordered the halibut and it was also overcooked. Okay - sometimes it's not perfect. The other two meals were good.At 7:15 the waitress dropped off the check and we put the credit card down for payment. At 7:25 Will, the manager, came to our table (with the bill sitting there ready to be taken) and asked if we could move inside. We showed him the bill and credit card which he quickly took to process. He came back and didn't apologize for asking us to move (leave) when it wasn't our fault we were still sitting. We spoke up and said we have dined at this restaurant at least 5 times in the past three weeks and did not appreciate the fact that he asked us to move when we were waiting on them to process the credit card. We told him we felt it was rude and unacceptable to which he replied "okay".This is a restaurant open to the public but they cater to the country club members. Okay - I get that but we are paying guests and should be treated with appreciation too. There was a table of 6 that was on the patio when we arrived and still sitting there when we were asked to move it! Of course, they were in their golf attire and clearly members so they were allowed to linger as long as they wished. Sorry Will! You blew it as manager. I won't be returning.
