Excellent !
Excellent restaurant: the food is tasty, the dishes finely prepared. The dessert, the chocolate mousse, was to die for.

I did not feel generosity in this kitchen even if the dishes are prepared with care. The portions are calculated as accurately as possible, perhaps a little too much. The wines chosen were excellent but I will not return there,

Very well executed dishes, fish cooked to perfection, intense and delicate flavors. Seasonal and well-chosen products. Natural biodynamic wine, difficult to find faultless wines, offering them is courageous and advances the idea of organic. Great young team in the kitchen and in the dining room. THANKS !
Be the first to ReplyA cozy eatery with an imaginative and talented chef, a great staff, and the ability to provide a gluten-free meal.
We were lucky enough to have a friend in Paris who invited us to dinner at Mokko. This is a cozy restaurant with an imaginative and talented chef, a helpful and friendly staff, and the ability to provide a gluten-free dinner for the celiac in our group. The dinner was excellent as was the wine. I heartily recommend this establishment!

Trendy Parisian restaurant that offers excellent food with interesting flavor combinations . Helps if you speak some French and not many vegetarian options.
Be the first to ReplyMokko- a must try restaurant
Wow- what an experience, we had the tasting menu which was just gorgeous. White asparagus which is in season and on display in the beautiful food shops and markets of Paris, scallops, veal - and the most delicious chocolate mousse for dessert. Great wine list and lovely staff who guided us through this beautiful meal.

I’ve got to admit this is one of the best ever restaurants I’ve ever eaten at in Paris! Everything on the menu from the steak tartare to the artichokes to the fish in a white wine sauce were so far perfect we were stunned into silence eating tonight. Paired with 2 loverly white wines made it perfect. Then, the dessert - a 70% chocolate mousse so light airy and covered with a hint of sea salt, crushed hazelnuts was irresistible! So irresistible the extra they brought I ate! Very reasonable prices for what should be a Michelin star restaurant I absolutely will be back!

Mokko is exactly what we were looking for! Ideally located at the foot of Montmartre, stepping into Mokko has the warm feel one might cherish after skiing in the Alps. The kitchen is front and center in this tiny restaurant. The dining room has a bright glow with wine bottles decorating the walls and delighted chatter from diners illuminating the atmosphere.
The menu is written on a chalkboard, which the waiter carries around, and it's as simple as can be, with a couple appetizers, entrees, and desserts each. Still can't decide? No problem; the chef offers his own suggested combination, which amounted to 4 courses for a measly 40 euros or so. My girlfriend, a vegetarian (and non-Francophone) who wasn't sure about her options had her own unique courses crafted with seeming excitement from the staff. And the dishes were absolutely fantastic. All were very simply, with a fairly short list of ingredients apparent. But they were as good as anything either of us had ever eaten.
If you went to Mokko as a 3 Michelin star restaurant, charging 150 euros per person, you would not be the slightest bit disappointed in your experience here. But it's not, and it's, on the contrary, extremely accessible to anyone (we somehow didn't even need reservations). I cannot recommend Mokko highly enough. It's as good as it gets and I could eat there every day.
Superb food!
Ordered the chef selected courses. Everything tasted absolutely heavenly - the wines, too, were superb. The customer service was great, too.
