Miznon Wien Reviews from The Last Year
Busy but delicious
We happened upon this place by chance - it was crowded and the only seating was inside (a bit noisy) but the food was delicious. I had a pita with grilled peppers and onions - excellent. It was a generous portion and I did not leave hungry! The pita bread was thick and pillowy soft. Very good. Others had the ratatouille and really liked it. The ice tea was slightly sweet and had ginger in it, which I really liked. Coming from Belgium, we all thought the price was very good and the portions were hefty. The staff was friendly and cheerful.
A nice little gem
Discovered Miznon by chance as we were looking for a place to get a quick bite. Service was very friendly (one of the cooks changed the music to Pink Floyd when he saw my Dark Side of the Moon T-shirt!). Food was just delicious. The four of us really enjoyed did. Then we stepped across the street for coffee at the Zeitgeist. Really good coffee there. Would definitely go back there.
Long live ratatouille
Very nice place for a simple dinner. I sat in front of the kitchen and tasted all the dishes. Ratatouille is my favorite. Action in the kitchen and atmosphere in the room. THANKS
Tasty simple Israeli food
Love this place. Simple and super tasty Israeli good, nice setting and friendly service. Any pita bread is a great choice, plus the potato and the roasted cauliflower. It would be great if they added some nice fresh salad options.
You don’t necessarily have to go there
The restaurant was well attended, it is a snack bar, you shouldn't expect too much. Personally, I would have preferred a Gyros Pitta.
A unique experience
A busy Israeli restaurant where waiters shout over the loud music to deliver the food. However, I loved the atmosphere and the food was delicious. I don't rate it five stars because the place is very badly organized and we had to stand in line for too long to make our order. Despite that, I recommend it.
Very long wait, maybe understaffed but they were nice and
Very long wait, maybe understaffed but they were nice and tried to be accommodating as one person in the group couldn't eat spicy. The sweet potatoes with crema was something I will be doing at home, the whole cauliflower was just as delicious as the first time I had miznon in paris- the minute steak and chicken were just ok but I think it was because we ordered it NOT in the pita... we also asked for pita on the side that was never brought to us but we were still charged for... I do think that was a lost in translation problem and not done on purpose.
Always happy
We've been here twice in 3 days and will keep coming back! It's cramped inside but it's not a 5-star restaurant, but rather an upscale fast food restaurant for me. We've tried almost everything except the cauliflower and everything is super tasty. My favorite is the (the/that?!) cauliflower pita ***** and if it's too cramped inside and there's no room outside, you can also eat it to go.
Tourist trap: Lots of hype and very little substance at completely inflated prices. Famous Israeli chef, blah blah...
We were there with friends and ate two cauliflowers and a few other small things (in the truest sense of the word). The cauliflower was pretty tasteless and dry (no sauce, just the "taste" of the burnt leaves), and the other dishes were also very poor. The whole thing for 83 euros left us all(!) speechless. It can only be described as a tourist trap. Which is understandable given the immediate proximity to St. Stephen's Cathedral. Never again!
Healthy and original food
We ended up at Miznon in Vienna quite by chance. We didn't know this fast food brand (Israeli?) Rather young clientele. Reception and service a little cool. We sit down, we order at the bar, we pay, we take our drinks to the table. There are some really good craft drinks on the menu. Meals arrive when they are ready; they are prepared to order. It's good, it's healthy, it's original and very fresh (and plentiful). Colorful and flavorful preparations. We had a great time as a family. Despite the crowds, no one pushed us towards the exit. It's a little more expensive than a 'classic' fast food but it's much better.
What a cool spot to grab some Israeli-style street food in
What a cool spot to grab some Israeli-style street food in Old town Vienna. We were looking for a quick spot to grab some food and stumbled upon Miznon. Service was quick inside and we were pleasantly surprised to see that it was a pretty laid back place to grab some food. The sweet potato appetizer, which was recommended, was delicious. I found my meal to be flavored well and would definitely go back.
Phenomenal food!
The food is fantastic, tasty and clearly fresh. Unfortunately, they don't serve coffee (or other hot drinks) and there was a strong smell of weed outside. But other than that, highly recommended!

Good question. Currently the bidder will have to include the prepaid dinner price plus bid to secure the reservation. AT is currently working on an upcoming release where the prepaid amount and the bid amount are two separate transactions. Happy Bidding!
