They were accommodating for a late dinner while I was staying at the hotel but service was very disjointed and uneven. I had to ask for utensils and soy sauce for sushi and it took a while to get the check even though there was almost no one else there. Servers seemed pretty checked out and ready to just go home. The roll was just okay but the crispy tuna appetizer was good.
Be the first to ReplyOne of our favorite rooftops to go to over the weekend.
It's located on top of the Glenmark hotel, and has a beautiful and breathtaking view of the city. Plenty of heaters on cold nights, so be sure to take a jacket or a coat. They have delicious cocktails and mimosa and even on the weekends they serve brunch. They have delicious food to choose from along with sushi and our favorite part would be the coffee and hookah, hookah. Pricing is reasonable considering that they are a hotel and hookah cost $50 which I am willing to pay for that wonderful view and great food. There is a smoking a non-smoking area as well which is convenient for people who don't want to be around the smoke. It's great for groups and the service is wonderful every time we've gone.

We live locally and don't really care for restaurants in Glendale but we do like coming to Mya Rooftop. It's away from the busy Downtown Glendale chaos and is freeway friendly right off of Brand Blvd. Parking is by valet for 20.00 or street parking for free. The lobby is welcoming and the elevators are quick to the rooftop. Restrooms are located on the 8th floor and in the lobby, a little inconvenient but what can you do?! We really enjoy the couches with the fire pit, but be careful it can make your glasses and dishes hot. We definitely suggest a reservation as the fire pits are not available at every couch. There are multiple heaters throughout and we never felt cold, there is also a rain tent in place for the winter months. The menu could definitely use more appetizers, a variety of salads and a bit more creative entree's. We have ordered the filet mignon, sushi rolls and a beet salad a few times and they were great. We also always love a good glass of wine and we have definitely found that here. Other guests around were enjoying the hookah , but it didn't bother us. Staff were friendly at check in and our service was quick. We will continue to come here to enjoy the calm late evenings on the rooftop with city views. Enjoy!

Love this place so much, so cozy and nice, also food is really good. Also want to mention about hostess Ira, she is so friendly and helpful, helped us with choosing the best seat for us, since the weather was crazy it was raining and windy. I rarely visit the same place twice but here I go all the time.
Be the first to ReplyGreat chill place with nice views.
Good hookah quality. Very respectful hostess and servers.
Be the first to ReplyPretty place, great view.
Sushi is good but what sucks is on Tuesday's they don't serve sushi even though menu states steak and sushi. Service is kinda slow you have to flag down the waiter even though place might be empty. Hookah is good and I love how they come around with the charcoal without having to ask for it. It is a bit of a pricey place especially the additional charges they put on your bill and no matter how many people you are there with they charge 18% for tip. Kinda crazy because usually most restaurants charge the fee when you are 6 or more.
Be the first to ReplyPerfect spot for an office holiday party! Lots of heaters.
Amazing view. The sushi and the plates are delicious. Amazing old fashioneds! Will be coming back here for sure.
Be the first to ReplyJust visited here for the first time.
Slightly odd location for a mid rise hotel but OK, I'll go with the flow and the locals here. They offer valet but plenty of free street parking up and down Brand in close proximity at night. Take the lift to the Rooftop and you'll find a large area situated with table and couch sectionals. My group had cocktails and hookah - both were fine and as to be expected. The views are eh as it's covered with rain tenting and the service was as to be expected. The ambiance was interesting. I can see why the locals love this location however for me, not sure its worth a drive out unless meeting locals there.

This place is horrible the name of the place Maya, sushi and steak and they don't have a steak they're out of it. And the hookah it's kinda pricey, it's $45 each plus tax and we have to chase them for charcoal overall I end up not eating anything because they don't have a steaks :(
Be the first to ReplyPerfect Valentine's day at MYA rooftop.
Drinks were amazing. You have the best Hookah in Glendale!!! Perfect Service. Will definitely come back for regular night. Thank you for such a great evening .

Third time trying this rooftop restaurant on top of Glenmark hotel. While the hotel itself has offered exquisite service time and time again, the rooftop restaurant has been a disappointment repeatedly. Two close friends and I had dinner there one of the evenings this week. First of all, gratuity is not a tax. It's supposed to be at the guest's discretion based on their experience: food, service etc.Second, if you are slapping an 18% gratuity, then at least give great service and great food (not even average). For example our beat salad was delivered when we almost finished our entrees. And that's after we reminded the waiter who would disappear for a significant amount of time.My water glass was left empty in front of me. Not once did anyone bothered to be attentive and offer to bring water.Even drinks we ordered were delivered 20 minutes later. Mind you, it was a cold evening and we were maybe one of the 5 or 6 tables in the entire place. As for the Mediterranean Seabass: swimming in spicy red sauce. No real chef would destroy the taste of such delicate and mild fish with such amount of overpowering sauce. One of us couldn't take more than 3 bites without taking a gulp of water to quench the heat. Unless the fish isn't that fresh, and you'd want to cover up the taste. So no matter how you cut it, it's a miserable reason. And they charge 18% gratuity! That's it for me. 3 times is a good number of times to give a place a chance.

We came to this restaurant for valentines we reserved our table two weeks in advance after reviewing the menus options and seating ... to include looking into the extended forecast. So here's how it went. The reservation site asked some choice requests such as inside or out... we chose inside. Next question set menus or regular.. we chose regular! So to our surprise we were seated outside and only offered the set menu. Of which little was what we would have ever ordered! Given that it's Valentine's leaving to go somewhere else was not an option because restaurants are made weeks in advance. I will start with the fact our server (Garo) was very apologetic and attentive. The starters were selected for us, and were decent probably won't order ever again, the steak was cooked good and a little salt and pepper did just the trick. Ultimately our waiter (Garo) saved the evening! But hard to swallow spending 95 per person when you had planned on ordering different foods in a different environment, based on the provided information! I started out with a two star, I would have given a 4 had the expectations had not been soooo misrepresented in the reservation process.

A friend and I went to MYA this evening to have a drink and appetizer. I live in the neighborhood and had been wanting to check it out. The ambiance and view was lovely. Our glass of wine and appetizer (flatbread) was yummy. Big surprise was the detail on the bill...which we didn't notice until after we left (lesson learned). Our party of two, who stayed for just over an hour was charged an 18% service fee AND a 3% "kitchen appreciation fee". Total BS. Prior to seeing the detail we had already tipped 18-20%. I can understand a service fee included for a larger party, but really? They should be upfront with their policy. Will NOT be returning...greedy, ridiculous practice.
Be the first to ReplyHorrible service and I was served rotten fish.
It was so bad my friends and I had to leave - the food untouched - we paid and left without eating more than a bite but my entire party agreed it was inedible - I was promised a refund and was charged full price
Be the first to ReplyWe had the worst service here for NYE.
Is starts with bus boy pretending to be our server and getting our drinks and then an hour later still no drinks. And it was already 10 pm and still no food or drinks. Had to wait go and wave to another server and finally found a true server. Don't know if we will come back here for another event because of the service. Trust.

I recently visited the Mya bar at the rooftop and was extremely disappointed with the cocktails. They were poorly made and lacked any real flavor. I do not recommend this bar for anyone looking for a good cocktail. Save yourself the disappointment and go elsewhere. We ordered smokin' berries, pomegranate mojito and apricot mountain.

My family and I always stay at the Glenmark when we visit Los Angeles and we decided to book the Mya rooftop restaurant for my niece's engagement party. I got in touch with Tatevik (who is the manager) and she really helped me put this celebration together better than a planner could in such a short amount of time! She helped set up the table for me with flower arrangements that were delivered to her and really was so attentive throughout the entire evening. My family was extremely happy with the service and the exceptional food that Tatevik had suggested for us all. If you are looking for a place to celebrate or just to have a fun night out with friends, I highly recommend the Mya!!!

In the past year this place quickly became my go to spot to enjoy some late evening bites, cocktails and hookah:)
Be the first to ReplyThis review is long overdue, but better late than never.
Me and my friend stopped by for a drink here to celebrate her birthday. It was a last minute decision and we weren't even sure they would be able to accommodate us. But everyone from hostess to waiters were extremely nice. We got amazing drinks, food and very attentive service! Special thanks to the manager Gaspar who went above and beyond to make sure we were having the best time!
Be the first to ReplyOctober 2022 - Reservation for 4 around 5pm on a Friday.
Did dine in LA amd was celebrating a birthday.Food/Pricing - Overall the food was delicious! Personally I didn't expect the steak to be precut and with so much sauce. The tasye was fine but quality could be better. I understand that establishments are trying to catch up monetarily due to the pandemic but I was bothered by the 3% appreciation fee on top of the dine in LA automatic 18% gratuity. We honestly would've given more tip but that extra 3% didn't sit well with us.Service/Ambiance - Our server was absolutely the greatest! He was very attentive and on top of our requests. He offered to turn on the heat lamps when he noticed we were chilly, gave us great recommendations on food since it was out first time there, and tried his best to move the umbrella when the sun was right on our faces. Absolutely the best server!Parking - Street parking is recommended. They have parking there but as far as I saw, it was only valet.
Be the first to ReplyThey charge 3% for "Kitchen staff appreciation" on the bill.
ย Minimum bill to sit on the sofa is $300.I'll not be returning.

The best place to go to have an amazing time! Their food is delicious, with amazing views from the rooftop and great atmosphere. Love going to Mya and I always have an amazing time! Highly recommend

I have been to MYA rooftop numerous times and I can easily say I have recommended my entire group of friends and endless family members and they have all loved their experience too. The ease of making reservations on OpenTable is super convenient, the sushi is one of the best I've ever had and drinks are exceptional. Nicolas and Victoria are among my favorite servers, very attentive, kind and speedy. My favorite things on the menu are the beet salad, filet mignon (amazing) and the sliders (to die for.) Compliments to the chef, love the menu and the different selection here. Not to mention the views, ย this is a great place to hang out with friends, go on a date night and even throw a birthday party or special event. I recently just attended brunch on Sunday's which is new and I can't say it was anything short of amazing. I love this place and the people. Thank you guys as always for such an amazing and unforgettable experience!
