Mather Campground Havasupai Street Grand Canyon Village Reviews from The Last Year
Clean and Quiet
The campsite was clean and everyone around was quiet. No generators were running, but I don't know if that is a rule or something that just happened where we were. Summer may have a completely different feel. We saw elk inside the campground along with the usual squirrels, chipmunks, and birds. I highly recommend using the Park bus service to visit the rim and Grand Canyon Village sites.
A local hike, 4/21/24
Just up the road we spent some time in the sunshine walking the loop at the local campground. There were wild horses to see, and an easy stroll through the tall pines.
Basic
This was the least favorite location we stayed at along our trip. Luckily it was only for a night! The bathrooms/showers are repulsive. The shuttle bus stops at 745pm- so if you plan to dine out you will have to take a taxi back to your camp area. The only good thing about this location was the fires! Most the RV parks we stayed at fires were prohibited. It serves its purpose for a night maybe 2 but get in and get out. Overall was just Meh!
Great campground
Amazing campground. Showers at the front with laundry off season hours last shower at 545 pm FYI off season starts 10/16/23. Nice campgrounds. Definitely going to stay here again. Aspen loop #59 was perfect. You have a fire pit, can bring your own wood. Near restaurants and the store and they are walking distance. Bus is close too.
Last resort campground
This is the most basic campground facilities you can get. Sites are small and packed tightly with zero privacy. The showers cost $2.50 and are flithy. I gave two stars instead on one because of proximity to the Grand Canyon and the fact that they offer laundry facilities.
great stay
This campground was a great choice, we enjoyed one night here. The place for tents is pretty big, The bathroom was 200 m from us, it was clean. Access to shower and portable water. At night it was quiet, besides of the elks noises. Pretty close to a grocery store and restaurants. Easy self check-in and check-out. Close to the Grand Canyon.
Great summer stay
This is the best deal you can get for easy access while camping at the Grand Canyon. The sites are spacious and had plenty of room for our two tents, with a little bit of shade to save you from the hot summer sun. Watching elk parade through the grounds was an added bonus. It is close to the canyon itself, as well as the Market and the restaurant/services at Yavapai Lodge. My only complaint, however, is that for a multi-billion dollar national park, the showers should a.) not cost $2.50/per, and b.) be way better taken care of. At busy times, they were pretty unappealing.
Nice and cheap
This is a Well functioning CampGround with different amenities such as ok toilets, access to shower, rv dump and drinking water, paced roads and Nice spots for everyone. Close to the Grand Canyon village market and shuttles. Very cheap. Close to the South rim.

Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.

Can come from a lot of places, people who don't want to get charged their cancellation fee or people who just have them and cant go.

almost all restaurants aren't affiliated with AT and I'm guessing it's mostly people wanting to not pay cancellation fees.
