MaryGold's Florida Brasserie Miami Reviews from The Last Year
I went there for my birthday.
Service was good. Atmosphere was peaceful. I ordered the crabmeat pasta. It was too salty for me. My husband ordered burger + fries. We also had Oxtail 2 devil eggs as appetizers.

Eating at Marygold Restaurant in Wynwood was an exceptional experience. The Tomahawk steak was incredibly delicious, and sharing it with my family of four made the meal even more enjoyable. The ambiance was elevated by the presence of a jazz band, adding to the overall fantastic dining experience.
Place is Overpriced for no reason.
Food just ok at best. Parking is difficult and Valet parking , a disaster

Wow! Wow! Wow! If I could give this place ten stars, I would! It's been a long time since I've found a place in Miami that has my palate jumping for more combined with a beautiful ambiance, live music and excellent customer service. Every single dish Olessia recommended was excellent! I am never a fan of driving to Wynwood but this was worth. First dish was a foam egg with caviar. We then did the brioche with oxtail, the pasta with big chunks of crab, fries, deviled eggs, waffle, escargot, a yummy and warm bread with some honey (check out the pictures of our items) and the drinks were a hit! Dessert was the carrot cake and it was simply divine. This spot is a must for date, hanging with the crew or even by yourself. The prices and portions were on point. Be sure to check them out and enjoy!
Marygold's has been on our go to list for a bit so we
Marygold's has been on our go to list for a bit so we finally decided to go ahead and give it a try. We came in Saturday night and we were asked if we preferred inside or outdoor seating, we said inside but they proceeded to go ahead and seat us outside anyway even though there was a bunch of open tables inside (we were told we couldn't be seated at these tables for some reason) lol. As we overlooked that, we immediately got greeted and had our order taken. We had the Brioche, Caviar Waffle, Beignets, Classic Oysters, Heirloom Tomatoes, Agnolotti, Grilled Swordfish, Filet Mignon with Yukon Mash, and wrapped up the meal with a warm chocolate Fondant. Everything was perfect and plated beautifully. My only complaint was that the steak was over cooked a bit for my liking but I'll live. Everything else was great, even noted Brad Kilgore himself overlooking the service. Thanks Marygold's!
Issues were addressed with the new manager named Castiana.
She's not equipped with how to lead her employees, nor is she skilled in finding solutions to minor issues. I had a terrible experience this evening. It was messy. Most of the time, service feels rushed in this setting but the food is delicious. The servers don't know the placement of seating for clients when serving food. There is a lack of hospitality in this restaurant and I will not be going back. The hours are terrible. This place started well but things are changing for the worse. Service has been on the decline. As I was eating dinner, one of the employees started to close while we were sitting at the corner of the bar. It was cold and raining outside. The wind was blowing in through the door as my colleague and I were eating with dresses on. No regard to guest experience and reasonable accommodations such as waiting to close when guests are gone. Employees were closing 10 mins prior to closing time. Kitchen closes 30 mins prior to closing time. What is going on???? Corporate attention please!!!!
I went to this restaurant and left very unimpressed.
Food was great, but the service was terrible. We had to ask for water twice, like we were begging for something that should be offered with the service. Cocktails were decent, but can't speak much about that part since we ordered additional cocktails and they never came because the bar was too busy. Either the service is bad in general, or they were understaffed. Can't speak for the desserts. We got one dessert menu for a table of over five people, so at that point we were done with their service, or lack of, so we left.

What a beautiful spot! Before I dive into the food, drink, and service, let me gush about how much I loved the aesthetic of this restaurant. Incredible high ceilings, muted oranges and green tones, beautiful marigolds, and clean, open spaces. I loved it and I wish I had better pictures of it! Now onto the service. All of the bartenders were nice, however one of the gentlemen serving us forgot to ring in items we had ordered twice, and then as happy hour was coming to an end he never stopped back by our seats to ask if we wanted anything else. When he finally came back (2 minutes after happy hour had ended) he said we couldn't order anything else from that menu even though we had attempted to get his attention multiple times. With all of that being said, he may have just been having an off day and the food, drink, and atmosphere more than made up for it! All of the happy hour cocktails we tried were refreshing, unique, delicious, and beautifully presented. The smoked fish dip was wonderful, and the oxtail beignets were filling and so flavorful. But the happy hour $1 oysters were some of the best not only dollar oysters but oysters I've had in a long time. They were unbelievably clean, a great size, and excellent flavor. I have talked about my experience here to so many friends, and I cannot wait to come back again soon!

We went out for a date night at this Michelin Chef operated restaurant expecting to be marveled but ended up with serious disappointment. As we arrived early for our reservation, we were seated very quickly which was good, but then we were ignored for a good ten minutes without even being offered water. Staff looked very open, many not doing much, how could they let that happen? We met our server, who had zero personality, and tried to review the wine and spirits menu, which is a bunch of repeated pages, and were not impressed at all. Much less when we learned there were no specials for the evening, as the menu is very small and simple. We left without bothering to ask about dessert as we figured that would give us the same impression.
Looking forward to date night on a Saturday night at this
Looking forward to date night on a Saturday night at this beautiful place started out a bit rocky. As anyone knows, parking at Wynwood on the weekends is an extreme challenge, so opted to valet instead. However, the valet attendant advised there were only spots for the guests at the hotel and none for the restaurants. So, a 1/4 mile walk to the nearest parking garage. At 7:15pm we sat at the best table in the house, a cute booth close enough to fully watch the action in the kitchen. The place is very nicely decorated, giving you that trendy but classy vibe of Wynwood. Felt a little puzzled as we waited, waited and waited for someone to acknowledge us while watching multiple staff members chit-chat by the pass. Oh no, I thought - don't tell me this is one of these places. I decided to flag someone, dressed differently from the wait staff to inquire where our server was since it had been 15 minutes and not even a glass of water. After a few minutes, an apology was provided along with their house made brioche and our server arrived. We made good use of the menu time so we knew exactly what we wanted. Our server arrived to take our order. When asked about specials, off the menu? No, no specials. When asked about their spirits selections (wasn't feeling any of their mixed cocktails), No spirit menu (even though on their cocktail list there's a section that says spirits). Oh no, i again thought - we're going go to be on zero personality for dinner. We went down the list of apps and mains, and i walked over to the bar to request the drinks myself. So far, not impressed. Food arrived, and since I've already made this a longer than usual review I'll get straight to the point: Brioche: Very fluffy and their housemade honey butter is unbelievable. Jerk Oxtail Beignet: The presentation is beautiful. Difficult to eat, but the oxtail was delicious. Smoked Fish Dip: The smallest portion of dip I've ever seen. Only served with celery. Maybe add some pita? Grilled Swordfish: $36 for a swordfish steak and caramelized onions. Fish was good, but felt empty without anything to pair. If only the server could of suggested a side to go along with it? Tagliatelle: Star of the night. If you like seafood and pasta this is your go-to. The server warmed up a little midway and until the end but still just didn't have the personality to go with this beautiful place. I want to say the food was great but the service was terrible, but I can't. The food was just OK, sure it was tasty and presentation is great but nothing blew my mind. Felt commercialized. For those of you who rated this experience 3 stars and below, I'm right there with ya. Will I return? Most likely not. Two stars - could have been better.

It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!
